I headcanon that Kaito has brown hair like Chikage's and Aoko's but he dyes his hair black/wears a kind of wig to look more like his father with a different hair style, I know it could be the lighting but it's driving me insane how Kid sometimes has black hair. I deeply sympathise with people who mistook his many shades of blue for purple, on the topic of eyes Chikage likes to dye her hair fun colours and wear coloured contacts so she always looks different (headcanon again - it just fits with her criminal history and free spirit lifestyle), I can't decide if I prefer her with brown, green or purple eyes.

On a similar not ho do you feel about Akako having hair such a night-black it's almost purple as opposed to her ombre of crimson and scarlet she had originally in the anime to match her red eyes? I think manga Hakuba was blonde with pale blue eyes, then anime Hakuba had light brown/dirty blonde hair and red eyes and then golden blonde (almost yellow) hair and brown eyes - what appearance of his is your favourite?

Also I headcanon that Midoriko has British heritage and that's partly why she's extra excited to befriend Hakuba (Gosho doesn't understand recessive genes, red and purple eyes could by due to albinism but blue eyes? No), it would fit the theme more if she had green eyes and Aoko's blue eyes were a mutation/skipped a generation and so happened to fit her birthstone but blue eyes would make more sense genetically (maybe she can have turquoise eyes, a blue-green colour).

THIS WAS ONE OF THE QUESTIONS I WAS VERY EXCITED TO ANSWER.

One thing I really liked about 1412 was Kaito's hair color change, how he decided to dye it black every time he disguises himself as KID. I think this is a great move because Toichi had black hair and can trick Snake better this way!

GOD, do you know what Kaito's hair looked like in episode 76? If you don't remember, please check out this screenshot.

Okay, I know that his hair is actually spiked, but I really like to think that it actually looks like that and he only combs it in spikes because that's how Aoko combs her hair.

BUT I LIKE TO FANTASIZE ABOUT HIS HAIR BEING LIKE THIS, WAVY. Can you imagine if he dyed it red? Well, this is very off topic, but I like to fantasize that when Kaito stops being a CHILD he dyes his hair to close cycles.

Note: I actually have an argument in my head to justify why Kaito should grow his curly hair, dye it red and dress like a biker while traveling the world.

I stop being a normal person when we talk about Kaito's hair, here, I have this appreciation post and a video of simply, Kaito's hair.

In fact, in some movies his hair as KID looks black and in 1412 he actually changes it to black. I've also seen episodes of Detco where he has it black, friend, don't worry, you're not crazy I believe you. In fact, I really love Kaito's curly black hair from movie 3.

Back to the topic of his eyes, I actually watched Magic Kaito 1412 first before Detco, so I was always confused as to why people said Kaito's eyes were purple… Then I understood! In Detco sometimes his eye color looked different.

I'm all for saying his eyes are blue or purple, or even the idea that they're actually purple and he just wears contact lenses.

Personally, I really like (TOO MUCH) the headcanon that Chikage is French, according to Google, in France the majority of women have brown hair and some are natural blondes. I like to think her original hair color was actually blonde or red… I’m going to adopt your headcanon! Because Chikage could definitely dye her hair and wear contact lenses!

Personally, I'm leaning towards the fact that she's originally a redhead with green eyes, but it would also be cool if she had purple eyes to pass down to Kaito.

For a long time I thought Chikage's eyes were yellow, lmao, you could say she wears contact lenses. Let's take all the colors! She could change her outfit every week! I mean, she's also a master of disguise, I don't doubt she has wigs a long list of contact lenses available.

I think red eyes and dark hair make Akako look super pretty! But I'll always prefer her as a redhead, however, I have a headcanon here that might interest you.

My headcanon is that Akako has dark hair (like in 1412) and blue eyes without magic, and it's thanks to her powers that her eyes and hair turn red (it could be canon, but without confirmation from gosho I won't say anything).

There's an image that came out a few months ago where Akako actually has brown hair and blue eyes, there's also Hakuba with blonde hair and blue eyes. (I couldn't find the image).

I wonder what gosho has with brown hair and blue eyes, there's more variety than just that. Anyway, I can say that I like Saguru's almost yellow blonde hair color in 1412 with his brown eye color. But I don't reject the other variables, the red eye color makes me think of vampires. It would be interesting if Hakuba was one, in fact, it's funny but a while ago I came across an anime about vampire detectives.

I really love the idea of Midoriko having British heritage! Also the headcanon that Aoko's eyes aren't blue but aquamarine, but turquoise would look beautiful too. I'm going to adopt your headcanon.

Tragedy strikes when Satoru sends the wrong screenshot to the wrong person.

“Hey, Gojo. Quick question,” Shoko asks as she enters the staff room, staring down at her phone. “This list you sent me.”

“List?” Satoru’s head snaps up from scrolling through his own phone, like a dog who’s just seen a cat or a squirrel pass by. “What list?”

There’s panic in his eyes as his brain runs a mile a minute, helpfully reminding him about a list that he was supposed to send to Nanami and may or may not have sent to someone else instead. His fears are confirmed when Shoko turns her phone to him and Satoru sees the aforementioned list staring back at him.

“...That wasn’t supposed to be sent to you.”

“Oh? Who were you going to send this…” Shoko turns her phone back to her line of sight and reads the words, “... ’dream valentine’s day ’ list?”

“...Nanami.”

“You were gonna send this ‘dream valentine’s day’ list to Nanami,” Shoko deadpans but Satoru could see the mirth in her eyes. She’s laughing at him. “You should’ve told me you already have plans with him. And to think I even switched shifts so I can clock out early.”

“Oh, shut up. You know those plans are with you,” Satoru says, throwing one of the cushions at her which a snickering Shoko deftly caught before sitting beside him. “I was just asking for his input.”

“Why? I think it’s a pretty solid list already.”

“Yeah?”

“Mhmm,” Shoko hums, lifting her legs to rest on his lap. “I mean, the first on the agenda alone. ‘Make out for approximately seven hours'? Romantic.”

“That’s me. Mr. Romance.” Satoru shrugs, deciding to just ride along Shoko’s teasing as he does.

“Second on the agenda, ‘something with flowers or plants or art’. I get the flowers or plants part, but what’s with the art thing?”

“Thought we’d try something different this year. Bring in a little culture in the mix.”

“Oh? What do you have in mind?” At the face Satoru makes at her, Shoko just grins and needles at him. “C’mon. Secret’s out anyway. Tell me already so I can look forward to it more.”

“It was supposed to be a surprise,” Satoru mutters, pouting.

“Yeah, well, you already messed that one up when you wrong sent to me, buddy.” She pats his arm consolingly and keeps it there. “C’mon. I’m pretty easy to please. I’ll probably still be surprised. I promise.”

Satoru sighs, easily giving in to her as he always does. God. The power this woman holds over him. If she ever realizes she’s got him wrapped around her pinky, the world as they know it is doomed—not like she isn’t aware of it anyway, sharp as she is.

“The Van Gogh Alive exhibit.”

“The one in Shinagawa? I’ve always wanted to go.”

“I know,” he says, reaching over to tuck an errant lock of hair behind her ear before his hand decided to rest on her nape. “Got us tickets the day you mentioned it.”

“Mmm,” Shoko hums, pleased and trying in vain to hide the smile threatening to break out by pressing her lips together. “And then dinner.”

“Yeah, ‘cause we’ll be hungry after all that walking and art appreciating.”

“Not to mention the approximately seven hours of making out prior to that. Smart.”

“I do have my moments.”

