I truly just cannot get Zerxus Ilerez off my mind. Oath of Redemption paladin who will throw away everything for the chance to redeem Satan, but doesn’t hesitate to smite “traitors” into the dust and says nothing when his best friend murders prisoners who have surrendered. Who saw his friends bleeding out and knew he could help them, but turned away and went to pull the Lord of the Hells into the world instead, not even out of pity but out of desire for “answers”. Who lives in a world of teleportation circles and still didn’t visit his traumatized young son for seven years. Who asked to have his memory wiped rather than live with the understanding of failure. Character of all fucking time.

Tragic heroes, and why the sons of Fëanor are the heroes of the Silm (ok, the Finwëans)
A few rambling thoughts on the respective merits of Doriath vs the Fëanorians/Finwëans, differences between LOTR and the Silm and different types of heroes.
We can all agree that LOTR is about small, ordinary people, who against all odds manage to defeat Evil thanks to their courage and moral qualities. LOTR’s universe is quite simple, morally wise : there are the good guys, who have their weaknesses but a lot of courage and an infallible moral compass, and the evil ones, who have no redeeming qualities, and in fact no human traits at all (Sauron is an Evil Eye ; he is served by faceless wraith, at times riding monsters, and is served by armies of non-human monsters). We are offered a very brief glimpse of a slightly more complicated picture morally, when we see the Easterlings (human, non-dead servants of evil, and we are made to wonder what motivates them to serve Sauron), but it’s only a parenthesis. The heroes have weaknesses of course, they are afraid, and it makes them great, but they are all morally upright, and right. They rarely, if ever, makes mistakes, and they are rarely, if ever, wrong (especially morally).
The Silm is another beast entirely. It’s not a story about plucky underdogs defeating Evil, it’s a mash-up of genres from creation myth to mythology to epic to, uh, magical ladies and their magical talking dog.
But I think that, overall, the Silm belongs to the tragic genre, and deals with tragic heroes (a Christian tragedy with a side of Fall, but I’m not going to get into that).
Tragic heroes typically have several characteristics : they are important people (royals, people in power) ; they make bad decisions, and suffer because of them, while not being morally evil ; they often make mistakes (and suffer) because of hybris (pride, arrogance). They have great potential, but make a mess of it. They have flaws, but are not evil.
We, as readers/audience, are meant to sympathise with them. “You’re only saying that because they’re hot”. Yes, duh. They are princes and kings and they’re hot and talented, and then they make bad decisions and they die. That’s the whole point of tragedy.
And I would argue that these characteristics apply to all of the main characters of the story.
They all, Morgoth included, have great potential. Yes, even the bad guy of the Silm is not the pure Evil of Sauron in LOTR, he had the potential to be the best, but…pride and bad choices. He ends up being unredeemably evil of course, but it’s gradual,  and it’s a Miltonian Satan we have here (Milton’s Paradise Lost’s Satan is often described as the “hero” of the poem, a tragic one, of course), not the faceless pure Evil of LOTR (plus, he gets chased by a giant spider and has a door flung into his face).
Fëanor is the greatest Elf ever; his sons start with amazing potential. Among the other Finwëans,  Fingolfin is the best at fighting, until he gets squished by Morgoth’s foot. Fingon is a true, galant hero, doing magical rescues and fighting dragons, until he gets slaughtered in battle and trampled under his foes. Finrod is “the wise”, who ends up fighting a werewolf to the death with his teeth after following an ill-devised plan to fulfil a silly oath he took (and he knew swearing an oath was a bad idea ! He told the Fëanorians ! He told Galadriel !).
They all make bad decisions, and mistakes, Valar included (oh dear, do they make mistakes ! And they know it !). Even the best of guys (according to the narration) made bad decisions : Thingol, Elwing and Dior all make the choice of hanging on to that damned Silmaril, with terrible consequences for them (Melian told them not to !). Obviously, Fëanor and his sons make the stupidest of oaths. Finwë gets remarried (Indis marries him). Turgon decides, for some reason, not to listen to Ulmo. Obviously, I could go on…
There are, of course, a few characters who do no wrong, but I would argue that they are very peripheral to the story :
There are, of course, the ones who suffer through no fault of their own at all : Elured and Elurin, the nameless people who get killed in Doriath and Sirion (wrong place, wrong time), the nameless, countless ones who are abducted/killed/tortured by Morgoth. But the Silm, like all tragedies, does not focus on these people (we’re only interested in Important People here, not the nameless victims of the decisions made by others).
