I love the Sawyer family so very much

this isn’t exactly an art request (unless you wanna draw them w/ pride flags ofc!) but do you have any pride headcanons for the sawyer family? if so, what are they?

I do have a few actually! Most of them are things I’ve seen other people say lol

Drayton: love the hc that he’s a transman. We love elderly trans people. I personally kinda see him as straight but I do like the Drayton/Lefty ship so maybe bi? Pronouns he/him

Bubba: genderfluid, or maybe cis and gnc. I like all the trans hcs but I think I kinda lean more towards him being a guy who’s gnc. As for sexuality, we all know what Drayton thinks of s-c-e-x so I don’t think Bubba would have much room to explore. I can see him as maybe pan, or unlabeled? He just likes some people and don’t think too much of it. Might lean towards women or at least fem-presenting people. Pronouns he/him when he’s male presenting, she/her when female

Nubbins: gay. I love Franklin/Nubbins and you will have to pry that ship from my cold dead hands. Can also see him as bi. I also don’t think he cares is much about gender, like Bubba he just likes some people and that’s the end of that. He/him

Chop Top: I think he gives unlabeled/omni vibes. Once again, he doesn’t care about gender and stuff, he likes them for their person, not their gender. Alternatively he could be straight but bi-curious. As for gender stuff I feel like he would dabble in some gender nonconformity, and might be genderqueer (also transfem Chop Top would be awesome). Everyone (including himself) defaults to he/him but he doesn’t care if you call him something else, it doesn’t matter to him

Bobby gets back on the bus from ‘Nam a week or so later than the other soldiers in his unit. They kept him in the hospital a while, doing surgeries on his head and rebuilding his skull out of metal.

There was one part of him he couldn’t get back though. Not ever.

He’d heard the news about Nubbins through a postcard for some roadside attraction they’d killed the owners of years ago to drive out competition. Written on the back in scrawly writing, they made it clear as day- “Your brother is dead.”

Not that he believed it. Nubbins wouldn’t leave him. They promised as kids not to die without the other.

He’s still in his uniform, still stained with his own blood, when he storms upstairs to their old shared room.

“Robert Sawyer don’t you dare defy me! Get your skinny ass back here!” Drayton called after him, maybe trying to protect him.

He hadn’t listened.

They kept Nubbins. They even put a little over shirt on him so he wouldn’t get cold. And Bubbas keeping him company and everything! It’s like nothings wrong at all.

Bubba cries as he holds him. Weeps and shakes and blabbers on and on.

Bobby doesn’t move away from the doorway yet. He just doesn’t wanna spook his little brother.

“He-Hey Bubba.. N-Nubs.”

His Bubba looks up at him, and there’s tears in those big eyes. It reminds him of when they were little, and Bubba was just getting real good at walking, when he’d tripped and skinned up his hands and his knees.

The only difference is back then Nubbins had been the one to pick Bubba up and make him giggle by blowing a little raspberry on his cheek or telling him something silly, bringing the light back to their toddler brother's face.

This time, Bubba carries Nubbins. And Nubbins just stares. He lifts him up real gentle-like, and places him in Bobby’s arms.

Up close, Bobby can see the places they stitched and mended on his brother. Metal ties and staples keep his joints together in some places.

But he’s together! So the shape he’s in, he’s practically okay! Bobby expected worse when he heard he got hit by one of those big rig trucks. In his mind, his twin was just a pile of gore and bones, all the stuff they never use in their cooking.

Bobby helps Nubbins to stand up, ignoring Bubba's panicked noises, and just keeping his hands under his brother's armpits to keep him from crumbling down onto the ground.

His jaw is broken, held together by a couple of stitches, so Bobby does the talking for him, “What-What’chu cryin’ ‘b-bout?”

Bubba sobs and makes more of his whimpery little noises in response, showing the subject of his panic by grabbing Nubbins by his shoulders and just shaking. Rattling his loosely strung together bones and making just the sickest crunching noise.

Well, he always was a little scrawny. It makes Bobby smile just a little to see his brothers haven’t changed all that much.

He even helps Nubbins raise up his stiff hand and wipe away the tears under Bubba's mask with them, “I-It’s o..k-kay! Your b-big brothers a-are here!”

Bubba still looks skeptical, so Bobby does the only thing he can think of and initiates a group hug. First he hugs their little brother, then gives Nubbins a little push forward. Instantly Bubba squeezes them back, his sobs turned to quiet sniffles, comforted in his big brothers’ arms.

All these big emotions and feelings are enough that Bobby could just sing! So he does. He belts some lines of an old Sly song that’s a few years old by now.

“It’s a family affair, oh..! Blood out there, blood out there!!”

“N-Nubbins sing the-the backup!!” He encourages his twin to join, holding up his cracked jaw and bobbling his head back and forth for him while he sings the words in echo, again in that slightly different pitch he uses to speak for Nubbins.

That part even gets Bubba to giggle a little. Just like when they were young and the only way they could get the baby to smile was to play together. No fighting, no yelling, no calling names and tearing hair out and throwing punches.

Call him a hippie, but that inspires something in Bobby’s heart. Makes him feel some genuine affection, “Let’s..Let’s all p-promise right n-now! No more l-leavin’ each other. Not for n-nothin’!”

