WELCOME CENTER.

ooc : updates / generally in large community servers you can subscribe to get updates sent to you personal server, this is a good place to send them. alternatively, you can utilize webhooks to send your tumblr notifications to your discord server in this channel. ( see tutorial here ).

- MUN STUFF: My name's Kew! She/they, well over 21. No triggers. I don't have DID, any attempt to portray it is based on the show/comics. I only speak English fluently and any other language will be google translate. Please forgive any mistakes!

- MINORS BE WARNED: I'm not going to be super strict about weeding out minors since I don't expect things to get NSFW around here, but the show Khonshu is from does explore some darker themes for a TV-14 show. I dunno. You've been warned.

- GENERAL RP ETIQUETTE APPLIES: Don't make actions for my character without asking, don't assume past relationships/deep history without asking, don't read my character's mind (unless your character is a telepath, and even then I don't know if that works on gods), etc. - GENERAL CONTENT WARNING FOR: Descriptions of violence, religious stuff, swearing, emotional manipulation, a.bleism (especially surrounding mental health stuff.) I’ll try to tag other things as they come up. - FEEL FREE TO REBLOG MEMES FROM ME. It actually helps me remember to send stuff out. - NOT PRIVATE, BUT SELECTIVE: I sometimes don't follow big multimuses back since I have pretty strict tastes in fandoms, and I don't want to clog my dash with characters I don't know. - SPOILERS FOR MOON KNIGHT EVERYWHERE. There will be untagged spoilers for both the comics and especially the show. I highly recommend watching the Moon Knight TV show if you haven’t seen it! It got me into comic books and made me interested in the MCU. - That said, I haven’t seen all of the content in the MCU, not even a third of it, so I’m sorry if I get any lore details wrong.

- KHONSHU IS AN ASSHOLE. Nothing he says reflects my real views about anything. If he’s mean to you, it doesn’t mean I don’t like you or you’ve done something wrong.

- FOR OTHER MARC/STEVEN/JAKE MUSES: By default, I'll play Khonshu like he's connected to your Marc/Steven/Jake. If you want it to be dimension-hopping shenanigans (which I'm super down to do, especially for ones more heavily based on the comics) you'll have to let me know! All these interactions will be on different verses, and I don't plan to have Khonshu be 'mains' with any muses.

- FIGHTS: With extremely rare exceptions, I'm just gonna say no to fight threads with Khonshu. Partly because he's incorporeal and really can't be hurt or hurt anyone else directly. Mostly because fighting other muses has always stressed me out. If it's something you really want to do, we can talk about it. (This doesn't mean your character can't attack Khonshu ever, it just means it probably won't work.)

☽ MUSE INFO ☾

NAME: Khonshu OTHER NAMES: Chons, Bloody pigeon, Silly old bird (He accepts none of those) PRONOUNS: He/him HEIGHT: Varies, usually around 8-10 feet tall. WEIGHT: N/A (Incorporeal, like a ghost) AGE: Has existed since the dawn of time, so who knows.

- KHONSHU is the Egyptian god of the moon, vengeance, healing and time, among other smaller things. While he is enormously powerful in theory, he’s mostly unable to affect the physical world without use of a mortal AVATAR, dubbed his MOON KNIGHT. Those who agree to be his Avatar are granted superpowers and near-invulnerability, in exchange for agreeing to carry out his mission: Bringing vengeance against those who harm his travelers of the night.

- Khonshu is also somehow a billions-year-old grumpy baby who flips over trash cans when he doesn’t get his way.

- By default, Khonshu's current Avatar is JAKE LOCKLEY, and only Jake Lockley. But, he can also be played before the events of the show, when he (technically) has the triple threat of Jake Lockley, MARC SPECTOR, and STEVEN GRANT.

- Jake will make occasional cameos on this blog, but I wouldn't call this a dual muse. (You can request him in asks if you want.)

- Normally, only his Avatar (or Avatars of other gods) are capable of seeing/hearing Khonshu, but let’s say this blog is a holy space where he can answer your prayers questions. (In threads, we can always BS a reason your character can see Khonshu.)

- This Khonshu is HEAVILY BASED ON THE TV SHOW, which means he lacks a lot of the harsher history his comic book counterpart has. That said, as a god, he is aware of the multiverse and has at least a rough idea of what his counterparts are up to. You can ask about comic stuff, he just might have a different opinion.

- Some comic lore has been added/built upon, namely his fraught history with his father, AMON-RA. (This probably won’t come up much, but it does inform a lot of how I play the character.)

okay, this is me pitching a dash wide community event for the one piece rpc:

being mutuals is not required, anyone with a one piece blog or universe can participate!

(i wanted to do something that wouldn't necessarily be affiliated with marines/pirates but i couldn't come up with anything)

each pirate with a bounty has been sent an individual invitation for a masquerade ball from news coo all around the world. everyone is welcome! more invitations have been slipped so even pirates without bounties can go/anyone who comes across one. as each pirate gets off, they are swept into a massive closet full of formal wear and masks for a masquerade ball! no one will know what each other is wearing so that it is a complete mystery!

the catch? it’s actually a huge marine operation to bring pirates into custody! marines will be undercover (in masquerade outfits as well) but they will have a sign (a badge, a broach, something along those lines) to signify to other marines of who they are. civilians may also attend but they will also be ‘encouraged’ to wear something that says they’re a civilian. this event is not stated to solely be for pirates.

pacifista tech that identifies pirates will be employed but the masks will make it difficult (and obviously the den den mushi’s watching will not be able to track everyone).

if i host this, the ball will in character take place over one evening but out of character it will be longer than that. i will provide prompts, events that happen throughout the night and make a host side blog where people can rsvp and send in what they’re character will wear so we can see ooc and support each other! you will not have to be mutuals with me to do so, but still sending in an rsvp would be good! i would recommend following that side blog for the duration of the process so you don't miss updates and sentence starters or event prompts.

characters can dance, drink, have some drama in character, hook up, a little violence, etc.? violence ic will be discouraged but you never know with pirates! if a big event happens in a thread related to this, maybe we can incorporate it so more people can react! we’ll have a hashtag as well so people can scroll through. :)

duplicates of muses would be more than welcome! it makes it more fun that way. but if characters are reacting to something that has been done in character in a separate thread, it would be good to react generally or reference the particular blogs that were involved.

i think it might be fun! i’m trying to think of ways to bring marines/pirates/civilians together for something fun and this is the best one i’ve come with any ideas. if anyone has anything other ideas or would like to host, please let me know! i think it would be something fun to bring the dash together and have more people interact.

