kinlani is kinlani. like omg have you seen them: sunshine social butterfly girlfriend and her introverted moon boyfriend that she loves unconditionally. And it's a new concept for her once abused boyfriend who thinks everything comes at a cost: who gets confused when Mualani just loves him without asking for anything in return and he just loves it so much it makes him weak for her; he'd do anything for her without asking for payment like he does with anyone else because she helped him heal and she's his darling little wife who he'd do anything for.

ajawnich (ajaw with the ability to go into human form because seriously. we NEED human ajaw in more ways than one) is your typical doomed mortal x immortal tragedy in which a dragon who is new to human emotions and thinks lowly of humans slowly starts to understand humanity over the years with his infuriating yet kind human companion. Both are emotionally constipated fools; Ajaw pining like a lovesick idiot because he's supposed to hate his companion and want him dead but when that day of death finally comes, Ajaw feels no joy or happiness: just empty as he looks himself in the mirror, touching his face, or, well, Kinich's face.

oronich (idk the ship name, but also it exists lol) is two characters who are seen somewhat as outsiders by their own tribes: Kinich, while loved by most of the children, has a negative reputation for his job while Ororon is seen as a problem child and cast out of society. The two ostracised characters coming together in a doomed "we're kinda similar, aren't we?" Eddie Munson and Chrissy Cunningham style (from stranger things, sorry chat) and forming an unexpected yet wholesome and definitely welcome bond with each other (they'd tend to their garden together).

lynich (a rarepair!! a popular rarepair is a miracle honestly) is two traumatized boys, the flirt and the flustered. One who speaks the truth outright, and one who's every word is a lie. One who thinks everything comes at a price, and one who thinks everything is a trick. When Lyney tells Kinich about his connections with the Fatui, Kinich isn't mad, surprised, but not mad. How could he be? When he knows why Lyney joined? He accepts him with open arms, Weighing the costs, befriending a member of the Fatui would most likely leave him out of their shadier affairs since Lyney would never harm him, right? Right. Even when Lyney succeeds Arlecchino, Even when he becomes a harbinger, even after everything: they're together, despite all the complications there are.

basically yeah. every kinich ship is valid rn. those are the popular ones at least-(ororon and kinich is not popular but it has more content than any others I've seen and ppl actually talked abt it at one point so it's being included)

Heat Waves was the funniest fic ive ever read because idgaf about either of those guys so it was just like 20 chapters of some guy crying and jacking off and then getting rejected.

I spent a ridiculously long time overthinking this, primarily because I literally could not choose a favorite of my Kingdom Hearts fics. So I'm cheating! I'm basically picking 3 fics from 3 different fandoms, just so I can be indecisive about KH.

Final Fantasy XV

1. At the top of this one I'm going to have to put Hardest of Hearts. This is purely because it was my first foray into the crackship that would end up eating my life, and I have to thank it for its service.

2. Equally well-loved is Sir Stabby and Friends. I had so much fun creating little robot friends for Prompto to make! And the unexpected OT4 was a nice bonus.

3. And a VERY close second to those is going to be Jewel of the Sea. I love soulmate fics SO MUCH y'all don't even understand, but I very rarely end up writing them. And despite it being another rarepair I feel like it really helped me flesh out my voice for Prompto and Dino.

Fullmetal Alchemist

1. This fandom is significantly easier, though I do have to do bonus cheating for this. Number one is Ruin the Sky. You will pry my scifi AUs out of my cold, dead hands.

2. Next is going to be Nine Lives Cafe. This one was just fun to write! And there was a surprising amount of thought put into it in the background, although I'm sad to say I'm sad to say that I lost my notes for continuing it several years ago and it's doomed to be ""completed"" as is.

3. And finally the part where we double cheat: the Dragon Scars series. It is the most self-indulgent thing I've ever written in my life. Mark my words, one day I WILL finish writing this bitch.

Kingdom Hearts

And finally, the reason for the cheating: I literally can't pick a favorite of these three.

1. Time of Your Life. Listen, 99.9% of the stuff I write is fluff or at least has a happy ending. And some sort of AU. This stupid crackship fic is a tragedy, entirely canon, and I am actually very pleased with the pacing of it. And, seriously, it's the only thing I ever finished that doesn't have a happy ending. I can't help but love it.

2. The Song That No One Sings. Another one for the crackships, but otherwise the polar opposite of the above. It's just a soft, simple urban fantasy romance. I do wish I'd actually fully fleshed out the worldbuilding for this, but we can't have everything.

