"have you ever thought about dying?"

cross could barely hear it over the dying crackle of the fire, and even that was quiet. for a moment he wasn't sure if killer was talking to him.

his smaller partner shifted, sitting up on his sleeping bag to look at cross. "have you?"

cross thought over his words carefully. "...in what way?"

killer glanced away, at the buildings in the distance. his fingers twisted in the ratty fabric of his sleeping bag, a nervous tick of his.

"....yanno..."

cross didn't know. but killer didn't expand on it, or explain, simply waiting for cross to understand, but he couldnt figure this one out. most methods of dying were eliminated, the only thing left to really die from is time, or sickness.

"have you ever thought about it?" killer asked again, and cross frowned, slowing down his packing to really think about it. the immediate answer would be no.

"I have," killer said. "I tried it once."

cross felt a prickling feeling at his neck, the kind of awkwardness that comes from discomfort and realization.

"I think I was sixteen? just got my license, took my mom's Chevy for a spin."

cross's movements slowed to a stop, his attention drawn to killer. there was a faraway look in his eyes, his soul barely moving as he waved directionlessly through the air.

"it was the first time I was sat at a railroad crossing. i felt a really strong urge to just floor it and get on the tracks."

"why didn't you?" he asked it before he could think, his own voice startling him. killer flashed him a grin, "I thought about how furious my mom would be that her car got fucked up. it wasn't worth it."

cross stared at Killer, silent, his brow creased at the idea. there was a faintly bitter taste in the back of his throat, his mood souring at the thought that one of the major factors contributing to their companionship was killer refraining from suicide simply because his parent would be mad about collateral. the thought irked him.

killer huffed a laugh, shaking his head, "what about you? anything similar? got any stories?"

quite a few, cross almost said. there'd been a few times in his life when it was a fleeting thought, when he'd held receipts in his clenched fist as if it would erase his purchases, when he'd called up friends to have an excuse to avoid his home and face the contents in his closet. but the words shriveled as they formed and he only shrugged in the end.

a flicker of understanding passed over killer's face, and something told cross that killer was talking about intrusive thoughts, and not contemplation and plotting. cross swallowed his words and tore his gaze away to stare hard at his backpack, his eyes narrowed as he resumed packing his things.

"im glad you didnt," killer blurted, a few minutes after their conversation. cross glanced at him, his frown hidden behind his scarf as he stared at killer's earnest expression.

"...yeah."

he was glad neither of them had.

If someone gets hurt because they're being reckless, they'll receive more painful treatment than usual

Lono:

He's bad (is scared) with Lucas

He's aware whenever he's being reckless, so he'll really regret it later

Lono is Lucas's regular patient

Flure & Lono

Lono: “I told you, you definitely can eat it with this seasoning!”

Flure: “Bell peppers… no way…”

Lono:

He can't shut up when it comes to food

He often has Flure helping him in the kitchen

Hates vegetables

Lono is close in age with him and easy to talk to, so he can openly show his dissatisfaction

Normally he's quite rude to Lono

Lono's cooking is delicious, so he's grateful to him

Lato: “See, isn't it fun?”

No interest whatsoever towards other people and all living beings…

Flure and Miyaji (+the lord) are the only ones he has interest in

Extremely high physical prowess and he can't control it

Playfully bothering Flure, thinking it would make him happy, but always ends up making him angry

He's annoyed that Lato treats him like a little brother (But he doesn't hate it)

He's proud of himself for taking care of the bothersome dangerous person that is Lato

He's usually scolding him despite Lato is older than him

Lato doesn't listen to other people, but if Flure's the one saying it, he complies

Bastien & Lono

Two guys who usually disagrees/fights a lot

Bastien: “I want…”

Lono:

Harbors one-sided rivalry with Bastien who is skilled in swordsmanship

Surprisingly, Lono is the more reliable one

Bastien:

Drawn to things he likes, he often gets lost

He often doesn't pay attention to what Lono says, but when Berrien says something, both of them follow

Berrien & Bastien

Berrien: “Uwaaa…”

Bastien:

Fearless

Bastien isn't particularly close with Berrien, but he does listen to what he says

Due to his affection for living things, he avoids senseless killing

Berrien:

Berrien is terrified of bugs

Rather than hiding this weakness, he openly seeks help from other butlers

Considering that everyone helps him out, he thinks that 'They're all good kids.”