GREETINGS FROM SWITCHGRASS BEACH!

Residents of the idyllic summer beach town have seen its slogan on billboards, postcards, and pamphlets for as long as they’ve been there, but for them, Switchgrass is home. Whether they live for the summer months, hitting the water by day and the marina bar by night, or appreciate bonfires on the beach during the fall and winter months, by and large, there’s little to want for in a town like Switchgrass – except for maybe a few more hours of sun each year.   The thing is -- its residents don’t seem to have a lot of attachments outside the town, or any compulsions to leave. The memories of their lives before are a little vague at best, foggy and hard to recall at worst, and the longer they’ve lived in town, the harder it is to recall who they were – who they might have been – before arriving. But as long as the sun rises and sets on a beautiful town like Switchgrass, who’s to question why they never seem to want to leave the isle, or why they might feel a vague sense of longing – of something missing – with the receding tide...

Switchgrass Beach is an upcoming 21+ pan/multifandom discord rp focused on incorporating fandom canons, fandom originals, and original characters in a modern beach town setting.

We welcome member-run plots and town-centric events to distract the characters from any existential quandaries, and our activity requirements are story-focused over post/word count-centric. 

Interactions can be done via longform posting, rapidfire threading, comms/group chats, and social media. AU and past/present areas will eventually be offered as well!

Hey there my fellow space exploring pals and writers from previously uncharted worlds! I am currently on the hunt for some sci-fi based goodness intertwined with an overly generous helping of drama, spaceships, lasers, aliens, romantic endeavours, intergalactic sized portions of chaos, moments of tenderness and heartbreaks, more lasers, some cool tech and a story that leaves us hanging on the edge of our seats whilst we eagerly await the next reply with a few unexpected plot related twists and turns thrown in to keep us on our toes. I’m not looking for anything based in other genres right now/with extreme amounts of realism so please keep that in mind when it comes to approaching me and reading through this ad.

ZEE BILL:

-I am looking for someone who can write a minimum of at least three to four properly fleshed out and detailed paragraphs per response in third person past tense as well as a decent grasp on spelling, grammar and punctuation. One liners, single paragraph responses, rushed out replies with frequent spelling mistakes that go uncorrected and constantly swapping between tenses are a no go for me.

-I would like to aim for at least one to two responses per day/every other day, but I am open to planning a schedule with my partners depending on their overall availability so long as there are at least three days of the week where they are able to make a post for the rp and I’m given a heads up about any changes that may need to be made due to life related things outside of our control. I am not open to only receiving one response a week or less than that.

-I am looking for a long term rp partner who is also open to having multiple threads/plots/stories/etc running at the same time or at our leisure. I’m not looking for a short term story that is over and done with in just a couple of days before we part ways and never hear of each other ever again.

-I am in the AEST time zone. Whilst I have no trouble working with people who are in different time zones, please be aware that this might cause a bit of schedule clashing depending on how many hours behind or ahead of you I may be and what times you are available to chat with.

-I am a big fan of ooc chat and love nothing more than opening up discord on my phone to find that I have been flooded with messages containing ideas for the rp, silly little goofy character scenes, memes or even just a funny story about something that happened during the week. As long as I am not being spammed with “you there?” “When will you reply?” “Hello?” Or something similar, you are free to message me at any time even if I am not actively online.

-All writers and characters must be 20+. No exceptions will be made in regards to this rule.

-I only play male characters and they’re all aliens. If you do not like the idea of playing against aliens that may have/has fur, claws, fangs, tails, the ability to walk on ceilings, multiple limbs or just anything that doesn’t look like it could be anything else besides a regular earthborn human and lacks any noticeable features to help distinguish them as another species, then I am not the rper for you. I do not care if you wish to play as a human or alien provided it doesn’t look like a xenomorph or insectoid like alien, isn’t made from slime, doesn’t have magical powers, isn’t telepathic and can function in harsh or combative environments without automatically being severely handicapped in some way because their helmet broke and they can’t survive without it due to being unable to breathe without water or they’re blinded by regular lighting and cannot adapt to it.

-I often incorporate certain themes and topics in my stories which may include, but are not limited to: gore, violence, war, PTSD and how that may affect the way a character interacts with others, disabilites, major injuries or illnesses and how they’re treated, abuse, character loss or death, torture, etc. any and all limits will be discussed prior to the planning stages of the rp itself but please keep in mind that I’m not the kind of person who skimps on the dark and gritty parts of a story (barring a few very specific exceptions) so if you are not comfortable with this, I am not the rper for you.

-Romance is my bread, slow burn is my butter. Together they help create the perfect sandwich that I absolutely adore. Gimme that drama which comes with realising that the guy who was only a few seconds away from drawing his pistol and aiming it at your heart when you first met is kinda hot, let them simmer in the tension those feelings cause and stew flusteredly over the little things they both find cute about each other, engage in a bit of insulting (banter) that leaves the characters going “dang….they’re good.”, mercilessly plunge them into the pits of emotional despair when one of them gets hurt, let em see the best and worst sides of each other. Don’t be afraid to sling any ideas that may make it all the more dramatic-er wholesome either! Just don’t get too carried away and let it completely overtake the main story. Pairings wise MxM is what I prefer the most but I’ll also happily indulge in a FxM (with me playing the male character) couple as well. I will not play the role of a female character as part of either a primary or secondary romantic pairing so don’t come to me if you’re looking for someone to do that for you.

