cupid!goku & psyche!chichi au
Based on Antonio Canova’s iconic sculpture ‘Psyche revived by Cupid’s Kiss’. I did a bunch of sketches based on this sculpture as reference, but decided not to do an exact replica despite it being one of the most romantic poses ever in art. I finished this on May 7th and held back on posting until now :)

Heart & Soul
AngelicRadio (Adam x Alastor Fanfic)
This is basically a first-draft! So it’s a little clunky but I’m working on this for Valentine’s Day!
Please let me know what you think!
In their small village, whispers spread like wildfire. From the moment Alastor was born, his beauty was otherworldly—his features so symmetrical, so perfect, that people spoke of him as though he were a divine being in human form. Some fell to their knees in reverence. Others avoided him entirely, too overwhelmed by his presence to even meet his gaze.
His own family treated him like a relic, something sacred but untouchable. His mother would stroke his face with trembling fingers, muttering prayers of gratitude. His father, a man of deep faith, feared that such beauty could only be a test from above—or worse, a trick of the Adversary.
And yet, for all the admiration, Alastor was alone.
No suitors dared approach him, despite his kind words and charming smile. Lovers who yearned for him from afar grew tongue-tied in his presence. The weight of expectation, of reverence, became suffocating.
"Beauty is a curse," Alastor whispered to himself, watching the candlelight flicker in his chamber. He had seen men and women alike fall in love, share stolen kisses under the moonlight. But for him, love was a distant dream, unreachable and intangible. He’d convinced himself that perhaps he was above such “human” needs of affection. But in truth, he yearned for some comfort. After all, what mortal didn’t want to be touched by another. At least holding hands would be ideally nice!
His fate, however, was not to remain stagnant.
Jesus himself, in all his wisdom and celestial foresight, spoke to his Father. Alastor, he said, was too beautiful for the world of men. His presence disturbed the balance, ensnaring hearts yet leaving them unfulfilled. He could not remain among mortals.
So it was decreed that Alastor would be left upon a desolate crag, offered to a being beyond human understanding— a cruel and savage, serpent-like winged evil.
The proclamation sent a shudder through the village. His mother wept, his father prayed, but neither could change the will of Heaven.
So, under the cold light of the stars, Alastor was led to the lonely cliffside, dressed in white, a sacrifice to his unknown fate.
Yet as he stood at the precipice, gazing down into the dark abyss below, the winds whispered something new. A voice, low and knowing, brushed against his ears.
"Did they tell you Lucifer was coming?"
The voice was smooth, rich like honey and fire, carrying both amusement and something else—something possessive.
And from the darkness, wings unfurled.
A figure stepped forward, golden eyes glinting in the night. “Nah bitch! I’m here to represent!”
A fallen angel, draped in celestial ruin, with power coiled around him like a living thing.
Adam.
And from that moment, Alastor's story truly began.

This is my re-drawing of Le réveil de Psyché by Guillaume Seignac. Le réveil de Psyché means “The Awakening of Psyche” the story goes
Psyche is a mortal woman so beautiful that she is compared to the goddess Venus, provoking jealousy from the goddess. To punish Psyche, Venus sends her son Cupid to make Psyche fall in love with a hideous creature, but Cupid falls for her himself and whisks her away to a magical palace. Cupid forbids Psyche from ever looking at his face, but her sisters, filled with envy, convince her to sneak a glimpse with a lamp, causing Cupid to flee. To regain Cupid's love, Psyche must complete a series of dangerous tasks set by Venus, including retrieving a golden fleece from a dragon and fetching a box of beauty from the underworld. In the final task, Psyche is told not to open the box, but her curiosity leads her to peek inside, causing her to fall into a deep sleep. Cupid, unable to bear her loss, finds Psyche and awakens her with a kiss, proving her love and devotion.

OMG STOP guardian angel revalink au is so smart
(referencing the above oomf's amazing revali sketches)
OKAY but i just took into consideration the fact that u also drew revali with a bow in his hands in that picture and it made me think about cupid/eros so NOW i'm thinking.... what about eros!revali x psyche!link au 👁️
link being so beautiful (but so unaware of how beautiful he is), that the people of hyrule begin to forget the worship of aphrodite!hylia, which angers her and so she makes revali go to hunt psyche!link down........ but in trying to hunt link down, revali sees link and falls in love with him at first sight 🫣

about the parallels between bryce and chad / cupid and psyche.
as a disclaimer: though some of this is headcanon, i will try, for this one analysis, to remain as close to canon as possible, reconstructing the dynamics from what we have in canon because!! somehow they are actually canon!!
so, the story is a bit known, but just so we can have it here: venus was mad because everyone was saying this girl, psyche, was as beautiful as her, so she ordered her son, cupid, to have her fall in love with the ugliest man on earth. however he misses and falls for her instead. he hides her in his castles and they can stay together as long as she doesn't see his face. except that one night she betrays the promise and looks at his face with a candle. he has to leave her, and venus says that she will only have him back if she goes through three trials. she manages to complete the task, and she and cupid can stay together forever.
on the other hand, chad and bryce. now, we know for sure that they have something going on during chapter three (see the dialogue between justin and tad about the two of them wrestling at night and all. like when you read it it's quite easy to understand why it was cut from the final game), but, then chad is with lola during chapter three. the dynamic we could guess is that chad has, for some reason, left bryce behind (my reasoning is internalized homophobia but that is nothing certain).
there's a betrayal of trust there, you see, though it was the manifestation of some deeper issue that troubled the relationship to begin with. and i think you can already see the parallel there!!
and it caused them to drift away. it hurt like only broken trust can. and then, of course, even once they have acknowledged their mistake and the underlying issue, they cannot just go back to each other like it was nothing. chad probably won't have to descend in hell, but he certainly shall prove to bryce that he can be trusted again, that he truly loves bryce enough to be patient and to gain back what he's broken.
the fable of cupid and psyche is about how you sometimes cannot just throw yourself into something- in the context of the original work it was about religion, but in the isolated story it's about a relationship; being madly in love really isn't enough, and when there's something missing at the beginning only hurt can come at the end. but once there's a work, once the trust is not just blindly given but is built and learned- that is what can really make a valuable and lasting relationship. do you see what i mean