Lamli & Ammon

Lamli: “Rose-kun, hear me out ♪”

Ammon: “Yes, yes, I've had enough hearing about it~ Also, won't you stop with the Rose-kun?”

Ammon:

He's thinking on what to do to handle this situation

Lamli:

He loves Lucas and the lord

Ammon is one of the few people who listens to him gushing

He has a habit of quickly assigning nicknames to others

Ammon & Boschi

Boschi:

He lets his guard down when with someone he can be open to

He nonchalantly sleeps a lot

He has the smoothest hair out of all the butlers

Ammon:

He takes care of Boschi's daily life, who is wounded

But, sometimes he messes around because he can (and then gets scolded badly)

It's Ammon's duty to wake Boschi up (he makes herbal tea to wake him up)

Boschi & Haures

Usually they don't get along well

They recognize each other's strength, so they lean on each other's backs in battle

Boschi: “That was such a crappy move”

Haures: “Shut up. Focus on eliminating the enemies”

Boschi:

He doesn't want to acknowledge Haures's strength, so he fights while cursing

Strong sense of rivalry with Haures

Haures:

When dealing with Boschi, he's a little more foul-mouthed than usual

At Long Last... Mick apwos TF2 Guy Eye Color Headcanons

I was gonna post smth like "uwaaa are eye color headcanons still cool... would anyone wanna see..." but then remembered I do what I want! So

Scout: Blue eyes I'm sorry. I think "people with blue eyes waiting for you to comment on their blue eyes" memes work for him. Also I think Jerma's got blue eyes and they're the same guy so it works

Soldier: Really any eye color goes for him bc visible eyes aren't really part of his design, but I think that kinda muddy brown-green color would work. Mostly just bc I think it'd be funny if this guy specifically had basically camo-colored eyes. His army green orbs

Demo: This is like the only guy whose canon eye color I care about. Demo's eye is BROWN it is not green or gold or yellow or whatever, it's brown. I have honestly gotten to a point where I think any insistence that it's another color or that it would be "cooler" if it were another color is offensive

Heavy: Blue, but I like to differentiate them from Scout's blue by making them Very pale. I think it works with his whole Large Foreboding Siberian Man thing. The kind of eye color really best described as "icy"

Engie: Another one I don't really think too much about bc his eyes are always obscured, but I think especially if he's blond they should be brown. Lighter brown eyes with dark blond hair look nice, it looks nice in the New Mexican desert and it looks nice surrounded by glowing yellow Australium machines. He seems like a warm colors kinda guy

Medic: Blue again sorry. There has never been a man who better encapsulates the "blue-eyed husky stare" thing. Absolutely terrifying. I like to differentiate his from Scout's and Heavy's by making the color very bright. Bc yknow. Medic? Bright? Cheery? Giggly? It works

Sniper: I am a brown-eyes Sniper tf2 truther and will be until the day I die. It works! And they're dark too, basically black. You can't really see it behind the colored glasses, so I always like to make someone noticing his eye color a very intimate thing. It's fun

Spy: It seems So obvious to me that Spy should have brown eyes, especially with the duller and darker reds of his design. It just looks nicer, in my opinion

BONUS ROUND:

Pauling: I like the green eyes but I also think brown eyes would be nice. Maybe gray. Blue is a no-no

Admin: I think the green eyes work! They feel sharp and distinct within her mostly purple, pink, and red color palette. She feels like she should have eyes that stick out. Yellow is another good option

Hale: He barely has a canon eye color but I think a brown so light it's almost orange or yellow would work for him. Maybe straight-up yellow eyes, I do love that visual Australium effect

Zhanna: Brown eyes. Works with her color palette! I never really notice what color eyes people give her but I think this would be nice

•Pronouns

Desmond goes by He/She/They/Its. Everything pretty much goes for them. She’s genderfluid.

