In the heart of a ancient forest, Theo approached a circle of hooded witches. The air was filled with dark energy as they chanted incantations. One witch stepped forward, holding a vial of glowing liquid.

Theo smirked. He took the vial and headed towards Beacon Hills, ready to set his plan in motion.

Late one night, Theo cornered Stiles in an abandoned warehouse. Before Stiles could react, Theo uncorked the vial and drank the potion. A blinding light enveloped them, and Theo felt his body morphing, bones and flesh twisting painfully.Theo dropped to his knees, gasping as his skin bubbled and stretched. His bones crackled, reshaping themselves with excruciating precision. Muscles tore and reformed, leaving him trembling and drenched in sweat. Stiles screamed, clutching his head as the same agonizing transformation wracked his body.

When the light finally dimmed, Theo looked down at his hands—Stiles’ hands. They felt strange, smaller and more delicate. He ran his fingers over his new face, smirking at the unfamiliar contours. He could feel the new strength in his limbs, the quick reflexes that came with Stiles' lean frame.

Theo stood up, a wicked grin spreading across his new features. He glanced at a shattered mirror on the warehouse wall and stared at his reflection. Stiles’ brown eyes looked back at him. Theo tilted his head, examining the angles of his new face, the way the light caught the sharp lines of his jaw.

“Perfect,” he murmured, his voice now carrying Stiles’ distinct timbre. “Absolutely perfect.”

Meanwhile, Stiles, trapped in Theo’s body, stared in horror. He looked down at his new, larger hands, the claws tipping each finger, and felt the raw power coursing through his unfamiliar muscles. His mind raced.

“No...no, this can't be happening!” Stiles shouted, his voice a guttural growl that echoed through the empty warehouse. He stumbled towards the mirror, recoiling at the sight of Theo’s reflection. “What have you done?!”

Theo, now fully embracing his new identity, shrugged nonchalantly. “Just playing field, Stiles. Or should I say... Theo?”

As Theo adjusted to his new body, he played the part of Stiles flawlessly, gaining Scott's trust and access to the pack's secrets. Scott and the others noticed "Stiles" acting strangely, but they attributed it to the stress of their constant battles.

Stiles, as Theo, tried to warn Scott, but his new appearance made it impossible. The pack saw him as an enemy, and Scott, though conflicted, couldn’t risk trusting him.Theo’s plan progressed smoothly. As “Stiles,” he sowed seeds of doubt and discord within the pack. He subtly undermined Scott’s decisions and manipulated events to weaken his leadership.

Teen wolf - Alpha needs his pack Part 2.

Hey, y'all already know who we are right? We're like two of the most popular guys at school. Or maybe the coolest. Or... ok forget I said that. We are just bestfriends, by day we do normal shirt together by some nights Scott is doing his wolf stuff and I try to help out as much as I can.

But recently sometihng has changed. Scott started to act more dominant. We spoke less and less. He is so focused on the pack and the dangers that might come, but that's not how Scott usually is. I'll try to talk to him, since Scott is distancing himself from me now. HE EVEN GOT A TATTOO. Without me! We were talking getting one and he didn't wait for me. Ok, maybe my dad would be against it, but I would resist. Maybe, for a while. Ok, I wouldn't dare, but you know. He could have said something.

I think I was getting really desperate. My best friend is not talking to me, everyone else would think the way that I do. I knew If I were in his pack he couldn't ignore me. But if my dad found out I was bitten someday, he would flip. Or maybe I would too. The first transformation must be horrible. Which is why I contacted one witch. She is not evil, but doesn't work for free. And I still didn't have an idea how to get Scott to talk to me, but she would know what to do. Wouldn't she?

We met up in the forest. She brough a box with her with all sorts of potions and equipment. She was a middle aged, very beautiful woman, nice hair, leather jacket.

"Hey. You're not the witch from Snow White I was expecting."

What does that even mean? I drank the whole vial and she just smiled at me. I hope that's a good sign. A smile from a witch. Sure

Suddenly a noise echoed through the forrest. That sounded like a howl. The witch was already running away from me.

In a minute Derek appeared behind me. "What the hell are you doing here?"

I was really surprised to see him, but also not. The wolves always protect the Beacon Hills so if there was a creature tresspassing, they would know. I tried to sound confident. "Well I could be asking you the same thing"

"Do you even know that the Dread doctors are in Beacon Hills?! Has no one told you they pose a threat, Stiles?!? They want to get to Scott and you are parading in a forrest doing god knows what."

"I was just... on a midnight walk. It's very healthy actually. You should try sometimes. But I guess you run a lot around the town during the night. Right. Anyway..."

"Stiles, shut the fuck up and let's go."

He touched my arm and then my whole world flipped. It must have happened really fast, but for us it felt like ages. I even think I saw Derek's aura? soul? I don't know. But those things switched places in our bodies. They positioned themself and after that I opened my eyes again.

What is Stiles Stilinski?

Okay so am I really gonna talk about a character from a show that ended in 2017 and was relatively mediocre with weird plotlines that sometimes went nowhere at all? Yes, yes I will. And am I really gonna talk about something that has been talked about multiple times by multiple people for multiple years and that is just now tired and worn down? Yes, yes I will.

Also, I will give credit to @anchoredtether , who made this post, which I will use also as a source for the points I will make here.

Glad we got that out of the way. Now let's go.

So, we all know the whole deal with Teen Wolf's Stiles Stilinski, teenager of Polish descent who has ADHD and anxiety, as well as both daddy and mommy issues, who uses sarcasm as a defence mechanism.

