There not perfect since I can't just cover Sin's whole floor in clothes, the wall next to Gingers bed is supposed to be covered with sticky notes and Red's room is defiantly not filthy enough, but its the sims 4 so I'll work with there limitations.

“We want a Dan and Phil podcast” “we want more of Phil’s northern anecdotes”
Wrong!
What I need is a podcast from the person who was working their shift at spirit Halloween and had to find an adult baby costume, a cow onesie, and a human crayon in size extra tall for two British weirdos and their emotional support neon skeleton

Sell Your SOUL*
Tea Type: Coffee
Potential Triggers: Mildly dubious consent for hypnosis
Pairing: Baggs/Reader
Length: 2.7+
Summary: You are a Human who opens an Empath clinic for monster kind; giving them a safe place to let out any emotions they may be feeling. Unlike the clinical and typically detached touch of therapists, you mirrored their emotions back at them, telling them what you felt, gently whenever possible and occasionally harshly if they refused to acknowledge their pain. Alphys finally allows you to meet Baggs, the one you know let them be released in the first place and you find yourself enraptured...he's just as curious about you. Oops. So much for keeping your distance. An interested doctor is a determined one. Hopefully it'll pay off.
After all...
Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.
Tumblr media
It didn't take him long to notice. You tried though.
God, did you try.
You did everything possible to avoid looking at him when he did it. Actually, it was more like you found an excuse to leave altogether the second it began happening.
Becoming friends with monsters was something that came easily to you, being an Empath. Feeling others' pains and helping them through it in any way you could was what you were used to, and loved doing and none needed it more than Monsters when they came to the Surface. While Humans didn’t even consider Empaths real, Monsters had informed you it was actually a well-known and documented form of healing magic that Human’s once possessed long ago. With their help and support you'd even managed to open your own little practice, mainly catering to Monsterkind. Toriel has been the gateway to meeting everyone, but they all had such pain hidden within that you tried to help with. General had been no exception, nor had Undyne, Asgore or Alphys. Alphys...was how you ended up meeting him and experiencing his ability first hand.
-----
Instantly a chill went up your spine. A subconscious warning from your intuition that you should be careful, despite Alphys' introduction.
"Th-This is Baggs! He's really only allowed here for research, a-a-and his home of course, which is w-why you've never met him before on our outings, but t-truth be told, I'd say he spends more time here than home. Always hard at w-work on some e-e-experiment."
Her voice was light and chipper, but you'd come to know her well enough to see the signs of discomfort, the slight tremble of her voice, the stutter that slipped out here and there, and, perhaps most notably, the way she was very carefully avoiding looking Baggs in the eye, despite the skeleton looking directly at her
"I'll l-leave you two to get acquainted and make some tea and snacks alright? I'll be j-j-just in the other room!"
A warning for him and a reassurance for you.
Ouch.
You winced at the literal sting that went to your SOUL, quick and barely there as you pasted on a smile and nodded at her.
"Sure thing, Alph. I'm sure we'll be fine. I'm not worried."
She smiled despite it trembling at the edges and you felt her relax some before she was gone in a swish of fabric.
"not worried? heh. that's cute, for someone who hasn't deigned to meet my gaze yet. scared, little human?"
You weren't sure what you expected his voice to sound like but it certainly wasn't that. Dark, inviting, damn near on the cusp of being outright seductive while somehow still emanating danger.
You shivered and he snickered again.
You swallowed hard, and then you met his gaze, pushing through the shivers you'd just gotten and instead focusing on the pain you felt coming off of him in waves.
"Actually, I was just waiting for you to introduce yourself. I guess I should've gone first though, huh? Sorry. I'm pretty shy on first meetings, the lack of eye contact has to do with that, not because of what you did. If I was scared I wouldn't be here at all."
His expression didn't change but you felt how he was slightly taken aback, then the apprehension and finally the slight twinge of mischievous glee just beneath the surface.
You withdrew your Empathy just a tad. You didn't like going deep into what everyone was feeling without their permission, but you'd accidentally let your guard go up thanks to nervousness.
His eyes were just as pretty as you'd heard. Pink glowed vibrantly from his left eye as he drew closer, smile unflinching.
"you're certainly quite bold for a human. heh heh. or maybe just naive judging by that adorable blush on your cheeks."
You looked away briefly to try and collect yourself, huffing as you realized he was right. You were so focused on feeling your cheeks and calming yourself down you didn't even register your SOUL had been gently pulled from your chest until its purple glow was in front of you.
"hm. that explains it then. but what's-"
His browbones went down in concentration and confusion as he attempted to reach for your SOUL but you were already reacting, swiftly pulling it back into your chest protectively.
"No! I-please. Don't."
His once mildly friendly demeanor had turned to full on mistrust and you could see it from the blue starting to swirl in his left eye socket without any need for your Empathy.
"what are you hiding, little human?"
You merely shook your head, retreating slowly towards the door but you yelped as it abruptly closed without any input that you could see, whirling to see it slam.
You heard a whistle and when you jerked back, Baggs waved the remote with an eerie grin.
Oh, how the tables had turned.
"No offense, sir, but my SOUL isn't any of your business."
His smile widened, yet somehow he only seemed more menacing despite the even, soothing steps he took towards you. They echoed, perfectly in sync and never faltering. His tone sounded genuine but you could feel the underlying condescension and mocking.
"well that's not very nice of you, now is it? i thought you wanted to be friends. i'm merely curious. perhaps i can even help "
You gasped as your back hit the door and he easily caught your chin between his phalanges, and tilted your head to make you look at him, blue and pinknow both swirling evidently in his left eye. his voice was a purr.
"and please, do call me baggs. i much prefer to be referred to with the appropriate amount of reverence when that name is used, and i’ve no doubt you will use it…but not quite yet."
You felt...oddly heavy and the urge to squirm and shiver was palpable. What was happening? You knew you needed to look away, you had to, or else he was going to-
Well, what was the worst he could do? Alphys was just in the other room after all. She'd hear you if anything bad happened. Besides, Baggs was nice. He was handsome. He just wanted to help.
Why were you being so resistant again?
Resistant? Now why would you do that? Baggs was your friend. Don't you confide in your friends?
You searched for something, anything.
Grasped, struggled, for something to lock on to.
Something to feel-
Pure, sadistic, addictive, control
You awoke out of your trance with a gasp violently breaking away from Baggs' grip on your chin before cradling your head, hands shaking, eyes slammed shut and face turned away.
"Don't do that a-again."
You chattered a little, still shivering from the aftershocks of ecstacy forced into you. At least he hadn’t forced you to do anything.
"guess everyone is scared of something after all, hm? pity. i think you're cute when you're all helpless like that, you know. even scared as you are now you're adorable."