•AroAce

Desmond in this au is aroace. He still had that past partner like canon desmond does. But after she had disappeared, it helped him discover himself after being unable to be a suitable partner for anyone else due to stress and general complications with understanding people.

•Artistry

Desmond is still very much into art, but taxidermy is what she values higher than most. She thinks it’s a beautiful way to show the life an animal once lived or a creative way to express oneself through an animal.

•Airship or water ship?

Desmond in this au owns a mixture of both! She owns a cruise ship with an attached airship at the top (the Bostonius)! Making her able to leave the ship without having to turn the cruise around and an easier place to have the airship without having to put it into a hanger. Her crewmates often call her red or dessy, a fun little nickname!

•Glasses?

Surprisingly, her glasses are only for show. She’s got no lenses in those red rims and are merely an accessory.

•Profession

Desmond studied the arts of archeology and anthropology. He’s well versed in the two topics. Archeology is something that peaked his interest since it was a major thing in his childhood. Often times, his father would bring him to dig sites to see pottery from the past and how humans used to live. Unfortunately, his father was taken by a suspicious group of people, as well as his mother.

Anthropology also peaked Desmond’s interest as it went along with Archeology. Learning about how human being behaved throughout history over time is interesting to them.

This is more of a habit but, Desmond is also an interested hunter. While learning about different cultures and their practices, she learned more and more about different hunting strategies used by many cultures. These were inspirational, so it slowly became a hobby. Of course only in areas that allowed hunting. Nothing non-ethical for her!

Again, gonna do what I gotta do. A lot of what’s in here is related to lore stuff that some people may have or have not read..sooo tralala

This ref is general and not affected by gameplot!

•Similarities and differences

Desmond and Descole act VERY differently. Desmond is simply just an act for the public eye.

Also, not called “Jean Descole” in this au. She’d probably find it rather ugly to be called “Jean” and thinks that name is stupid. Her canon counterpart would definitely hate her.

Desmond and Descole both share the same pronouns, that part does not change. Same with their sexuality.

Desmond is more open and tries her best to communicate with people, while Descole acts more cold and serious. Descole also gets agitated more easily compared to Desmond.

•Outfit and design.

Descole’s outfit is made to hunt. It’s hunting gear. She has white hunting gloves and a purple hunting jacket.

The boa and cravat is for style, might as well look good when you’re hunting. (Not..very affective..but don’t tell her that..)

The cape is also for style but it’s also used to hide her belt and anything else she has concealed in her pockets. The pattern of the cape isn’t very consistent but it has the overall pattern of a leopard with a soft texture. Often times her chihuahua, treats, enjoys to lay in it. (Treats is the Keats dupe for this au! hehe). Can ditch the cape when she needs to run after prey and it’s slowing her down.

Her boots are lightweight so she can easily run after her prey if needed.

her hat is funny, that’s why I did it lols. She can’t own a cat, or else it would knock it off all the time haha!

Under everything, it’s just a plain cream shirt with her hunting pants.

The shadow is a design choice that I like hehe, it allows her to blend in with the darkness since she mostly hunts at night. Also makes her mysterious hehehe lalalal! Desmond can also have this shadow to show the cover being blown.

Mask to conceal her identity.

Wig is not connected to the hat, if she wants to take it off, she’ll take it off from the front, similarly to how the masked gentleman takes off the costume for the big reveal.

•Weaponry

Descole carries a belt on her waist that holds her smaller tools. For example, her cautery tool she stole from her adopted father (Raymond). Carrying it around incase she needs it for prey. (Of course, it’s only been used on one creature she’s hunted.)

Another weapon in her arsenal would be her handgun. It’s used near the ending of Randall’s game. She has larger ones but she carries a small one for quick trips and not for longer hunts.

Lastly, she owns a net guns. Made by herself. The case is a deep dark purple with a red “D” to label it as her own. It has foam to protect each netgun head and handle. The yellow button on the handle is to release her white web onto her prey. She mostly uses her net guns instead of killing what’s she’s hunting right away.