In the fandom there has been a very strong theory that Stiles is a magic user, ever since episode 8 in season 2, when Deaton tells Stiles he needs to be the spark

This is obviously just an analogy and means nothing, right? Wrong!. As pretty soon after, Stiles has to use Mountain ash to close a circle of mountain ash, yet before he can close it, he runs out of it, he even shows he has no more ash. Then, however, he closes his hand, and seems to almost will mountain ash into existence, since a small bit falls from his hand, managing to close the circle. After that, he breaks the circle without touching it.

Most of the theories regarding Stiles' status of a magic user/supernatural being stem from season two, since this season has many moments where he achieves the impossible. BUT, before I talk about that, I'll just talk a little about him pre-show.

So, Stiles had three childhood friends, Scott, Theo and Heather; he's also had a lifelong crush on Lydia. Out of these four people he seemed to be drawn to, Scott turned out to be a True Alpha, Theo was turned into a Chimera and Lydia was a banshee; I know it was all a coincidence and such, but even Stiles himself said "One time is an accident, two times is a tragedy, three times is a pattern". Meaning THIS cannot be just a simple coincidence.

Now yes, back to the show.

So, again, season two is where we begin to see the whole "Stiles may not be fully human" thing, not only with his scene with Deaton but also with a scene in "Abomination", in which Stiles (Who often reminds people he's the weakling human) manages to spend 2 hours holding Derek (An Alpha Werewolf who's extremely heavy) in a pool while Derek is completely paralysed (something that only professional coast guard swimmers can do) and even then, many times he just randomly pops out some inexplicable strength all throughout the show (Such as knocking over a vending machine, something that weighs around 400 pounds or even more)

In episode 10 of season 3 (The Overlooked) Cora Hale, a werewolf, is dying from mistletoe, yet Stiles manages to save her by giving her CPR, and she only revives after he gives her mouth to mouth. And in the finale, he gets into a car crash and develops a head injury, an injury which should absolutely render him either concussed or severely traumatised with vertigo and unable to do much at all; yet he somehow manages to run through a massive storm and try to find a cellar at night with no idea of its location save for a vague idea. Yet somehow, he managed to find the EXACT LOCATION he needed to find.

In that very same finale, once they rescue their parents, the cellar they're in starts to collapse, and Stiles, using an ALUMINIUM BAT manages to hold the whole structure up from collapsing. Which like, listen I get that aluminium bats are strong, but you cannot tell me they can do THAT.

Then, in season 3B, Stiles is possessed by the Nogitsune, a dark kitsune. Now, his possession alone raised questions, because the Nogitsune possessed Stiles, the weak human of the pack, when he could've possessed hunters! He specifically targeted Stiles.

Obviously, the Nogitsune did seem to have powers, but he still was inside a human body, in this body he managed to somehow survive being electrocuted when Stiles was tased by Chris, managed to break metal cuffs without getting hurt, and he was also supposedly dying of frontlobal dementia, and is later completely fine, we are lead to believe that it's a trick by the Nogitsune but like, what if it wasn't? throughout this whole ordeal he also seems to lose the ability to read, yet later regains it (I seriously doubt that wasn't Stiles' willing himself to regain his skill).

In this part I will copy what anchoredtether said.

Stiles can suddenly hold down werewolves. Angry IED werewolves and spazzing werewolves dying from rare mistletoe, might I mention. Sure, Scott’s an alpha werewolf, but Liam is really strong, Derek has even mentioned that. Stiles shouldn’t have been able to hold him down. And again with Brett, Derek had very little werewolf strength at this point and Stiles was able to hold Brett down. He's also able to suddenly have control over shifted Malia who desperately wants to crush his bones? Malia clearly had no control over her shift, and he was able to influence her to shift out of it. (that’s something I’ve only seen Alphas do when they roar). There was a meta about this, but the way Stiles held the lacrosse stick from Coach while realising it was the weapon in the stab pictures, there should have been no way for him to keep holding it with only human strength. The only way Coach gets it back from Stiles’ grip is when Stiles is paying more attention to the pictures than the stick.

In "The Chemist", Stiles is being held at gunpoint by The Chemist, however, he is saved by rafael McCall, who shoots him in the head. anchoredtether talked about this scene in the same post I linked, and linked another post, made by @darachmoon explaining the argument, which I will link right here. Quoting anchoredtether:

Exit wounds are typically larger than entry wounds, and the wound on the Chemist’s forehead was bullet size, very precise. Another thing, is what McCall says later on in his testament:

“Having heard the perpetrator’s threat and countdown, I made visual confirmation of the barrel of the weapon pressed to the potential victim’s head. Determining the danger to be imminent, I felt no choice but to respond with the use of deadly force.”

There’s a few things up with this statement. A) McCall never saw the barrel of the gun. He couldn’t have if he was behind the Chemist and made that shot to kill him. It’s physically impossible, unless he somehow sidestepped to see the gun and then stepped back behind the Chemist to shoot him, which if that’s the case, Stiles would have seen him. B) He never says that he shot the Chemist. In a statement like that, you would say flat out that you shot the Chemist.

Which leads me to believe, with the additional conviction that the hole in the Chemist’s head is an entry wound and not an exit wound (and that there’s 10 bullets from McCall’s gun), is that McCall is leading them to believe he shot the Chemist to cover up the fact that it was actually Stiles

There's also a lot more I couldn't touch/Talk about, but anchoredtether's post is just soo good and amazing that it easily explains a lot, if not all, of the reasons behind this theory of Stiles being a magic user (Whether that's a witch, a spark or psychic)

Considering Derek's the most desirable bottom around, how each guy from the pack prefere to fuck/use him? The favorite sex position to each one?