Your face lit in flame and the words were the spark you needed to lunge for the door again with a gasp, suddenly recalling the manual switch on the side and nearly bolting out in your haste.
When did you forget? Just how long had he been in your head?
Baggs' alluring laughter followed you all the way to the exit, as did his final words to you.
"see you soon, little human."
-----
Despite your...intense first meeting he hadn't made any effort to antagonize you since when you began seeing him again. He acted as if nothing had happened in fact, merely smiling your way and returning to chatting with Toriel nearby as if you'd had a normal meeting.
Alphys, the only other person who knew vaguely what had happened, as she’d ran out after you, merely sighed.
"A word of advice from someone who's k-known him and worked with him. Don't let him get to you. Or at least, don't let h-h-him know he's g-gotten to you. And...try not to let him do it a-again. It'll just-"
Her voice had quieted conspiratorially with every sentence but she was cut off as familiar bony arms latched around both of your shoulders.
"It'll just what, al?"
His voice was bright but you felt the anger ebbing off him in waves and Alphys abruptly smiled shakily, turning to him in an attempt to not seem afraid.
"you wouldn't happen to be talking about me would ya? haven't ya ever heard-"
"Actually, sounds to me like you misunderstood. You're not interesting enough to warrant talking about Baggs, hate to break it to you. We were talking about a game character. Jeez, are you always so self-centered~?"
Your tone was teasing but your light glare of warning for him trying to frighten Alphys into silence was evident. He didn't seem concerned.
"with a face this handsome? can ya really blame me? anyway, what game? sounds fun."
Alphys was sweating nervously, staring at you wide-eyed but you were quick on your feet.
"Nathan Prescott from Life is Strange. It's choice based, so it's important to not let him know he gets to you or frightens you when he defaces your room in game with a threat. After all, what good is a threat if you don't let yourself be affected by it?"
His eyes lit up then, and you swore you saw his swirl start up, along with the growl that left his lips but Alphys distracted you both by pulling you away.
"Speaking of, I just remembered! We forgot to save! Come on, before Undyne changes the game without realizing!"
You were so proud of her for not stuttering that you missed the swirling eyes following your exit, before he looked down at the object clutched in his digits.
Your phone was held in his grasp, his grin widening as he noticed you didn't have a password.
silly girl.
-----
It didn't take you long to realize your phone was missing, and you told Alphys to go on ahead, and that you'd hang with her later on in the week. Papyrus' car was gone by the time you made it back so he must've gone to drop Toriel and Frisk back home Of course it'd started raining so you were damn near soaked as you knocked.
A few moments later the door opened to a surprised, and then amused Baggs.
"back so soon? told you I was irresistible."
You shook your head, shivering a bit more intensely, making Baggs' eyes immediately scan your body before he grew business-like and moved to walk away.
"come inside, i will make you something warm and then you may take a hot shower. i shall lend you some of my clothes so you do not get sick."
You blinked and then hesitantly entered and nodded, just as you sneezed. Better trust him than get sick right? He was a doctor. He'd been bearable lately; maybe your first meeting had just been a test and you'd passed?
By the time you reached the kitchen he was already setting down a steaming mug in front of you.
"i'll go and get my clothes together. sit tight, and be sure to drink that entirely. it would be a pity if your stubbornness made you ill."
You watched him turn and leave before looking down at the drink in your hands, contemplative. A sip confirmed it was tea, sweet, somehow just as you took it. Paps must've told him about how you always had a mug in your hand. The slight tingle as it went down your throat confirmed it must've been a tea infused with monster magic, which you attributed to be the reason for the extra sweet aftertaste as well. You continued to drink as you let your thoughts take you.
Perhaps General had been right. He'd sensed your nervousness when you'd next seen Baggs while baking cookies with him and had reassured you that his brother was just untrusting of people he didn't know but would warm quickly. Maybe you'd been wrong to be so scared. The propaganda was everywhere; warning of his danger and perhaps you'd taken some of it in subconsciously.
You stifled a yawn and inhaled sharply as when you went to stand and move you swayed; making you grip the table tightly. Familiar fear rushed to the forefront of your mine, one you were used to having around Humans but never with monsters. No. He couldn't have-
"you alright there pet? you're looking a little pale."
His worry was evident and you couldn't help the slight tone of accusation as you sluggishly looked towards him, still not able to move, even as a pleasant shiver shot down your spine at the new nickname..
"What was in that tea?"
He blinked, before a slow smile broke across his face and he casually strode over.
"just a little something to calm you down. the warmth will spread through your system faster if you're calm."
"Why didn't you tell me first then? Or better yet ask? You have to know how this makes you look."
Fuck. Your words were slurring a little, your lips tingling in an almost numb, but not quite way. Everything felt so…hazy.
"how what looks? Giving my shivering friend a warm drink and tucking her into bed, so I know she's safe? it's not as if I drugged you. even small doses of my magic can help soothe. I suppose I overestimated how much you could take, human."
He chuckled, his amusement evident, but you swore you detected worry in his eyes.
"i doubt you can take a shower in this state. come. i'll give you my clothes, leave you to change and then get you settled."
"But- I have to go home."
You tried to protest, struggling to think clearly.
"well, I'm not letting you leave in this state. i'd walk you home if I could but...heh. pretty sure my bro would lose it if i left and he found out later I played hooky. best give in."
You frowned at that, glaring at him as you made to move towards the door.
"Good thing it's not your choice then-"
You were cut off as you were whirled to face him when he grabbed your arm, your equilibrium way off as you struggled to focus on the skeleton in front of you. By the time you realized you were looking directly into his eyes it was too late. That feeling from last time washed over you, blue joining the magenta and spiraling outward. You couldn't deny you felt oddly...safe, and the feeling of his phalanges carding through your hair as you slumped into him was nice.
Baggs is safe, Baggs won't hurt me. Why...am I so tired?
"that's it, good girl. doesn't it feel nicer when you give in?"
Feels...nice. Sleepy. Safe.
You nodded weakly, your filter which would typically make you deny on instinct completely gone. You blushed at your admission and felt Baggs chuckle beside your ear.
"you really do fall quickly for me. how curious. come, let's get you into bed, hm?"
You felt yourself moving and when you all but crumbled into the bed after quickly changing into clothes you didn't bother looking at, you were out like a light to the soothing feeling of bone carding through your hair.
You didn't even hear his parting words before slipping off into unconsciousness.
"what was that you said? what good is a threat if you don't let yourself be affected by it? i think you're right, pet. actions speak louder than words, wasn't that the analogy?"
-----
A/N: There's the first chapter, finally out into the world! So, funnily enough; I've had this fic near done for 2 years now, but just been petrified to publish it for some reason. I think I was panicking over not nailing Baggs as a character well enough, in particular, as well as the way he speaks. Still, I'm glad it's out there now and I can start working on the second chapter- I really hope you all enjoy it!
