percy hums, the sound vibrating against the skin of your sternum. his legs entwine with your own, unclothed. you feel his face heat up. but you ignore this and continue your story.

“well anyways, so writing this whole sexy romance story was—”

“sweet girl.” you feel him smirking now.

“I’m gonna need you to put on underwear before you continue that story.”

you laugh and roll your eyes. “you’re such a boy! I don’t even know where they are!”

“somewhere…” he lifts his head from your chest, searching the cabin floor. “somewhere.”

“exactly! so you and your hormones will have to wait.”

percy places his head back between your tits. you pat his head soothingly.

“I’ll have to show you that episode some time,” you murmur into his hair before pecking the top of his head.

“whatever you want. as long as your underwear are on I think I can sit through it.”

I’ve seen a few headcanons (especially in fics) that Will solace actually is naturally brunette but when he was claimed by Apollo his hair turned blonde (weither it’s over time due to sun bleaching or straight away).

And I just wanted to say I love this so much purely because of how heartbreaking some of the implications can be. 🤗

It’s never happened to any Apollo campers before, Will doesn’t know why it had to happen to him, his one sense of normalcy taken away so quickly, his one connection to his previous life- gone.

Will starts to pick up quite quickly he’s not like his other siblings, he’s can’t write and is average at archery. But he can heal, better than anyone else can.

He was different from the start, he was claimed differently, and his gift was different too.

And while still struggling with what to do, at the ripe age of 12 he’s now in charge of a cabin full of kids younger than him, because he was the oldest to survive.

Just imagine how the plague powers would also affect him. Apollo himself said that it seemed Will had gained all of his good qualities and none of his bad.

How would this 15 year old feel that the same hands that can heal can cause harm?

The necklace scene with Percy and Annabeth; this scene is so much more than Percabeth. I am sorry, it just is. It's not about two kids falling in love just yet, it's about two kids who never had a friendship quite like this. Annabeth had Luke and Thalia but those were people she idolized. Neither she, Percy, nor Grover ever had a true friendship like the one they found on the original quest. This is two kids who started out barely tolerating each other and ended in the sense that they were all each other had. They weren't back in the human world thinking they were these dumb kids relating to no one. That look from Percy was the gravity of what he found. What he had been looking for his whole life. Two people who were choosing him despite all the reasons he may think they shouldn't. At 12, that feeling of belonging is everything.

The show really hits you with the fact that Annabeth is the head counselor for the Athena cabin. Like, obviously she’s been there for a long time, but none of her older siblings are more fit for the job? How many others who are more experienced and older have already ventured off on deadly quests, never to return? Just how much death and tragedy has this girl witnessed at camp?