Sc*tt stans are everywhere annoying me as if they’re getting paid to do it. I’m doing a rewatch with my mom and we’re coming up on season 5. This has been bothering me lately, so I’m going to rant about it.

We’re all aware that Scott uses Hayden as bait to lure the Dread Doctors to the school and he doesn’t tell her or get her consent on the matter. Liam and Hayden are rightfully upset and Liam makes Scott promise to do everything he can to protect Hayden.

Liam: This plan sucks!

Scott: You got a better one? Kids are dying, and she's next! So, somebody has to do something. Somebody has to save everyone. So somebody's got to be the bait!

Liam: Scott... Promise me you'll do everything you can to save her. Scott-- promise.

Scott: I'll do everything I can. I promise.

Hayden gets injured severely and is dying. Liam reminds Scott he promised to do everything he could for Hayden, this includes biting her, which Scott refuses to do.

Here’s where I take huge issue with this.

I have no idea the odds of Hayden surviving the bite. Scott admits that he thinks she may be too weak to survive. But Melissa and Theo explain or imply that she’s not surviving if he does nothing.

Hayden has a 100% chance of dying if he chooses not to bite her.

If you have two labelled barrels in front of you, the one on your left contains 100 oranges, the one on your right contains 95 oranges and 5 apples. Someone holds a gun to your head and says “close your eyes and select an apple from the barrel or I kill you” you might try to find an apple amongst the oranges, even if the chances are slim because there’s still a chance. You’re not going to reach into the barrel with zero apples unless you don’t want to choose an apple.

He chose to let her die. A 5% chance of survival is better than 0%. The reason he didn’t want to bite her is because he knew there was a high chance she wasn’t going to make it. Remember the conversation Scott had with Morrell in season 3?

Morrell: He wants to make a killer out of you. That's what he does.

Scott: But, if I kill someone, I can't be a True Alpha, right?

Morrell: Exactly.

If Hayden died when Scott bit her, that would technically be on him--at least it would be in his mind. She was going to die either way, he may as well keep his power.

Scott started to say something to probably send her home when Yn heard a voice she though she'd never hear in her lifetime, a voice she could only hear in dreams.

She rushed between liam and scott and into the kitchen and saw theo pushing himself to stand, blood falling from his nose.

His eyes widened when they met hers and yn drew in a sharp breath looking around, but scott liam and hayden were all looking between the both of them.

"Your'e here?"she whispered

"Hey baby" he answered giving her a small smile eyes full of tears.

Yn gave a breathy laugh and ran toward him wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his torso.

Theo held her tightly against him chuckling "oh god youre here, youre here, youre not dead"yn repeated aginst his neck as she held tightly onto him.

"Im here princess. And i dont plan on living any time soon" theo murmured aginst her hair and then kissed her cheek. Yn let go and theo set her down on the floor putting a hand aginst her cheek. Both their eyes were full of tears as they both chuckled happily. Then theo bent down and kissed her, putting both his hands against her face, lips fitting perfectly together moving in slow motion.

Yn pulled away after a moment and looked up to him smiling "I thought you were dead"

"Well not exactly "

"But scott said-" yns words hitched and she whipped around to face Scott. "You lied to me?" She demanded.

Scott blinked and nodded"yes, because i knew-"

"Where on earth has he been this past 3 months?"

"On hell with his sister" scott answered

Yn pursed her lips in a tight line and shook her head "how could you?! Scott ive trusted you with my life and you just couldnt keep the only person ive ever loved safe?"

"Yn hes KILLED people, he killed his own sister, he killed ME, he hurt your dad-"

I though you were the true alpha"yn snapped"i though you were the one with the heart of gold, the one who belived in second chances! The one who actually cared!" Yn swallowed down the tears that were threatening to fall" I gess i was wrong"

"I did what I had to do to protect the pack" scott said defended himself.

"Dont you think I know!" Yn screamed her eyes flashing their signature violet " I would do anything for the pack, to keep everyone safe, Im the one who tries to keeps everybody safe. But when it comes down to it YOU couldent keep the Only person I've ever loved safe, ive never asked for anything scott. Not once. Why on earth did you lie to me?"

Scott couldent find the right words he knew yn was angry, and he also knew she would do anything to protect the people she loved "I knew you'd raise hell if necessary to bring him back" he answered

"Yes I would!scott i tried to kill myself because i felt a gaping whole on my chest. I had constant nightmares and you saw me go through all that because you tried to keep the pack safe?because yo knew ill bring him back?!" Yn squintedher eyes dangerously "i genuinely despise you scott MCcall"

"Yn listen im sorry-" scott said trying to apologize

"You could have said that around 3 months ago dont you think?"

Yn turned reached for theo's hand who had been staying silent through all the conversation as well as the others. He took her hand and let himself be gided toward the door.

"Were are you going?" asked scott blocking their way

"Im living and theo is coming with me, try to stop me and I WILL raise hell" yn threatened

Scott moved out of the way and tried to look at his betas for help but hayden only shrugged "shes right" and liam went to follown them, katana in hand.

"Yn!" Liam called before they could exit the house

Yn turned around to face him and liam extended the katana for her to take"you would problay want this" he tould her

Yn gave him a small smile as she reached for the katana" thanks liam"

Liam nodded and looked at theo who gave him a silent thanks by giving him a nod wich he returned.

When they exited the house and theo saw his truck he gave her a small smile " you kept it"

Yn shrigged and gave him a tighed liped smile"its yours, it just felt like the only thing i had left from you." She reached the keys out to him " you drive"

"Nah give me a few days to adjust on being back"

Yn gave him a small nod "ok" she walaked toward the deivers side as theo got into the passangers.