-Spice (smut) is a ingredient that I add to all of my rp’s and I don’t like to skimp (fade to black) on when it comes to sprinkling it in amongst the main storyline, but it’s also not something that will come first over anything else either. I like to keep things 50/50 when it comes to having a story to smut ratio and do not wish to have one exceed the other in excessive amounts. I am not a fan of strict dom/sub roles when it comes to bedroom dynamics and will only accept characters who are switches/tops who don’t mind swapping places every now and then, I will not play against submissive bottoms who have no intention of reciprocating or have to be constantly guided on what to do.

-Please keep your time travellers, dimension hoppers, androids, heavily augmented cyborgs,overly emotionally fragile characters, characters who need to be constantly looked after or guided by mine, characters who are blinding rays of sunshine that never feel any negative emotions whatsoever and those who may be more suited to a entirely setting, genre or role at home please.

-I only write on discord due to the ability to make servers so that everything stays neat and organised/easily accessible within its own little category. I will not write on any other platform.

-usual rp etiquette rules such as don’t control my characters,don’t rewrite a whole scene without asking first, don’t overstep any boundaries, let me know if something comes up (if possible), please actively contribute to world building/plotting and have fun also apply.

PLOT RELATED DETAILS:

You’ve (hopefully) read the rules, now it’s time to see just exactly what kinds of stories I’ve got on offer for you. Click on one of the tags down below and it’ll show the pairing for that particular plot as well as a small ‘preview’ of what it’s meant to be about and where it’s set. These are just the bare bones of each plot however, meaning there’s still tonnes of room for brainstorming or introducing other themes provided that they don’t completely change the original idea too much.

When it comes to who plays what, anything that is in bold is the role I wish to play whereas anything that isn’t is up for grabs and can be played by either of us. Again not everything is a hundred percent set in stone (barring the plots that have roles I’ve already chosen of course) so there is the opportunity for some slight tweaking to happen if you’d prefer to play as something else so long as it still meshes with the rest of the story.

STOWAWAY:

(Stowaway x captain)

A injured criminal who is on the run sneaks onboard a strangers ship in the hopes of taking it for themselves after just narrowly avoiding being arrested by the local law enforcement on the station they’ve been stranded on only to be found by the ship’s captain, who appears to be the only occupant of the ship itself given that there’s no obvious signs of any other crew members lurking around somewhere. After a brief struggle the criminal begs for the captain to not turn them in despite the bounty that has been placed upon their heads and reluctantly agrees to help them out with their business in exchange for shelter as well as find a way to pay them the amount of credits that the captain would earn by handing them over to the authorities.

SECOND CHANCES:

(Pilot x rescuer)

After narrowly escaping being captured by the authorities as a result of being framed for a crime they did not commit one of the intergalactic defence forces top pilots flees to a planet located within a system that’s considered to be outside of alliance occupied air space. Tired, injured and afraid the pilot abandons their ruined starfighter and attempts to find a place to stay the night as the weather begins to turn harsh before eventually collapsing in the mud several hours later. A local from a nearby settlement stumbles upon the pilot and brings them home whilst being completely unaware that the person they’ve rescued has been branded as a wanted criminal galaxies away from where they are now. At first the pilot is confused by this act of kindness, only to then realise that word of who they are as well as any news of the crime itself has not yet reached the people of this planet and accepts their rescuer’s offer to stay with them until they find their feet again not knowing that they’d end up sticking around for far longer than they originally intended.

MERCY:

(Pirate x alliance captain)

The most feared pirate in the known galaxies faces off against one of the greatest captains the alliance has ever had in their midst and manages to gain the upper hand whilst the ship they are on is badly damaged from the battle going on outside……only to hesitate from making the final blow once they recognise the captain’s face as belonging to an old friend who they believed had betrayed them many years ago. With the ship heading on a collision course with the nearest planet the pirate is forced to make a tough decision and flees with the captain in tow, both parties more than aware of the consequences their choices may unleash upon them as their escape pod enters the planet’s atmosphere.

ROLE REVERSAL:

(Slave x criminal)

A alliance captain is betrayed by their own crew and sold into slavery in exchange for a large amount of credits. After several months of being returned to the slave trader as a result of many failed 'purchases’ that have led to the captain being dubbed as too 'problematic’ for sale, one of the very criminals that they’d been tracking down prior to their crews unexpected mutiny buys them without a moment’s hesitation once they see just exactly who the person sitting miserably within the display cage is.

OATHBOUND:

(Officer x pilot)

A low ranking alliance officer who has been separated from their crew during a mission gone wrong and is now stranded on a backwater planet is unexpectedly saved from a gruesome fate at the hands of a less than friendly gang of smugglers by a freelance cargo pilot who is intent on keeping their reasons for intervening under a very strict lock and key. The officer strikes a bargain with the pilot in the hopes of finding their way back to their crew, only for the party responsible for their predicament to attempt to stop this reunion from happening in any way possible once they learn of the officer’s survival.

THE MISSION:

(Alien x human )

Seven. Seven alliance ships had disappeared without a trace or been destroyed by unforeseen yet suspicious circumstances. Mining asteroid explosions, ambush attacks, ship failures, all unfortunate yet unpredictable occurrences that were happening far too frequently for anyone to be able to just comfortably sit back and go on with life. With tensions between the alien and human race at an all time high, the alliance itself was desperately trying to find a way to keep the peace without causing a panic. Eventually, a proposal was made. In an all time first since the end of the great alien/human wars, an alien would be chosen and sent to work onboard a human ship. This was considered to be a very large step given many planets were still hostile to one another and the rumours circulating about the missing ships were sparking some strong reactions from both sides but the alliance was desperate….and so was the alien they were planning to send onboard. For them, it was their last and only chance to start a new life and to put a difficult past behind them. Little did anyone know, the appearance of this newcomer was more than just the first step towards changing life as many knew it for the known galaxies.