3. The Forest. Not for any particular reason, I'm just still very fond of the fairy tale style writing I did. But I'm still sad that this remains my least read/liked fic for this fandom.

(And I'd also like to throw out honorable mentions to The End of the Beginning and Crumpled Memories, the two Good Omens fics I don't entirely hate. As well as Best Friends, a deeply unserious Ronin Warriors fic that basically wrote itself.)

breathe on the ashes - 106k heart project about the homestuck ancestors. it's about fighting fate and failing and being doomed and dying. also revolutionary martyrs and eldritch gods. i completed it 5 years ago now and would do some things differently today, but there are parts of it that are still.... some of my best writing. like, ever.

we never were good at doing what we're told - 113k heart project that's a soulmate AU written by someone who fucking hates soulmate AUs. mainly about the three narrators navigating their "soulmates as horror" lots in life with polyamory in the background. tons of vicious relationship fights, ugliness, snuggles, and face touching. it's also perhaps the most personal fic about suicide, bipolar disorder, psychosis that i've ever written.

why did love put a gun in my hand - the luz POV princess fic. i've worked harder on wwaitsoatl and my writing in that fic is better, but this one edges it out for my favorite. there's a lot of horror and characterization stuff in here that i'm really pleased with, even moreso than the character stuff i've explored in more canon compliant fic.

you're a far cry from an empire at peace - yes i know i rec this one Every Time but for good reason. a fic set in the toh princess AU that's about willow as eda's weed-smoking burnout apprentice. she is fucking perfect and the political stuff in here is SOOO GOOOOODDDD

meet hennessy - a gorgeous, evocative, breathtaking character study of hennessy from call down the hawk. it's ugly and raw and really really really fucking good. also worth noting that as far as i remember, this was the first piece of hennessy fanfiction published to ao3 that i didn't write myself. and it DELIVEREDDDDD.

and these are the days that make a forever - ADORABLE raven cycle ot6 polyamory fic about ronan navigating how to come out as gay and polyamorous to his shithead older brother. it is fucking hilarious and always good for a bad day.

bonus because i couldn't decide between ^ that one and:

Spirit and Tongue - another raven cycle fic, this one for the rarepairs of adam/henry and adam/gansey/henry. an AU where adam and henry are fae from opposing courts, and both are fighting for gansey's attention. gansey is a fae-touched human who's clever and sweet and is gonna earn these guys' affection if it kills him. So Fucking Good.

I have recently been compelled to crawl out of my hole and spread propaganda. Since other WIPs currently hold priority I'm unsure when I will actually write for these ideas, but they refused to leave me alone. Thus, enjoy a self-indulgent thoughtdump on my dumb little rarepair OTP. I am normal about them 🥺

It was an open secret to literally everyone in the Sanctuary that Antoinetta was madly smitten with their Speaker. Everyone including the Speaker himself. He never openly showed any reciprocation, or even any acknowledgement to this attraction beyond a humored look or shake of the head at her antics, or when a Brother or Sister teased about it on occasion. After all, they would reason- it must be a passing fancy, right? She'll get over it.

One day, Lucien catches wind of Antoinetta's little boasts - perhaps the remark about, say, taking Ocheeva's place one day? He thinks that, hmm, a mere Slayer speaks so assuredly! It may be entertaining to test her. He had once used everything in his power to save her life; he'd like to ensure such an investment does not throw her life away from growing arrogance. When he finds time to spare the Speaker plans a personal murder for her to undertake, and accompanies her on the journey to examine her progress. One thing leads to another. Then another. Whatever happened out there, their Brothers and Sisters most certainly noticed they appeared... closer than before when they returned.

However, theirs' is a private affair. It's another open secret, yes, but not one they care to flaunt or tease. Antoinetta might think it would be fun to run her mouth off about it, as she's known to do with most things, but her respect for Lucien prevails over her urge to gossip.

Antoinetta had a strict habit of calling Lucien 'Speaker' to his face, and it took her awhile to break out of it. She knows how dedicated he is in his role and wanted to express her utmost respect of that. He stops her one time and says: "Darling, when it is only us? You need only call me Lucien." Darling? She swoons and nearly faints.

When their schedules allow spare time together, their dates are of two varieties. One is full-blown homicide; the other is a shockingly innocent outing, such as dinner or a walk along the Cyrodiil countryside. There is often overlap between the two. Nothing screams romance to two serial killers like a waltz in the field while covered in blood and guts!

Lucien tends to let Antoinetta choose the occasion or location of their more pleasant trysts. He understands that she had lived a caged life before the Brotherhood, and wants to allow her the freedom to... well... simply live a little. It delights him more than he openly admits to see when she gets struck with wonder or excitement at a new sight or experience.

Antoinetta adores Lucien's robes. They are shockingly comfortable; it carries his weird scent of alchemy reagents and dead things; and it serves as a symbol of what she one day hopes to achieve within the Brotherhood. Yes she's put them on if ever she's awoken before him. Yes he has caught her in the act. She was initially fearful he'd find it disrespectful, but he just shrugged and let her continue. It's not that he found it... dare he say... endearing or anything. No. Not at all (lie). But she wasn't stealing it - not breaking a Tenet - so let her have her fun.

That silver dagger Antoinetta uses was a gift from Lucien. He is a man to put functional gifts in mind. If his lover cannot commit harm with the pretty thing he bought them, what is even the point? He once gifted her a bag of potatoes during a tryst; he was enamored to later watch her bludgeon a man into a coma with it. That was the moment when he subconsciously realized... by Sithis, he thinks he loves this woman.

I had an entire section written for how this ship would be affected by the events of the questline, but I believe it warrants a separate post. Enjoy the general fluff now; save the doomed romance for later 😏

ship: Eden Bingham/Chrissy Cunningham wc: 1.9k A/N: another suggestion from @heroeddiemunson who is the best ever <3 this rarepair has sparked something that I didn't know existed, and now I need a novel about them

Being brave was never Chrissy's strong suit. She had trouble standing up for herself, and she rarely spoke her mind for fear of ridicule. She was content to sit on the sidelines as the rest of the world passed her by because, at the very least, she couldn't get hurt if she didn't put herself out there.

But, as she walked into that airport holding the sign she'd made the night before, she couldn't think of a more terrifying thing she'd ever done.

When she was fifteen, her mother had signed her up for a pen pal program at their church. Their pastor had been promoting it as a way to connect with other teens who loved God and all he had to offer, and her mother had decided that she was in desperate need of connecting with exactly that kind of person. So, Chrissy wrote the first of many letters to Eden Bingham not really expecting to hear anything back.

What followed was several years and hundreds of letters shared back and forth with someone who was maybe the greatest person she’d ever gotten to know. They had so much in common and very similar upbringings despite the differences in their religions. Both of them came from a fairly strict, religious household, they were both the oldest siblings, and they both felt like they couldn’t be themselves in front of their families. She felt like she was able to share things with Eden that she’d never been able to share with anyone else before.

She felt like Eden was just a much cooler version of herself. She had this wicked sense of humor that had Chrissy laughing in almost every letter, and she gave the best movie recommendations even if the horror films she liked often scared Chrissy into sleeping with the lights on. She listened to bands that Chrissy had never heard of and sent her mixtapes with all the songs that she insisted Chrissy would love. She read everything that Chrissy recommended to her, and she always had the most insightful things to say when she wrote that she’d finished another book. She was open about the fact that she regularly got high and hid it from her parents, and she had them convinced that she was a good little Mormon girl even though they’d hate pretty much every aspect of her life if they knew the truth.

Eden was also the first person that Chrissy confided in about her own bisexuality. Eden had been so open about being interested in guys and girls from the start, so it felt only natural for her to share that bit of herself with her long distance best friend. There was no one else that she trusted enough to be that open with.

There was a secret part of her that thought that she was maybe falling for Eden with every new letter that she read, but she kept telling herself that they’d never work. At one point, they’d talked about the kinds of people they were interested in, and while Chrissy had been vague and only cared if the person she ended up with made her laugh and cared about her, Eden had made a point out of saying that she was typically only interested in girls that were the exact opposite of her. If she was too similar to her partner, it would never work. She’d joked that it was torture for her because she was clearly the best kind of person there was, but the heart wants what the heart wants, so she was doomed to suffer a girlfriendless existence. Chrissy knew that meant Eden would never love her back, and she had taught herself to be okay with that. She could be content with just being her best friend.

So, when Chrissy started college and decided she didn’t necessarily need to spend the holidays with her family anymore, she knew that there was only one person she really wanted to spend Christmas with. It was time for her to meet her best friend in person and enjoy the holidays for once. More letters were exchanged, and flights were booked so that Eden could come and spend two weeks with Chrissy at her campus apartment.