Yn turned on the ignition, and once theo was in started driving home.

"Why did liam let you out?"

"He thought i still had Josh's power" he kept his gaze on the road " but I didnt"

"You dont have it anymore?"

"No, Joshs or tracy's im back to good old me" he answered giving her a sad little smile

"Thats great, I like old you" she spared a glance at him with a smile" its actually my favorite you"

Theo laughed and took her hand giving it a smalla squeez. Then as if he caughed a smell of something he opened small compartment between the seats.

"Uh dodnt open that" yn said trying to stop him but he just gave her a puzzled loom and pulled out a bottle of vodka half empty

"Or do..." yn said pursing her lips on a tight line and kepping her eyes fixed on the road.

Theo looked from the bottle to her eyebrows raised "didnt know you drinked"

" I didnt."

"Does this have to maybe do with the fact that you said earlier you almost killed youself" he asked her quietly. Knowing he was walking on thin ice." Uh.. yeah" she answered her eyes till fixed in the road

"What happened?" His voice full of concern

Yn took a minute to answer "You were gone. You were Dead. And i just wanted to forget everything. Everybody was sympathetic but i knew they didnt even mean it. Everybody hated you" yn looked at theo who nodded at her to continue "so i took the bottke my dad kept hidden and downed it. I felt awful the next day. And thats an understatement, but just for a minute you know. I felt fine. I didnt feel anything anymore. So I took your truck and started driving every night to the look at point and sometimes malia found me there. Completely wasted. And thats how it went for 2 months. I went to school, locke myself in my room and do homework. Hit the shit out of my punch bag. And then drive to the look out point. Till one day i got in a fight with stiles and i decided that i didnt want to live anymore. So i downed a bottle of sleeping pills with vodka"

Theo drew in a sharp breath as he heard how much he actually meant to yn. How much she loved him, and it startled him. Be ause he thought he wasent meant to be loved.

"Dad found me in my room half an hour later and rushed me to the hospital were i spent 1 week in a bed"yn continued "it was awful. Dad made me promise him id never do it again. I actualky felt bad for everyone. They were all so worried. Stiles didnt live me out of hes sight till. Well you know.. got taken."

Once she parked the car in the driveway she spared a glace at theo.

He had tears in his eyes as he looked at her. Her hand securedly in his.

" Im so sorry" he whispered

"No oh god no theo" yns hand quickly went to his face " baby its not your fault, i shoulent have told you now"

"No, im glad you told me" he said swallowing down his tears " do you really love me that much?"

"To the point were i would kill myself to be with you, YeS" yn aswered lokking into his eyes " yes theo I love you, and i would do anything for you. dont. You. Ever. Doubt That.:

"I love you too yn. I love you so much" theo said gently squeezing the hand he held in his." Don't doubt that'

"Trust me. I don't " yn answered with a breathy laugh.

Theo rolled his eyes at her and then gave her a peck in the lips." So what do you plan on doing with this" he asked taking the bottle and lifting it

"Just live it in the car,dad would kill me if he knew I had that"

"Right" then he bent down and slided the bottle under his seat"there you go"

Yn chuckled and opened the door climing out of the car "so dads at work wich means we wont have to undergo akward questioning" she informed theo as they walked toward the doorway. Yn opened it and stepped in theo behind her. "Are you hungry? There's pasta. I can heat it up real quick"

"Uh no thanks, liam bought take out" theo answered smiling down at her.

"Kay" yn grinned back at him and took his hand leading him toward her room.

"Take a bath. You kind of smell" she said as they walked in, scruching her face into a smile

"Geez so hard" answered theo in mock pain. Yn just laughed and walked toward her drawer. Bent down and opened the botton one and pulled out one of theos shirt and pants.

"Here you go" she said straightening up and handing the clothes to him.

"I dont want to know?"

"There are clean towels in the bathroom "yn said ignoring him.

"Thanks mom" he jocked and kissed her cheek as he walked past her.

Yn stood there for a moment till she heard the water running with a big smile on her face.

He was back. Theo was finally back and alive. And soon they would get everyone the ghostriders took and everything would be alright.

Then she took off the taktop she had and her bra and pulled on an oversized shirt. And since she already had her pajama pant on climed to bed. Resting her back against the pillows.

She bent forward and retrieved a book next to her bedside. She was resting back comfortably when a notification rang on her phone. She 5ook it from the night table and ooened it to see it was Liam.

"Hey baby, liam asks where do we need 5o meet to get to the power thing"yn called

"Oh you mean the generator? Tell him its in the reserve" he answere from the bathroom.

"Okay...... uh, he asks 10 or 11 am, 11 right?

"Yeah" theo opened the door pulling on his shirt

Theo sat down in the bed next ro her his back against the headboard.

"You look cute with your hair all wet" yn commented smiling up at him.

"The hunger games" yn answered lifting the book up.

"I saw the movie but never read the book"

"Youre welcome to read them anytime. This is actually the second book but the firt one has to be somewhere in my bookshelf."

"Ill take you up that offer" he muttered.

Then he gently slapped his tights gesturing her to come over" come here" he told her, more like a question that something else.

Yn smiled and sat on his lap. Her legs to one side and her head below the crook of his neck. She took one of his hands in hers and started playing with his fingers, while he ran his fingers through her hair with his other one. He pressed a kiss on the top of her head breathing her in, finally feeling as if he was finally home whit her in his arms.

"I never meant for you to get hurt" he whispered closing his eyes

" what do you mean?"yn softly asked him running her thumb softly on the top of his hand.