Please do tell me what you thought; it keeps me writing and motivated as an author!
This fic and also be found at https://archiveofourown.org/works/47766418/chapters/120411676
The amazing (and flustering) Megalosomnia belongs to @megalommi! Please go and shower her in love and adoration <3 This fic would not exist without her!
This is a fic set after Megalosomnia's characters have reached the surface. It's very much non-canon! I don't even believe the creator has brainstormed this portion yet so this is all just me spitballing and having fun with it!

Soul Experiment AU: Experiment 041: Ink
Thanks for the support on my previous post about this au!! Since Ink and Error are going to be the "main" characters in this au. I thought I would start with them. I have more ideas on what to do with Ink though so we're starting with him. I'm going to do a poll after this so you guys can decide who I post about next. I'm planning on posting about one character per day as well as posting about my magic/soul system and then I'll work on some other stuff for this au like maybe a fanfic if enough people like it. (I'm also aware of how badly this is written, it's hard to fit all the details in this post alone. There will be separate posts about each character that take the form of Error's "Scientific Entries" but I wanted to go for a more narrative format here. Once again, ask box is open if you need clarification on anything here. I will answer even if I plan on including it in another post.)
To begin with, Ink actually has a Soul in this au, but it just doesn't work properly. Monster Souls work as both the heart, brain, and all other organs that would normally be present in the body of a Human. The "brain" functions of Ink's soul do not function properly, as his soul does not produce the magic needed for emotions and motor functions. This is where Error comes in.
Ink was taken to the lab to be used as a subject for experiments under the name "John Doe" as he had no identification, probably no family, and it was thought that he was fallen down, and that there was no hope for him. Ink was exactly what Error was looking for in a subject, a skeleton monster, fallen down so his soul must be in a deteriorative state, and he was completely unresponsive to any and all stimuli. This made him the perfect subject for Error to test the different ways he was going to wake up Geno.
Once Ink arrived to the lab, however, and Error got to do a proper examination of the nameless shorter skeleton, he came upon a problem. This Monster... wasn't fallen down. Sure, he was unresponsive in a way that was incredibly similar to the coma-like state of a fallen Monster, but it was different. Ink's soul was completely intact and undamaged, and so was his body, his HP and all other stats were completely fine, so what the hell was wrong with the subject?
Error called in the Joku twins, Dream and Nightmare, both coming from a family of Monsters with emotion-based abilities, both brothers being the last of the line and with the strongest recorded abilities. They sensed... Nothing? There was no emotional output from the nameless skeleton's Soul whatsoever, or even any emotional input, since neither of the twin's auras had any effect. This is where the experimentations began.
First line of business was to identify the problem. A Monster's Soul is similar to an organ, yes, but also so much more complex. Was the problem within the emotional magic portion of this Monster's Soul? Or was there another underlying problem that was causing it? If this Monster truly did lack the ability to produce emotions in his Soul, so much so that he was in a vegetative state, then how was he alive? How had he lived to be around the same age as Error? The scientist shook his head, 'I have more urgent things to worry about with this subject.'
A breakthrough. There was a breakthrough in Error's research that he had never seen coming. He had figured out how to isolate the emotional magic in a Monster's Soul. More importantly, he had figured out how to extract it. It wasn't a nice process, the Monster's had to be fully alive and aware during the extraction, which was incredibly painful and had lead to the death of many subjects, but it was incredible. If Error could manage to directly transfer magic from one monster to another, he could very well do similar with Human Soul traits or even entire souls.
However, this had to be tested first.
The original trial of Ink's colors is one of the few he can actually remember. He woke up on a cold metal stretcher with a bunch of machines making noise around him. His whole body felt weird and heavy. He was feeling emotions at the time, yes, but also didn't feel quite right. Like something was missing or that he didn't have enough of something. This was, of course, due to Error only providing a low dosage to start with, in case anything went wrong. Ink, of course, didn't know that, nor did the notice the glitchy skeleton wearing a lab coat that was sitting in the corner of the room, observing quietly and taking notes.
Ink blacked out again within two hours.
There was lots of testing done after that. The first trial was called that for a reason, after all.
Error introduced himself properly to the shorter skeleton by the time of the second test, seeing how the subject would respond to another person, which was met with overwhelming enthusiasm and then a puddle of vomit on his shoes.
That was a problematic side effect.
The main problem with harvesting emotional magic is that each emotion has to be harvested individually, and each is a different color. This was a problem because no particular label was given to any color, so testing each color and then recording the results was the most probable solution. Followed by giving more or less to see what dosage was the right one. There may or may not be a particularly ripped page in a notebook that desperately outlines the dangers of an intense amount of red.
Every time a test was conducted, Error would ask a series of questions to see if the influence of different concoctions would yield different answers, but also to learn more about the individual with the strangely marked bones. Oddly enough. Ink had no memory of a time before waking up in the lab, and never remembered anything that happened between tests. The memory problems were consistent, unfortunately, however not on the level of amnesia that was previously suffered. "Ink" is a chosen name, based on the markings on his face and the rest of his body.
Months passed and eventually Subject 041, or "Ink" as he had chosen to be called, was functioning as properly as an individual with a malfunctioning soul could. Going outside the lab was an option now, and Ink does regularly. He carries around vials full of each color (He decided that ingesting it was much easier than the injection method being used prior) but still lives within the lab as it is the source of his ability to feel and is where most of his companions live. (Getting to see and bother Error on a daily is a plus too.)

Note
Skeleton is waiting for S/O inside his car. Suddenly, a perfect stranger opens the door and invites themself in, starting to complain about random things. They then notice they're in the wrong car and leave in a hurry, apologizing.
I swear I answered something similar before but I can't find it :'), so uh, here you go again I guess.
Undertale Sans - His mind goes blank from shock and he just... stares in confusion. What? Before he can even process what's happening, the person apologizes and flees the car. ... Did he dreamt all of this? He's not sure. That was weird.
Undertale Papyrus - "HUM... EVEN IF I AM VERY GLAD TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS... WHO ARE YOU AGAIN?" The guy freezes, then opens and closes his mouth like a goldfish. Papyrus is a little concerned and asks them if he can drive them somewhere because they seem a little too much in shock to go home by themselves. S/O is so confused why there's a random guy looking like a trapped rabbit in the back of the car when they're coming back.
Underswap Sans - Ok, that's very funny. What is even more amusing is that it's a police car. How the hell did you possibly mess up your car and his? He can't stop laughing long after they're gone. When S/O returns, he can't breathe anymore, just wheezing whenever you say something to him. You're a little concerned.
Underswap Papyrus - He squeezes himself against his own door, looking like a deer in the lights of a car. Honey is terrified and he has no idea what to say. He just T-poses, his eyes frantically searching for his S/O outside. He needs help. Please. When the guy finally leaves, he is so relieved he wants to cry. S/O is confused as to why he just jumps at their neck for a cuddle the second they're back. He needs his emotional support human right now.
Underfell Sans - "uh, t'hell ya're doing?" he says with a cavernous voice that makes the poor stranger jumps out of his bones. As they run away, Red smirks evilly, glad his big voice is still working. Well, with strangers. He tries it on S/O the second they're back and they just kiss him answering the same tone. He doesn't know if he should feel offended.
Underfell Papyrus - He growls, frowning. Intruder. An intruder in his own car. Are you trying to steal his car? He's so confused when as soon as you see him, you throw yourself out of the car and crawls away as fast as you can. What kind of thief is this? He didn't even threaten you yet. That's quite pathetic. He's mad he didn't get his epic fight and puts dark metal on the car radio at full volume to show his unhappiness.
Horrortale Sans - He just tilts his head, confused. Did he forget something? That's embarrassing. He has no idea who you are and just plays along as the guy says he's sorry he's late but that he's ready to make his taxi course now. Oak is even more confused when the guy starts the car... You're trying to abandon his S/O's behind? That won't do. He grabs the wheel with his big hand and growls in the guy's ear. You're not leaving without S/O. S/O is so confused when she comes back and sees a random man in the driving seat, terrified, as Oak is blocking them from moving off their seat.
Horrortale Papyrus - He raises a non-existent eyebrow then just taps the guy's shoulder. The stranger turns around and screams bloody murder when they see his face, before running out of the car, screaming a monster wants to eat them. Well, that was rude. Willow pouts, a bit uncomfortable as everyone is now staring at the car. Please come back soon... He hates it.
Swapfell Sans - He hisses loudly at the stranger, throwing himself on the wheel to protect the car. The stranger blinks at him and then slowly backs away. Yeah! Flee! You didn't surprise him at all as he was falling asleep! You have no proof!
Swapfell Papyrus - Oh that's good. He takes his phone and starts to record. The face of the guy is priceless when they notice they're not in the right car. Rus loses his shit. That's the funniest thing ever, he's so glad he caught this on camera. He's sending the video to S/O to divert them while they're waiting for their medical appointment.
Fellswap Gold Sans - "No." he says, before kicking the poor stranger out of the car, closing the door, and locking it. He then growls at the stranger by the window. Yeah, get out of here before he comes to show you whose territory this is.
Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He is slowly panicking. So, he was in the back of the car, sleeping, and didn't wake up when the door opened, thinking it was S/O. It was not S/O. He's in the middle of nowhere with a stranger and he is freaking out. He's too scared to say something so he just takes out his phone and text Wine a "i'm getting kidnapped i think" "THE HELL YOU MEAN YOU THINK? WHERE ARE YOU?" "in a car with a stranger. no idea where i was sleeping when he kidnapped me". Great. Wine is going to call every police station around so they save his brother.

Just for a funsie.
SPADES / Swords, represent reason and logic, wisdom and intellect.
Something that would fit our Gaster, as our royal scientist, our secret intellectual.
In the study regarding online player personalities, Spades Gamers seek to find secrets, glitches and easter eggs. Literally living up to the Spades name as digging for answers.
And Gaster is basically an Easter Egg himself that requires a lot of digging.
HEARTS / Chalices, represent emotions and faith, passion and instinct.
Something that... hasn't really repressented anyone. Not unless we want to open up theories about a Fourth Skelebro, or maybe just have an excuse to have OCs.
( We can always use more excuses to make OCs )
In the study of online player personalities, Hearts players prefer the social aspect, developing relationships, and investing in people.
DIAMONDS / Coins, represent Materials and Material values, Wealth and Achievements.
Papyrus does an awful lot to achieve a position, as he thinks that moving up with achieve affection like its something you earn rather than something you grow yourself with others. He's obsessed with physical items, such as traps, he wears a battle costume and dabs various MTT Brands behind his... Ears? because he thinks that physically appearing cool will earn him the support he wants.
( Which, as we Papyrus fans will say, he just needs to be himself and not rely on showing off material possessions. WE LOVE YOU AS YOU ARE, PAPY )
The Diamonds Player are our collectors. They must have all the objects, they must have The Aesthetic, they must have the Gold. They are effectively, the 100%ers, which means achieving greater and greater heights for the reward.
... not unlike Papy.
CLUBS / Wands, represent will and creativity, spirituality and... well, Determination.
Sans turns manipulating the mechanics of UT into an artform of creativity. From messing with us through colored text, to moving to the wrong side of the screen, to telling jokes to the Camera... Spirituality comes in, because he knows there are Bigger things out there--after all, he kicks our ass, doesn't he?
As for Determination... Well, didn't Papyrus say something about Sans, producing slime? Even though he's a skeleton? Which seems to be a thing about him sweating, and while he does carry a hankerchief...
... Skeletons don't sweat. And he does seem to be connected to at least three Soul Colors--Yellow, Azure-Blue, and Red. All human souls have DT, just as all monster souls have magic....
( Is it possible that Gaster was looking into DT extraction, because he was trying to save someone and not the underground )
The Clubs Player is our destroyer, the bigger weapon, the bigger bomb, the bigger the destruction. They are the disruptors, and might like Pam from Monster Factory, given how broken that game got.

Plssss, the world needs more Sentiment & Reason, no matter what stage it's at
wip game
see what's funny is i actually started writing the first chapter in my head last night but it was like 4am and i HAD to go to bed lol
sentiment and reason is the sort-of prequel to to catch a rabbit, aka kryterius murder mystery, just in the sense that it takes place prior to rabbit. not super connected otherwise. this time, instead of saren and nihlus, we're covering avitus and macen and how they get together - specifically, via a spectre mission wherein they pose as a married couple moving into a neighborhood in order to investigate a murder.
so far i have the outline up to day 2 of the investigation, i'm working on getting at least to a workable skeleton outline before i start divvying up into chapters, but i do have the setting, the victim, the murder method, and the 3 primary suspects + actual killer worked out :3c and also a subplot about saren's great-grandfather dying of cancer and saren getting The Call sometime before the climax. that'll hurt like a bitch i already cried just thinking of him and des discussing the inevitable last night i'm fine but also it's important to avi and macen in that avi encouraging saren to go be with his dying parsaepat instead of seeing the mission through is a breakthrough moment for the two of them, proving that avi does have empathy and emotional intelligence he just keeps them under lock and key, especially once he admits to macen that part of his motivation for telling saren to go was that he (avi) didn't get to say goodbye to his own mother when she was killed when he was 12 and he doesn't want his brother-friend to have to live with that very unique kind of pain
i don't really have any snippets worth sharing so here's some Fun Facts instead:
title is derived from a poirot quote, because that is apparently my naming scheme for this series, specifically The Mysterious Affair at Styles: "'Every murderer is probably somebody’s old friend', observed Poirot philosophically. 'You cannot mix up sentiment and reason.'"