EXCHANGE:

(Pirate x knight)

A ship full of nobles that are on a voyage to celebrate the betrothal of their heirs and the new alliance between their planets is boarded by one of the most notorious pirates in the known galaxies after it accidentally strays into their territory. The pirate then demands that they be given the heir to one of the noble families in exchange for sparing the rest of them. Fearing for the welfare of their planets and the fate that may befall their best friend/secret lover at the hands of the pirate, the knight of the heir who is chosen begs to be taken instead whilst being under the impression that someone will be sent to rescue them…..only to find that’s not the case as time passes by.

JUST A PILOT:

(Captain x new recruit)

The life of a captain was one which was filled with unnecessary and sometimes completely unwarranted fame, danger beyond anyone’s wildest imagination, a reputation which was far more heavily influenced by any slip ups that the local rumour mongers had caught wind of than good deeds and decisions which always weighed heavily upon their shoulders regardless of the outcome. It was also a well known fact that captains could either bestow a certain kind of glory upon their crew through their heroic deeds, or make their lives the very definition of hell. When a captain who has a reputation for regularly putting their crew through the emotional wringer and a temper that has yet to be matched or tamed by anyone is assigned a new recruit after one of their top pilots is killed in action, chaos of an entirely different kind is born.

TAKING OVER:

(Captain x crew mate)

The lifespan of a captain could sometimes end up being tragically short. It was the captain who was supposed to be the first to jump into their starfighter and guide their crew to victory whenever their ship was under threat, It was the captain who was expected to always be able to know what decisions were the right ones to make in regards to the welfare of the crew and it was the captain who took an oath upon receiving the keys to their ship to never put their own life before someone else’s even when faced with the most difficult decision of all. When the much loved captain of the alliance ship Maelstrom loses their life after a mission gone wrong their second in command is the one who is chosen to take their place as the new captain despite the angry protests from some of the crew members. Although they’d abandoned their less than humble watery origins well before the first spaceship had even been invented, Pirates were believed to be one of the biggest threats that anyone could encounter within the known galaxies. Those who were brave enough to attempt to navigate through the vast starry seas of space without a small fleet rallied behind them would often meet their fate at the hands of the bloodthirsty buccaneers whose lust for wealth and power had completely overtaken their ability to feel remorse for their actions. Any twinges of guilt that did attempt to surface were often easily washed away by consuming vast amounts of alcohol and then drunkenly brawling with other members of the crew during the celebratory dinners that came after a successful day of looting or the claiming of another captain’s ship as their own. When a ship is captured by the most feared pirate of all after accidentally flying into their territory and the crew fearfully plead for their lives, fate decides to take matters into its own hands in a most unexpected way.

hi ! i'd be more than happy to. under the cut are screenshots of my group, aurora isle. however, i can't claim sole credit for how it's been set up as it was a group effort between my former co-admins, fleur ( who deserves a large chunk of the credit for showing me the ropes and making everything so beautiful ) and saint ( whose tumblr blog i'm not familiar with rn — i believe they might have changed their url ? ) . we also incorporated a lot of member requests and have adapted it to the group's needs !

Hey there my fellow space exploring pals and writers from previously uncharted worlds! I am currently on the hunt for some sci-fi based goodness intertwined with an overly generous helping of drama, spaceships, lasers, aliens, romantic endeavours, intergalactic sized portions of chaos, moments of tenderness and heartbreaks, more lasers, some cool tech and a story that leaves us hanging on the edge of our seats whilst we eagerly await the next reply with a few unexpected plot related twists and turns thrown in to keep us on our toes. I’m not looking for anything based in other genres right now/with extreme amounts of realism so please keep that in mind when it comes to approaching me and reading through this ad.

-I am looking for someone who can write a minimum of at least three to four properly fleshed out and detailed paragraphs per response in third person past tense as well as a decent grasp on spelling, grammar and punctuation. One liners, single paragraph responses, rushed out replies with frequent spelling mistakes that go uncorrected and constantly swapping between tenses are a no go for me.

-I would like to aim for at least one to two responses per day/every other day, but I am open to planning a schedule with my partners depending on their overall availability so long as there are at least three days of the week where they are able to make a post for the rp and I’m given a heads up about any changes that may need to be made due to life related things outside of our control. I am not open to only receiving one response a week or less than that.

-I am looking for a long term rp partner who is also open to having multiple threads/plots/stories/etc running at the same time or at our leisure. I’m not looking for a short term story that is over and done with in just a couple of days before we part ways and never hear of each other ever again.

-I am in the AEST time zone. Whilst I have no trouble working with people who are in different time zones, please be aware that this might cause a bit of schedule clashing depending on how many hours behind or ahead of you I may be and what times you are available to chat with.

-I am a big fan of ooc chat and love nothing more than opening up discord on my phone to find that I have been flooded with messages containing ideas for the rp, silly little goofy character scenes, memes or even just a funny story about something that happened during the week. As long as I am not being spammed with “you there?” “When will you reply?” “Hello?” Or something similar, you are free to message me at any time even if I am not actively online.

-All writers and characters must be 20+. No exceptions will be made in regards to this rule.

-I only play male characters and they’re all aliens. If you do not like the idea of playing against aliens that may have/has fur, claws, fangs, tails, the ability to walk on ceilings, multiple limbs or just anything that doesn’t look like it could be anything else besides a regular earthborn human and lacks any noticeable features to help distinguish them as another species, then I am not the rper for you. I do not care if you wish to play as a human or alien provided it doesn’t look like a xenomorph or insectoid like alien, isn’t made from slime, doesn’t have magical powers, isn’t telepathic and can function in harsh or combative environments without automatically being severely handicapped in some way because their helmet broke and they can’t survive without it due to being unable to breathe without water or they’re blinded by regular lighting and cannot adapt to it.