"I never meant it to be like this love, i never meant for you to get hurt. Ill be better yn. Ill be good" he muttered resting his chin on top of her head. yn could hear him sniffle as a tear rolled down his cheek "ill be good. I will try to be better. I will try to make things right. I shouldent have done what I did. I shouldent have hurt them. I shouldn't have been what ive been all this years. Ive been so cold. So heartless. So mercyless" he choked out tears falling. Yn held his hand betwee both of hers tightly. Letting him pour his feelings out." but yn. It scares me. All the blood in my hands terrifies me. And maybe. Maybe im waking up. Today. Ill be good. Ill be good" he sobbed. yn lifted her head ane put her arms around his neck letting him cry into her neck " I'll love the world like I should. I promise ill be good, for everyone I've ever hurt. For everything good ive ever doubted. For all the pain ive brought to you. For everything ive done all this years. For all those hipes and dreams ive killed. And for ever doubting you" he sobbed. Yn held him close as a few of her tears fell into his shirt. "Ill be good, I"ll be good" he repeated again

"I know you will theo" yn whispered " and promise ill be here. I promise I will always be here"

Theo snuggled his face into the crook of her neck and rounded his arms around her waist holding her close.

They sat there, holding each other. Till in the end yns eyelids closed without her consent, and she dozed off.

Theo felt her breath deepened and knew she had fallen asleep. He cautiously, trying not to wake her, rearranged the pillows. He leaned over and turned off the lights, and layed her in the mattress, tyen he laid down his front pressed to her back and rounded one of his arms around her waist.

"Mhh?" Yn hummed sleeply"sorry i just didnt sleep last night" she apologized sleeply

"Hey, its all right" theo cooed and yn turned around rounding one arm around his torso, snuggling closer and buring her face into his chest.

And there. They finally felt happy, like some part off them had finally returned. They felt like home

I finally made it to season 5 of teen wolf. I am actually liking this season a lot this time around. Don't get me wrong, I think the whole idea of Chimeras is WHACK. But I gotta give them props for putting a riff between Stiles and Scott as well as having a plot about what Scott/the pack would do if someone tried to join them. I wish they had simply done that as the main plot of season 5 (a?). I think a step away from having a wilder and crazier big bad and an ever expanding world of "Lore" (wereJaguars, berserkers, kitsune, hellhounds, etc etc.) I remember the first time around I could not stand how they had to add new were whatevers or new supernatural things. It got to the point where nobody was special and everyone was supernatural. It was so stupid. I really can't articulate why this was so stupid other than it being a complete departure from reality - though as I type this out I can't help but think of the 1 million different were animals / shapeshifters in true blood/sookie stackhouse novels and how I LOVE THAT. I also think there was a dissolving of the world's logic/magical logic taking place by adding more and more magical creatures. It was Exasperated by the chimeras. They literally exist outside the laws of the supernatural and truly i could not fuck with that. It was so fucking preposterous. You're telling me after hundreds of years, someone has just now cracked the code to supernatural DNA and that just so coincides with Scott being alive and them reawakening the nematon?

I think it would have been better for character development and audience attraction to the show for them to have taken a step back from having a crazy big bad and focused solely on the politics of the pack. They should have had season 5a been about new members trying to join the pack (Basically the Theo situation but without the dread doctors element). They could have gone deeper into the riff between Scott and Stiles. Really showing the trait that makes Scott a true alpaha could potentially be a huge weakness. Showcase that Scott might be a bit too trusting, almost naive in a way. That he is often times giving the benefit of the doubt when he shouldn't, that Stiles ,though he is paranoid, can be a fantastic judge of character and Scott can rely on that more often. They could maybe have it be a group of people trying to get into the pack for varying reasons or something. (and i know i had just said to do without a big bad, BUT) If they did want to have a big bad that season i think it would have been interesting to see Scott and his pack fail (either due to infighting that causes tension or they're simply overpowered/out maneuvered). Maybe have the season 5a ending could be a victory for the big bad. Then have the 5b season be all about Scott having to work with an other pack(s) to overcome the big bad. To show what it would be like to work alongside other packs and what that dynamic would be like. We get to see other alpahas Briefly, however the opportunity to explore other pack dynamics / alpha dynamics was never fully taken.

Alos, it's WILD that Scott's Dad is just straight up out of the picture again and they never talk about it?? THat was a HUGE deal in season 3. I liked exploring the dynamic between scott and his dad.

Would it ever come back? Did quintin do that or did theo subconsciously?

Ah, so this requires me to both give you the answer, and also admit that I goofed up originally writing it. The initial answer for why Theo’s connection with Scott was severed, which remains true, is that when Quentin bit Theo, Theo became Quentin’s beta. So he wasn’t part of Scott’s pack anymore, and his connection was to Quentin.

Where I goofed (as someone kindly pointed out), was that when Scott kills Quentin in the story, and therefore becomes the alpha of the Chemult pack as well, the connection between him and Theo would have come back: Scott would have gained it with all the Chemult pack members. My after-the-fact explanation for it was that Theo was still too weak for it really to work, especially with the distance, but I feel only the slightest shame in admitting that was in fact a mistake on my plotting part.

But yes—Quentin biting Theo to turn him in Quentin’s beta, rather than Scott’s, and sever Theo’s connection to the McCall pack, was 100% intentional. That was his revenge, along with keeping Theo hostage, not necessarily believing that Scott would go as far as he did to get Theo back. But then Scott did! So it’s a (somewhat) happy ending.

Unpopular opinion:

What Theo did to the pack was worse than whatever Peter or any other villain did

Hear me out...