fic takes place on the turian world thracia, which is another one of the ones with no canon from the scavenger hunt me1 mission and i'm kinda just bullshitting as i go but currently i have it as a world on the part of the turian-human border that used to be (unpopulated, just claimed) turian-salarian, pleasant climate, mostly a retirement planet for older turians looking for somewhere peaceful and warm to spend their twilight years, but with the advent of humanity there's been an increase of alien immigrants and with them younger turians moving in to make the old people feel more secure. there's tension there as a lot of turians don't want humans to feel entitled to a turian planet while humans and some other species feel the turians are being reactionary.
the victim is lieutenant general tagetis agonian, a very old drake (147yo at TOD) with an illustrious career including supporting desolas arterius's rise to power/fame and being one of the commanding generals at shanxi
because we all know i love my meaningful names, agonian's first name comes from the genus name for marigolds Tagetes, because he's killed with a marigold crushed into his tea to trigger his severe levo allergy
macen also has a severe levo allergy. coming into contact with a mixed-chirality bouquet and explaining his sudden hives to avi is what gives avi the idea for what killed the general when his autopsy comes back negative for known poisons but his tea had an earth plant in it.
one of the suspects, myrenth "myra" d'saana, is an asari resident in their waning matron stage who works as an accountant in the city. they moved to thracia with their bondmate several decades ago, and while their bondmate has passed on they'd grown fond of the neighborhood and their neighbors and chose to stay there to raise the child she had with said bondmate. said child is currently in their early 30s, asari equivalent of about 8 or 9, and was conceived shortly before the bondmate passed as "something to remember her by."
myrenth is very proud of their garden and regularly went back and forth with tagetis for first place in the annual competition. their garden is mixed-chirality, but they politely kept the levo plants away from the fence bordering tagetis's yard so he wouldn't accidentally come in contact with them.

Deleted/Alternate scene CH 30
Cake
You weren’t going to cry, you were definitely not going to cry. You told yourself over and over as you gingerly took out what was left of Papyrus’s cake, trying not to let it fall further to the side and ruin anyone else's.
It just collapsed. The top sliding off to the side as the bottom layers refused to support its weight.
You had worked so hard too, you couldn’t believe that it just fell apart.
…well okay, maybe you could, but it still wasn’t fair. It couldn’t have held on long enough to cut?
You had a little time to try and salvage it, you thought before big hands were wrapped around your middle and you were lifted onto a counter opposite your cake disaster.
“I- What- hey?” You demanded, glaring up at Edge.
“HUSH.” He scolded you as he took out the little cake spatula and started removing the icing from your cake. “HONESTLY, THIS IS EASILY FIXABLE, I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU'RE LOOKING SO DEJECTED.”
“Well…I-” You started, getting distracted when he pulled out some cake supports from one of the drawers. “I didn’t think about using those.”
“IT’S FINE…” He said trailing off, blushing lightly before meeting your eyes again across the kitchen. “YOU’RE LUCKY YOUR CUTE.” He said, echoing what you had said to him the night before as he fixed your cake, putting it back together beautifully, moving the squisked base to the top and putting the top on the bottom, with some extra support as he reapplie your layers.
You wanted to tell him how sweet you thought he was, but you couldn’t really get the words out until he was done, he was half way out of the kitchen before you could even call out a thank you.

Reading 2015 Annual and my brain can take one paragraph and just run with it
Cybermen use to be human, but they replaced their limbs with mechanical parts. The only remaining trace of the human body inside is the brain. Cyber technology came up with an emotional inhibitor to remove any emotions from the poor creature remaining inside the suit
Cybermen canon is so all over the place
🔹The entire head is in the cybersuit as seen in Pandorica Opens, not just the brain.
🔹This is why I don't understand Missy's cybermen. Yes yes upgrade the body download the mind or whatever. But if they need brains then corpses won't do. So Missy's cybermen use minds not brains.... why they need the bodies from the cemeteries escapes me, maybe it just the easiest way to spawn them. Some of them have full skeletons, the ones from 3W tanks.
🔹Then there is the Cyberiad is introduced in series 7 as a sort of hive mind and the Cyberium in series 12 but like...... cybermen cannot possibly be a single species so how does that work.
There are John Lumic Cybermen (series 2) Cybrus Industries.
Missy's Cybermen (series 8).
Whatever version of hyper-evolving Cybermen the Human Empire was fighting; apparently they are Mondas Cybermen but that was not at all clear from the episode (or i missed the mention) (series 7). Alternatively these cybermen were an amalgamation of Mondas (alien) Cybermen & Lumic (Human) Cybermen according to Gaiman. And potentially this amalgamation created the Cyberiad making them stronger than their two ancestors.
Whatever Cybermen were destroying humanity in the far future (series 12). The ones that utilized the Cyberium.
Mondas Cybermen (1st Doctor Story) who also evolve on one of Mondas' Colony Ships.... but only developed after the ship left Mondas and got stuck near the black hole meaning it was a different evolution than on Mondas itself (Series 10) meaning technically 2 species.
Telos Cybermen (6th Doctor, noted as separate from Mondas Cybermen by 12th Doctor).
[Plus 7 other stories of Classic Who that I don't know anything about] [Don't get angry over the stupidity of time lord cybermen don't get angry don't get angry don't get angry just take deep breathes *screams with mouth closed*]
So thats at minimum 5 different evolutionary developments: Mondas, Mondas Ship, Telos, Lumic, Missy.
But potentially an additional 2 that evolved from those 5: The Cyberiad Cybermen and Cyberium Cybermen
Also according to TARDIS wiki Gaimen said Classic Who cybermen were alien cyborgs not humans in a metal suit. Hence the distinction he made between Mondas and Lumic.
Side note: I'm so sad Matt Smith had issues with filming Nightmare in Silver and the crew didn't give him support so he was constantly frustrated.
Cybermen have to be my least favorite Doctor Who staple villian, and not just because the Lumic design's noise is legitimately a migraine trigger. There canon is confusing and unlike the Daleks who can get tiring sometimes at least Daleks are full of juicy juicy lore.
Cybermen are like the easy villain a writer can do almost anything with, no backstory needed at all. In fact that excerpt from the annual says it all "used to be human implanted emotional inhibitor" then add in "want to make everyone like them" and those are the only ingredients you need for New Who Cybermen. And even then they don't have to be human re: Mondas, Telos, .... *sigh* and technically Cyber/Spy-Masters too.