Now, Chrissy was waiting by the baggage claim, holding a sign with Eden's name on it, and regretting every decision that led her to this moment. What if she and Eden didn’t click when they were in the same room? What if they only had that connection when she was able to take her time and choose her words carefully? She had to be brave though. For this, she could be brave.

As she scanned the group of people exiting from where Eden's flight was supposed to be entering the baggage claim, there was nobody that fit the picture that she had in her head. Still, she stood tall and held her sign out in front of her. She'd probably just looked past her and not realized it. Eden would find her soon enough.

“You're Chrissy?”

Chrissy whipped her head towards the voice and was shocked by the appearance of the girl standing before her. She was about the same height as Chrissy, but that was the only thing that matched the picture in her head. Maybe it was because they'd never really discussed their appearances or sent each other pictures, but Chrissy had pictured someone exactly like herself. Maybe not as preppy, but she pictured another quiet, girly girl who dressed in a way that would please her parents. Instead, the girl standing before her was dressed all in black with chunky layered necklaces, bracelets, and rings on almost every finger. Her short, dark hair was a little messy, and her eyeliner looked intentionally smudged.

“Eden?”

“That's me.”

It didn't matter that Eden didn't look like she'd imagined. This was still her best friend, and she couldn't believe that she was actually here. Chrissy dropped her sign and flung her arms around the other girl.

“It's so good to finally meet you,” she said as she hugged her.

Eden hesitated at first, but soon she was hugging Chrissy back.

“You, too,” she replied.

“I'm so excited you're here. I have so much planned for your trip, but of course, we can do anything you want while you're here. So if there's anything I suggest that you're not into, we totally don't have to do it. I promise I won't be upset.”

Chrissy ended their hug only to take Eden by the hand and pull her towards the baggage carousel.

“Which one is yours?” she asked. “I'll carry it for you if you want. You must be exhausted after your flight. We don't have to do anything crazy tonight. Maybe we can just watch a couple movies? There's a rental place around the corner from my apartment building, so we could stop there on the way home, and you could pick out a handful of movies you haven't recommended to me yet. And we could order take out. What do you think?”

“You're very peppy,” Eden said after a moment.

“Oh.” Chrissy's face fell. She was already ruining this. She was just so excited that she couldn't contain herself.

“It's not a bad thing,” Eden reassured her. “It's just different. You're different than I expected.”

“So are you,” Chrissy admitted.

“I am?”

Chrissy nodded.

Just then, Eden noticed her suitcase and grabbed it off the carousel before she could miss it.

“Why don't you take me to your car, and you can tell me just how different I am.”

“It's not a bad thing,” she repeated Eden's sentiment. “I just expected someone more like me is all.”

“Really?”

“Well, yeah. We had such similar upbringings and so much in common that I pictured someone who looked like me.”

“So you read letters from a weed-smoking, horror movie obsessed girl who was faking her Mormon beliefs to keep her parents complacent, and you thought I was a cheerleader type?”

“You used cute kitten stickers and sent me glittery birthday cards!”

“I was being ironic.”

They burst out laughing with Eden clinging to Chrissy's arm to steady herself.

“What about you?” Chrissy asked between her giggles. “I told you that I was a cheerleader.”

“I don't know. You also told me that your mom forced you to try out. I figured it was just something you just went along with.”

Their shared laughter melted away all of the awkwardness that Chrissy was feeling and allowed her to relax. She could be calm around a pretty girl who knew everything about her and still wanted to be her friend. She could do this.

“Come on,” Chrissy said. “We can go back to my apartment and clear up anything else that might have gotten mixed up through our letters.”

“I'd really like that.”

“So, how many times did I accidentally give you nightmares with my movie choices?” Eden asked as she set her empty lo mein container down on the coffee table. She and Chrissy had skipped the rental place and opted for Chinese takeout and getting to know each other even better instead.

“Literally every single time it was an even remotely scary one.”

“Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have recommended so many of them.”

“Because then you would have stopped,” Chrissy admitted. “I like scary movies. I'm just a big baby about them if I'm watching alone.”

“So you're saying that if I watch them with you, you'll be okay?”

“Something like that.”