A lot of people talk about how Theo didn't deserve going to hell and that the pack forgave Peter and Deucalion (both of them tried to kill them more than once) but never truly forgave Theo and how it is not fair but I think they are forgetting that Theo didn't only try to kill them.

He planned the whole thing. He found every member's weakness and used it. He ripped the pack apart from the inside. He turned them all against each other and tried to take Scott's place as the Alpha. We don't really know what it did to the pack bonds.

Until Theo and even after him the pack could rely on each other. When Peter tried to kill them they had someone watching their backs. When Deucalion came along they could fight him off because they were together.

With Theo pulling the strings...

Theo killed his sister when he was nine years old and then spent a decade with the Dread Doctors, working for them, killing for them, bringing kids to them so they can turn them to chimeras. I think he was looking for the way out and he did so the only way he knew.

In the scene when Theo kills Scott you can see how much he hates the True Alpha. He is everything Theo never got a chance to be. He is a cheap knock-off of the supernatural creature, not even his heart is his own. He is a creature made from hate and rage and with his skills the pack couldn't just let him go. No one knows just how many packs he ruined before coming to Beacon Hills.

Don't get me wrong, I know the hell changed him. When Liam brought him back, it became clear that all he wanted to do was survive.

Scott couldn't save Theo because Theo would never let him. He resent him. In his eyes Scott was a do-gooder that didn't know anything about suffering.

Liam was the one who showed and taught him different ways. The beta with angry issues was one of the few people from the pack that knew how it feels to have the beast crawling at your skin and still chose to be good. So, Theo learnt.

I think that the pack forgave Theo eventually. Maybe it took years after the war or maybe he was forgiven even before Monroe fled Beacon Hills but I don't think they ever truly trusted him again. In their eyes he will always be a wild card. They don't know anything about his time with the Doctors and I think they don't even want to ask. Theo might become a pack ally, maybe even part of the pack, but he will never be truly trusted because what he was capable of doing and probably still is capable of doing and just chooses not to, makes him unreliable.

I hope this makes sense...

my official teen wolf seasons ranking because i just finished the whole show and need to talk about it:

#1: season 3b (duh)

this is unanimous in the fandom, and i think it’s 90% to do with dylan o’brien getting the opportunity to be a great actor. everyone say “thank you dylan o’brien.”

also the only time teen wolf (the show) committed, grew some balls, and killed a main character off. good for them (until the movie, but let’s not talk about that yet!)

i have a lot of issues with it, as i do with every season— mostly having to do with the pacing and the poor foundation the villain of the season was set up on. teen wolf just kept throwing new bad guys and lore at us and expected the audience to not be confused as hell???

anyways…

#2: season 5a

i actually really liked the dread doctors! i think the first half of season 5 is stronger than the second half because the dread doctors are the main villains. the doctors have arguably the best character designs in the whole show. they looked cool and the way they moved was cool.

this season also gave us theo, which i love the idea of and somewhat liked the way they used him. could’ve done more with him as an antagonist, and also should have utilized scott and liam’s pack dynamics more.

#3: season 1

nostalgia, mostly.

no other notes.

#4: season 2

also here for nostalgia, but at least the plot of mostly coherent? that reason alone, and the addition of isaac lahey and cora hale <3, is why it’s placed above the others below.

but matt was a terrible character and his motivations were stupid. never should have existed. at least he died.

#5: season 6a

the cinematography was a big step up from every other season. making this season half easier on the eyes made the plot more palatable for me.

the wild hunt plot was… fine? i guess? was crammed in very clumsily, but all villains kind of are in teen wolf. the insane lore drops were especially diabolical this season though.

#6: season 3a

i liked that the villain of this half (the alpha pack) was set up prior to their appearance, making them one of the few villains that made sense… but even being coherent couldn’t save it from feeling rushed.

the alpha pack plot should have been its own season, not crammed into the first half to make room for a whole new plot in the second half. teen wolf just never knew when to let up on the gas pedal.

i liked the mystery sub-plot of the ritualistic murders, but its conclusion fell flat for me. didn’t care for jennifer’s storyline at all.

honestly? this half season and 6a were really close for me, but 6a’s cinematography just barely won it that #5 spot. kali’s feet claws didn’t help either.

#7: season 5b

the weak link of season 5. the dread doctors were more interesting without the beast of gevaudan and all that bullshit with eichen house.

the beasts’ design was ugly and is most of the reason why i don’t like it, but also because??? huh??? the dread doctors should’ve had a different reason for making the chimeras because that was dumb as hell. mason being the beast was also a horrible plot twist. didn’t vibe.

the saving grace was the chimeras. they were interesting. i liked their dynamic, and i generally enjoyed theo’s arc that season as a villain but felt they could’ve done more with him and his motivations.

LOVED to see pack drama. we needed more pack stuff in this show. watching the pack start to drift apart and break was really interesting to watch, but it would’ve been even better if the pack dynamics and relationships were more fleshed out prior to this. i would’ve felt their divide more if i was given more of them actually united.

felt more betrayed by 5b because 5a was as good as it was. the ending did not stick the landing for me.

#8: season 4a

why are we in mexico all of a sudden? how exactly did derek age regress? why is kate alive? and why is she a were-jaguar? why is the hale family vault hinder the high school— and yes i get that it was build before the school was made, but that doesn’t explain the secret passageways in the school—? how did peter’s coma genocidal thoughts reach meredith? why are we not addressing that kate is a pedophile?

most egregiously to me: they completely fumbled the idea of scott having a beta. liam being bitten on accident robbed scott of any agency as a character. furthermore, them neglecting the alpha and beta bond between scott and liam was really disappointing. scott should have been more of brother, maybe even parental, figure towards liam because of the alpha-beta dynamics at play.

i hated this season. it’s a miracle i even finished it at all. i wanted to repeatedly bash my head against a wall until i ended up in a coma where i telepathically influenced a mentally ill banshee teenager into making a hit list of the teen wolf writers room.

