its near mother's day

Heres some headcanons

Mink, jing raine and Jennifer also celebrate it. Jennifer does it for the whole year tbh. She just doesn't feel like one day is enough. Which is true lol. And being that she really has only her mother, she does spend whatever chance she can get with her mom. (For father's day she gives their butler gifts. Dude's like an uncle/dad figure to her. And she is a bit more somber on that day, spending time liking through old photos of her late dad.)

For mother's day. Max and min just gets their brother gifts cuz (Well they do make things for their mom. Just put it at their parents memorial. Same for their dad on Father's day)

The other next gen kiddos would also spend time with their mom's and give them gifts as well

Josef, Evie, Micheal and Tabitha still celebrate mother's day. Each of them are aware of who their mom's were. Cuz they've been snooping a bit. Just still not know where their mom's are. And tend to bug their dad's to talk about what happened every year. Least to say it's a touchy subject

Chase and Becky have stuff that they made for their parents as well. Before Carrie came back they would just give the gifts to Two brains but

In next gen au now also Carrie. She cries (they're happy tears dw.) Blu gives her cheese.

Liam would have trouble on what to do for his mother. Thinking maybe if I destroy and take over fair city that would be a perfect gift. And his dad is like "heyyy how about we try something smaller like making her breakfast instead ^^;" and thus invertedly saves the city from destruction for one day.

Allie, Izzy and Eleanor as well make their mother breakfast. And then spend the entire day helping her out, with making herbs and other medicines.

Personality: Creative, innovating, silly, somewhat responsible

Raine is always thinking up new ideas for her latest arts and crafts project. she uses her friends as inspiration as well as the adventures they go on. Like pinkie pie she can break the fourth wall. very knowledgeable about latest trends and fashion she carries around her giant paintbrush in her hammer space in case of emergencies.

She is prone to breaking the fourth wall if it means keeping the plot rolling and the audience entertained. She could be having a conversation with her friends and says “have you notice the text is different etc.” out of nowhere. Her friends are still very much confused to this day about what she is talking about. They have come to the conclusion that maybe its just best to leave some things unquestioned. Raine will be Raine after all.

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke - what if every time you read aloud something came out of the book? That's it. that's the plot.

Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke - there's a war during but it's not the main focus. it follows the encounters between two men who have rediscovered magic in England.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho- it counts dammit, it's got fantastical elements. the simple story of a shepherd's journey to find treasure in Egypt and the characters he encounters.

Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia - the journey through Jazz Age Mexico with a poor girl who released the imprisoned Mayan god of death. more a journey than a war.

The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea by Axie Oh - what it says on the tin includes an underwater kingdom and a sleeping prince. no war but several action scenes.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer - this standalone novel following the Queen of Hearts before she started lopping heads off isn't deathless but it is warless.

The Misadventurers - an almost epic tale by Steven Partridge - a hilarious party quest led by a bard and a whole ragtag team of DnD -esque characters.

Fablehaven by Brandon Mull - sent to stay with your grandparents? not a biggie? There is a world of mystical creatures out in the back? now you have my attention.

The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester - if X-Men were sketchy af with a young girl with flight powers uncovering what has been happening.

The Magicians House by William Corlett - three evacuees sent to their uncle and find a neighbor the titular magician and his Golden House with a hint of fantasy to it.

The White Giraffe by Lauren St. John - the first in the Animal Healer series [you should read the other four] an orphan goes to live with her grandmother on her game reserve and uncovers a mystery involving a white giraffe and poachers trying to capture it.

It’s remarkably easy to hurt ourselves in the pursuit of feeling good. From genital abrasions to broken skin to pulled muscles to infections to allergic reactions, even fractures or breaks, exploring our bodies and their capacities sexually can sometimes mean finding out⁠ what’s past a bodies’ limits. We can think there was enough lube, but who among us (cough) hasn’t found out at least once that there wasn’t? We can forget that when it feels to us like we couldn’t possibly get enough of something, our body parts may have an entirely different and considerably threshold (um). Heck, you can hurt yourself just getting a date a glass of water (says my once-broken toe, bitterly).

For whatever reason (probably a combination of ableism⁠, totally inhumane sexual⁠ ideals and maybe some leftover stuff from our DNA way back when we lived a wilder existence), if and when people get hurt during sex⁠, they often feel ashamed or embarrassed, like they have ruined something. Getting hurt in our bodies is as acceptable an experience as feeling good in them. It’s not “weak” to get hurt, and it doesn’t mean anyone failed at anything, it just means we’re living in the body of a mere mortal, not a sexual superhero. So, if some kind of sex injury happens to you or a partner⁠, don’t get hung up in negative feelings about it. Instead, turn your attention to yourself or whoever got hurt. Not only might you or they need physical care, caring for ourselves and each other in attentive, tender ways is only likely to enhance our sexual experiences and the ways we connect to ourselves or one another through them. This kind of care, much like general sexual aftercare, can be something that is a highlight of a sexual experience, even when something painful or bummerful happened which that care is centered around.

Went to a zoo where there's a gay penguin couple but the problem is they're the only penguin couple at this point that the zoo has who are healthy enough to safely raise an egg so they keep being given eggs to raise and I'm just losing it over the mental image imagine being this old gay couple who just wants to live in peace but you keep having babies handed to you because all of your friends have too many issues to look after them

Although it’s run was short, the series led to a renaissance of animated shows, such as Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Regular Show, and more.