-I often incorporate certain themes and topics in my stories which may include, but are not limited to: gore, violence, war, PTSD and how that may affect the way a character interacts with others, disabilites, major injuries or illnesses and how they’re treated, abuse, character loss or death, torture, etc. any and all limits will be discussed prior to the planning stages of the rp itself but please keep in mind that I’m not the kind of person who skimps on the dark and gritty parts of a story (barring a few very specific exceptions) so if you are not comfortable with this, I am not the rper for you.

-Romance is my bread, slow burn is my butter. Together they help create the perfect sandwich that I absolutely adore. Gimme that drama which comes with realising that the guy who was only a few seconds away from drawing his pistol and aiming it at your heart when you first met is kinda hot, let them simmer in the tension those feelings cause and stew flusteredly over the little things they both find cute about each other, engage in a bit of insulting (banter) that leaves the characters going “dang….they’re good.”, mercilessly plunge them into the pits of emotional despair when one of them gets hurt, let em see the best and worst sides of each other. Don’t be afraid to sling any ideas that may make it all the more dramatic-er wholesome either! Just don’t get too carried away and let it completely overtake the main story. Pairings wise MxM is what I prefer the most but I’ll also happily indulge in a FxM (with me playing the male character) couple as well. I will not play the role of a female character as part of either a primary or secondary romantic pairing so don’t come to me if you’re looking for someone to do that for you.

-Spice (smut) is a ingredient that I add to all of my rp’s and I don’t like to skimp (fade to black) on when it comes to sprinkling it in amongst the main storyline, but it’s also not something that will come first over anything else either. I like to keep things 50/50 when it comes to having a story to smut ratio and do not wish to have one exceed the other in excessive amounts. I am not a fan of strict dom/sub roles when it comes to bedroom dynamics and will only accept characters who are switches/tops who don’t mind swapping places every now and then, I will not play against submissive bottoms who have no intention of reciprocating or have to be constantly guided on what to do.

-Please keep your time travellers, dimension hoppers, androids, heavily augmented cyborgs,overly emotionally fragile characters, characters who need to be constantly looked after or guided by mine, characters who are blinding rays of sunshine that never feel any negative emotions whatsoever and those who may be more suited to a entirely setting, genre or role at home please.

-I only write on discord due to the ability to make servers so that everything stays neat and organised/easily accessible within its own little category. I will not write on any other platform.

-usual rp etiquette rules such as don’t control my characters,don’t rewrite a whole scene without asking first, don’t overstep any boundaries, let me know if something comes up (if possible), please actively contribute to world building/plotting and have fun also apply.

You’ve (hopefully) read the rules, now it’s time to see just exactly what kinds of stories I’ve got on offer for you. These are just the bare bones of each plot however, meaning there’s still tonnes of room for brainstorming or introducing other themes provided that they don’t completely change the original idea too much.

When it comes to who plays what, anything that is in bold is the role I wish to play whereas anything that isn’t is up for grabs and can be played by either of us. Again not everything is a hundred percent set in stone (barring the plots that have roles I’ve already chosen of course) so there is the opportunity for some slight tweaking to happen if you’d prefer to play as something else so long as it still meshes with the rest of the story.

STOWAWAY:

(Stowaway x captain)

A injured criminal who is on the run sneaks onboard a strangers ship in the hopes of taking it for themselves after just narrowly avoiding being arrested by the local law enforcement on the station they’ve been stranded on only to be found by the ship’s captain, who appears to be the only occupant of the ship itself given that there’s no obvious signs of any other crew members lurking around somewhere. After a brief struggle the criminal begs for the captain to not turn them in despite the bounty that has been placed upon their heads and reluctantly agrees to help them out with their business in exchange for shelter as well as find a way to pay them the amount of credits that the captain would earn by handing them over to the authorities.

SECOND CHANCES:

(Pilot x rescuer)

After narrowly escaping being captured by the authorities as a result of being framed for a crime they did not commit one of the intergalactic defence forces top pilots flees to a planet located within a system that’s considered to be outside of alliance occupied air space. Tired, injured and afraid the pilot abandons their ruined starfighter and attempts to find a place to stay the night as the weather begins to turn harsh before eventually collapsing in the mud several hours later. A local from a nearby settlement stumbles upon the pilot and brings them home whilst being completely unaware that the person they’ve rescued has been branded as a wanted criminal galaxies away from where they are now. At first the pilot is confused by this act of kindness, only to then realise that word of who they are as well as any news of the crime itself has not yet reached the people of this planet and accepts their rescuer’s offer to stay with them until they find their feet again not knowing that they’d end up sticking around for far longer than they originally intended.

MERCY:

(Pirate x alliance captain)

The most feared pirate in the known galaxies faces off against one of the greatest captains the alliance has ever had in their midst and manages to gain the upper hand whilst the ship they are on is badly damaged from the battle going on outside……only to hesitate from making the final blow once they recognise the captain’s face as belonging to an old friend who they believed had betrayed them many years ago. With the ship heading on a collision course with the nearest planet the pirate is forced to make a tough decision and flees with the captain in tow, both parties more than aware of the consequences their choices may unleash upon them as their escape pod enters the planet’s atmosphere.

ROLE REVERSAL:

(Slave x criminal)

A alliance captain is betrayed by their own crew and sold into slavery in exchange for a large amount of credits. After several months of being returned to the slave trader as a result of many failed 'purchases’ that have led to the captain being dubbed as too 'problematic’ for sale, one of the very criminals that they’d been tracking down prior to their crews unexpected mutiny buys them without a moment’s hesitation once they see just exactly who the person sitting miserably within the display cage is.