Chrissy didn't want to admit it, but it was getting harder for her to pretend she didn't have a crush on Eden anymore. She'd started to develop feelings for her when she was just words on a page, and now she was sitting on Chrissy's couch, and she was just as funny and smart and caring as she'd been in all of her letters. Chrissy knew what she wanted to ask. She just had to be brave enough to put it out there. She didn't want to make the rest of this visit awkward, but every time Eden smiled at her or touched her in some way, she could feel her heart skip a beat. She had to know if she had a chance.

“You once told me that your type was girls who are the exact opposite of you, and I'm realizing now that I have no idea what that means since I was picturing you so differently.”

“You're going to make me say it?” she asked.

“I'm just curious.”

“It's so embarrassing though. For multiple reasons.”

Maybe it was a trick of the light, but Chrissy was convinced that Eden's cheeks were turning a little pink as she spoke.

“I like the pretty, popular type. Very feminine and bubbly. And I've always had a thing for strawberry blondes.”

It was Chrissy's turn to blush which didn't go unnoticed by Eden.

“What about you?” she asked. “Still have no preference on looks?”

“As long as she can make me laugh  and make me feel cared for, looks don't matter to me. But I would be lying if I said that I didn't have a thing for brunettes who wear lots and lots of rings.”

“Good to know.”

Neither of them were willing to make a move just yet. Being in the same room was still so new that neither of them wanted to risk it. But, as Eden smiled over at her, Chrissy had a feeling that this was going to be her merriest Christmas yet.

The ghosts of the hound pits pub is one of the most amazing things I've ever read. I could feel the tragedy and the haunting atmosphere in every word, and it filled every moment with a bittersweet tone. I was waiting for the heartbreak to hit full force and when it happened, well, it was brilliant.

I already loved Billie, but you also made me love Cecelia in ways I can't explain. Let's just say, my soul is in pain and I have to lie down for a second to process how much everything hurts :)

i love them both too! cecelia is someone i overlooked myself on the first playthrough but when i came back to the game i found her really compelling, and wanted to do her some justice. to date it's the fic i've been most happy with, despite being doomed to not be as popular as something more fandom-palatable (more horror than romance; a rarepair; a F/F ship).

in a coincidence that made me laugh i've been (lovingly) accused twice recently of having a predilection for bad outcomes in my stories - i'm a big softie.... who admittedly does love high stakes & tension. i like the cathartic potential of fiction!

You and @undercat-overdog both sent me this one! And it's a good one. A complicated character I've thought a lot about and still don't feel much closer to understanding.

Sexuality Headcanon: idk, pansexual I guess? she does not understand this question.

Gender Headcanon: Ainu (Generally fem-presenting. Sometimes tree-presenting, bird-presenting, etc.)

A ship: Not to be boring, but Thingol. It's a fascinating relationship to explore - just, WHY? I interpret their relationship as ultimately very tragic. I believe she had good intentions and did really love him, in her eldritch way, and it just goes so badly.

A BROTP A Gen relationship: Daeron. [put this explanation under a cut because it got a bit long - how shocking]

A NOTP A rarepairing: Eöl. I have this one cracky theory that she met Eöl before she met Thingol and it didn't work out. An unrequited situation would be interesting here also.

A random headcanon: I think she feels a lot of guilt for her unique 'intervention' in the affairs of the Children largely failing. Also I think the starry ceiling of Menelrond changes based on what's going on in her mind.

General Opinion: I find her the most sympathetic of the Ainur, whom I tend to side-eye quite intensely. [Also putting the rest of this below the cut].

I know the implication of the last is that Daeron became great because of his love for Lúthien (I want to talk about this so bad right now but focus!) but I think it's no coincidence that the greatest elf minstrel ever had the goddess of song for a queen.

I have written their relationship as a complicated mentor-student type of thing with a maternal figure flavouring. My hc is that he's a bit of a prodigy from birth but Melian picks him out when she first shows up with Thingol. She takes him under her wing and turns him into a supercharged Song-wielder. More supercharged, perhaps, than a poor Child of Eru can handle. Oops?

General Opinion: I love how she interacts with the Children in a totally unique and intimate way; I love that she messes up; I love that she is the only Ainu to procreate (excluding Ungoliant maybe) and the tragedy of a being older than Arda, who will exist beyond Arda, losing her child; I love that she holds it down in Beleriand, defying Morgoth's power, through the whole First Age while all the other Ainur are, at best, sending dreams on streams and, at worst, binge-watching the Doom of the Noldor from on high.