Elured and Elurin are a pathetic touch, and tragic figures, but they are not the heroes of the story, just like Astyanax is not the hero of the Illiad (his parents and his killers are) or Oedipus’ dad is not the hero of Oedipus Rex. Or like, Desdemona is not the heroine of Othello (it’s Othello). I could go on (the princes in the Tower are not the heroes of Richard III !)
Galadriel is in the Silm like the characters that survive at the end of Hamlet : the only reason they are still there is because they didn’t do much, and do not matter very much to the story.
Eärendil is a a true, non-tragic hero, but it’s not his story.
The only characters that are given some limelight are the ones who get to make the decision that provokes their downfall. Some make bad decisions, but are not morally guilty of anything, and get rewarded by the narration. Elwing, for instance, gets enough screen time to flee from the Fëanorians in Doriath with the Silmaril, marry, have children, refuse to return the Silmaril, have her own personal tragedy episode II, then her almost-happily ever after because even though she made bad choices, she is not morally guilty of anything, and she can be rewarded by the story. Finrod gets reembodied quickly and reunited with his father (he’s only guilty of minor rebellion and is otherwise a great guy). Fingon took part in Alqualondë so I guess he’ll have to wait a bit more (but we don’t know, it’s all speculations).
Others are less lucky. The Fëanorians, obviously, not only made bad decisions but also committed atrocities, so no happy ending for them. Húrin and his children get awfully punished for transgressions not of their own will (murder, incest). They are, arguably, the most tragic of the lot.
The Tale of Beren and Lúthien is of course the antithesis of what I’ve just said, and I think that’s partly why it feels jarring for the non-fans. Tolkien knows it, who go like “and now, on a completely different tone amid all the tragedy and destruction…”
Lúthien makes no wrong choice, ever, does not make bad decisions (except for insisting on wearing a Silmaril that makes her die more quickly, but that’s an aside). She’s a magical lady with no flaws (note that she’s not really given human qualities : she’s not brave or clever in any realistic way, she’s got magic instead), Beren is a great guy with no flaws who follows her lead. They swoop in into Angband (Boromir would have been livid), confront superlative odds (evil dark lord of all bad creatures Sauron, Morgoth in his Satan stage, death and destiny to finish with) and win effortlessly. There are a few moustache twirling villains (Curufin and Celegorm, who stop being tragic heroes to become the bad guys in a historical novel), Lúthien’s dad is against the lovers being together, but we know that they’re going to win in the end. They have a magical talking dog.
I’m not criticising people who love Beren and Lúthien (I don’t, I belong to the Jane Austen school of “pictures of perfection make me sick and wicked), but it’s a bit like if the action suddenly stopped in Othello or Macbeth to have a brief interlude of A Winter’s Tale. Of course A Winter’s Tale is great, but we were in the middle of something else.
So, to finish with… The Silmarillion is all about tragic, flawed, tragic characters, who make bad choices (mostly out of pride) and are punished for them. So, of course, the Finwëans are like… poster boys for that.
I haven’t touched on the curse and fate elements there, but it’s another characteristic of Greek tragic heroes that they suffer as the result of a family curse, and Fate. In the Silm, both of these elements are present : there are references to fate, without much precision about the exact meaning of the word, and of course the Finwëans are under the effects of the Doom, and the Fëanorians of the Oath, without any of these two elements being explicitly defined and explained. We simply don’t know what the exact nature of each is (how magical, binding they are in particular). It’s another key element of tragedy, usually : the conflict between free will, the desire to do good, and the effect of a curse/fate, and to what extent the characters’ actions are informed/influenced by each of these elements.