#9: season 6b

anticlimactic. incoherent. convoluted. impatient. unsatisfying. disappointing.

the anuk-ite was an unnecessary addition. this season should’ve been solely about the hunters and monroe.

i was initially excited for a human villain to be introduced, to see the wolf pack have to deal with more mundane horrors and play into the plethora of allegorical opportunities of lycanthropy… the 6b failed to deliver anything at all.

monroe’s motivation was idiotic and weak. gerard is a lazy bad guy to shoehorn in. the fight scenes, which should’ve been the highlight, were poorly choreographed. the makeup work was uninspired. the music was bad enough to break any immersion i might have had.

i was watching this half and got to the final episode and had to double check that it was, in fact, the series finale because it didn’t feel final. i didn’t feel that anything was being built up to. i felt like i got lost in the woods or something.

also the cinematography was weaker than the first half for some reason??? how did they manage that?

#10: season 4b

without the deadpool, season 4b was a miserable, frustrating, and boring experience. i have a headache just thinking about it.

Mobile and Fake Date

“Mobile”: So most of my notes for this exist as pictures at the moment (I write on small pieces of paper at work, snap pics of them on my phone and then type them up later on). I did post a piece of the prologue a while ago here. But these are some of the notes I do have typed :)

What I have: Liam has been working in the shadows to protect those in Beacon Hills as best he can since his untimely capture and then escape the summer of senior year. He was hit by a prototype 'Tag' before it became known as the 'Monroe Tagging System'. He couldn't go back, only run. His Tag being an older implant can be shut off for a short time before it restarts, each time taking a bit more from him. He's running on empty; time so borrowed he knows the war has to end one way or another or he won't live to see the end. His spark is weak, lending to his use of weapons Argent would be proud of. Now he's heading back to BH with only a spell and 18 years to protect his identity.

He is meant to go in, drop off the rescued girl and leave. Only an attack at the border of town has him reuniting with Theo and friends he's had to leave behind and with the knowledge that this is very likely the last time to see them, so he stays. Just a few days he tells himself. He should know better.

"Fake Date": ah yes. This one. Not that much left to do except just sit and finish it but I haven't been in the mood to <_<

Summary: Liam 'asks' Scott for a favor during holiday break. Scott has always been unable to deny his beta, and a few weeks of 'fake dating' him couldn't possibly go wrong...

Random scene:

Scott takes in the tenseness and stifling chemosignals as he enters the living room, taking a seat beside Liam. Draping an arm around the betas shoulder, Scott unthinkingly leans to press a kiss to his forehead before addressing the room. "What's up?" Clearly something was, given the awkward silence. Stiles tilts his head forward with squinted eyes fixed on the alpha, confusing Scott with the strange intensity of his scrutiny. Then, like a bubble popping, the tension in the room dissipates.

"Eh. Nothing's up Scotty. Misunderstanding I think." Stiles shrugs a shoulder, leans to clap Liam on the knee and then launches into a one-sided argument about why they were going to be watching Star Wars. Liam's shuddering breath lends to Scott suspicion of Stiles, though with Malia lounging on the other side of the couch any conversation will need to wait until later. He gives Liam a squeeze, pleased when the beta looks up to give him a smile.

"That was good thinking earlier." Liam tells him later, draped across Scott's bed, legs dangling off the side and kicking into the air.

"Huh?"

"When you ah, kissed my forehead. I think they were getting suspicious since you're usually very tactile when dating someone."

"Oh. Right" Scott nearly drops the snacks he is holding.

YES oh my fricking gods he did. I'll never forgive the writers for not showing the aftermath and him dealing with the most traumatic event in his life but in-fudging-stead showing only Scott having bad time remembering it 2 SEASONS LATER FOR SOME REASON. S5 and 6 were rushed and half-assed. We don't talk about the movie. It's the Cursed Child of Teen Wolf. The Teen Flop. Anyway.

The way they WASTED. WASTED so much quality material after s3 and for what? So many micro-plot holes, seemingly meaningless but so so annoying when you start thinking about them. Was Derek the King on the chessboard because Stiles put his name there or was it the fox? If the latter, WHY would he put Derek as the most important chess piece, the one that needs protection the most? Was he fully aware of the meaning of it? He probably did, he is intelligent, but did he figure out what that means in the context of Stiles? Why would a human point to a werewolf as the most vulnerable? It doesn't make sense in a werewolf terms. Humans are squishy, weak, and can be possessed. The next logical choice for the King would be Stiles's dad - his last remaining parent, his caregiver. Even Scott as his best friend and "Alpha" would be more suitable. But no, it was Derek.

Wanna know my theory why? Because regardless if it was Stiles's or Void's choice, based on Stiles memory the person that could be affected the most by a loss of bodily autonomy and emotional manipulation, would be Derek. All that to be left unanswered though.

Another unanswered thing is when exactly did Stiles become his anchor instead of anger. The lockers room dream and how Derek actually had to see him there to remember the way to recognize whether it's a dream or reality. All that from the Void experience.

They wrote a dynamic and story between secondary characters that deserved it's own spin-off, but abandoned it because it'd be more popular than whatever they came up with for the main character of the show.

Next time the possession is being brought up is to villanize Stiles. Like, correct me if I'm wrong but I only recall it being mentioned because Theo wanted to "see the Void Stiles" and then when they were dealing with Anuk-Ite. The latter was what Scott was scared of - possessed Stiles. Once again, it's what effect the Void had on a character other than Stiles.