OATHBOUND:

(Officer x pilot)

A low ranking alliance officer who has been separated from their crew during a mission gone wrong and is now stranded on a backwater planet is unexpectedly saved from a gruesome fate at the hands of a less than friendly gang of smugglers by a freelance cargo pilot who is intent on keeping their reasons for intervening under a very strict lock and key. The officer strikes a bargain with the pilot in the hopes of finding their way back to their crew, only for the party responsible for their predicament to attempt to stop this reunion from happening in any way possible once they learn of the officer’s survival.

THE MISSION:

(Alien x human )

Seven. Seven alliance ships had disappeared without a trace or been destroyed by unforeseen yet suspicious circumstances. Mining asteroid explosions, ambush attacks, ship failures, all unfortunate yet unpredictable occurrences that were happening far too frequently for anyone to be able to just comfortably sit back and go on with life. With tensions between the alien and human race at an all time high, the alliance itself was desperately trying to find a way to keep the peace without causing a panic. Eventually, a proposal was made. In an all time first since the end of the great alien/human wars, an alien would be chosen and sent to work onboard a human ship. This was considered to be a very large step given many planets were still hostile to one another and the rumours circulating about the missing ships were sparking some strong reactions from both sides but the alliance was desperate….and so was the alien they were planning to send onboard. For them, it was their last and only chance to start a new life and to put a difficult past behind them. Little did anyone know, the appearance of this newcomer was more than just the first step towards changing life as many knew it for the known galaxies.

EXCHANGE:

A ship full of nobles that are on a voyage to celebrate the betrothal of their heirs and the new alliance between their planets is boarded by one of the most notorious pirates in the known galaxies after it accidentally strays into their territory. The pirate then demands that they be given the heir to one of the noble families in exchange for sparing the rest of them. Fearing for the welfare of their planets and the fate that may befall their best friend/secret lover at the hands of the pirate, the knight of the heir who is chosen begs to be taken instead whilst being under the impression that someone will be sent to rescue them…..only to find that’s not the case as time passes by.

JUST A PILOT:

The life of a captain was one which was filled with unnecessary and sometimes completely unwarranted fame, danger beyond anyone’s wildest imagination, a reputation which was far more heavily influenced by any slip ups that the local rumour mongers had caught wind of than good deeds and decisions which always weighed heavily upon their shoulders regardless of the outcome. It was also a well known fact that captains could either bestow a certain kind of glory upon their crew through their heroic deeds, or make their lives the very definition of hell. When a captain who has a reputation for regularly putting their crew through the emotional wringer and a temper that has yet to be matched or tamed by anyone is assigned a new recruit after one of their top pilots is killed in action, chaos of an entirely different kind is born.

TAKING OVER:

The lifespan of a captain could sometimes end up being tragically short. Thank you for taking the time to read my rules! This is a bit long, but I will do my best to highlight the important parts!

These are stated in no order of importance

1 - While having canon as a baseline is important, I do incorporate headcanons in my portrayal. My list of headcanons can be found through my "About Muse" link on the tagged post of my blog. My headcanons are mine and mine alone- so please don't think a certain way of Lyney due to my personal writing.

2 - I only write with mutuals- if you follow me, I will check out your blog asap! If you send me DMs/Asks in a malicious way to try and force me to write with you, I will block you. (This sounds scary but trust me, I am super laid back! If I don't follow you back right away, please don't take it as a no! I sometimes just need to see your writing/posting style to see if we are compatible!)

2.5 - Anons are perfectly fine! I just will not turn a series of anons into a roleplay. I will answer questions (example: Lyney what are you doing?) but when you start adding things like "I baked you a cake!" who is "I"? Those are roleplays. When you want Lyney to interact with you as a character- it needs to be off anon. A one-time warning will be given but past that, I will block if it goes uncorrected.

2.6 - Sending letters/notes are also fine, but do not expect anything past a one-time response. Commenting on threads is also okay (Example: "Oh I don't think he is coming back")

3 - I do write with OCs so feel free to follow me if you write those! Please understand that if I do not follow back, it isn't because your character is awful or anything, I just may not know how to interact! I ask that you please have a About Page for your muse!

4 - I am from *old tumblr days*, so I apologize if I am slow with the new formatting systems.

6 - Lyney has an extremely tragic backstory- and I do write rps regarding that. Thus, if you are under 18, I am not comfortable writing with you. I have siblings that are minors and it feels weird because all I can think about is writing with my younger siblings.

7 - NSFW content will be on this blog, but it will be deleted at will. I do not normally typically enjoy writing such content but if I am feeling up for it, I will dabble in it. If you are only here to send me NSFW asks- be prepared to never have those answered or to only have me answer them once in a blue moon.

7.5 - Even if it does get brought up, it will never become graphic. "Heavy Petting" is as far as it will ever go. Again, if you are looking to write with a Lyney blog that will do NSFW 24/7. This isn't the blog you're looking for.

Hey everyone!

We just wanted to touch base on some developing technical issues with Tumblr’s platform relative to how we use it for RP, as well as what the fixes will likely be going forward. It isn’t a fun topic, but unfortunately Tumblr has decided it’s a necessary one. We don’t claim to be experts on how these things work mind you, so this is just an overview based on what we understand.

As you all may have noticed Tumblr has been beta testing a new post editor for some months now, and we’ve largely been ignoring it since they’ve given us access to the legacy editor in the meantime. But as it seems has been the case for the past few days, newly made accounts don’t have the option to use the legacy editor at all. This has led us to the conclusion that they intend on forcing a rollout to every account in the near future, but we’re not sure when that might be.

Now why is this post editor change a big deal? Well, the community relies on a browser extension known as XKit (whether old or New XKit) to make RPing a little more convenient, and one of those features is the ability to edit the reblogs in a thread and trim them so each thread isn’t more than two or three or more replies long. The issue is that the new editor isn’t compatible with this XKit feature if you’re using one of the older versions of the extension, which is obviously an issue when some accounts can’t access the legacy editor at all and we expect the number of these accounts to increase.

