I brought my cat to visit different vet oncologists throughout June. Finally, I finished this work before the end of Pride Month! I drew Chromie holding my kitty because I wish she could take my cat back to last year when the poor little baby was still healthy.😭

Warcraft: The Beginning / Ruth Negga as Queen Taria Wrynn

This beautiful grey velvet dress appears in the epilogue, at the king's funeral. Queen Taria was a new character created for the movie, meaning there was no animated version to draw upon and they could design her look from scratch. It's hard to see in the actual film, but she has the lion of Stormwind worked into the back of the gown!

I can imagine Varian Wrynn looking for an engagement ring to present to Tiffin. The man never met her before, and it was an arranged marriage, so he’s already stressed enough about impressing her. Jewelers crawling over themselves to help him, I imagine it's gaudy with like, yellow and blue diamonds because ALLIANCE colors!

Despite that, sweet Tiffin loved it despite how over the top it was. Because Varian was so fucking awkward about it. He probably dropped it twice while proposing.

So... Regarding that one fancomic about the Wrynn family I mentioned working on...

I finished inking every pages. I need to scan the latest ones and then put everything in colours. I still need to see how exactly I'll do it considering I will start my summer job in August till I go back to school in October. I should have enough free time to colour the 17 pages and post the whole story in four parts.

I'm also considering making a new blog that will host my fancomics, anyways, I still have a lot of stuff to figure out.

In the meantime, here is the cover (might change in the future)

November: Grey Redux

Warcraft: The Beginning / Ruth Negga as Queen Taria Wrynn

Taria wears a good deal of grey in this movie. Here we see her in a patterned cloak fastening over the right shoulder and adorned with a sapphire-and-silver pin. Underneath, she wears a short-sleeved gown of the same shade, with sheer, lacy, side-slit, elbow-length sleeves showing beneath that. The grey overdress has a band of embroidered decoration at the end of the sleeve, and there's a hint of a belt. Too bad we don't get to see more of this outfit!

Costumes for this movie were designed by Mayes C. Rubeo.