“Tiramisu for dessert?”

Satoru shrugs. “I like sweets and you don’t. Gotta find a middle ground, you know? Made a reservation at that French patisserie we said we’d try ages ago.”

“A good a time as any, huh?” Shoko looks back at her phone and reads the last item on the list. “‘Hand stuff’? What, like holding hands—”

“Yes, naturally. Obviously. Definitely a total must!”

“—or… hand stuff ?” Shoko finishes with a suggestive look.

“Or…?” Satoru narrows his eyes at her as if in confusion before realization hits him at Shoko’s look. “Oh. Oh! I actually really only meant the first one, but yes! I am also definitely not opposed to the other hand stuff part.”

“Sounds like a solid dream valentine’s day then.”

“Pick you up at five?”

“Took half of the day off. If you don’t have anything else on your plate today you can pick me up after lunch break,” Shoko says standing up from her perch next to him and starting for the door, already knowing the rest of his day is free. “Gotta get a start on the approximately seven hours of making out if we want to make it to the rest of our reservations after all.”

Shoko exits with a smirk and a wink over her shoulder, leaving Satoru blushing to the tips of his ears and practically vibrating in anticipation.

Digimon Tamers - Episode 44

Random goth girl yaaaaasssss! IDK what her point is, but I love her vibe lol. Maybe they realized there was an imbalance between male and female characters and were like "throw another one in there!" Not sure how to feel about Dobermon. I appreciate the pun, but his janky, emaciated-looking design is pretty ugly (R.I.P. lol).

Notes:

Newscaster guy in the beginning was so chill lol. I know he's a professional, but people don't seem pressed enough about their city being engulfed in a heat-radiating blob.

Is there any significance to only Takato noticing Juri's appearances? The fact that no one else is sensing her makes me wonder if she's some kind of projection and not actually there...

Seeing the parents all team up to support their kids was super sweet. I appreciated the "we don't approve, but we're not going to stop you" speech.

So many colorful eyes in this season! Jian's mom's eyes were very pink in this episode. (And Ruki's mom's are purple like hers)

They would name the gothic, blonde haired girl "Alice," so stereotypical. I kinda expected her to have an accent, but I'm relieved she didn't (Engrish stuff can be cringey and distracting)

Oh...going through my screenshots that Alice is related to the Digimon researcher dude...did not catch that first time around.

Confused about the continuity of the creation of the first digimon. In 02 I kinda thought Oikawa and friends created digimon, but I guess they didn't create the first ones. In this episode it's implied that red-haired dude's kid designed all of the digimon which is a fun idea. I guess not too different from Takato designing Guilmon (though I assume the former were programmed and not digignomed into existence).

So Dobermon was sent by the holy beasts to give the gang the power to digivolve into ultimate. Why him tho? Seems like a weird choice. He's not an ultimate (like...the holy beasts should be hanging out with a bunch of ultimates rn right?)

I am love. Find me, and walk beside me.

We never see the Mana Goddess in LoM in a proper goddess form, but the Teardrop Crystal anime gave her one in the first episode as you can see in my screenshot.

My fanart is my attempt to draw her closer to the game's art style for characters, but admittedly the way I color my illustrations is not at all close to how Mr. Kameoka uses colors. Line art is my forte and colors are where I'm weakest. At the same time, I don't want to copy the game's art style perfectly, I would say my way is inspired by it.

I had this as a wip for so long, but I'm glad I got to finish it!

So, funny story - I actually found the Mana Goddess's anime design kind of generic. Not bad at all, but it didn't feel like the other character designs from the game. However, drawing her and closely looking at the details did give me better appreciation for the design.

Spoiler for the final boss fight for the game under the cut:

I did find it clever how they sneaked in elements of her look from her final boss look.

The pink and purple sprinkled throughout her goddess form are her predominant colors in the boss fight against the corrupted version of herself. The pink and purple in her hair as seen in the anime kind of makes it look like the colors are creeping into her, even.

So, for people who didn't know she was the final boss, it's easy to brush off the use of pink and purple as just the use of other colors to break up all the green in her design, but for people who do know, it's a nice reference.

Also, the huge leaves that frame her back in her goddess form resembles the Sproutlings', being tipped at the end with red, making again a visual connection. Those same huge leaves are also present in her base form in the boss fight!

Btw, I did use somewhat desaturated colors on purpose to again mimic the softer, gentler watercolors of the videogame character art. I'm not sure how to put it, Shinichi Kameoka's art is still very colorful, don't get me wrong, but it's not in a super vibrant way, it feels more earthy and it's so nice to look at without getting overwhelmed.

Me, I kinda shoot up the saturation for my own art lol, so I had to use desaturated tones to get closer to how his art feels. So as a bonus, here's my fanart with how it would look like if I kept my usual level of saturation lol.

The version posted at the very top is how I finished it, this version I tweaked with editing to shoot up the saturation. If you compare the two the first one does end up kind of dull looking I'm afraid, so I still have to learn how to use desaturated colors better. And probably also rethink about how way too vibrant my own art is pfft.

Ok on why ITNL 15 was so technically difficult.

Under a cut for ppl who haven't read it & wanna keep it a surprise

So writing traditional action ends up feeling like choreography. I plan out the steps following the motion that feels the most natural. It can be tricky sometimes, but mostly in figuring out how to describe an action I see in my mind. Overall, I end up writing traditional action really quickly actually bc it's Fun and Exciting and it Flows

What went down in ITNL 15 was not traditional action. Really, it was an unconventional torture scene.

So the trickiness came from multiple things. First & honestly one of the hardest things was getting into the head of a madman. Someone who will gleefully kill a lot of people just to hurt someone psychologically. Someone spiteful, sadistic, and just having so much fun with it (but also not Actually having that much fun, bc he was also just Really Angry)

First time writing him, too. So I had to find a new character's voice On Top of exploring the whims he would follow when literally torturing someone.

And then we get to the actual actions of it. There was no choreography because there was no dance to it. No flow of motion. There was a Burst at the start of the interaction, but then it all just Stops. Vash is forced to take it at Legato's pace as he toys with him.

That was a huge part of how tricky it was. Following the thread of where Legato was taking it & being unable to push things along with Vash. Vash was just along for the ride, existing just to be toyed with. Falling right into Legato's expectations with his reactions...

Except for two parts. And these were some of the trickiest.

When he managed to break out of the control Just A Little Bit. And then when he's on his knees, emotionally stripped bare, and decides to go for the one jab that he knows will Hurt Him just as a stubborn "fuck you", since he didn't have any other way to take autonomy in that scene.

He pays for it. The paragraph where Legato broke Vash's nose was the one that took me 50 fucking minutes to write. Which, on that note, I can show a screenshot of my working through it!

Final paragraph: Legato's face twisted in instant fury. His hand tightened harshly in Vash's hair, using it as a grip to bash his nose into his knee with a sickening crunch.

And the progress pic ^ lmao. Something I do while trying to puzzle out wording is push the old version down & start working on a new version, but not deleting the old yet in case I wanna switch back or otherwise re-use any of the wording.

There ended up being about 15 of these discarded lines. 111 words of discarded text. Until I finally settled on the version in the thing.

Another thing I focus on a lot while writing is the motion of the words, and that was so much of the struggle here. Such a simple moment, you would think. He's just breaking his nose. But describing it in a way that is Concise while also communicating the gravity of it AND the motion of the words themselves. It's a lot to consider. And it's such a miserable moment for Vash, it was so hard to get it to a point I was satisfied with.