TW WARNING: SWEARING, MENTION OF RAPE, SELF-HARM AND TRAUMA NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MY HEADCANON
Tumblr media
America goes to the doctor (Since I seen so much stuff of the trauma he goes through, I decided to create a short story of Fanon America's trauma within my HC, meaning he jumped universes to my HC's universe)
[America was sitting in a chair, in front of a female doctor]
Doctor: So this is a typical human skeleton. Now, a couple of months ago, Alfred, Matthew, Arthur, Francis, and the rest of the other nations allowed me to x-ray them for research purposes. Their charts look like this.
[She goes through the Nation's x-rays one by one, their bones look rather normal]
Doctor: And they told me that they had horrific injuries involved with them, however, their anatomy is perfectly intact.
[She then goes over to America's skeleton]
Doctor: [Clears throat] And this is your chart. Definitely incorporating both nation and human. There's a clear history of numerous fractures like here on the skull. Everything is perfectly aligned. It almost looks like as if the bones, muscles and organs realigned and rebuilt themselves the instant these horrific, if not fatal injuries occurred.
America: That's good, right?
Doctor: Well, you seem to have made a series of miraculous, if not impossible recoveries, but that doesn't change the fact that you experienced trauma. You've recovered physically, but have you recovered mentally?
America: You think there's something wrong with my f#cking brain?!
Doctor: Not wrong! It's that adverse childhood experiences, or childhood trauma, can have a lasting impact on how your body responds to stress. This can affect your social, emotional, and physical development. When humans are in crisis, the brain releases the hormone cortisol. Your heart races, your muscles tense. I wonder if your body is reacting to a nation equivalent of cortisol. America, do you remember anything bad in your childhood that particularly stuck with you?
America: I-I guess, I kinda freaked out when Iggy put taxes on me after I threw his tea into the harbor, and then I got my White House burned down by Canada, and I split into two versions of myself in the Civil War, my economy collapsed during the Great Depression, Japan then attacked my Pearl Harbor, England almost died, Japan did die, Canada was tortured by Germany during the last battle against the Nazis, I was captured then killed in Vietnam, I saw England get decapitated right in front of me, I was captured by Russia and used as his sex slave, I woke up with a black eye imprisoned in his dungeon—
Doctor: America, this is serious!
America: But— that was just the early stuff!
Doctor: I think all these experiences in American history have been subjecting your body to a harmful amount of stress, and that's effecting your ability to respond to new forms of stress in a healthy way. You've been dealing with genuine threats from such a young age, and are still being faced with those threats to this very day, your body is now responding to minor threats, such as an election where your hated candidate wins, as if your life were in danger!
America: But- Why am I freaking out now?
Doctor: Stress is less harmful when we have people we trust to help us through it. Maybe if— if you're losing your supportive relationship, or if you had a recent experience that was practically off—
[America screams as he remembers an event, he gets up and starts smashing the room and punching the wall, Alfred and Matthew got in]
Alfred: What's going on?!
[America struggles to stay in control and the brothers go over to the doctor]
Alfred: Ma'am, what did you do?!
Doctor: I don't know, I just asked if he had any stressful experiences lately.
Matthew: Alfie, you don't think..?
America: [Tries to stay in control] It's not you, Matthew, it's everything that happened before!
Alfred: Mattie, what is he talking about?
America: You didn't tell your brother?!
Alfred: TOLD ME WHAT?!
America: It's not your fault, I think I just need you to leave!
Alfred: No, this is an emergency, I am not leaving!
Matthew: Alfie, us being here is making it worse!
America: AHHHH! [Smashes his head into a wall, causing it to bleed] Oh, no! Please— j-just GO!
Matthew: America!
America: I…! can't…! BE AROUND YOU RIGHT NOW!!!!!
[America's scream reaches a fever pitch, and then, a massive shockwave destroys the room with a massive explosion, when the dust settles, everyone was in shock, Matthew was hyperventilating out of fear, America breathes heavily, and then a familiar voices bursts through the doors]
???: America!
America: England…?
Arthur: No, it's me, Arthur, I'm here! [He runs up to him]
Alfred: C'mon, Matthew, let's give them some space. [He helps Matthew up]
America: H-How'd you know I was here?
Arthur: Alfred called me about an hour ago.
[Alfred helps Matthew out of the room]
America: Alfred…
[Alfred pauses]
America: Thank you…
Alfred: Yeah… I'll be here when you're ready.
[Alfred and Matthew leave the room, along with the rest of the doctors]
Arthur: America, I'm sorry! If I'd have known I—
America: It's fine, Arthur. You were busy, and I didn't know what was going on.
Arthur: Come on, America. Talk to me.
America: I- Well- I um- I proposed to England! [Tears up]
Arthur: You what?!
America: He said no…
Arthur: Oh, America…
America: My body, it's reacting like it's the end of the world! I think I seen the world almost end so many times now that- everything that goes to sh!t feels that- that extreme! I should be feeling so good these days, the Earth is better, Biden's my new boss. But I'm f#cking over these old era problems! What do I do? How do I move on from all the sh!t I've been through? How do I feel happy when I know the entire world hates me and treats me like sh!t? How do I live life if it always feels like I'm about to f#cking die?!
Arthur: [He hugs him] It's gonna be alright, America. I'm here for you.
[America cries into his shoulder, after a while, he slows down, yet tears fall from his eyes]
America: I just— I wanna go home.
[Note: this is not apart my HC, it is a story I came up with and I do not support USUK in any shape or form]

Restless Reprieve
Geno and Aftertale belong to CrayonQueen Reaper belongs to Renrink
If there was one good thing to come from being stuck in this stupid void, it was Reaper.
Geno wasn’t one for overdramatic clichés, but he truly felt like he’d found his soulmate.
The god of death didn’t magically make everything better. Geno’s day-to-day was still a living hell. But Reaper was a bright spot in the darkness. The god helped him through the worst moments, he was a support to lean on. He was a distraction from all of the bad things happening in Geno's universe.
Reaper had stumbled into the Save Screen one day, trying to reap Geno’s soul. Geno had, of course, told him to fuck off. They fought. Reaper won. Reaper tried to take Geno’s soul. He failed.
Both skeletons were surprised to discover that Reaper’s Death Touch didn’t work on Geno. Neither was sure why. It may have been from Geno’s half-dead state, or the amount of determination he’d consumed, or a mere side effect of the Save Screen. Or maybe there was just a glitch somewhere in his code. Whatever the cause, that encounter had led to Geno’s new recurring visitor.