To seal the deal, he holds out his shaky hand, leaving only his pinky finger up. Bubba instantly locks his larger finger around Bobby’s, and together, they help unfurl Nubbins’ hand, slow so they don’t bust any of the patch jobs, and have him join in the pinky promise.

Everything will be fine now.

Nubbins wasn’t really gone. They’d always have him. So what if he needed a little extra help to get by? He always had, and so did Bubba. Bobby didn’t mind taking care of them.

That’s what brothers are for.

I started blabbering with the Hewitt story, so here is something I would've added-

"There was that one time the twins did try and coax you thinking one of them got hurt- Chop-Top drenched himself in some victims blood, bit himself, (why? You dunno) and Nubbins made sure the victim did exactly he told them what to do, including giving them a dull knife.

Drayton took no part- he thought it was a bit cruel.

He had some good laughs at your reaction! You don't normally hear Chop-Top yelp- but when he did, you immediately went out of the house and- your first instinct was to get defensive, not exactly fight, immediately getting infront of your brother-

Ehh.. let's just say Nubbins killed the victim instead of you- as soon as the victim died you just started sobbing and hugging Chop-Top hard enough he thought he might break a rib.

Let's just say. They didn't try a lot after that- a few attempts, even from Bubba, but you still haven't gotten your first kill."

How would the Sawyer family react to their first kiss? (+ Thomas Hewitt)

A/N: I thought for a long time about whether I really wanted to start something with the horror fandom here and I've decided to do it! I'm a huge Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan and accordingly I'm going to write something about these characters. This is my first time writing for the Sawyers and Thomas, so please show mercy!

Warnings: GN.Reader, mention of s(c)ex, mention of cannibalism, I use they/them pronouns for Bubba

Characters: Bubba Sawyer, Drayton Sawyer, Chop Top Sawyer, Nubbins Sawyer, Thomas Hewitt

Bubba Sawyer:

They would squeal loudly and mumble something that you can't understand

They never thought that someone as adorable as you would ever kiss them!

They would also be so happy that they would hug you and spin around on the spot

If your ribs aren't broken from the hug, they wouldn't let go until you couldn't breathe anymore

Then they would apologize with loud whimpers and squeaking noises

If the brothers found out, they would be a little shy before admitting it

They would make fun of it in their own way, but you didn't mind

But they themself would never kiss you on the mouth afterwards, but on the cheek or forehead

They just feel too insecure to kiss you on the mouth without really knowing that you want it too (But oh boy, you want it)

But you also respect that they doesn't want to step out of their comfort zone

Drayton Sawyer:

This poor old man would say insults under his breath

Don't expect too much of a reaction from him, he doesn't believe much in love and (as he would spell it) scex

But he's an old fashion man that means he would also give you a peck back (But only if his brothers aren´t around-)

But nothing more

"Why would you kiss an old man like me now?" would be a question he would ask you, but he still has a slight grin on his lips

Sometimes he also teases you that these lips recently ate a human

If his brothers found out about this, he would beat them with his broom

Bubba would just shyly turn away and cover their eyes, so Drayton only insults them

Don't you dare kiss him in front of his family! He doesn't like to do it, but if you provoke him, he'll use the broom on you too!

With him, there would only be small pecks, don't expect more from him

Chop Top Sawyer:

He would jump around happily and scream loudly

"I just got a kiss! I just got a kiss!"

Then he would ask you for a kiss again

And then again

And then again-

His brothers wouldn't even have to find out, he would tell his brothers himself

When Drayton acts disgusted or disappointed, Chop Top just teases him about being jealous

When you're alone, you always listen to music together and while listening to the music, you would kiss over and over again

Chop Top says that you should time your kisses to the beat

After your first kiss, there would be no more "normal" kisses, only passionate kisses

Nubbins Sawyer:

He would be similar to his twin brother

After your first kiss, which was just a small kiss, you wouldn't kiss normally anymore

Sometimes he would take pictures of him kissing your cheek or gently biting you (aka. His way of kissing you)

I can really imagine that sometimes he would just gently bite you instead of kissing you

"B-b-but this is m-my way t-t-o kiss you, y-y-y/n!"

You accept it as long as he doesn't bite you hard

The pictures he takes he would hang on your wall or try to sell to some victims

Just like his twin brother, Nubbins would just tell everyone (Even the victims-)

He would be like: "Y-y-y-you know…! I-i just ha-ad my first k-kiss!"

He might be a little too proud of it, but give him this moment

Thomas Hewitt:

At first he would be completely overwhelmed

For a whole minute he would just stare at you and not move at all before he would flinch and shake his head slightly

Although you could hardly see it through his mask, he would turn completely red

After that he would gently stroke your cheek and grunt quietly

Luda May would just smile lovingly at you two and murmur quietly how proud she was of her son

Hoyt would just gag quietly before sending Thomas back to the basement to continue working on the ,,dinner"

Thomas would only kiss you in the basement or when Hoyt wasn´t near you two

When you go to sleep, you sometimes kiss more passionately, but only when you go to sleep

You would play with his long hair while he would stroke your back

Before he goes out to hunt the victims, he gives you a quick kiss on the lips