I’ll just finish with the very obvious point that none of these people are real, and therefore nothing that they do “has to be”. Tolkien didn’t have to have the sons of Fëanor swear an oath (they could just murder because they think it’s expedient, or because they are bad) ; he could have shown us the sons of Fëanor attacking Doriath the minute they had a Silmaril, without negotiations ; he didn’t have to tell us that they sent a message to Elwing of “friendship yet of Stern Demand” ; he didn’t have to write about Maglor raising E&E, and he did not have to show us the last two sons of Fëanor, alone and having lost everything, driven to despair. He could have shown us the sons of Fëanor randomly attacking their neighbours out of greed, or cruelty. He could have written Elwing as a passive victim whose entire family was killed  without warning because her evil orc-like neighbours wanted to rob her of her family possessions (like, their OWN stuff)… But that’s not what he wrote.

Guys, some of the comments on that porn addiction ask sound like run of the mill fundies, but others sound like they just don't know what the concept actually is. People who push the porn addiction agenda and sell "therapy" for it aren't talking about a maladaptive coping mechanism, they're talking about an (imaginary) *addiction*.
The concept that pornography is dangerously addictive is rooted in other likes from straight, culturally Christian society; namely, that men are incapable of controlling their sexual urges, that women do not experience sexual pleasure (or at least not as much as men do), and that something pleasureable must have "redeeming qualities" or else it is inherently sinful ("sin" is rebranded as secular morality or as mental health when it escapes containment).
A lot of the rhetoric is sex shaming shit you might recognise in it's repackaged form when antis spout it.
It is also incredibly gender essentialist, and ignores the existence of both homosexuality and transgender identities. Except, of course, when someone wants to pathologize these identities as being caused by or being symptoms of porn addictions. You're not a trans woman, you're a straight cis man who was harmed by looking at pictures of naked people! If you just accept that you have an addiction, you can come to Jesus and turn back into a normal healthy man again!
"Porn addiction" is also a convenient lie for keeping sex education away from young people. If porn is inherently dangerous, and depictions of "alternative" sexuality are inherently pornographic, then of course you can't let a 16 year old know that gay sex exists! He'll get addicted and currupted by Satan and next thing you know your perfect Christian son is a faggot tranny freak!

how do you know for sure you won't end up in hell?
Hello! I saw your other message assuring me not to worry about responding because of the grieving process. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness—it truly means a lot. May God bless your sweet soul. 🩷
It’s comforting to know that, because of God’s promises in the Bible, there’s assurance that we won’t end up in Hell. Many verses speak of salvation and bring peace. Sometimes, due to severe trauma, trusting in that love and safety can be difficult, but it’s a journey to trust in what God has promised.
When doubt about salvation or God’s promises arises, the best remedy is prayer and spending time in the Word. Trusting God fully and consistently is one of the hardest parts of the Christian walk, and it’s a lifelong journey. If doubt about salvation occurs, please know that it’s a normal part of the walk and can be overcome.
This world is filled with evil, and Satan continuously works to shake that faith. We face attacks, criticism, and feelings of shame and unworthiness. Yet, the Bible reveals God’s character, and when we trust in what He has said, there is assurance of salvation.
I’ll share some Scripture that speaks to our salvation under the cut, so as not to flood anyone’s timeline. I hope this can be helpful, beloved!
Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
—Acts 16:30-31 (ESV)
More Scripture of salvation assurance below:
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
—1 John 5:13 (ESV)
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
—Romans 10:9-10 (ESV)
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
—Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
—John 3:16 (ESV)
For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. My heart faints within me!
—Job 19:25-27 (ESV)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
—1 John 1:9 (ESV)
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
—Proverbs 28:13 (ESV)
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
—John 5:24 (ESV)
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
—John 10:27-28 (ESV)
Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
—Romans 5:9-10 (ESV)
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
—Romans 8:16-17 (ESV)
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
—Romans 8:28-30 (ESV)
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
—2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV)
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
—Ephesians 1:13-14 (ESV)
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
—Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me.