• Diet.

She’s a hunter that eats her prey. if her prey so happens to be Human, she won’t find a problem using every piece that she can.

With her normal hunting, she often uses every part of the animal. For example, if she were to hunt a deer, she’d use every piece.

Though, she has yet to eat a human being. She had plans to feast on a red headed woman after her plans had failed since she had no more use for her, but that sadly didn’t go through. Once you aren’t needed anymore in her eyes, she’ll find a way to satisfy her hunger.

•Under Both

During the Randall game, Des gets shot in her shoulder, leaving a scar after raymond tried to tend to its wound.

Des had gotten breast reduction surgery by raymond. Raymond has surgical experience, he’s a retired surgeon who decided to work in an orphanage where he met Des and her future crew.

Raymond is like a father to des and was happy to make her feel more confident in himself.

The wound on their right hand was caused by desperate measures going through the labyrinth in Randall’s game. She carved a pathway onto her hand so she wouldn’t get lost.

He’s got a symmetry line down its chest. Idk, just a neat body detail I wanted to add because I think it’s nice! hehe

• Under Descole

She wears a binder under her descole outfit to appear more flat chested. She doesn’t mind her breasts but she’d rather wear that when she’s hunting that a bra. Feels more contained.

"ugh.." you blink tears out as the pain finally goes away. where... where am I? you stand up abruptly, and then your head stung in pain again.

you stumble and hold onto the wall for support. as you attempt to stabilize your head, you take a good look of your unknown surroundings.

you can see through a window the central area where the doomsday beast in the game appears in. and... the antimatter legion?

confused, you stare for a few minutes before finally moving your legs. your walk was unstable as you leapt onto a nearby wall for support.

you hoped to find something to explain in this unfamiliar researching room. the large screens flash numerous codes as if it were hacked.

you walk over to a table with documents and look cautiously.

the rest of the paper were glitched out, as if paper had a code as well. strange, documents aren't usually written like this aren't they?

your hand reached out to flip the paper, but a blooming purple flashing light came out the moment your fingers glazed a tiny bit of the paper.

the purple lights started moving towards you and you back up, but that didn't stop them from getting closer until it touched you.

flash!

"urgh!"

you fall down and you feel something crawling in you, all the way into your chest area. you gasp and hold your chest, you groan in pain as the pain enveloped your body and you pass out.

'hurry. our time is almost up'

"-yy!! there's an unconscious person here too!" you hear a bright voice near you, but your eyes felt heavy.

"-rch, you go save them this time"

"w-haaaaa??? I told you i don't know how to do CPR!!!"

"well someone's life is at stake here, unless you want to carry a body all the way to asta"

you can’t help but think, that those voices sound oh so strikingly similar to those characters.

footsteps of three walked closer to you but you couldn't open your eyes somehow.

you felt warm hands touching your shoulder, and you blink. huh? pink haired, black haired, and... gray haired?

why do they look exactly like they are in the game? are they in cosplay?

"they're awake!" mar— the pink haired said.

"hey, what's your name?" Dan... heng? asked, but you were silent. still trying to comprehend and understand this situation.

"or do you not remember anything?" you flinch.

that's a good question. why can't you remember anything? you remember your name, but why does everything else feel washed out? like as if someone wiped them. only to let you remember your own name, and the... game?

"my name... is..." you said slowly, squinting your eyes and you attempt to remember.

what about your family? your friends?

why are you here? how did you get here?

weren't you just doing— what?

what were you doin—

a little touch on your shoulder snaps you out of your thoughts, you look back at the black haired man and notice their concerned eyes.

"hey, it's okay if you don't remember. don't push yourself." he said slowly. you nod and the pink haired girl helps you up.

"my name is march 7th! this guy over here is dan heng, and he is caelus!" march proudly says and you freeze in place.

it's as if you really entered the world of your favorite game.

you open your mouth but close it when you realize you didn't have any words to say. you nod while march holds you up by your arms.

sounds started coming from dan heng's watch, he looks at it and says "we have to get going now. it appears I have to leave to take care of other matters. so I'll be leaving them to you march."