Let's be honest. Like HONEST honest. They didn't know what to do. The writers. Cuz why have TEENAGERS deal with the trauma of mass slaughter, seeing your school friend/love literally die, and go seek therapy, if you can have them just "get over it" during a summer break. Issues well hidden are issues gone am I right ha ha.

I swear, Sterek deserved more than metaphor onion and untreated issues.

Who is the REAL Alpha?

Scott McCall? No. Wrong.

Derek Hale? NO. Wrong again.

Peter Hale? Ugh, not even in consideration.

You see, the correct answer is Stiles.

That's right, you heard me. Stiles is actually the one true Alpha. No, I don't mean he would be Alpha if he were a werewolf, and, no, I don't mean in an omegaverse way involving knots and mpreg. I mean, Stiles canonically and consistently shows the most traits to be the Pack Leader. The Human Alpha.

Let me explain:

Derek's family (the Hale Pack) was canonically made up of both werewolves and humans. Now, this is important. The Hale Pack's mantra was always "Alpha, Beta, Omega", which Derek states means that "we can always rise to one and fall to another". Notice he didn't say "a werewolf can always rise to one and fall to another". This was a pack motto that embodied the heart of the Hales' beliefs and belonged specifically to this mixed-species pack. The Hale Pack didn't just own a bunch of humans, they didn't just happen to know these humans. These humans were considered legitimate pack members and family. He didn't lose his pack and a few human cousins. No, he lost his Pack, period. This mantra applied to ALL pack members. Just as a Hale werewolf can rise and fall through the hierarchy, so too can a human. Just as a human pack member can be a Beta or Omega, so too can they also rise to be an Alpha.

But enough about CAN Stiles be an Alpha. Let's talk about WHY Stiles in particular is the pack Alpha.

1. Everyone intrinsically trusts his judgement and follows what he says, because he has shown time and time again that he knows what he's talking about and accomplishes what he sets out to do. He gets Isaac out of Holding, he helps Lydia use her power to figure out the sacrifices are being held at the Nemeton, he finds a way into a bank vault, he gets the bus to stop, he finds the cure to what's making all the supernaturals in school sick. When he says he'll do something, chances are high that he'll find a way to do it.

2. He always throws himself first into danger, willing to risk his life for the pack, because he puts the pack before himself. Sure, Derek and Scott do this too, but where Stiles differs is that he isn't self-sacrificing/masochistic or arrogantly lone-wolfing it when he jumps into battle. Unlike the other Alphas we've seen, Stiles also knows when to hold back, regroup, to withhold from unnecessary danger, and knows when to ask for help. Derek locked himself in a room and let two feral Betas maul at him because he didn't care if he lived or died, Scott almost bled out on a bus, instead of seeking medical attention, because "I can handle it myself". Meanwhile Stiles, on the one hand, Molotoved an Alpha werewolf and, on the other hand, hid in the shadows and managed to get the drop on an immortal, Nazi werewolf by himself with nothing but a bat.

3. He knows everyone's strengths and weaknesses and knows who goes best where, delegating them appropriately (which also includes himself, showing that he is aware of his own limitations and knows when a physically stronger pack member would be better suited for a situation than him). Like when he let the weres handle the assassin/mercenary assault while he and Lydia found and disabled the Deadpool or when he threw mountain ash at the Anuke-Ite while everyone else was dealing with Monroe's armada.

4. He has incredible judgement and intuition, able to spot threats to the pack immediately (like when he thought Matt was controlling the kanima, or when he was suspicious of Theo, or when he didn't trust Peter right before Peter betrayed them).

5. Not only that, but he was able to help THREE separate weres control their shift (even becoming anchors for two weres, himself), and usually just by talking to them. Even Peter had trouble helping Derek control his shift in highschool and Derek couldn't help Scott with his shift either (meanwhile, Stiles accomplished this in half a school day), and both Peter and Derek are born weres.

6. No matter if he was head over heels in love or just horny AF, Stiles never let that distract him from what needed to be done, unlike Scott actively endangering people just to make out with Allison (and the less said about Derek's love life, the better). Case in point: when Lydia was crying in her car, even though it seemed to pain him, he told her he had something important he had to do, then proceeded to look for the bestiary. There's also when he woke up in bed with Lydia and, instead of just going back to sleep without questioning it, he got up to explore the ominous, open door because, logically, he knew something wasn't right. And let's not forget when he stopped making out with Caitlyn to investigate a glowing key.

7. Stiles may have had a few fuck-ups here and there in the beginning (what Alpha hasn't?), but he learns in long, bounding strides from his mistakes and doesn't make the same mistake twice (because Stiles lives by his own mantra: once is an incident, twice is a coincidence, three's a pattern). I love Derek, I do, but I gotta ask: how many times has Derek been tied to an electric fence or been manipulated to fight on the wrong side? And how many times has Scott made 'a deal with the devil' or almost killed Allison or outed himself to the wrong people? You wanna know how many times Stiles has been beaten to a pulp? Once, by Gerard. Since then, there have been at least two instances in which he's taken on this sort of scrapper-brawler type of fighting style, almost like he never wants to just lay there helplessly as someone beats him up ever again. Very rarely do we ever see Stiles on his back with someone looming over him after that.

I could go on and on about how Stiles knows how to network and branch out for help from potential allies, or how Stiles actually listens and considers what other pack members have to say, or how Stiles doesn't let whether or not he likes a person get in the way of helping them, but we'd be here all day and this post is already long enough.