—2 Timothy 1:12 (ESV)
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
—Titus 3:4-7 (ESV)
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
—Hebrews 7:25 (ESV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
—1 Peter 1:3-5 (ESV)
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
—1 John 3:1-3 (ESV)

FNAF Bible theory. In light of recent Dave theory. It's just from my surface knowledge of the bible (but I am from a christian home, I know a lot) and few wikipedia findings.
Scott is very well known for being a religious person. That's nothing new. And this theory will conclude with statement that ,,FNAF is just a retelling of the bible,, at least part of it. There will not be Jesus in this one. The closest one will be his cousin John.
Pls. Mind that english is not my first lauguage. Im good at using it, but I keep missing word. And i keep using languagetool. And few time I use term ,,standin for,, I'm not sure im using correct term. But hope you understand. So let's start with what we got now:
David - King of Israel, Battle with Goliath
Michael - Guardian of Israel, Battle with Satan
Elizabeth - Known for being a mother and having a baby (stick with me)
And few important names: Gabriel and Henry
When the name David came out lately, when Hyper Droid was talking about CC real name. It struck me. David in the bible is best known for battling the Goliath, and Slaying him, becoming King after that. And in the World of FNAF, CC also battled the Goliath, but this time Lost. Goliath being stand in for Fredbear, you know Giant Robot. We can argue that even if CC lost the rest still happened, Goliath was slain - Fredbear was never used again, and he kinda became the King - CC is probably the most important spirit in FNAF, and Golden Fredy is the Leader of Animatronics, Golden like a Kings Crown - And stay golden even after all the years, when Golden Bonnie faded, but that's later. Golden Freddy leads the Spirits even if it's not David (CC) it's Cassidy, but Cassidy is probably not a biblical name, but there might be something to it if we dig deeper.
Michael - The Archangel. The One that cast Satan out of Heaven. Yes Satan being stand in for William. ("...he does battle with Satan and casts him out of heaven so that he no longer has access to God as accuser" - Wikipedia quote). And mentioning. When David is the King of Israel. Micheal is the Guardian (prince) of Israel (If we take methafor for Israel in FNAF as the place where every spirit lingers, sooo Freadys. Yeah Freddy's is Israel, The Bible one, not the moder country, it's sounds weird now, but let's deal with it.) Then, idk whats better way to describe Mike. After his brother's death, he goes and protects what his brother has become part of, to redeem himself, to give his brother and every soul Afton killed an afterlife. But this Flipped retelling of Bible. As David failed to Defeat Goliath. Michael failed to Protect Souls. But after tries and punishment, he banishes the evil from immortality. Except there are no happy endings in FNAF.
Elizabeth is more difficult than two brothers, but. I might have something. As the fact that FNAF is Flipped retelling of bible more struck me, where nothing goes as it should, but parallels are visible. It got me there. Naming FNAF characters after biblical figures must have some reason. At least minimal. Let's start with this, and it might sound more weird than the rest, so at least trigger warning here. The Big Elizabeth in story in bible start with her husband going to a Temple and being visited by Angel Gabriel. And is promised Elizabeth will bear a son - John the Baptist. Kinda like Mike going to Circus Baby Pizza. Yes I compared Circus Baby Pizza to the Temple of God. But as we know, everything must go wrong. It might be parallels that Elizabeth, instead of bearing the child, got crushed in the belly of a child (baby) looking robot. (And you know, I think Elizabeth in bible is only known for being a mother of more important figure, and naming fnaf character after bible character might be difficult, and SL is kinda a spin-off, I don't know what Stott was thinking, I just see parallels) But as we now know, even if figures failed to fulfill their job, everything else still needs to happen. Destiny needs to fulfill itself. And have you ever noticed that Scooper rips out your guts, from the belly. And as spoken before, something needs to be born. And as Elizabeth would bere the child, now she crawls into someone's belly, as Baby put her self together. In flipped reflection of destiny. Michael goes to a temple, and is promised a Baby, it happened but in crocked refection, Elizabeth is born from her own Brother. But it's not Elizabeth that is the most important that day, because at the same moment, Michael is born again as the Baptist. To cleanse evil in the Baptism of Fire. And as weird as it gets, Mike being also the stand in for John the Baptist resonates well with me.