"mhm okay! don't worry about it!" march exclaims, waving dan heng goodbye.

"since we might be seeing some antimatter legions around here... we must find you both a weapon!"

march picks up a baseball bat out of nowhere and hands it to caelus, who holds onto it like a confused dog.

"hmm... as for you, we might need to ask himeko about this"

you walk with the two before noticing a monster lurking and walking in the next room. the two noticed as well, they nodded before getting into battle.

you stand... watching them.

oh it was so different seeing them in real time instead of in game

you saw the movements caelus made, the sound of his jacket slapping each other when he hit the monster with the bat, and the sound of when he broke his fingers after the impact.

you nearly rush in before march covers for him and shields him. you think it's better if you wait til the battle is over and then go and help him.

march was cute. like no joke really cute. you would've said the game gave no justice to her but they give enough justice so you let it slide. her face was cheeky and her outfit just fit her style.

the battle was over it seems when you notice the last monster falling down, and you immediately rush over to caelus.

he winces in pain and you tell him, "don't move"

you don't know how to bandage someone up you also notice. you rip off a piece of your jacket and wrap it on his fingers. march leans down and helps you tie it up.

"don't move your hands too much.. your bones are broken" you say, holding his bandaged hand and you look up at him.

you didn't realize how close you were when you could look into his eyes— those golden pupils, it looked fascinating—

you were too close to—

you let go of his hand and scramble back, nearly falling over when you stand up abruptly.

"um... let's go" you say, turning around with a red face.

the two follow you behind. one looking at you both questionably, and the other... observing you.

you reach the center where there is an elevator and you know it is broken, you watch as caelus attempted to unlock the elevator to no avail.

"they must've locked it up because of the invasion... now what do we do?" march said

"hey, I'm back." a familiar voice appeared behind you, you turned around to see dan heng.

"it appears the elevator has been locked, I'm sure arlan had the solution to that." he said.

the trio and you hurry to where arlan was and he hands you the key. though he doesn't recognize you or caelus, the fact that he gave you the key means that he trusts you.

you didn't know what to do with that trust. maybe it was because you were with the astral express or your interaction with them seemed like you were their newest member.

you hold your breath and unlock the elevator with the key. it goes to the highest floor and stops.

monsters are awaiting your arrival it seems, and the three— starts rushing over like no tomorrow.

you can't help but feel your heart tighten at the sight. you just really love the trio. the thought of family brings warmth in you.

you meet himeko soon after and you think, she looks really, really pretty. she smiles at you fondly and welcomes both you and caelus to the astral express. you smile back.

and then, huge warning signs appear as the conversation with asta continued. you stood in place before being dragged by himeko.

and then they face off the doomsday beast. even if the game wasn't as intense, you couldnt help the feeling of dread when you see the <em>big</em> and terrifying monster.

but you were thankful they could dodge some of the attacks.

and then— the blast fires at march. you want to run but you freeze in sight. your legs were wobbly and you see caelus shielding her and taking the blow

when the stellaron within him went out of control. you— collapse.

something hot is building in your chest and it hurts, it hurts really bad. dan heng catches you right before you fall to the ground.

d' don't let it ▒▒ ▒▒ ▒▒!!!!

the voice comes back again, albeit a little hallower.

you hear some shouts and see a new figure appear in front of caelus. you close your eyes in relief.

end note ¡ let's get some caelus cake goin???! he's observing because he literally just woke up and didn't know what his heart beating reallly fast meant lol

sorry if you wanted to partake in the battle and help out! i'm still thinking about whether the reader will take the path of abundance/harmony because then there'll be wholesome interactions between Natasha, bailu, and luocha... but I also want reader to be a DPS or attack to get some rlly good interactions where the character scolds them and bandages them up.... next chapter and more motivation to think I guess!!

next chapter depends on how many times I open my writing app.... so maybe in a few days.