I'm pretty proud of how the scene turned out, in the end. Maybe not 100% perfect. There are definitely a few points that feel held together with duct tape and tooth picks. Then other parts where I'm just like "holy fucking shit, I wrote this???" An interesting combination, but I feel like that's writing in general.

And! It seems like my work paid off! People seem to have enjoyed the chapter, which makes all the work feel a lot more worth it. It's a nice feeling to know all that time is appreciated.

Yeah . A Lot went into this scene. Definitely out of the bounds of anything else ive written before. But I think I can confidently call this a success 😌

I've seen one (1) Shenpai video of her playing Baldur's Gate 3, alongside creating a character with @notanegrill for his second play (first play didn't work out so well) and I am already in love with Astarion.

I'm an Astarion enjoyer and damn it not again with the white hair and pointy eared guys who can charm my shoes off in ten or less words. He sees us as food that should not be as attractive but he is a little babo shnookums and he is such a pathetic little thing that I can't help it. He can't say 'CAN I HAVE JUST A LITTLE TASTE' with those tired watery eyes and not expect me to cave in like a caprisun you sucked the air from.

All to the reluctant acceptance of some.

And the support of others.

Can't wait to dream about him.

On the flip side of the 'See mode' tab,

Speaking of dreams we got a real handsome boy this time around and they're so adorable!! I think we named him Asher and he's a Bard, which V didn't expect would matter too much until he realized that being a Wizard was easier to study that alien technology/language while trying to save that other woman. Wow names will be so hard starting from now.

I didn't save any screenshots of his final looks but maybe V will be able to provide eventually. Until then, have some of our conversations during the 2 hour long character creation.

I don't know if she's meant to have a name but she is so pretty, I think we ended up making her a Wood Elf so we played along with the forest aesthetic.

Also this is the Shenpai video. I forgot Im a fan of her content because it's so fun to watch and the reactions are 1 to 1 with what I would have done. Love the content, the creator, actually the bestest experience of actual gameplay.

8.) common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

Luke Skywalker is gay has become a super popular fandom opinion these days. And I'm sorry guys, but he's not. He's aromantic.

In Legends canon, Luke's love life is abysmal. Because he keeps phoning it in - he wants companionship, but he's been raised to think it has to happen through a romantic lens. But every time he goes that route? It never really turns out to be what he's really looking for. Until, finally, he and Mara Jade reconnect on a mission together and they just click. There's nothing romantic about their connection, but they just realize that this is it for them both. This is the relationship they want, the companionship they've been looking for.

Luke and Mara's marriage is more QPR than romance and I think that's why I always liked it so much.

Now, in non-legends land, all we really see of Luke is that he... has no romantic relationships. No attachments. The fandom ship of Din/Luke is cute and I love the idea of them co-parenting together or even having a QPR too, but... evidence is still pointing towards aromantic Luke Skywalker for me.

12.) the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

Julian Albert. He was there for the worst season of the first half of the Flash and he is kinda an asshole for the first half of that season. And he doesn't really seem to get for the second half of the season that Caitlin doesn't reciprocate his feelings for her. So I do get why he's not popular. But...

He's an asshole for the first half of the season because he's grieving and scared. His sister died and then his friends at the dig site died and he can't remember how that last one happened. The dig site event killed his career in archaeology and he went into forensics, maybe because he was afraid he did it because of the black outs. Black outs that keep happening. He shoves Barry away not because he doesn't want to be friends with this friendly guy that everyone keeps talking about being a really good person to spend time with, but because he doesn't want Barry to be the next person who gets hurt.

And when the problem of Alchemy is solved and Julian's safe from getting possessed again? He immediately wants to connect, to have friends. Even when he knows that the person who put him through all that fear was an alt version of Barry, he doesn't lash out or blame Barry for any of it. He just wants people he can connect with so much. He's sarcastic and sweet and I do think that if Caitlin had just straight up said she was only interested in being friends that he'd have been a bit sad but otherwise okay with that.

Honestly, Barry needed a work friend and for there to be proof he was not the only CSI for the entire CCPD, so losing Julian was a shame.

22.) your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores

I don't see a whole lot done about Ralph's Book (or Books) of Ralph in fandom, but I really adore those. They're ridiculous and hard to take serious, but they represent how lonely Ralph's been all his life. So him sharing those with Cisco and Caitlin were a sign of how much he'd come to trust and care about them that he was sharing the parts of himself that desperately needed companionship. The parts that he'd un-buried because of the two of them and Barry, Iris, Joe, Cecile, and Harry during season 4.

So I do love the fact that Cisco often goes along with Ralph's advice (except for the hair cut) in S5 even though it puts him outside his comfort zone. Because he does see that Ralph's trying to help in his own way and he appreciates how much Ralph cares.

Putting the answers under a read more since the images I used in the second question made the post look longer than I planned it to be.

💖 - favorite relationship outside of the Gang?

So when I first read this question I interpreted it as "favorite relationship between a member of the Gang and a non member", but looking at it again I think it's actually supposed to be "favorite relationship between two non-Gang members", so that's what I'll answer. (In case you all were curious though, the relationships I was originally going to talk about were Daphne + Alex Super ["Mamba Wamba and the Voodoo Hoodoo"], Velma + Debbie ["The Weird Winds of Winona"], Shaggy + Tinker [Laff-a-Lympics], and Scrappy with the Gang more generally.)

I'm a big fan of Scrappy with Yabba Doo (and Deputy Dusty) from the Yabba Doo shorts. It's a similar dynamic to the one he has with Scooby and Shaggy, with Scrappy admiring his uncle and the human character trying to keep him out of trouble, but it gets switched up by having Yabba also being a very brave, go-getter sort of character. I thought it was a neat dynamic for Scrappy to bounce off of, someone who is just as direct + impulsive as him but still has life experience that can be used to nurture and guide him. It allows for Scrappy to have a different adult influence and environment in his life while still having the jokes that come with a comedic character trying to control him/deal with the consequences of his actions.

It's my personal preference that if Scrappy doesn't end up staying with Scooby and Shaggy, that he gets to be with Yabba and Dusty and grow up to be a cowboy. It fits his personality well and Yabba and Dusty clearly liked having him around too (even if Dusty got exasperated sometimes).

👗- favorite outfit(s) worn by the Gang?

For this question I'm limiting myself to just on outfits I have screenshots for on this blog, since if I considered everything the characters have ever worn we'd be here all day.

For Fred, I'm going to go with a comic outfit instead of a show one, the swimsuit he wore in the comic "Mystery in Malibu". (Technically I didn't screenshot this particular outfit but I've posted panels from this comic so I'll count it.) I just think it's interesting that they chose to give him swim briefs instead of swim trunks.

For Velma, I'm going with the pajamas she wore in "The Ghost of Bigfoot". I think the detail of her wearing something in her hair - I think they're hair rollers specifically - was a neat choice for the creators to make. The little hint of pink is nice, too, switching up her colors slightly.

Staying with "The Ghost of Bigfoot", I've mentioned a couple times before that I'm a big fan of Daphne's pajamas in this episode too. I just think the nightgown is super cute. I like the frills at the top and I think using the light pink was a good color choice; it brings emphasis to a color that's part of her outfit but isn't her main one, and I think a softer color like that works well with this style of nightgown. (I personally refer to as a "baby doll" nightgown, idk what the offical name is). The matching slippers were a good choice too, very in-character.

I also have a couple honorable mentions for Daphne outfits, as she is a fashionable gal. First is the winter outfit she wore in "The Ghost of Bigfoot" (I've heard some people don't like it but personally I appreciate her cute hat and dedication to matching clothes) and the second is her swimwear from the aforementioned "Mystery in Malibu" comic, since it's that light pink color I think looks good on her and also she wears a nifty jacket with it.

For Shaggy and Scooby, I'm fond of their knight + squire outfit from the Laff-a-Lympics episode "Egypt and Sherwood Forest". I like the detail of Shaggy's shirt sticking out of his armor, both because it's part of his whole "loose clothes" look and because it kinda makes it look like he's wearing a skirt. Scooby's squire outfit is just cute to me, with the frilly collar and the way his ears stick out of his hat. (There was also a joke someone posted on one of my screenshots that the "S" on their outfits looked like it was there for their initials, which just makes me like them more.)

An honorable mention outfit for Shaggy is the winter outfit he wears during the dog sled race in "Canada and Warsaw, Poland”. I like how they switch up his colors a bit by going with red + yellow, and how he got the full winter getup with a fun hat and cozy boots and stuff.

Okay I don't wanna be rude or anything rkght-? But I'm very new to the selfship community, I mean I've always selfshipped bit I didn't know there was a COMMUNITY yknow

Anyways whenever I selfshipped I never saw them as mine or anything or actuslly as my partner it was always just haha and wishful thinking, but when I joined that selfship community I saw stuff about sharing

Which I've never ever seen before. Then I looked at some people's accounts and realized they were referring to their f/o's as their boyfriends and girlfriends etc

So basically, do people actuslly get upset that other people selfship with someone they selfship

Like does it ACTUALLY affect their mental health

Bc for me they were never MINE they were js a character I was into. But then it gets kinda more concerning when it's not just Hobie brown or Alistor or Husk. Fictional characters aren't as concerning. But when it comes to real people, like Rendog or Joel or Grian can you really call them yours? These are REAL people mind you and they don't belong to anyone.

Anyways, I'm just hoping you can explain you're thought process or something,I hope this wasn't rude

First off, who said anyone here was selfshipping with IRL Rendog, Grian, or whoever else? As shown in the screenshot below of my PINNED POST::

I've personally only ever selfshipped with CHARACTER Rendog, hence the "c!" part in front of his name. I know there are people that purely see the cubito as the content creator, yet I am of the group that places a separation between the two. I love the content creator, don't get me wrong, but I ONLY selfship with the silly dog hybrid character he plays on the silly Minecraft server.

Secondly, yes. It can absolutely affect someone's mental health. I am not ashamed of admitting that I can get very upset by it, yet I'm working on it. I acknowledge it's not the healthiest thing in the world to be so heavily attached to a fictional character.

That said, it's not like I willingly act this way. I'm not going into the nitty gritty of WHY I'm so attached to cRendog other than saying that it's a mix of me having formally found Ren (the content creator) and his Hermitcraft Season 9 POV shortly after escaping a toxic/abusive relationship and seeking comfort as well as stress from having battled medical issues last year. I say formally because I knew who he was due to the Life/Traffic series, but I never quite got around to watching UNTIL Hermitcraft Season 9.

I personally view cRendog as my boyfriend. Not in a serious way, of course, but rather I find comfort in that. Even then, it's the specific version of cRendog that I've gradually changed? Nothing drastic or heavily different. The cRendog I selfship with is a mix of the one we see on Hermitcraft with some headcanons, as seen below::

The cRendog I personally selfship with is a fat transmasc bigender dog hybrid with a tooth gap, paints his nails, and (now) has grey hairs mixed in with his long brown hair.

There's more shifts and adjustments to his personality and mannerisms that I won't go into here (as it's not entirely relevant other than they exist). These changes exist because I've spent so much of my personal time drawing art and writing and simply talking about the relationship he'd have with my Hermitsona/self insert.

He may not be real, instead lines on a page and pixels on a screen, but it's what he REPRESENTS that affects me. I care deeply for him and genuinely appreciate what he's done for me as a comfort character. I refer to him less as a comfort character and more like a boyfriend, simply because to me? It simply suits the situation more.

Overall, I can't speak for others and how they selfship or how it affects them. Nor do I intend to speak for them. This is how it is for me with cRendog. Again, you're not being rude, and I don't mind answering further questions.

a/n: i have been really into domestic harry at the moment so this is a short blurb that is hopefully easy to read and comforting <3 reblogs and comments are always appreciated luv u (based on this) talk to me about my writing!!

“Hello Vogue, this is Harry Styles and come get unready with me.” Harry punctuates his introduction with a wave and closed-mouthed smile, donned in a fluffy purple robe.

He feels weird doing his daily nighttime routine in front of a ring light and camera instead of beside his wife, but being able to hear her pottering around in their room was making the process a little less mechanic.

It was the first pit-stop on tour, and he was staying at a service apartment in New York with his wife and twins. Normally, he wouldn’t sacrifice his day off to do any sort of work or promo. But he figured he could get this done pretty quickly, and Vogue had been so gracious to him before. At least he already got to rock the twins to bed and sit on the counter and watch y/n did her skincare routine.

Harry picks up a headband with cat ears and shows it off to the camera with a cheeky grin. “First things first, we have’ta push the hair back. My wife scolds me when I come to bed with a wet fringe.” When his hair is secured under the headband, he puts up a peace sign and poses for the camera, giving everyone the perfect opportunity to screenshot Harry Styles with cat ears.

“This is the cleanser I use,” he brings the tube close to the lens for it to focus on the label.

“Since having the babs I’ve been breakin’ out a lot more because they like to put their dirty lil’ hands all over my face, so my wife recommended this one to me. If I’m carryin’ ‘em and their excited about something they like to smack their hands about, and most of the time they end my smacking my face.” Despite rolling his eyes and shaking his head, he could not stop a fond smile from creeping onto his face.

As he lathers his cleanser onto his face, the bathroom door opens and y/n walks in whilst typing on her phone.

“H, did your mum get back to you about the –“

“Honey, I’m filming,” he says, quickly reaching forward to angle the camera so that his wife, who was just in his shirt and underwear, was out of frame.

Immediately freezing on the spot, y/n looks up from her phone alarmed. She sheepishly mutters, “Sorry, H,” and creeps out of the bathroom backwards.

“That was the woman who taught me everything I know about skincare everyone,” he says to the camera with a proud grin. “Now, let’s wash this stuff off shall we.” He reframes the shot and ducks his head down to rinse off the cleanser.

Reemerging with a towel, he says with his eyes still closed, “Only pat your face, don’t rub it dry.” As he tosses the towel aside, he adds softly, “My wife taught me that as well.”

He wipes his toner over his face and launches into a little rant about how he isn’t sure that toners do anything. And as he stands fanning his face with his hands, a loud wail can be heard. Moving on instinct, Harry immediately pokes his head out the bathroom door and shouts, “Do you need me lovie?”

“I got it H, it’s just the one bab. I’m going to give her a bottle.”

“Sorry, let me check on the other baby. You can edit round this bit,” he tells the camera, before darting out with his headband still on. When he gets back, he wipes imaginary sweat off his forehead with an exaggerated huff. “My wife’s got it handled everyone, nothing to worry about.”

“We’re almost done everyone. My routine is actually only three steps but it’s taken me” – he takes a peak at the time on his phone – “oof, twenty five minutes to get through two steps for some reason. Right, let’s slap on some moisturiser so I can get in bed with my wife.”

Silently, Harry picks up a tub of moisturiser and holds it up as if he was doing an infomercial. With big, exaggerated movements, he dabs the product all over the face, then rubs it in slowly. Once he is done, he whips of the headband and makes a show of shaking out his hair.