And that not the end, but I wanted to leave that on the end, because now we will talk about remnant, and remnants are still controversial in FNAF fandom. And I didn't want to taint my Elizabeth part with it. But You can add this to Elizabeth part, and it will only add more to the theory. Trust me. In the Bible when Elizabeth's husband visited the temple, angel said, and I quote "...and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born." Mention of being Filled with the Holy Spirit is something that just struck me the most. And I feared that it made sense. As we go further in FNAF games, (technically first ever mention of Remnant is in FNAF 6, but it's calling back to the Scooper) First ever usage of Remnant comes from FNAF SL. When Mike is being Filled with Remnant by the Scooper. As Biblical Child of Elizabeth was Filled with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit in bible is reserved for very special things. And if we going with naming FNAF characters after biblical names. Usage of Holy Spirit in the most important story connected to name Elizabeth and the Child she bore. As Scooper standin for filling someone with Remnant - Michael goes to a Temple of The False God that created the Baby and is Filled with The Remnants of Spirits. God!
Did I mention that It's not the end yet. It's not that big, but I want to point out what I see as interesting findings. And maybe we can do something more with this. I never readed bible, I just had religion in school, and I was kinda interested in that when I was younger. But I have really good memory, and this all just started coming to me.
When researching Michael, the name Gabriel keep coming out, It was interesting (like ohhh Scott, you know what you were doing) later when the name Gabriel came up in The Story of Elizabeth. There must be something more. First it was, did Scott name missing children after Archangels - No. But using just one name is enough. And as we all agree, Gabriel, being a child possessing Freddy. Scott used the name Gabriel on the first gravestone. Freddy the face of basic animatronics. Scott could name every kid after (as I found) - 7 archangels, but that would be too obvious, but he named only one, the first, the one we all agree is Freddy. Scott could give him a normal name, but he needed to name at least one after biblical name. And it's Gabriel. I have a weird feeling that, as Scott is a religious person, he just jumped on Wikipedia just like me, and found that Michael and Gabriel are very connected with each other. The fact that the name Gabriel comes out in 2 most important names in FNAF that also are standin for biblical characters. To this moment we got 2/3 names, but Mike and Elizabeth are kinda normal names, so we didn't care, but Now there are 3, we got David. All of William's children are named after biblical characters. With show how egotistical he is. But we got more; as we got Gabriel, it's now 4/3.
My smalled finding is that old version the name Henry is Harold. And it get me to Herod, the Guy that Order to Kill Children when Jesus was about to Born. But It sound more like William, You Know the Guy that KILL CHILDREN.
And Afton. The Guy Himself. Standin for Satan, Devil, Mephisto. The one cast out and banished from heaven. As Golden Freddy faded but stayed golden. Golden Bonny rotten, darken, faded to pitch green. Should be punished in hell, as destiny called for that. But not everything happened as it should. William is still punished, but what Cassidy the Vengeful Spirit done. Will it let go. Old Man Consequences is God Himself. The End (The last is just my own little head canon)
I went. Kinda insane at the end of this. But pls dont toss it out as a wird therory. Ther is a lot to this that make sense. And fell free to add more to this, if you can find more, or know more. My knowlege isnt that full. Retelings of the bible are very common. And no one ever get that angry when you use bibilical stories as the inspiraton. A lot of stories if you dig not even that deep, can be traced down to bibilacal stories. As its collection of very basic moral stories - Of good fighting evil. And thanks to Hyper Droid, his David theory opened the gate for.

Fallen Angel- Fyodor Dostoevsky x GN! Reader, PLATONIC!!
Writing this out of boredom, a oneshot about Fyodor finding Reader whos smart as hell and shares his Purist views. Reader is a fallen angel, similar to Lucifer. Rather than being sent to hell, Reader is forced to live eternity as a human amongst humans. Reader is immortal.