if you think about it, the concept of internet advertising is pretty funny. here you have my journal, where i broadcast my thoughts via telepresence to thousands of people across the globe but mostly distributed in the united states i assume, and some guy is like "hey i could be selling products here." buddy. no you could not. i can only get seven people to sign up for a mailing list if i tell them there's a secret alternate reality game about bees. i had to revise my whole posting production workflow after i used an unlabelled diptyque lotion for a time travel joke and everybody in the tags was like "i'm taking this as my sign to buy that." like NOOO uwaaa~ and so on. if you're going to sell us anything try Fresh Cut Fruit we would LOVE a fruteria. honestly

Robooty Reviews: Yandere Kanojo (7/10)

My first manga I ever laid mein precious little eyes upon... hoo boy is this one nostalgic! You can definately see how it influenced my artstyle lol. It's incredibly charming imo and i fuckin love it. anyways this manga is about a yankee girl reina and her new nerdy boyfriend tanaka (who is most definately not a yankee) and them having slice of life swag together. It's all done in a 4-koma style but is incredibly charming with a delightful cast of fun characters and quite a few interesting dynamics + jokes! Just be careful, there two versions of this story, the print and online one and they contain the same plot but have different comics each. I recommend reading both since its kinda like getting more in between stories (except when it comes to the end with the more plot heavy stuff then they diverge a bit)

you know robooty okay GIRLSEME FOREVERR!!!! I LOVED REINA AND TANAKA AS A KID MMMM THEIR DYNAMIC IS SUPPPPPERR NICE I LOVE THEM THEYRE SO CUTE TOGETHER UWAAA!! I will say that when i was younger i struggled to appreciate tsubasa and hijiri properly, but now I quite enjoy their addition to the friend group. I also have always loved the cafe manager and his gay ass chef. I commissioned someone for a plush of Valyom a while ago but never posted it, but here he is, he is lovely and really small (about 13cm)

I think the ref I gave was a little too stylised because he ended up with boobs but honestly I think it adds to it, I like my breasted hairy elf guy.

I specifically asked for his hair to be kept curly as it's an important detail of his and they DELIVERED, I love the way they did his hair!

His gold details are painted rather than embroidered, it looks perfectly fine in my opinion and I don't mind it.

the seller was DaNangCraft on etsy if anyone is interested, they were very lovely and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it before shipping him! With shipping and taxes it came up to about €70, but they have different sizes with different prices, if you message them directly they also change the price (based on complexity I assume) which is how I got mine cheaper than the listed price.

they also make other plushies, not just oc ones, I can't vouch for their quality but I'd assume, based on my experience, that they'd be just as good! maybe even better, depending on what you get, I'm not familiar with their specialisations. personally I plan on finding out by buying a pet plush someday to immortalise my dear dog as she's getting old (she's 10 and getting little white eyebrows).

this is meant as a review as I'm extremely happy with the little guy and believe we should give exposure (on top of money, not as money) to sellers we like! support businesses and all, exposure does help pay the bills too and when i start my own plushmaking business I do hope someone will do the same for me! put out the energy you'd like to see in the world.

Every so often I consider watching The Passion of the Christ from start to finish, but I think the movie missed a trick when Jesus dies and all the parties responsible are quickly like, 'OH NO, WE KILLED THE SON OF GOD, UWAAA,' and it is terribly dramatic and there are earthquakes and braziers falling over and choral music and whatnot.

I think it would have been... creepier, perhaps, if they'd killed Jesus, and this had seemed utterly mundane, and their lives had gone on as normal... And then they'd found out later that the scruffy little carpenter/religious whackjob they nailed to a cross had allegedly come back to life, and they'd dismissed this idea, but they then spent the rest of their lives thinking, 'Oh God, Who The Fuck Did We Actually Kill', as if they expected God to knock on their door one day and confirm just how badly they fucked up. I think there'd be something haunting about them killing Just Some Guy and then gradually realising the magnitude of what they've done.

Anyway I think I'm a bit fed up with people trying to depict BIG DRAMATIC RELIGIOUS AWE! and I prefer the idea of a god who gently whispers and gives people tests that do not provide immediate pass/fail results.