It gets even more confusing when it comes to a solution for the new editor, because while one does exist it is completely reliant on your RP partner also using the new post editor for it to work. Which won’t be an issue once Tumblr makes everyone use the new editor, but in the meantime it means some of our members will not be able to trim threads and it will fall upon members using the old post editor to do this for them when they reply.

This solution is XKit Rewritten, a newer extension that is receiving constant support (unlike the old versions which have been abandoned and are gradually breaking). Along with having functionality comparable to the old versions, it also has a “Trim Reblogs” feature that you use on a reblog after you’ve posted it, and you can select old reblogs to remove. The problem is that this is incompatible with posts made using the “Editable Reblogs” feature of previous XKits because it incorporates reblogs into the post of the one reblogging it. Technically it’s confusing to explain in detail, so we’ll avoid the headache.

For the time being feel free to use whatever extension and post editor you feel comfortable with, this post is just more of a heads up about what’s happening and we would never force anyone to use an extension they don’t want to. We’re just wary that the time where we’ll be forced to abandon the old editor and XKit is on the horizon, and we don’t want our memberbase to be blindsided when it does happen.

Ok so I’m kinda weird cuz I love crossovers & I’ve been working on this silly little crossover narrative/story where my OC & the main 6 featured in this blog (Morty, Eusine, Steven, N, AZ & Guzma) all represent the 7 Chaos Emeralds and the first 7 Pokemon Regions. What can I say? I’m a sucker for symbolism. Obviously, the Sonic symbolism was only implied and never really affected any of the rp threads I wrote for here (and I’d obviously never force that narrative on anybody), but like the golden hedgehog wielding those magic mcguffins of chaotic power, I too found great pride and joy in writing for my favorite Pokemon characters from my childhood & adolescence. They are my gems, hence the name of the blog. ...As for the other two (Winona & Lysandre) I was just testing them out ._.;

is there anything you don’t like to write?

Besides the obvious (pedophilia/adult-minor ships, gore & incest), I strictly avoid NSFW (and by extension rape) for the sake of my sanity. Sure, one could argue that it’s due to my religion (I’m Christian), but honestly? It’s super boring and serves nothing to the plot. Sure, it may start off spicy and fun, but it gets stale very quickly, so that's why I never write it. Not to say I'm against NSFW rp in general, but I'll just stick with reading smut fics on Ao3 that do a much better service writing NSFW than I do ._.;

is there anything you really enjoy writing?

They say write what you know, and the only thing I know how to write is angst and character death. I've tried writing other things in the past like fluff or romance, but every time I've done so it always ended up being angsty, so I suppose this is my fate/curse now lol. It just comes natural to me, and it's the most fun thing for me to write, especially in the moments when there's that tiny sliver of hope that can seep through...only to be hopelessly crushed by my angsty hands c:

how do you come up with headcanons?

I'm noticing a strange trend in my headcanons where I'll connect two random pieces of info together: The biggest one probably being Guzma as a reincarnation of W.D. Gaster. To this day this is still a weird habit of mine, but it also contributes to my love for writing angst because I get the freedom to create more headcanons and backstory as to why this connection is possible. And usually, with headcanons like these, it all chalks up to past mistakes, curses, reincarnations, and all that fun morally-grey afterlife stuff, which also contributes to the angsty writing c:

Another headcanon I love to write is giving muses magical powers! This is pretty much a staple to my writing. I don't believe I ever got to fully develop this headcanon for my muses in this blog, but with 18 different elemental typings for Pokemon, it's fun to give my muses Pokemon typings as well to fit their character, like making Eusine a waterbender or Lysandre a firebender. It's also fun to figure out a narrative that can incorporate these powers for further character development and growth: Eusine will always carry a special place in my heart for being the waterbender that wanted to learn from the waterbending master (i.e. Suicune) 🥺

do you write in silence or do you play music?

Honestly I don't know how y'all write with music without having to either change the music cuz it doesn't fit the muse or because you have an earworm that's been ingrained in your mind for 9 days but yeah that's why I don't write with music c':

do you plan your replies or wing them?

Uh...define "planning"? I mean I'll proofread my responses 2 or 3 times to make sure I get everything that I want to address in my rp partner's response (which may contribute to how long it takes for me to reply I'm a bit of a perfectionist c':), but other than basic plotting I suppose I mostly wing it?

do you enjoy shipping?

Depends on the character and/or rp partner I'm writing with. Not to say I actively avoid it, but I feel like I need to get a feel for the writing first before I ship? There are some characters that I write for that are more accessible to ships than others (if that makes any sense), so it really depends on my mood and characterization ._.;

💋 Hii! 19+F Looking for a couple of long term rp threads! (19-26 only please!)

My literacy is literate to advanced literate! Meaning can can definitely hit past the discord word limit But honestly 2-3 paragraphs is enough for me right now lol got a little burnt out continually putting out huge walls of text 😅 so long as it has good grammar and is more than like, 2 sentences, whatever you bring to the table is cool with me!

My preferred genres are drama, angst, slice of life, age gaps thrown in there (legal ofc!!! I’ll never pass up the chance of playing an older character) maybe some hurt/comfort! This would all take place in a modern setting as I’m a little burnt out on fantasy atm X3 I’m more than happy to come up with plots together, or if you have any preexisting ideas I’d love to hear them as well! I do have a few plots loose plots that do involve relationship drama, single parents, rich x poor dynamic etc;!

I do not do smut! We could possibly incorporate some fade to black if it so should come to that point, but I’d largely prefer for us to focus on story!