“That’s it, pretty simple. I am officially unready and ready for bed. I hope you guys had fun watching me put stuff on my face, and um, enjoy the rest of tour. Goodnight.” He signs off with another smile and wave.

Harry slips out of his on-camera persona and turns all the equipment off. He exits the bathroom to see y/n already tucked under the thick duvet, face illuminated by her phone. Taking off his robe, his lips form a pout as he slowly makes his way to the bed.

Looking up at his, y/n coos, “Aw, did my baby have a hard day at work, washing your face for camera?”

“Shut up, I missed you.” He crawls under the duvet and immediately curls around y/n, his head taking residence on her chest. “Did Darce give you a hard time?”

She puts her phone down and starts running her fingers through his hair. “No, she was an angel. Went right to sleep after I fed her.”

Snuggling closer, Harry buries his face further into her chest. “My perfect chunky girl,” he hums, voice muffled.

With one last kiss to the top of his head, they exchanged goodnights and slowly fell asleep, content with the life they had built for themselves.

hey actually fuck whatever everyone else wants i wanna talk about The Post asdkakhsdsa this is gonna be kinda long and i'm so fucking sorry

so for context to anyone who follows me who DOESN'T know about it The Post is this post that someone made where they took screenshots of me replying to someone in the notes of another post

and i wanna talk about it! partly cause it was super fucking funny that this even happened and i haven't been able to stop thinking about it but also maybe anyone who comes to my blog because they were curious about who i am can check this post out and get proper context to everything

before i keep going i wanna get a few things out of the way real quick in no particular order:

not that i think that anyone following me would do this but don't bother the OP- i know who he is i've reblogged his posts before i have a general vibe of who he is so i know that he wasn't necessarily posting it for the sake of like. anyone harassing me can't speak for whether or not that applies to the other person but i would assume not).

going along with that when i first found out about The Post it had less than 1k but i could tell it was gonna really rack up those notes really really fast and i had to very quickly make peace with the fact that 1. statistically speaking at least one person was gonna see it and not think of me as the Good Guy in the situation/were also gonna consider me just as much of a weird obnoxious idiot or whatever and 2. that as most viral tumblr posts do it was gonna reach out of bounds at some point- all that being said no one so far has went out of their way to bother me and i genuinely appreciate it! peace and love on planet earth. :)

with all that said here's the background behind what happened: late March i was going through someone's blog and came across this post:

(the main reason i wanna show the post that this all happened on is because without any context and just going off of what this person said people assumed that they were being weirdly transphobic which isn't the case! they were actually being weirdly homophobic! but also if that had actually been the case it still would've panned out the same way. i said what i said and i stand by it.)

posts like these are some of my favorite posts on here because 9/10 there're people in the replies/comments just leaving the most absolutely shit takes you ever seen and i've made a habit of going into them to look out for those people and block them which is what i was doing when i saw that person's reply- the truth is that i honestly didn't intend to reply with what i said! what i was gonna reply was actually wayyyyyyyy dumber: because they were being specifically homophobic my dyke ass was gonna spin what they said into an "hey just so you know i fucked your mom lol" comeback. because i'm 5.

obviously that didn't happen; i had spent a weird chunk of time trying to actually construct my reply multiple times and NONE of them were coming out in a way that made sense and sounded actually funny to me. and the more time i spent trying to construct it the more time i had to actually sit with and reread and take in what this person said. and after a certain point i got to a stage that i usually get with people like ter/fs where i say to myself "oh my God what is this person's fucking problem" and just like i always do when i'm at that point with anyone else i decided that before i finally just block them and move on i wanna go on their blog and see what they're about- this usually ends up in me seeing that their posts are just basically the same shit opinions that i just saw; other times it's stuff like hypersexual fanart of anime schoolgirls occasionally broken up with posts talking about how sad and lonely they are (bidoof's law in full effect); but other than a post they made where they used the r slur while talking about them being pissed off over tumblr's pikaman posts that you can never get rid of i honestly wasn't finding anything . . . until i got to this ask that they posted, which i directly quote in my reply to them:

(i'm not linking it because like. fuck this person. but i'm still slightly conflicted about giving anyone a direct link to just do whatever they feel like doing to them. if anyone asks i'll either add a link or give it to them directly but for now whether you wanna take my word on this screenshot being unedited or not is 100% up to anyone reading this. i won't be mad if you don't believe me.)

i found this post pretty easily; this person as far as i can tell isn't very active on here so there actually weren't a lot of posts that i had to scroll through to get here- i'd say it was maybe like 5 minutes max. not even. and i bring this up because some people assumed that i was searching up specific keywords to collect evidence or whatever which. to be 100% fair! is something that i do when i'm trying to sus out whether someone that i come across is actively or cryptically homophobic or transmisogynistic or neo-fascist/alt-right. when it comes to anyone else i genuinely don't have anywhere near enough of an interest to actually do this. not to mention that tumblr's search function barely works and i have genuinely no idea if it'll actually bring anything up if you try to search nsfw terms specifically since the whole porn ban happened.

and it mean that's basically it! for anyone reading this who wants to know why i replied to them: they annoyed me and i have the freedom to fire back at them for better or for worse.

for anyone who wants to know why i chose that ask specifically: other than the fact that it was just the first heinous posts of theirs that i saw? adults (which i assume this person is) who are weirdly sexual about minors fictional or not weird me the fuck out and i don't stand by that shit. especially people who brag about it even jokingly. again: i said what i said.

for anyone who wants to know why i worded my reply the way i did: because i thought it would be funny. like come on. i sounded like the world's worst Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney prosecutor. someone tagged that post with "what in the Better Call Saul . . ." and it was so fucking funny. had me cry laughing.

for anyone who wants to know if i'm surprised that someone posted my reply to this person and why: firstly yea i kinda was! secondly much like how you don't realize how much noise you're making in your own home because you forgot that after a certain point people outside can hear you until you like. have the police showing up with a noise complaint. i too in the moment completely forgot that tumblr is, in fact, a completely public website and that people can see what you say even if it's completely by chance. i was so committed to my own stupid little bit that i honestly wasn't even thinking about it. what's done is done tho there's nothing i can do about it at this point.

uhhhhhhh i don't know how to actually end this post . . . um stay healthy and safe! remember to eat good food and drink water! if you haven't indulged yourself in a hobby in a while you should go do that! maybe listen to a long video essay on a topic you've never consumed any information on while you do chores and learn something new! think on the last time you told people important to you that you love and appreciate them and then go do that! mwah mwah.

Some people are expecting commentary from me, but I’ve been super busy lately. When I’m like this, I like to only talk about things I haven’t seen other people saying.

So I liked Kuro Neko a lot. It was very solid imo and I appreciate the alternation between episodes where a ton of action happens (Ephemeral, Penalteam) vs episodes where the two dorks just kinda talk to each other and not much happens heroes-vs-villains-wise (Glaciator 2.0, Kuro Neko). Commentary speed run: Adrien pajamas hell yeah finally, wtf Nathalie out of bed? Good for her but ouch those braces. Rhythm (is that her real name?) was super cute and wholesome as a “villain”, and I love the senti. Lastly, Plagg is awesome at drawing?

But here’s what I wanted to talk the most about.

CT’s favorite thing: new heroes

The almost-last batch of my blorbos have arrived so clearly I stared at screenshots of all of them for 48 hours and noticed some stuff. I would like to point out that these 48 hours also let me go through what I call The Five Stages of New Hero Grief aka getting over the instant repulsion people feel upon seeing their designs for the first time and learning to love and accept them.