At first, he’d found the death god annoying. Reaper was a terrible flirt, always so touchy-feely... probably because Geno was the only person he could touch without them dusting on the spot. But still. It was annoying. Geno had been irritable whenever the god visited. But as time passed, he’d begun to enjoy the other’s company. Geno told himself it was just because Reaper was something different in his monotonous life, but it was difficult to fool himself for long.
Reaper would tell Geno about different AU’s he’d visited, sharing stories about particularly strange deaths. Gruesome, sure, but it gave Geno something to think about aside from the violence happening in his own world. Reaper brought trinkets and snacks to the Save Screen. He’d find colorful designs to fill the void, or force Geno to try weird candy flavors. And it was nice, to have something different. To have something to look at other than the surrounding blackness. To be able to taste something again after so long not needing food to survive. To have new experiences for the first time in years.
Geno’s favorite gift by far were the books. They gave him something to occupy his time after Reaper left. And the fact that the god of death had thought about what Geno went through while he was gone, had thought to bring him a distraction... it was endearing.
They grew close. Eventually, they started dating. Sort of.
Geno couldn’t really go on dates, since he couldn’t leave the Save Screen, but Reaper didn’t care. He seemed to take it as a challenge, trying his best to recreate all of the stereotypical date locations in the void.
There coffee date had been sipping coffee while sitting on the floor of the Save Screen. They’d spread a blanket over the grassy patch of the void for there picnic. The theater date consisted of Geno and Reaper snuggling together with popcorn and a blanket to watch a movie on Reaper’s phone.
It was simple, but Geno liked it. Reaper was creative in his quest to make every “date” different. To keep bringing new experiences to the void. And it was sweet.
But it wasn’t enough to overcome the hell Geno went through whenever Reaper was gone. When the god of death left to reap the souls of those who’d passed, and Geno was left alone with a handful of books and that view of his family and friends viciously dying on loop.
Some days, he could shut out the human’s torture and focus on the distractions Reaper had provided. But some days those distractions didn’t work, and he felt like he was slowly losing control. How long could he watch these same scenes before he lost his mind?
As much as he loved Reaper, those emotions couldn’t overcome the need to destroy his universe, to stop the human, to save everyone from there endless suffering. He kept trying to talk to Sans, to convince the other monster to help him. Sans continued to refuse. The Resets kept happening. His friends kept suffering. Papyrus kept dying.
Reaper kept visiting. It felt like he was the only thing keeping Geno sane. But it was like a ticking bomb that kept being reset. There’s still an impending explosion, it’s just being delayed.
How long until Geno bursts? When will it all become too much for him to handle? At what point will he fall apart so much that he can’t be put back together?
---
One day, everything changed.
Reaper hadn’t visited lately, and Geno was feeling a little extra crazy, like he’d explode at any moment. He restored Sans’s memories of the previous Resets.
Geno had been worried that he’d pushed too hard. That he’d broken his double, that he’d have to wait for another Reset to attempt his negotiations again. But it worked. At least, Geno thought it had. Sans agreed to help him.
But it’d all been a trick to drag Papyrus into the Save Screen. To get Geno’s baby brother to talk him down from the edge. They were convinced they could find there happy ending. Geno didn’t believe in happy endings anymore, but he let them try.
Apparently all it took to end this hell was a damn piece of butterscotch-cinnamon pie.

Give Atticus hcs I need my emotions support skeleton
Fine! A lot more people should like Atticus, he's the most peaceful, most emotionally mature and charming of my OCs. And he's so handsome!
You know about his very exotic taste in clothing. Weird patterns, flashy and bright colors, Hawaiian shirts, maybe even crocs and mid-calf with all that instead of sneakers! He's a révolutionnaire! But! Did you know! All that is also true for his underwear? He's very lucky boxers and briefs and masc-type undies have such a big market of weird shit. That means his butt could be covered in... watermelon boxers! Or a papaya pattern! Oh, a papaya with sunglasses playing the lute pattern! Trumpets! Croissants!
Since I know you're interested in him, in the biblical sense of the word, let me tell you his favorite type of underwear has a thick waistband - he thinks it's cool when it shows a bit because his pants are hanging juuuuust a little bit low. Since he rarely has genitalia summoned, he switches between undies with and without a jock cup or a fly. He likes elastic materials too, the kind that hug your body snugly - he doesn't have many curves to show off, he just thinks they're comfortable!
Most of everything he does is with music in the background. It's not like he wants to feel like he's in an eternal musical, but having that noise with him helps him stay motivated through the day, he doesn't like silence much. He will sing and dance to it, and he's a silly guy so you know he's not above an impromptu tap dancing break while doing the dishes if the song hits right!
The king of fucked up stuff in the kitchen. He knows how to cook, but if someone asks him for a weird obscenity in a cup or some sort of wacky internet recipe, he's going to do it! It looks fun! And he likes experimenting!
If he were human, I think he'd have longish hair, a soft, wavy mane, shoulder length... And he's fortunate about the volume, or he'd look like a medieval page. He'd keep it in a bun anytime he's doing something active or dirty, like cooking or going out to gather mushrooms, but in any comfortable area or at home leisuring -or if he has a date -, he'd let it fall naturally. Unfortunately, he's a skeleton, so no hair for him. Though he could maybe be wrangled to wear a wig on Halloween, after some convincing.
He doesn't know much about sports. But he's a very cheerful guy, so if someone wants to watch a match of something with him, he'll "yay, sports!" up and try to get into it soooooo very naturally.

While I am stilling writing up profiles and designing characters for my Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! series 'Hunted Butterfly', I decided to do a quick character lineup of my OCs that I considered to be a part of the main cast. I will have a line up for supporting characters and antagonists.
I also wrote up some basic info about them as a form of roll call to introduce them to new people.
From left to right we have;
Salem- A demon spider-monkey hybrid. Knighted warrior of his home planet and guardian of his godson Reynold Nystrom Jr./Rain, he is Gibson's biological brother. His mysterious knowledge about Dark Ones and his unique combat have helped the Hyperforce team in many ways, they are concerned about his awareness of Dark Ones as he will not elaborate on where he got this knowledge from.
Tech- Commonly going by his nickname, a very skilled mechanic and Chrome's younger brother. He usually works alongside his creator/father in his projects and helping with raising his goddaughter, Sophie Ito. His understanding of new and old technology has helped the Hyperforce team a lot with fighting the war, he and Otto are close mechanic buddies as they work on new projects together while also having a mutual concern for Chrome albeit for slightly distinct reasons.
Chrome- A fully robot monkey mercenary as well as the chosen wielder of the Dark Reaper who fights the Krivark on his home planet. He is Tech's older brother and primary guardian of his goddaughter Sophie Ito; he later becomes Otto's boyfriend. He works to find the answers to many secrets relating to his home but also Eki's past, secretly having a feeling she's more important than what was originally thought to be.