I am hoping to find a long term LITERATE RP partner as well as a new friend. PLOTTING / WINGING IT / MEMES: I always used to be someone who's very much winging things on the go. But I like to plot partially now and look into possible directions with my partner to not get lost in the plot. The latter has happened to me way too often in the past. However, I say it here right away, I absolutely don't like to plot something from start to end. Sometimes I or my partner get a better idea while writing a reply and I'm sure we all know how a sudden change in plot can turn things awkward when everything was plotted through beforehand. So I rather just don't. As far as memes to threads go, sure! If I or my partner come up with a great pitch to a random prompt, there can be great threads out of that. But I also admit that, while I like random prompts, they can be difficult sometimes to reply to and incorporate into a scenario that would work for both of the muses. I have done so many prompt memes in the past, that I feel like I'm a little burnt out of them at the moment.

MULTI OR SINGLE: I rp with both likewise. Listen, I had single muse blogs only in the past and can see the pro and contras in both. But if someone changes their interests almost daily, they will hop blogs and muses all the time, regardless of whether they run a multi or single muse. So for me it's not about 'multi or single-muse' but whether someone found a balance in how they deal with their old and new fixations on their blog/s.

FLUFF: I love fluff. I'm legit a sucker for it and I'm guilty of wanting fluff threads when I don't feel very well. They're like my comfort food? Unfortunately, my muses here are all assholes by default unless they know someone well enough to adopt them into their asshole family. Except Bishop. Please send Bishop all the hugs. Yeah I love fluff but prefer writing it with people and muses I know.

ANGST:  I think angst can be entertaining and useful for muse development. It helps characters to understand each other better and either get them closer or have them drift apart. But tbh, I don't like writing with muses that are all ANGST ANGST ANGST in every.single.thread. It gets tiring fast. For example, I don't want Grum to be defined by their trauma only, even tho it is a great deal of who they are now. I rather wanna focus on them trying to get away from it. But I certainly DO love to delve into angsty themes when they come up.

SMUT: I've been thinking about that lately and I tried talking myself into 'I can write it once every while' before. But tbh, I'm no smut writer at all. I'm not opposed to letting the muses have some fun, but I generally prefer fading to black when the details kick in. I will remove my smut blog too, because I don't see myself using it. Things might get suggestive here once every while but yeah... my muses only get to have actual sex off-screen here for my own comfort.

6. Work I'm most proud of (and why): I'm going to cheat and pick a few:

ghost behind my eyes — at 10,143 words, it remains my longest self-contained one shot, and I'm really proud of the character work I did here. Christopher Smith and his character development are really important to me, and here's to hoping that will continue in Peacemaker season 2!

standing at a broken altar (asking if we feel relief) — represented a whole new creative venture for me, featuring characters I (at least at the time) had never written into fic before, and I'm someone who's... honestly pretty lapsed, religion-wise, and writing this made me think about faith, how it's questioned, tested, and found again, in a way I haven't in a while. That's a theme I'd like to explore more in future writing — and I'm planning to do more of this through Matt.

almost paradise — the story that's been a long time coming for me. Gamora is literally one of my favorite characters of all time, and to say I... did not handle Infinity War well is putting it very, very mildly; that movie came out not that extremely long after a big personal loss in my real life, so losing a character that dear to me at that time was something I took really hard. This is the first time I've actually acknowledged her death in a piece of writing, and I'm proud of myself that I did.

7. Work I'm least proud of (and why): none of them? I don't usually post something unless I feel pretty good about it.

A time when writing was really, really hard: Honestly, my biggest challenge surrounding writing is just... working around my own chronic illness (which involves episodic fatigue) and mental health struggles. For one of those reasons or both at the same time, there were periods of the year that made writing more difficult than others. I'm working on incorporating smaller, more manageable writing goals during those periods so that I can still keep working without exhausting myself.

10. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you: I wasn't expecting Matt Murdock Slut Era to extend for as long as it did, and yet here we are.

11. A favorite excerpt of your writing: from almost paradise:

What he deserves, he thinks, is to be left here, alone with ghosts because that’s all he’s fit to provide company for — maybe until he becomes one himself. Because, yeah, if Ego had been telling the truth, for all his words had been worth, with the destruction of his planet, Peter can do that now. That might actually be better for everyone involved, because all he does, clearly, is pull people into a total shitstorm or get them killed. Sometimes both.

But people don’t ever really get what they deserve, do they? His mom, the kindest person the universe would probably ever know, hadn’t deserved to die from a tumor in her brain, put there by an evil man she’d chosen to give her huge heart to.

And he doesn’t deserve a hand reaching toward him, pulling him up from the floor.

12: How did you grow as a writer this year: My writing got a lot smuttier LMAO But it also just... reflected a "fuck it, we ball" type of attitude that I'd been slowly embracing. Inventing ships, writing whatever the fuck I want. I've grown a lot, and I feel really liberated.

13. How do you hope to grow next year: I hope to continue just... following my bliss. I've come a really long way in not caring as much about an invisible audience and just writing whatever I want, and I aim to keep doing that. I aim to keep believing in myself in that way and going the distance with my screwball ideas.

14. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc): Would like to thank the discographies of Massive Attack, CHVRCHES, and Taylor Swift for fueling my writing. Also anyone when I said "I'm gonna put these blorbos together" who said "do it".

15. Anything from your real life show up in your writing this year: I mentioned it before, but almost paradise was written during a depressive episode and I've joked it was me flinging out all my unresolved grief issues onto the page instead of going to therapy in December (using, you know, one beloved character of mine grieving another beloved character's death as a proxy), so. yes.

16. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers: Don't write to cater to an audience; write to cater to yourself. If you love what you do, readers can see that love, and they'll believe in it, too. Readers are really good at telling what is and isn't genuine, so the best thing to do is just... be yourself.

17. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year: I have an existing WIP to finish, and a few more ideas in the can! Featuring: more Vigilmaker, more self-indulgent blorbo ships I invented (featuring either Matt Murdock or Rich Rider or both likely), and GOTG Vol 3 about to wreck my life, so of course I would imagine a good bulk of my writing this year will be related to it. This is all I'll say.