Oh! And I love the stuff in NoMe about her being the leader of the guardians sent to Cuiviénen - the others being the Maiar who would later be the Istari (!!). I think it says a lot about how Tolkien saw her character that he gives her that role. Melian and Olórin would be another amazing relationship to explore.

Blessed Are The Meek (FC5) maybe? A canon-compliant character study of Jacob Seed and his fucked up cult family has no iteration where things turn out well in the end.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I don't know actually - maybe Quiet Promises because I just really enjoy that ending and it's one of the only bits of published fic I've written I can reread and not want to edit more. If I ever finished writing the last chapter of Swim Until You Can't See Land it would probably be that but I'm just so very very lazy.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I had a tumblr anon one give me shit for not putting icemav in a fic but it was so fuckin weird to get I just deleted the ask. My brother/sister/comrade in christ I am the most niche rarepair stay-in-my-lane kind of fic writer. I am not a popular author in any fandom I write in. Why on earth would you think I care.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I try to write smut once a year when Eurovision sends me into my annual bisexual frenzy. It's not very good (my smut, not Eurovision)

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Short answer is no. Long answer is no with the exception of a Pacific Rim/Assassin's Creed crossover which I keep as a never-to-publish deliriously self-indulgent writing exercise to dip into when I don't feel like being perceived through words. I've got a whole Hytham/Jacob thing going that I'm fucking feral for which is soooooooo big brained of me imo.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I'm aware of. I've read fics before where I can pick up a clear influence from my work on theirs but nothing like a straight up copy + paste.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nah. I've considered translating my own fics into Scots but it feels like a lot of effort for the sprinkle of folks who might read it.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No but I wouldn't be against it. I did a lot of rp writing back in the day with OCs and I really liked the collaborative aspect of it.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

I don't pick favourites I love all my insane children equally. I will say most ships I gravitate towards have a doomed by the narrative / love doesn't conquer all but it's enough in the moment kind of dynamic and I can trace that back to some of my early favourites (Ten/Rose, Merthur) to now (Kassidas, Eivor/Vili, RebelCaptain, so on)

15. What's a WIP you'd like to finish but doubt you ever will?

For Those We Left Behind. I have a lot of love for that fic but it is very reflective of the time in my life when I started writing it (bouncing off the walls bored out my tits under lockdown.) Lots of enthusiasm and energy to pour into it but little patience or planning. I look back on it as an unwieldy, rambly thing. I still do pick at it (and want to keep updating) but if we're honest I don't think I'll ever quite reach the finish line beyond the pieces that are already firmed up in my head.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I can turn a tasty metaphor on occasion. I tend to think I have a strong handle on the characters I write the perspective of and put a lot of effort into making them feel true and honest to the source material.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Plot - there's a reason why I tend to write canon compliant/canon adjacent and it's because it gives me the bones of the canon to work from. Pacing is a perpetual struggle. My attempts at smut are laughable.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

If it's done to serve a narrative purpose and/or show something about a character, sure why not. Absolutely abhor written out accents though (unless, again, for a very specific narrative/character purpose.)

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter and Stargate. There's probably still some 12/13 year-old Reiver fic floating around in the internet ether that I hope no one is ever subjected to again.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

I honestly don't have one - everything I've published I've loved at one point or another for a variety of reasons. Gun to my head I'll say Quiet Promises because I think it's one of the highest quality fics in my catalogue from an editing, pacing, and character perspective. Writing isn't about the technical skill to me though, it's about how it makes me feel and the audience feel, so no favourites here.

It's exactly what I love about Sirius/Narcissa - the sense of desire and shame and duty and fury and hate and love! And the tragedy of it all! I loved how the author wove together the nonlinear narrative, which gave the fic a haunted and inevitable quality - very doomed lovers bound by fate vibes.

Post-war Drarry with major (deliberate) Bright Lights Big City + Gossip Girl + Cruel Intentions + Bling Ring vibes. Of course I’m obsessed. The author manages to excel at the mood, plot, characterization, angst, world-building, sex, AND humor??? Is there anything the author can't do?? I cannot emphasize enough how this fic has EVERYTHING. Do mind the tags, as always.

It’s hot and dark and hilarious and moving. Draco with a coke habit and a heart is everything. Good guy Harry (through Draco’s biased eyes) is also everything. And a stunning, classic fanon!Pansy, my beloved. Plus, there’s Sprinkles the dog, who is the star of the show. (The dog lives, if you were worried.)