Between his ram-like original concept and the antelope-like final Caprikid, I don’t think Nathaniel actually knows what a goat is? My manga rec for him is one of those baby picture books about different types of animals. Now that I’ve gotten used to him, I actually like his suit. It reminds me of Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3. I feel like I’d like him waaaay more if his hair was different, though. It throws me off that it’s so similar to its usual style, even if it’s a little different, so any sort of more noticeable change would’ve made him look more natural. Idk why his paintbrush would have golden metal if everything on him is silver, but oh well.

Sabrina looks just about how I expected her to. I totally called it that she would have a hat. I’ll talk about her design more when I get to that image of her standing upright ‘cause this angle sucks, but I think the marble-designed ball on her chest could be her tool. If her power has to do with tracking, maybe she’ll be useful in tracking down the original, non-clone Penalty who has the actual akumatized object on her.

Minotaurox my beloved. Everyone’s saying that they see his suit as black, but I see it as navy blue? It’s a kinda desaturated color compared to most of the other suits, but he’s still all blue? (Trust me, I have perfect color vision). I like the way his mask is, it’s new and interesting. I also love the big cargo pockets. Practical. I think the puffy part around his shoulders is supposed to be like an ox yoke. His boots kinda confuse me ‘cause cloved hooves like that could never work irl but I guess it’s just part of the magic. I feel like his normal hair works well with his design because his suit is pretty reminiscent of Ivan’s usual clothes with the cargo pockets, boots, dark colors, and not a lot of details or flashiness. That’s why Nathaniel’s bothers me a little, since his clothes, on the other hand, looks so different from his usual self.

Marc looks fantastic. Glad to finally see an HD image because now we can see the gold trim which is awesome. I like his little scarf, I love his tail, and somewhat unpopular opinion but I love his hair. I’m mixed on the shoes. They make sense, and I always prefer designs being heavily influenced by the animal traits over “this looks good”, so I can’t complain, but how is he gonna kick a soccer ball without wrecking it? I guess it’s a magic ball idk. Super important detail that I haven’t seen anyone talk about: is it just me, or does he have earrings in his left (our right) ear? If you zoom in, it looks like he does. Bunnyx twins? In the picture below, I noticed that his feathers aren’t flat to his chest like I previously thought.

There are four heroes whose animals have hooves, yet zero of them have hoof prints on the bottom of their shoes. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

What I want everyone to look at is the glimpse we have of Ivan’s back. I think his tool’s on there, but what is it? It’s pretty big. Big hammer? Musical instrument? Idk

One thing I do appreciate is that they didn’t go pussy mode with the horns. If the character designers were cowards, they could’ve easily given us Minotaurox and Caprikid with tiny stubs, but they did not, and for that I am grateful.

First glimpse of Marc’s tool. They changed it from a fountain pen type thing to a quill, but they way he’s holding it makes it look kinda like a combat knife lol. Like in Hack-San, when most of the kids got brainwashed by Robustus, Marc is one again standing in the middle and a bit in front of all the other side characters, and he’s the one speaking for them. This is some consistent new development since it happened twice, and it makes me wonder how important he’s going to become because he was so irrelevant in previous seasons, but he’s changed a lot in s4. I think he’s probably the “beloved character with a big role coming up, like more than this character has ever spoken before” that Ezra Weisz talked about once in a tik tok.

Sabrina looks way cuter in this image than in the trailer imo. Her suit is similar to her normal clothes in that 70s-like aesthetic. Another important thing that nobody’s talking about: is it just me or does she have glasses in this shot? Zoom in on her mask. It looks like she has frameless oval glasses, but I can’t tell if they’re there or not in the trailer shot. If I’m seeing what I think I’m seeing, I like them a lot. They’re cute, and it’s nice to see a girl with glasses not lose them for “aesthetic reasons”. The white part on her chest/belly is a heart aww. Her boots look like those tall schoolgirl type socks, and that plus the shorts, beret, and glasses has a huge vintage prep vibe.

I bet Ladybug is drawing out a game plan in this scene, but everyone’s expressions are so funny. Every single character could be a different reaction meme.

Last thing: I’m trying to imagine how Ladybug is going to give out all of these miraculous. We know the class starts all together, so it’d be tough to separate them all to individually give them miraculous in different locations later. On top of that, there are four more heroes in three other locations, and they’re probably all supposed to be in class right now. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t explain how they get busted out of class, but in Kuro Neko we see how collecting the miraculous from even four temp heroes is stressful and time consuming for Ladybug. Maybe this is the episode where she’ll start considering making more people/all of them permanent at some point, and maybe even considering that everyone knowing each other’s identities would make things way easier.

That’s all for now. I have no time, but I’m sooo tempted to draw the four of them in fashion inspired by their hero forms waking down the street “late with iced coffee”. I can see the designs in my head already. I hope to see fan art of all four of them, and I really hope the show will develop all of them at least a little this episode.

Authors note: Not really an expert in this writing thing. Started with a cute fun idea and kinda got dark fast. English is not my first language so don't mind the grammar mistakes. Hope you enjoy this read and would appreciate the reblog <3

Summary: She had dressed up as a hero that Halloween. She filmed it, but she did not expect the actual hero to show up on her doorstep. He had seen her, felt connected, but didn't expect her to be different.

The #1 Pro Hero Katsuki Bakugou tried to avoid the so-called Instagram video. Even after all of his friends had been bothering him, even after multiple news sites were investigating the source, even when he heard the girl in the video made her account and location private, even then he wouldn’t watch the video. Still he ended up seeing it. It was the night after an explosive fight with the LoV and there were quite some casualties, he never felt guilty, but tonight he wished he was stronger. He felt like a failure of a #1 pro here. “She’s definitely a fangirl of his, look at her eyes there’s fire in them.” He had heard Kirishima showing the video to Kaminari. He could really use a fan. He needed a way to boost his ego. So he opened his official Instagram account which his assistant managed by the way. The video was sent to him multiple times with no real ties to your actual account and when he pressed on the video he didn’t know what to expect. That’s why he was so surprised by what he saw. He saw a tall girl. She was wearing a skimpy version of his hero suit. The colors and print matched perfectly. They were tight sleeping shorts and a cropped tank top. He didn’t want to look at your body, but for a second he did. He saw your curves, the pouch of your belly where the shorts had twisted. The shoulder length curls framing your face like a crown. It looked so hot. But what looked even hotter was the actual smoke leaving your palms and the way your eyes looked filled with rage. “I can’t stand all these EXTRAS, just DIE!” You screamed into the camera before shooting all your explosives against the camera. The screen turned black and that was it. You could manipulate explosions. You could make it blast. You weren’t Japanese. He could hear that from the way you said his highschool catchphrase, but you sounded so cute saying it. He wanted to find you.

So he did. It took awhile to find you, he had to search for the actual account without being to obvious, but as the #1 pro hero it wasn’t hard to get information. He found out a few things about you:

1) Your name was: y/n

2) You lived in a small town in y/c

3) You were y/o years old

4) The video was made in October.

