HEY! HERE'S THE OFFICIAL INFORMATION THREAD FOR MY TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH REN!

FAQ ::

1 ) Isn't this meant to be a wedding?

Yes and no! Due to my own experiences IRL, both with family and a past relationship, I don't see myself exactly getting married any time soon. That extends to my selfship with cRen! Even if it was a wedding, our relationship doesn't exactly change, if at all. A commitment ceremony simply fits us better. You're more than free to still refer to this as a wedding!

2 ) Are you actually serious with this?

No! While I do love my selfship with cRen, and view it as something important to me, this is all meant to be a fun and lighthearted thing for me as well as a way to celebrate my two year anniversary with my friends.

I should also stress, yet again, that this is all fun with the CHARACTER.

3 ) I want to participate but don't know how. What do you recommend?

Anything really, as long as you are respectful! It can be art of you (and any plus ones) as guests (doodles and fully colored pieces are allowed, don't overthink it as this is meant to be a lighthearted and fun thing)! Well wishes and other things are allowed as well, feel free to ask!

The dress code is anything semi-formal to formal in the designated color palette that I'll include in this thread!

4 ) Is there a deadline for this?

The "main" event day is the 26th of January as that is the anniversary date, and I do plan on posting special themed art for that day, but you are free to post anything during the entire last week of January and early February (26 January - 1 February).

5 ) Is there a specific tag you want us to use for any posts we make for this?

No. I do ask that you tag me so that I can see posts!

Hey, hey! I saw you followed me and was curious to know if you had some sort of tag I could mute/block for your selfship with Ren? He's my main f/o and someone I don't exactly like sharing, unless the other person has a tag for me to block. I myself use "#bogeybeast🖤🐶". I just wanted to come in and ask for this as a precaution!! /gen

This is some more fun information before the anniversary...in a cute template form!!

I imagine the two of us would've had a hard time picking just one person as our attendants and went with two each in the end. We chose the people we did due to how important they are to us individually and wanted them to feel appreciated as well. Ren chose Doc and False as they're his closest friends and family while I chose @tsun-toast and @sawasourjuice. When it came to the theme of the ceremony and reception, we decided on a blend of dark academia and romantic academia as both felt fitting to our relationship and where it started without going into any sort of royal themes for personal reasons. While there would be a more general dessert table at the reception, our own personal cake would be tiramisu as it's our shared favorite! Our first dance being to either Escapism or Heart to Heart is intentional. I've been through a lot. A lot I, or anyone really, should ever have to go through. It's why I even began selfshipping with Ren as I needed an outlet to explore my complex feelings about all of it. These same feelings embedded themselves into this relationship and made it into what it is today. Both songs, to me at least, reflect the challenges and overall changes during the past two years in one way or another.

So there's a yume/selfship prompt list I'm sort of following for the month of October, and the first day was "first meeting". I used this as an excuse to redraw the first piece of selfship art I ever drew with Ren since it actually depicted our first-time meeting.

Today marks one and a half years with my darling boyfriend, c!Rendog! I've changed so much since then and for the better. I do plan on writing more about that once we hit two years, but I will say that I'm so grateful for him.

To commemorate this occasion, I have some art AND an updated yume/selfship intro for us!!

I drew me surrounded by his GigaCorp, default, and King Ren outfits based on the yume/selfship meme my mutual posted HERE. I chose these three as they are the ones that I personally love the most and have felt most affected by.

F/OVEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT!!

I'm choosing to participate in F/OVember as a way to relax and keep my mind off of things.

The tldr for this event, from what I am told, is that it is simply my f/os (the characters I selfship with) taking over some asks and the like and answering for me. In other words, I'll be roleplaying as my partners!!

Hello!! My name is Verna, and I am a selfshipper! I do want to note that I am mostly nonsharing with my f/os (Ren and Caine), but I am selective with Guzma.

I've been selfshipping since 2021 but haven't been public until 2023. I primarily selfship due to comfort and trauma from a past abusive relationship.