Skyper- The last monkey created by the Alchemist and later became a Formless-Monkey Hybrid due to Skeleton King; he is Antauri's biological younger brother. He's very unique in not just biology but also in his general personality, at times he's mysterious even to himself. These days, he's acting as Eki's self-proclaimed guardian/protector.
Eki- A bionic human girl who was rescued from her 'creator' by the Hyperforce which after some time she becomes a member of the team and Chiro's foster sister. She is learning about life and freedom while adapting to her powers, thankfully for her she has a good support group in her growing development.
Amy- The botanist of the Hyperforce, using her knowledge to help Gibson craft cures and keep the team safe from dangerous specimens on unknown worlds. She is also Sparx's younger biological sister; She's probably one of the very few who can stop everyone else from killing Sparx but will have her moments where she wants to 'kill' him. While not an occasional fighter, she can hold her own when needed.
Azure Spear and Ruby Mace- A pair of monkeys who are very much in love to the point where they got married, they live on the same planet as Chrome and work various part-time jobs to keep themselves occupied. Azure is the peacekeeper while Ruby is the warrior, they in a way act as unofficial advisors to the Hyperforce with Ruby more of the fighting type mentor while Azure is the more emotional/mental advisor. They have a good relationship with the Hyperforce team while being old friends of Salem, Chrome and Tech.
Octavia- A monkey-sea siren/mermaid hybrid and the adopted daughter to the current queen of Atlantia, an underwater kingdom that resides in the Shuggazoom ocean. She acts as the expert of sea life and later becomes Gibson's girlfriend, through her Gibson has learned to relax more and accept the concepts of 'magic' better. She's close to the female members of the team and has a good relationship with the males, Sparx is protective of her's and Gibson relationship.
Coco- A young female monkey created by an exiled Veron Mystic member and raised as not just his student but also his daughter in a small pocket dimension. Other than the Power Primate, she had light and healing powers. She eventually becomes Antauri's girlfriend (And to Skyper's delight, his sister-in-law). She's honestly struggling to adapt to Shuggazoom but she knows that she'll be ok with the rest of the Hyperforce team with her.
Kaneki- One and the only surviving prototype of the monkey team who later became a part of the Super Robot as a part of its subconscious and in control of it. When he is discovered and his new body is completed with the updated nano bots, he is fully trusted with controlling the Super Robot when needed and acts as a secondary advisor and guardian to the whole team. It is heavily implied that he and Antauri have developed a form of psychic connection due to the events of 'I, Chiro' while he's lowkey worrisome about Chiro's future.
That's it for now, hopefully I will have written up the profiles for other characters as well.

Are some of the council heads in on Draxum’s plan and secretly supporting it from the shadows? Especially now that he has Galois and they realize the amount of money that kid could make for them?
The Council? You mean those guys that are totally not Kraang? Who forbade Draxum from messing with the humans and put a fucking hit out on him when he didn't get off his bullshit? Nope.
Okay, I'm gonna use this as an excuse to ramble, as I often do. Let's talk about what we know about the Council. They know about the prophecy, but disagree with Draxum on its interpretation. It's confirmed that humans drove the Yokai underground in the first place and definitely pose a threat to their kind-yet the Council doesn't want to eliminate them. They're voiced by Transformers. We see them exactly twice, and both times what we see is
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heads. Just stiff, unmoving faces. When they speak their mouths glow in time with their words, and the way the audio is it's implied that they're not talking directly, but through some sort of speaker. And then there's this-
Tumblr media
Dispatching Agent 64 to 'keep an eye' on Draxum. And then magically warps him a treat and calls him a good boy. This little exchange gives us a ton of information on the nature of the Council. For one, they have emotions! They might be logic-driven, but they're not soulless like Krang Prime is shown to be. They are not immune to Fluffy Dog, they find them cute and enjoy giving them treats and make embarrassing noises while doing so. Despite this, they don't appear in person to speak to him. They keep their real forms hidden, even from Yokai they seem to trust. They're capable of magic. And finally, they're not omniscient. They can tell Draxum's up to no good, but they need someone to find proof so they can put him on trial.
Considering the existence of the Krang skeleton within the Hidden City and how it bleeds empyrean, how it's confirmed that empyrean is what creates Yokai-the crew was setting the stage for something. I definitely think that the Council was meant to be Rise's Utrom. Potentially, they came with the rest of the Krang dickbags to take over Earth, then pulled a Pink Diamond and went "oh it actually slaps here."
But how this is relevant, the Krang are a hivemind. They don't own individual property, don't even really have their own names. They exist to 'improve' lesser races. They have no need for money, nor the things it could buy them. They would not be fucking capitalists, is what I'm getting at.
As far as the fic goes, the Council are keeping an eye on things and they'll show up eventually. But no, they do not support Draxum. They're trying to catch him with his pants down and get the proof they need to arrest him/take Galois away from him and figure out What The Deal is with all that, but the Draxum/Cass/Galois dream team is covering their tracks very well.
And if we talk about the other big players in the Hidden City, like their elected politicians that operate under the Council and the richie-riches...sort of but not really. The Hidden City is facing a lot of the same problems we are now, with an impending infrastructure collapse on the horizon while their economy and government has been set up for the sole purpose of making a few people as many imaginary bank points as possible. In that the people who have all the power to do anything about the collapse don't give a shit about anything but racking up more bank points and everything's going to hell.
Do those people support Draxum's plot? No. Draxum's plans are not going to make them money-if anything, his plans are a major threat to them. In capitalism, resource scarcity benefits the people at the top. So I've mentioned that there's an impending food shortage due to the limited number of crops they can grow underground. That's fucking great for whoever grows the food. They can absolutely scalp people and people will pay their prices, because they have no other choice. Desperate people are also willing to work more for less, and they care about their rights less when their kids haven't eaten in days. Big Mama and her fellow capitalists? They're excited for this. Sure, they are sinking their own ship for the pleasure of watching those on the lower decks drown, but for a time they can make more imaginary bank points! Draxum's plans would solve a bunch of problems that they're capitalizing on.
Not to mention Draxum's a socialist and he would have a lot of power in this new above-ground society, even if he doesn't want to install himself as king. His plans scare them. His plans would mean they'd make slightly less money. So no, they do not support Draxum.
Galois, however...that's a bit different. Because in someone else's hands, Galois could make someone a whole bunch of money. He wouldn't really want to, but he's a skinny teenager and until recently he didn't legally exist. No government would be looking for him. This is where I side-eye the people calling Draxum a helicopter for being paranoid about Galois being kidnapped because trust me, there are people looking at this kid and licking their chops.
