I do like me a good Potterlock fic... here are some Potterlock fics that I've enjoyed or that are on my 'to read' list:

The Happiness Can Be Found series by HollyShadow88. The third fic in this great series is a wip/incomplete, but it's still well worth reading if you're into Potterlock!

Ah, I haven't really read more than two or three, since I've never been into the universe, BUT I did make a Hogwarts / Wizarding World AU (MFLs) list awhile ago after getting some requests for them! They're all fics I've been suggested in the past, so may or may not have something specific to your ask :P

That said, we'll need more info about what was in the fic to be able to help you find the fic you're looking for! There are lots of fics that are WiPs at any given time, so if you remember basically what was happening in the story, we can try our best to help you out!! <3

Cette histoire est une transposition de la série Sherlock dans l’univers de Harry Potter. Mais si elle se déroule à Poudlard, elle reste bien plus centrées sur les personnages de Sherlock que de Harry Potter.

John et Sherlock sont deux élèves sorciers, l’un issu d’une famille moldue, l’autre issu d’une riche et ancienne famille sorcière, l’un à Poufsouffle, l’autre à Serpentard. Malgré leurs différences, une profonde amitié s’installe entre les deux garçons, qui évoluera au fil des ans vers un peu plus que cela.

La grande force de cette fic, c’est de parvenir à transposer les enquêtes de la série (avec Irène Adler, Moriarty…) et les personnages dans un univers magique sans en modifier l’essence. La relation entre John et Sherlock adolescents est très joliment écrite. J’ai adoré la tendresse de leur amitié durant leurs premières années à Poudlard. La traduction est bien écrite aussi.

C’est une fic très appréciée que je recommande chaudement à tous les fans de Harry Potter !

so I decided a few days late that, since I was writing this bullshit down anyway, I was gonna do it properly. I’m officially entering with the scraps I write down from our Ravnica D&D campaign as my “novel” this year. If anyone knows the author of this fic (TheShoelessOne on fanfiction.net) and they're on tumblr, please tag them. I would like to offer my life, love and devotion for this piece of work.

There is so very little Tin Man fanfiction, and this is not only the best I've read, it's one of the best stories I've ever read, period. The detail in every chapter, where you can literally see everything happening in your mind's eye, is better than many published books I've read. Every character is "in-character", and the DG/Cain pairing is absolutely perfect with the pacing, character insight, and overall complete believability.

Basically, I've read this twice in 4 days, and I want every other interested shipper/Tin Man fan to have the bone-deep utter satisfaction I have had when reading it.

If you have not seen Tin Man, I highly recommend. It has a great cast and is one of the most enjoyable fiction mini-series I've ever watched. Especially being played off of The Wizard Of Oz, because I am super protective of the movie and book, and generally don't like new adaptations. This is different enough to work.

Anyway, watch the show and read this later. You won't be disappointed.

Since I was name-checked, hello, I AM fond of Five/Tegan!  (They were my first Target novelisations back in the day when you could not get hold of actual telly stuff and Big Finish wasn’t dreamt of yet, and it was So Obvious to my twelve-year-old self that they were a deeply repressed and awkward Thing.  Nothing’s ever really changed my mind yet.)

If you’re looking for fic, I haven’t actually written very much Five/Tegan.  I love them so much I can’t write them; you can see why their vibe is very much mine, too, lol.  Although anything I write with Five & Tegan in has an underlying Five/Tegan-ness going on there to some degree (in my head).

It’s quite funny, because back in Teaspoon days, Five/Tegan was one of the big Doctor/companion het ships for classic Who, but then with Janet not being willing to be in Big Finish for so long, Five/Nyssa took over on that front, and Five/Tegan never really recovered steam again after.  Which is annoying if you still intensely ship it and aren’t much good at writing it, ahem ahem, ahem. /goes up in lilac & beige coloured shipping smoke

But that means there IS fic out there if you know where to look.  Here’s a link to a Five/Tegan Manifesto I did for het_reccers years ago, which has 10 Five/Tegan works in it and I still think they’re pretty great.  Several of the authors did some others as well, especially LilacFree on Teaspoon, who you should definitely check out, as being particularly good.

In terms of my own stuff, because I have written a ridiculous amount over the years, the ones that have a more Five &/ Tegan focus are:

Summer’s Outing

Subdivide and Multiply (which is also kind of poly, but not in depth; it was just that someone said Five’s era had a perfect sedoretu arrangement right there, so... /shrugs)  (Tegan didn’t want to marry three other people just to get a house.  That was what estate agents were for.)

Bleeding Out (Five gets injured; Tegan has to help)

Legal Requirement (actual Five/Tegan, amazing, for an exchange, obv.)

Anyway, I could talk a lot about why I ship it and how it works (and does and doesn’t) and Thoughts and Ideas, but since you are mainly after a bit of fic, here are some recs and even a bit of a light-hearted old manifesto, and if you do get into reading this ship, it’s worth exploring Teaspoon, because there is more over there!  (Cybermoggy, LilacFree and theshoelessone all wrote several more, just for starters.  There’s also someone whose name I need to see if I can remember who wrote, not Five/Tegan, but some really great Five era missing Adventures novel-length things.)

ATTENTION ALL POTTER!LOCK LOVERS!

I just finished TheShoelessOne's The Magic of Deduction, and can I just say that this fic is AMAZING!! The characterization is pinpoint on, and the author captures Hogwarts and the Harry Potter world perfectly. I actually felt like I was reading Rowling's work again, and it made me NEED to reread the Harry Potter novels for the fourth time! I dont think that the author could have written a more adorable relationship for John and Sherlock...it's just too much for me to take!! Also, the integration of the BBC Sherlock plot into the story is FLAWLESS. All characters (even minor) have depth to them, and feel very, very real. This is definitely my new favorite fan fiction...I will probably read it again soon in the near future :D I didn't think I would like crossover fics, but this has DEFINITELY changed my mind!!

Aaaanndd that's all folks! Now you guys should know the longest one is 'On Sport' and it's the only one that has more than one chapter. The rest are really short like 2k words tops. Definitely worth a read, you won't be disappointed. With that said my personal favorites where  'On Observation' and 'On Subtlety'!!! But, as I said, the whole series was a joy to read.

We get to see the development of Sherlock and John's friendship, and eventually the romance, plus the mystery they had to solve. I thought it was a brilliant HP crossover. Haven't read other HPxSherlock crossovers but this one is DEFINITELY a fantastic read. :)

Review: I usually HATE cross-overs but this fic is justifies their existence. The characters are still themselves, solving crimes with sexual tension growing. It's very cute and the build up to their getting together is perfectly done. So adorable I loved it.

A Study in Blue Author: TheShoelessOne Pairing: Sherlock/John Rating: PG-13 Summary: On 1st January, 1920, John Watson meets Sherlock Holmes. Jazz Age AU, eventual John/Sherlock. Why: Another fic that takes place shortly after WWI. The descriptions in this are utterly fascinating, and the way the BBC canon is woven into this time period is really elegantly done.