They fit the stipulation I put forward in the disqualifications page that I won't do incest related things. Itd feel like I'm condoning it or I was making it seem cute in some way and incest isn't cute/attractive and shouldn't be condoned. It literally only removes like 6 ships total out of a hundred plus possibilities, cope.

Why are all the ship kids gay/trans/etc?

Cause gay rights and gay wrongs :) there are completely cishet kids though too they are just ~ rare ~

Will you ever consider adding *insert au here*?

Like I said in my disqualifications post, if they don't fit any of those to an extreme degree, especially number 2, I will consider adding them to the second list with a bunch of other Sanses.

Can I draw these ship kids? Can I ship shipkids with other ship kids/Other characters? Can I self-ship myself with shipkids here?

Absolutely! Id love to be tagged in it too! I may even reblog the post here so others can see it! All I ask is you don't put them in ships with adult characters/gen 0 Sanses/original au Sanses (like the ones on my list), don't ship them inappropriately (like a 17 year old ship kid with a 10 yr old, have some decorum) or ship them with their siblings/half siblings/other related family. Do you ship the ships you draw for? Do you have any ships between ship kids?

Not all of the obviously but I do have a few sans amasui ships I really love like dreamfresh, kustard, outersci and others but I tend to like rarepairs the most. Also yes! I do ship some of my ship kids together with each other (blossom and moon) and with ship kids outside of my own (like luna x goth is an ancient love of mine and Doom x lux). It's abit uncommon for me but I do ship some! None of them are really canon though so if you ship them a different way, as long as it's abiding to their sexuality, I don't mind!

What dose MLM/ILW/NbLnb mean?

These are conjoining community labels and I use them more for bi/gay/hetero curious ocs. MLM means men love(ing) men and describes a man that likes other men, this label includes bi men and gay men. When I say a male oc is MLM, I mean that he knows he likes boys but he doesn't specify his sexuality further. He could like girls or enbies or he couldn't, he's not sure yet. Oh and since it's related; ILW/ILM/ILNB means intersex/intergender so ILW means intersex/Intergender loving women. I means intersex/Intergender, W means woman, M means man and NB means nonbinary.

I won't entertain this. Anyone can use any pronouns ever, Neopronouns are older than Shakespeare and all LGBT discourse is poison. " I can't physically pronounce Zey/Zem!" What's this nonbinary character's birth sex/dead name?

Although I do know (because I made them), why do you wanna know what genitals this 5 year old character has? :) that's awful fucking weird dude. Idk about youuu :) (<- not thinking about smashing your creep ass head in/hj)

"Intersex is a sex, not a gender"

Putting this to the side because I'm intersex, I've had Perisex(non-intersex people) genuinely say this and yes, people can and have and will describe their gender as Intergender/intersex. It just means that because your intersex, you can't nessesarily be labeled as cis or trans or nonbinary. Your technically cis because you identify with your gender/sex assigned at birth and that gender/sex is intersex. Technically the label is cintersex/cintergender but Intergender is basically the same. It just means your gender is your intersexuality. It's not that complicated and if you arnt Intergender, especially if you arnt intersex at all, you have no business telling us what our gender can and can't be.

How does a 3 year old know their full gender, sexuality and pronouns?

They don't! The guide is applicable to them throughout their whole lives. That 3 year old doesn't know that their polyam and bi right at that age but when they grow up, they will know and that will be their orientation and relationship desires. The ages present are really just to show the age differences between them, their siblings and the other ship kids. That 3 yr old has a version of them in a timeline right now where they are 30 years old, its all relative.

The birthdays/orientations/genders/pronouns/etc you put for the main Sanses arnt right.

Your correct. It's because I did my own takes on them and I'm basing them off my own headcanons and also because not every creator of those Sanses ever answered those questions. Technically these ship kids could both apply to my versions as well as apply to them canonically.

I spin a wheel with all the options and just pick what it lands on! (Of course with some basic stuff like no lesbian trans men, no Aro/ace/Aroace pre-teens and below, etc)

Although my pronouns were already added to the main post, all the information on my sona's sheet applies to me, the real Zen and runner of this blog! (I go by Zen or Zenia, I'm two spirit Genderfluid and intersex, I'm bi Arospec and polyam, my favorite color is a minty teal green, I'm 23 yrs old, my birthday is June 4th, etc etc)
