"Your highness, the Empress has returned, do you wish to see her?" (F/N)'s lady in waiting informed.

*I would love to, but.......* She looked at the mountain of work she still had to do with disdain.

"I have to much work at the moment, I will have to see her at dinner," (F/N) sighed.

"As you wish your highness," (F/N)'s lady in waiting gave her an understanding look.

Timeskip after dinner

"So, you where unable to talk with her?"

"It seems that my father is quite........sensitive about the subject and I won't be able to talk with my mother until I'm done with this work," (F/N) could feel a headache nearing her.

"Perhaps tomorrow you'll be able to see her?" (F/N)'s lady in waiting tried to comfort her but.....

*I still have to do all this!!* (F/N) groaned inwardly as she stared at the pyle of work her father had given her in the morning.

"If I spend four more ours in this, I'll only have two hours left of this work and two hours more from my daily work.........."

"Your highness?........"

"Zaida," (F/N) turned to look at her suddenly.

"Y-Yes?" Zaida answered startled.

"Bring me a pot of ginseng tea," (F/N) informed.

"Are you going to pull another all nighter my lady?!" Zaida asked her eyes filled with worry.

"I've done it before, it'll be a peace of cake," (F/N) had already started to fill her work before she even finished her statement.

Zaida sighed, she knew that if the princess had her mind set on doing something, it would be done, the only thing she dreaded was the ginseng tea, last time she had drank it had been a nightmare.

Two pots of ginseng tea, a unholy quantity of work and a four hours of sleep later.

"It seems her highness was able to finish the work you had assigned her yesterday and the work of today......yesterday," The butler informed.

"Never expected anything less," Sovieshu wasn't shocked if his daughter had something set in mind she would do it in half of the time it would normally take.

*She clearly wants to speak with the Empress, not even a war could stop her,* Sovieshu thought amused.

*She would have very good advise for Rashta, perhaps I should make them meet,* He thought as he glanced out the window and was able to see his daughter walk towards the garden where Navier liked the most.

Later in the garden

"It's been a pleasure to talk with you your highness," The lady bowed.

"The pleasure is mine, have a good day," (F/N) quickly bid farewell as she resumed her search for her mother.

*I usually enjoy my chats with her but I've already lost enough time with my extra duties,* (F/N) looked around, wondering if her mother was still in the garden.

*If she is still here, she must be in her reading spot,* (F/N) concluded as she walked in that direction.

When she approached the spot she could hear some voices.

"Call me her Majesty the Empress," (F/N) recognized her mother's voice.

"Pardon?" A unknown voice answered.

"That should do it," (F/N) arrived at that moment and could see the girl his father had brought not so long ago and her mother.

*Why is she in the ground?* (F/N) questioned at the scene but then the the girl reached for her mother's dress.

"Oh....Wait--"

"YOU INSOLENT BRAT!" Laura slapped the girl's hand away from (F/N)'s mother.

"How dare you act so familiar?"

"You filthy wench!"

"Who are you calling a filthy wench?" (F/N)'s father came into view, he was escorted by two guards.

(F/N) stood silent as she saw the scene play, she remained is a slight shock at her father's action.

*What is he doing, Laura was doing what anyone would have done, that girl approached the Empress in such a disrespectful way,* (F/N) wanted to say something but....

*This is a discussion between them,* A child should not interfere between the Emperor's and Empress's discussion, no mather how ridiculous one side could be acting upon.

"It seems we're finished here then, you may take your leave," Sovieshu tone was final.

(F/N) could see the impotence on her mother's eyes, she hated it, she was about to follow her but her father called out.

"Stay here for a moment (F/N)," Her father said, leaving no room for discussion.

"What may I do for you Emperor?" (F/N) bowed her head respectfully.

"I want you to spend some time with Rashta,"

"*What!?* Pardon?"

"She has been quite lonely this days, your both of similar age and I believe you will get along," Sovieshu explained.

"Since you are already done with your duties for the day, now is the perfect moment for you to meet her,"

"Of course, but I had wished to spend the day with the Empress," (F/N) saw how her father's eyes where demanding unlike his words that had sounded gentle.

"You can see the Empress later," Sovieshu's voice was leaving it clear that (F/N) had no choice in the matter.

"*He really is going to take her as a mistress, but to let her disrespect my mother in such a way and later want me to take care of her,* Yes, lady Rashta, would you like to take a walk?" (F/N) asked with a small smile.

"You are so kind your highness, just like his Majesty," Rashta gave an bright smile in return.

*I should not hold a grudge against her for my father's actions, maybe she is someone enjoyable?* (F/N) questioned as she started to walk with her in another direction, away from the Emperor.