Genre: unclear
WARNING: Purist views, Cynicism, lots of religious concept, Anti-christ, Reader is manipulative, Fyodor and Reader are platonic, just two fucked up people.
You've heard of Lucifer, at least under his alias; Satan. How he was condemned to hell for going against heaven. How he was a fallen angel. On earth, sin happens every day, yet, those mortal beings are rarely condemned to hell, because of the crucifixion of christ. Humans are redeemable; an Anti-christ is not. An Anti-christ is comparable to Lucifer himself.
Demonic beings with red eyes walk your earth every day; under a human's skin. We all stem from sin, and it's your job to purity us. You, and you alone can save us all. Or, thats what you thought.
UntIl he came around.
359 years after being condemned to earth by god, you met a man. A man who had his hand over nearly everything. He was calm and collected, yet had the ability to kill with a touch. Ever since your halo broke and your wings turned black, you've spent every day using the touch of god to purify. The black, tattoo like mark engraved into your back in the form of closed wings are the only physical reminde that you committed the sin of wrath.
His hand clamped onto your forearm, a look of shock painting his features. He quickly regained calmness, aside from the fact he had somehow failed to kill you. He cleared his throat, his vice grip loosening. "Nullification?" Fyodor questioned, watching you lean your chin into your palm. You sigh, locking your eyes onto his intense gaze. "Fyodor, my dear friend, are you really that ignorant?" You asked, somewhat cryptically. "We cannot purify the mortals if you keep sinning like this!" You said, a demeaning glint shining in your eyes.
If you don't purify every sinner by death, God will never accept you back. You cannot recover from sin unless you get rid of sin altogether. "Remember Fedya, without me, you would have never made it this far. The fact is that you, Fyodor Dostoevsky could have never done it without me. So, before you consider killing me, keep that in mind." Fyodor watched you sit down, a smirk adorning your features. The need to erase sin and ability users was rising quickly. Earth is full of unpunished sinners, so obviously, you must eradicate them and purify this world.
"What are you?" His tone was balanced with caution, a glint of uncertainty shown deep within his eyes. "A Purist. A god. An angel. Whatever you deem me as." You answered, spinning a pen through your fingers mechanically. Fyodor nearly found himself hypnotized by it. "Lucifer was God's son, He was an angel. He was condemned to hell as a punishment for becoming an Anti-christ. Fallen angels and demons alike wander this world, motivated by sin and the emotions emitted by mortal beings. Tell me Fyodor. If I was an angel, pushed from heaven for being provoked into wrath, would you still help me purify the sinners?"
The question rang inside his head as he racked his brain for an answer. He had put 2 and 2 together moments ago. You are an angel with the wish to decimate sin. That could be useful. He thought for a moment, unknowingly falling into your trap like ants with honey. He came to a conclusion, one that will change the course of earth as we know it: "Of course."
Uhm- the hospital gave me pain meds before I left, and I was woozy and wrote this.

Stealing traits from Daeron and destroying Aegon's character completely, all of these things have made me dislike Aemond so much. Someone remind these writers that Aemond is not the only character in team green.
Hey, Nonnie.
I’m not gonna lie, I used to love Aemond but after reading the books it made jaded about his character. Aegon is fascinating and actually has a character arc in the books, he’s the only one that redeems himself IMO.
I wouldn’t mind Aemond’s characterisation if it wasn’t at the expense of Aegon’s, I was on Reddit and someone said that in the show Aegon isn’t a character he’s a problem that everyone has to deal with.
Alicent has to deal with the fact that Aegon hurt someone, Otto has to deal with the fact that Aegon isn’t interested in being King at all and Aemond (for some reason) has to deal with the fact that Aegon is “unworthy” (see what they’re doing?) of being the firstborn son.
Aegon was a great fighter because he also trained with Ser Criston, but only Aemond is allowed to have a fighting scene and be badass. Aegon has a mystical bond with Sunfyre, he actually fights for Aegon until the bitter end, but only Aemond is allowed to have scenes with his dragon.
Aegon would never bully his brother, especially with the Strong boys, whom ALL of them hated, but no, Aemond is the bullied meow meow, his brother is a meanie and has to bully the poor Aemond because Aegon is rotten, didn’t you know?
In the books, when Viserys asks where Aemond heard the bastards rumours you can infer that the brothers are close and that Aegon will always be there for him and he was. In the show, to the general audience it was only Aemond taking revenge for the bullying.
In the books, Aegon never took his brother anywhere but in the show, he takes Aemond to brothel for some reason and traumatised Aemond. Why? Because Aegon is rotten, he has no redeeming qualities and Aemond is the poor meow meow.
When Viserys is dead, Aemond was actually training and what the first thing he says to the Kingsguard?
“Is Aegon King?”
In the show? Apparently he’s the one that should be King because he reads and has Vhagar? Apparently Aegon never touched a sword, only Aemond.
Even his brother being the spawn of Satan, he still goes out to find him, isn’t Aemond just the best? He’s so dutiful and loyal. Even though he hates Aegon and wished that he was far away, and Aegon wanted that too. Or Aemond wanted Aegon dead, whatever works best for him and getting him close to the crown. Sorry, Aemond is amazing he would never covet what his brother has.
Because instead of getting only Ser Criston and Aegon, we got that pathetic scene of Aemond fighting Aegon in the middle of the street. Because Criston convinced Aegon by saying that his half-sister would be a threat to his family we also got Aemond looking for him, why was he there? He was so unnecessary in that scene, Criston and Aegon needed that scene. Criston needed to show his intelligence and Aegon needed to show the care and love he has for his family.
I really hate what they did with Aegon, and now? I don’t care about Aemond, I don’t care about his story or his character. I simply wished that they cut Aegon entirely, like they wanted to do with Daeron. Have the star of the green side by himself, but sorry, he’s only allowed to shine when Aegon is the villain of his story.
Sara Hess and Ryan Condal are a fucking joke, I hope that they’re never hired for anything ever again. Their writing is ridiculous, I just know that TGC will shine with whatever shit they write for him and then HBO will try to claim that it was because of them and their script. It won’t be, it’s purely TGC’s talent.

You know what, I've said it once, and I'll say it again.
Everything NFCV and Nocturne wishes it could be, was done SO much better in the Lords of Shadow Trilogy. These are in no linear order, I'm just writing them as I think of them.
Sad boy Dracula who gets redeemed and wife back? Dracul not only did it better, but wasn't the equivalent to a piece of wet tissue paper while he was depressed. No, he continued to try his best and sacrificed his humanity for humanity, which resulted in him growing enraged and betrayed by everyone who backstabbed him. He grew stronger, learned more skills with magic, and uses his own blood as a weapon. God also still loves him, and he has special privileges of being God's Champion.
Marie. She has more character than any of the women in any part of NFCV combined. And she's dead half the time! She encourages Gabriel to continue his mission. She helps him where she can along the way! And the only reason she lies to him about Trevor, is because she was trapped between a rock and a hard place! She wasn't given an option, and in the end, she chose to potentially let her son live. It wasn't an easy decision for her, and you can see it in her body language in MoF and the Castle portions of LoS2.
Speaking of Trevor, LoS Trevor is everything Tiddiecard wishes he could be. LoS Trevor is smart, but incredibly emotional, like his father. He wanted revenge, and failed, which resulted in him becoming Alucard, but also for his wife to lose her life, his son to be orphaned, and the village he lived in to be destroyed. By the way, he has a breakdown after he comes out of his tomb, and finds out he's been turned. But despite this, he still partners up with his son, who is now Thirty-seven (37). Also, Dracula buried Trevorcard in custom armor and a weapon, crafted solely for him.
Also, Trevor only got turned, because he was staked by Dracul, who used the VK against him. As in, Dracul disarmed Trevor and then staked Trevor with it. Dracul, once finding out that he just killed his son, tries to force blood in his mouth, to save him. Dracul thinks he failed, and has another on screen sob. It's unclear whether or not Dracul knew Alucard was going to awaken, considering that he knew his kin was to defeat him, thus being the theory behind the baby skull mountain.
Also, did I mention that Dracul is an unhinged bastard in MoF? There's two ways you can interpret the baby skull mountain. One, the in game theory of Dracul impregnating women and killing the babies. Two, Dracul kidnapping babies, maybe lost in a delusion that he can bring the son he didn't get to know back. Personally, I think it could be the latter, however, those are just theories, and it's never explicitly stated in any of the main campaigns. (I'm not counting the DLC on this, because I have not read the notes in any of the DLC.)
You root for Dracul in LoS2. You watch his downfall from Gabriel to Dracul, from Angel to Demon. His redemption arc was deserved, and he fought for redemption. He killed his inner darkness for his family! He defeated Satan, a second time, to protect Humanity! He's still God's Champion! Not only did he work to earn his family's and God's forgiveness, he forgives himself!
Gabriel loves Marie. He adores her. He also loves Trevorcard. It's so blatantly obvious when he interacts with them in LoS2.
Fucking, Carmilla. She was a founder of the Brotherhood of Light! She was kickass, while being described as a kind soul when she was human! In LoS1, her Lord of Shadow form is monstrous. She doesn't need a cocktail gown nor anime hair. She is simply shrouded in a black gown, that if MercurySteam could've gotten away with her being nude, they would've. But it works, because Lords of Shadow are the unholy counterparts that couldn't go to heaven with their holy counterparts. But back to her monstrous form, she is kickass in this form. She doesn't need to be fancy, because why would she? Carmilla has an entire army of vampires, that also consist of Demons who were turned! Plus, she doesn't die from being staked, she dies because Gabriel was just strong enough to keep her in place long enough for the sun to fry her.
Death. Simply put, it's hard to surpass Patrick Stewart voiced, asshole Death, who is incredibly powerful in his own right, though not physically. Zobek plays a manipulating ally so well, I didn't think hard about his weird dialogue until he revealed himself as Death!!
Laura. Oh, poor Laura. She is an incredibly sympathetic vampire, because she was a child kidnapped and turned by Carmilla. She was still threatening, almost killing Gabriel before a cutscene happens, and she watches Marie come down and comfort Gabriel. There, she states that she's jealous of them, before saying that she doesn't want to play anymore. She calls to Gabriel in the DLC, because she knows she can't fight the Forgotten One by herself! Laura is a scared child, and is doing what she can to help! Her sacrifice of giving her blood to Gabriel to turn him SAVED HUMANITY.
Also, it has wonderful commentary, of you actually pay attention to the lore! Such as, it's take on religion is basically, Religion itself isn't bad, but it's the people in power of said religion who are the problem. It encourages questioning, because God is forgiving and loving, and will always welcome you back if you need to step away. The Acolytes in LoS2 are modeled and influenced by Western Politics. It's especially noticeable with Nergal Meslamstea, the second Acolyte, who, and I quote, "Gave people the rights to bare arms" thus making the robotic Police force that turns on civilians. I wonder who that's based off of. Raisa Volkova does Biased science and human experimentation, being the one who starts and spreads the virus that turns people into demons. Guido Szandor, who is based around cult leaders.
That's it for now. It's almost 12 AM for me, and I'm tired. I'll add when I think of more. Also, this kinda went on a tangent, so I apologize, I just have a lot of emotions.

Damien Morningstar ;; The Antichrist
Tumblr media
Damien Morningstar is the son of Lucifer and Lilith.
Originally conceived to be direct opposition to Jesus Christ, he is central to the struggle between God and Satan for the fate of mankind. He was Lucifer's pride and joy, created from Hell for Hell.
Damien - Trained and bred to oppose Heaven's Golden Child - was to forge Hell on Earth under the guise of peaceful promises, acting as Satan's chief agent. Silver-tongued and manipulative, he claimed to be acting on behalf of Heaven whilst sowing discord and hatred across the world.
His role remained unfulfilled, however, with Jesus exposing him as an imposter and casting him back to Hell.
Now he waits, a disappointment to his father, and desperate for the chance to redeem himself.
