have you guys considered nobody in the wilderness has died in ways that couldn’t be considered a martyr? we know Jackie yes and to a degree Laura Lee but also Javi. Javi died a martyr against the group’s hunger. saints… the saints they are so tragic the saints the saints the saints

Lesbian Misty Quigley who’s always wanted nothing more than to be normal, to be included, but can never quite get there and doesn’t know why. Lesbian Misty Quigley with comphet, who’s always manipulating men to try and get them to like her, who serial dates and tries to be sexy for them, because that’s what she thinks she’s supposed to do. Who seeks approval like she needs air, yes from men, but more importantly from her female peers whose opinions matter most to her. Lesbian Misty Quigley who found her place in The Wilderness, being useful to these girls who meant everything to her, and who has felt unmoored, without a purpose since they left The Wilderness. Lesbian Misty Quigley who has been in love with Nat since they were kids, who translates that love into devotion and obsession and acts of service. Lesbian Misty Quigley who asks “when people look at me do they just see someone desperate for love?” because she is desperate. She’s desperate for the approval and validation she’s been chasing her whole life, that she thinks is synonymous with love, but even more so she’s desperate for real love, actual reciprocated romantic love. But she can’t accept that she wants that from women because then she’d have to accept that her worst fears are true: she is different. So she lies and manipulates and stalks and forces her way into people’s lives because that’s the only way she knows how to love them.