He watched the video more often than he wanted to. He became obsessed. He even screenshotted parts to have actual pictures of you in that outfit. He even dreamt of having you stand by his side. That fierce explosive girl. So when the day came he could finally meet you he was ready. He took a private plane to your city and it was early morning in February when he knocked at the door. It took longer than he expected. All of the sudden the door opened and there you were. You weren’t the girl from the video. Yeah you kinda looked like her. Same eyes, same skin color, but that was about it. You were still in your pajamas, wearing a bonnet to cover your gorgeous hair and the sleep in your eyes was still visible. He had woken you up. When you realized that the man standing before you was in fact Katsuki Bakugou, #1 pro hero from Japan, you let out a small “Goddammit I don’t speak Japanese. Oh wait sorry mr Bakugo, I err.... didn’t mean to curse.” Katsuki laughed at that. He liked that he made you nervous. “Can I come in, y/n?” He asked. “Wait you know my name? Of course come in, you like coffee or tea? Let me just change real quick.” Katsuki sat at the kitchen bar. You changing took longer than he had expected, but you were obviously making up for the first impression by taking a quick shower. When you finally returned for his coffee. You looked more refreshed, but still not like the angry girl from the video.

Katsuki shrugged:'' I'm here because of your video. I liked it. I like your quirk and that you’re like me...” he didn’t mean to say all that, but he still did. You looked uncomfortable. Started looking at your feet before responding:'' Sir I’m not like you. I don’t have a quirk. I was just showing respect to one of my idols.” Your cheeks started the blush. Katsuki’s voice got louder now:'' BUT why did you dress up like me and use explosives then?!” His screaming startles you for a second, but you weren’t scared. It was visible that Bakugou was intrigued by you. “It was Halloween sir, i made the costume myself and photoshopped the fire in the video. I’d also watched a lot of your old videos to know what to say. I wish I was more like you from time to time, because I tend to be a people’s pleaser and they always end up using me. Seemed fun to be the badass at least once this year.” He couldn’t really be mad at her for that. “Why the skimpy rip off of my hero suit though?” She let out a small giggle. “It was Halloween dummy and it was the first time I had the guts wearing something showing my curves and rolls like that it felt good I guess.” He really didn’t mind her calling him dummy, but still he couldn’t go all soft on her. “Don’t call me that dumbass, it sure looked good to see you like that, so could you show me the photoshop part?” He asked. And so you ended up showing all the work it took to get that exact effect. He watched all the video’s you’d taken, the bloopers, the ugly ones where you were laughing so hard that your whole “DIE '' sounded as an empty threat. He enjoyed seeing you so carefree more than seeing you so mad. He didn’t want to admit it, but he enjoyed his time with you. “Why don’t you put on that outfit again? Maybe we can take our own video?” Why did that sound soooo sexual, did he wanted it to be?” You looked at him with a serious expression. “I think I’m good, it was a halloween outfit and I am more than that girl in a skimpy hero outfit for halloween.” He wanted to respond but she shushed him down. “I am very flattered that you of all people came all the way to see me, but I’m more than a body and you haven’t seen the hate I have gotten from the world for just trying to have some fun as a fuller girl, I don’t need you petty neither your desire for my body. I just wanted to honor my favorite hero. That’s it. So thanks for your visit.” Katsuki didn’t understand what was going on. He couldn't deny seeing you in that outfit being a fan turned him on. But hearing the truth behind your words did sting. ‘’Wait, can I just stay? I didn’t mean it like that. I came all the way here because yes you looked so good with that outfit, but you also reminded me of myself and I liked that.’’ Y/n let out a frustrated sight. ‘’Oh yeah because of that quirk right? well I’m quirkless so we’re basically nothing a like.’’ This made Katsuki feel bad for you. He came closer to grab your hand, but you had already yanked it loose. ‘’UGH dude. I cosplayed you for Halloween, bc you seemed badass, but don’t mistake that for me wanting a quirk. out here in the actual world. where being a hero isn’t the main priority people have actual jobs, we’re not in constant danger and it’s not our mission to risk our life everyday for the sake of others. my life is fine as it is and I don’t appreciate you pittying me for not being a stupid hero.’’ Katsuki didn’t really register the words that spilled off your lips, he did see how angry you looked, the fire in your eyes, the same face you made when you imitated him in that video of yours. Still hearing his life mission being called stupid triggered him. ‘’So just because you can’t be me you call my job stupid. dumb quirkless brat, should’ve never visited your ass. trying to do some fans service and look how ungrateful you are.’’ Now it was her time to get even more pissed. She knew he was an asshole, but he really wasn’t any hero material. ‘’SO MR. PRO HERO NUMBER F*CKING 1. ONLY HAD ONE GOAL IN HIS LIFE, REACHED HIS GOAL AT THE AGE OF 25. WHAT NOW? THAT’S IT? PRETTY BORING IF YOU ASK ME.

YOU’RE RUDE, ARROGANT AND YOU EXPECT ME TO GO ALL BEGGING IN MY TEENY TINY SHORTS JUST TO RUB YOUR F*CKING EGO. YOU’RE NOT THAT SPECIAL.’’ This time all Katsuki felt was rage. how dare this little bitch say shit like this, while he had worked his whole life to achieve his dream. Before he knew it his hands were filled with heat. It was too late he couldn’t take it back he was about to kill her or atleast permanently injure her. She was standing right infront of him. the fear spreading on her face. She lifted her hands to ward off his blasts, but they had already started. She closed her eyes to prepare. Katsuki knew he had made a mistake, everything happened in slow motion, but instead of the powerful feeling he normally got from his blasts he ended up soaking wet. When he focused his gaze he saw you still with your eyes closed. hands in the same position and the last drop of what had to be a water related quirk. He had activated your quirk. He had made you so scared that your body needed a last defense method. when your eyes opened you realized what happened. you didn’t know what to say, you were angry, you were scared and most of all you were shocked. so you did what you were best at. you ran away.

Katsuki didn’t know what to do so he just left.

---------------------------------three months later---------------------------------------------------------

You never threw him under the bus. even months after if you were asked about that fatal scene that got you to awaken your quirk you just blamed it on a wild animal. you did however start a research to see if risks allowed quirks to develop more suddenly. So instead of seeing your Halloween vid on his instagram page, he saw you being a part-time hero in your hometown. Yes, part-time. you had laughed when the interviewer had asked you why you were so focussed on the part-time part. ‘’Well thanks for asking. You know what when I found out that I had this so-called quirk, I wasn’t that happy to be honest. I had survived without it for 23 years. so I wanted to still be me outside of being a hero. I have a normal job outside of this, I don’t want to receive money for being a decent human being and I think relying too much on those quirks causes a lot of damage. I’m not even calling myself a hero, helping people is the bare minimum it’s human decency, not a big corporate way to boost your own ego.’’ The interviewer definitely did not expect that answer. wanting to cause drama the interviewer tried to stir the pot. ‘’ So Y/N this isn’t the first time we see you in action as a hero. last Halloween we saw you in this video, paying tribute to #1 hero Dynamight in what might’ve been the most interesting way to present yourself as a starting hero, do you have any regrets about that video?’’ You smiled a gorgeous smile at the interviewer, but you’re words were poison: ‘’ The fact that an interview about me wanting to raise awareness to actual problems, is actually a means to an end to have me talk about my stomach and butt cheeks showing in a cosplay tells me more than I need to know. It's either the men that sexualize us and our costumes and whenever we try to empower ourselves by looking good, it’s always seen as something to please men. I won’t say anything more,except that I hope that everyone that feels the need to have a quirk to be a hero can stop. you can be a hero without a quirk. I’ve been a hero long before there was freaking water shooting out of my hands and I will remain one even when I’m doing my regular work.’’

The interviewer tried to apologize, but you were already gone. The months after the incident Katsuki had worked even harder than normal, he tried to avoid thinking about your words, about wanting more than being a hero, but hearing you say those words again on international television made it difficult. you were right. and his dumbass was still very much sorry for what he had done.But he needed to go back to sleep he had a long day tomorrow. there was a secret meeting planned by the #2 hero Mr Brat himself: Deku and it had to do with all the slander hero’s had been getting lately. The League of Villains might have disappeared from the radar, but still their message had set root. And wasn’t it exactly what y/n had been saying being a hero shouldn’t be about making money or being a corporate way of boosting your ego.

So the next day just before the meeting started he heard some talking and decided to just listen. ‘’Thanks for inviting me Deku. I know that we don’t agree on everything, but you definitely are a respective hero and I can’t really say anything bad about you.’’ ‘’Y/N you can call me Izuku. It's an absolute pleasure to meet you and I would be lying if I said that I don’t see a lot of truth in your views, that’s why I invited you to this meeting. please don’t be nervous not everyone will agree with what you have to say, but I support you and I think you will be a big reason why everything will be alright in the end.’’ He heard you giggle. ‘’Don’t worry Izuku, a bunch of heroes won’t scare me.’’ Now the two of you were laughing like you were old acquaintances. He hadn’t noticed that the room was already half full by now and he was one of the last to come in. He met your gaze, but saw that you weren’t surprised to see him at all. After sitting down Deku started the meeting. ‘’Well you guys are well aware why we’re all here, even when we’re not part of the same agency we have a common threat and that is the fear the LoV has planted inside of people’s minds. People feel neglected by us, feel looked down upon and as someone who used to be quirkless I can understand how they feel. I’ve brought a special guest from overseas, you might not agree with what she has to say, but she understands our citizens, the one we’re trying to protect so even if you don’t agree with her, you will answer with respect or you will answer to me.’’ As you got up out of your chair. Kirishima proceeded to whisper ‘’Ain’t that that Cosplay girl?’’ but he was hushed by a number of annoyed stares. You took a deep breath and just started talking.

‘’So you guys may wonder why I’m here. Why is there a random 20 something year old girl from overseas telling you about right or wrong. don’t worry I wouldn’t take me seriously too if I were you. My name is y/n and no I don’t have a hero name neither will I get one. Before I’m a ‘hero’ I'm me first. I want you all to think back to the reason you became a hero. Did you become one because your quirk fit the scene, because your friends or idols were heroes, did you become one for the money or because it’s literally the thing this society is built on? If you hadn’t had a quirk would you still become a hero? I know only one person here that would be a hero even without a quirk.’’ She locked eyes with Deku for a moment. ‘’I’m just going to paint a picture about how things look overseas and maybe, maybe you guys will understand how things feel for your citizens. I grew up without a quirk. I worked hard for my money, by getting an education and finding a job and I’ve always valued others above myself. I took first aid classes and I would do charity work still something that’s close to my heart today, but I never called myself a hero. I didn’t need the name, because why would I be idolized if I did something I loved, just because I cared about others? I learned during first aid that your own safety is the most important thing ever, because how could you save someone else when you’re the one that’s in danger? so I took that to heart and started taking better care of myself. looking at this country all I saw were people making a full time job of taking care of others, not taking care of themselves. a big factory made to save people. but often those so called saviors attracted villains. because when people are neglected because a) their quirk is seen as a villainous quirk b) they are quirkless or c) there is nothing ‘’heroic’’ about their quirks they are castaway and when people get desperate they turn to other things such as criminal activity. I don’t want to say it, but I believe you all created this system of heroes vs villains. I believe that if being a hero wasn’t that high paid type of job, wasn’t the best thing one could achieve things would be easier. I’m not saying turn in your cash, i’m not saying stop being a hero or go part time no. I’m saying: take care of yourself first, make sure you understand people’s frustration. labeling someone a villain just because they are misunderstood makes you the villain in their case and most of all remember that above all you are you. Without the suit, without the power would you still help people? Even if it meant cleaning toilets or cooking for someone would you consider that being a hero? I do. I think most of y’all lost track of the real meaning behind being a hero. I see myself as a human not a hero, I’m y/n and if you need help I’m there for you. Thanks for having me.’’

No one had said a thing, but even Katsuki couldn’t read the room. You could see a few tears being spilled from Uravity and Ribbit, you could see the lost in thoughts expressions of Deku and Hawks and you could see a few angry faces. Before the room interrupted though, you stood up once again and said: ‘’I think you all need to discuss this in peace without an outsider. so I’m going to look for some food, if I’m needed Deku will give me a call.’’

Before Katsuki could listen to the discussion that just started to erupt, he’d already walked out and followed you. when you entered the elevator he entered too and after three months you were alone again. He spoke without thinking. ‘’y/n… I am so sorry for what I’ve done to you.’’ You didn’t respond. your back was turned towards him and he had just let go of all his pride and you didn’t respond. He had to grab your arm. He had to make you understand. when he touched your arm you snapped. ‘’Have you had any idea how scared I was of you? Have you ever thought that I thought it was over for me. Killed by a fucking hero who can’t control his anger issues. Killed because you wanted to see me in fucking cosplay.’’ She had drove him in a corner. not only psychical, but also mentality, because she was right. still he remained slightly defensive ‘’I...I….I did like the way you looked, but I did see something of myself in you, that’s why I really came. still I’m an asshole for what I did you’re right.’’ she still wasn’t done though. ‘’Yeah Yeah Yeah, you wanted to see me being all angry. shouting ‘die’ to everyone. wanted to see me in my tiny shorts. probably got off on seeing me so mad.’’ Well shit she had a point, even with the guilt he could still remember how it felt when she had defended herself with her words and with her newly activated quirk. Even now as she was still talking he couldn’t deny how hot she looked. she was mad at him, he was wrong, he was a failure, those things never crossed his mind and still he kinda liked that she told him the truth, because no one ever did. ‘’You know what Bakugou you can DIE.’’ and with that she manipulated water to get straight into his lungs.. He never knew what dying actually felt like, let alone drowning, but here he was gasping for air and realized that the elevator hadn’t moved in a while. She looked at him and he couldn’t recognize her face. she was still speaking though and it took every ounce of power of him to keep listening to it. ‘’I wake up everyday with the thought that you could’ve killed me that day. I am in rage mode 24/7 and I can’t even be the hero I want to be because I’m filled with rage. you destroyed me. and still I wonder why you visited me that day, why you flew at least 10 hours. not just for some booty right? What would the great Dynamight want from me?’’ Then he heard your tears. It was so much worse than your anger. ‘’I thought about you everyday for the past three months. you ruined me and still I thought about the ‘what if’s?’ What if things were different that day…’’ All of the sudden his lungs were empty and while he was gasping for air she sat down next to him. They both knew this wasn’t going to be healthy, but still they couldn’t help it. y/n sighed and whispered ‘’ You’re the worst Bakugou.’’ and he responded: ‘’You’re right.’’ before she crashed her lips into his.

The kiss felt like fire. it spread fast and it definitely was built out of rage. as their lips had collided so did their body’s.There bodies were wet from the manipulated water she had used and both their heroes' costumes clung to their skins, but that didn’t stop them at all. Before she knew it she was on top of him. It felt good, it felt like payback, it felt like a win. She knew it wasn’t like that, she knew this wasn't what she was supposed to do, but still she had to do it. And then just as she felt his dick getting harder there was a sound.

“Don’t worry the elevator will be back working in a minute guys.”

It felt as if ice cold water had been dropped on them. They were both at a loss for words still panting from the rendezvous they just had. There were no words to be said, so what followed was silence.
