reminiscing whatever the hell was this and i'd like to point out a few excerpts (with timestamps) that still haunt me in my sleep:

the way miles gazes deeply into alex's eyes on 0:18 before their silly forehead rubbing......... absolutely platonic!

except for the quick glance at the guitar on 0:19, alex doesn't take his eyes off miles throughout the whole bit. for anything. at all. just watch it

alex being completely mesmerized by miles. and his response is to lick his lips on 0:36.

miles notices alex's undivided attention and of course he has to reward him by sliding his forehead up and down on his on 0:38. fucking insane response

miles gasping at the end of their guitar sex “thing” (on 0:48) and alex giggling in response. they're so intimate it makes me physically ill :)

Milex at the Paradiso

The very lovely @punkrockscully wrote a poem about the two Last Shadow Puppets gigs at the Paradiso in Amsterdam at my request.

It's *so* good. SO GOOD that I'm working on a companion fic about the "rolling your eyes back in your head pipeline."

While I only wrote the very beginning of the fic today, I have 9 pages of research and photos about these two gorgeous gigs (particularly the first, where they share what appears to be a sweet little onstage kiss). But my favorite bit? The encore for the whole The Age of the Understatement tour begins with Leonard Cohen's Memories. Give it a watch:

a little detail that i noticed (and adore) about alex is how sometimes he gets so comfortable with some of the people he meets that he just takes photos with them by glueing his cheek/forehead/whole face on them in such a lovely way, like this:
