Good fucking soup Nexus seeing that Earth still cares about him enough to respect his privacy regarding their sessions, going quiet before trying his best to relate to her and comparing their situations. Yeah you messed up still Earth, but he sees now that she could have done everything right and nothing would have changed because the rest of the family is still a problem, they would drop you just like they did to Nexus so why don't you join him? Nexus clearly still cares and is desperate to have some family back with how he jumped on that opportunity, that little bit of hope that she cares about him, for Earth to join his side.

And god Earth saying she never actually disowned Nexus but felt like he disowned her? Yet here Nexus is calling her sister still and wanting to check up on her and Lunar? It's just like my Nexus AU the fucking miscommunication and misunderstanding where they each thought the other stopped caring first thus pretended they didn't either when they very much do. But it's too late to fix things with a single conversation and heart to heart.

MY THOUGHTS ARE THAT I'M SO HAPPYYYYYYY

Besides the fact that I am just insane for any and all Eclipse n Lunar interactions, everything that they talked about today was HUGE!!!!! Lunar took Eclipse's taunts and insults in stride, understood Eclipse, apologized for blowing him up, AND got him to talk about some of his fun hypocritical thought process!! THAT'S SO COOL!!!!!!

I won't lie I genuinely didn't process how big of a deal some of these were (like Lunar saying they betrayed Eclipse's trust) because its just something I've been so accustomed to for months already so they didn't even strike me as significant the first time around BUT I READ A FEW OTHER PPLS THOUGHTS AND I GET IT NOW GEJAGAJAHS

Lunar standing up to Eclipse like this is just, AUGH. So good. If you told Lunar in the first few months of their existence that they would ever get to this point I don't think they'd believe it.

Eclipse as a whole too,,, what is WRONG with him(/aff). From the fact that he doesn't have all of his memories anymore to his whole "I'm a clone and a copy of the original but I'm still better than everyone" thing to his little plan he's working on in secret, he is just so intriguing. ALSO???? HIS HIS OMG HIS LINE ABOUT HOW HE WAS PROUD WHEN LUNAR ELECTROCUTED HIM BECAUSE THEY "FINALLY GOT IT" WAS SO. AUAUAGHAGAHAHHAAAAAA I'M GOING INSANE. In order to convert more of you to my Chuuya Solar Eclipse Dazai Lunar Eclipse agenda, I have decided to simplify the essay in my mind about it and give you my reasonings 😎

1. First and foremost, in many beliefs, both Solar and Lunar Eclipses have been seen as negative omens or something to fear. Whether representing godly wrath like some interpreted Solar Eclipses to be, the various interpretations of the sun or a figure representing the sun being attacked or eaten during a Solar Eclipse or the various interpretations where a similar interpretation of some kind of creature or animal attacking the Moon hence the blood red color of it. So both the Solar Eclipse and the Lunar Eclipse (or the Blood Moon) have been greatly feared and markers of impending tragedy or calamity of some kind. May I remind you all the sheer amount to which Soukoku are feared as a duo? And how formidable they are? It only stands to make sense that two astronomical phenomenons so feared could represent the two of them.

Even more interesting is the distinction between how Solar and Lunar eclipses are seen as being bad omens, with the Solar Eclipse falling in line more with wrath or godly anger sometimes towards other gods sometimes interpreted towards the people themselves while the Lunar Eclipse is more associated with a more sinister yet less fiery intent behind it and what it represents. The different ways in which they are interpreted definitely serve to match Skk fairly well I think.

2. Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse fits the intensity of Chuuya and Dazai more than comparing them to Sun and Moon ever could. Now given that these eclipses are semi-rare phenomenons, often they are seen as very impactful events whether catching the eyes of people now and building excitement at their arrival, the aforementioned fear surrounding when they’d come around, or the meanings they carry in astrology. They are seen as major times of transformation and change, the ending of eras and the beginning of new ones. This intensity serves Skk as a dynamic so well, much better than Sun and Moon especially with the Sun in dynamics described with it having a more optimistic tint to it that doesn’t really fit either one of them. Even the Moon as represented commonly in the way people describe those kinds of dynamics has a soft spoken(-ish)ness to it that once again, doesn’t really fit either of them.

3. Speaking of the meaning of eclipses in astrology, as I said, Eclipses are viewed as times of transformations and they can bring news of big life events event. It’s a major turning point in some way or another. When it comes to the difference between the kinds of turning points signified by Solar Eclipses vs Lunar Eclipses, we are brought to the difference between something beginning or some ending. Generally, Solar Eclipses are viewed as tending to bring new opportunities and marking new beginnings. Though usually positive in this aspect, a person’s chart will determine if the eclipse is something completely friendly or not. Solar eclipses can also signify relinquishing certain behaviors that stand in the way of ambitions or that contribute to a fear of being powerless and vulnerable. Overall, Solar Eclipses are meant to bring a fresh start and new chapter. If the Solar Eclipse represents the beginning, then the Lunar Eclipse is a marker of the ending. They can represent the climax of cycles (especially emotionally related ones) that have run their course or generally final endings to periods in our life rather than signifying new ones. Given the function of the moon in astrology, Lunar Eclipses tend to be rather emotionally charged.

From here, it feels like there are aspects of the Solar Eclipse where Chuuya can be seen as fitting rather well given the spark of something new and the relation that it has with fear of powerlessness and vulnerability while the Lunar Eclipse works rather fitting with Dazai as it serves a much more as a closing and ending to bring forth moving forward and the sentimental, emotional nature behind it in a way that’s more subdued in nature than its counterpart.

4. There is a similarity in the Eclipses that match them far better than the differences between the Sun and Moon could. Because fundamentally, Soukoku are very similar at their cores when you actually inspect their characters. Though they project outer images into the world of themselves that seem so different they clash and they hold differences in their ideals, they are in fact similar when you peak deep enough. Two sides of the same coin you could say. Or perhaps, two different kinds of the same astronomical event ;D

Hence, that is why both of them being eclipses, just different kinds, feels more in line with them and their dynamic than the stark clear differences between Sun and Moon.

5. If I may add more onto my points, there is something in the way Solar Eclipses are described as beautiful occurrences and yet you cannot stare straight at their beauty lest you risk permanently damaging your eyes, that feels very Chuuya. Something about it feels very much like him, and it feels equally like Dazai to imagine him as a person risking the damage, not caring about all the warnings just to see Chuuya in his true splendor. That feels very much like them.

This is like a bit of a messy ranting post so my apologies for that, but its worth it if I can convince more people to join my bandwagon of Solar Eclipse Chuuya and Lunar Eclipse Dazai >:D

FALLOUT! Earth

yes, I'm on an art binge. Why, you ask?

Bio: Earth loves her life granted yes, it has its issues whose life doesn't but she does wish she could make some changes. The main being people would take her more seriously. Everyone seems to think Earth can't handle things herself. They either think she's a damsel in distress or can't protect herself, which isn't true, right?

Earth began to wonder what if they're right, what if I can't handle things myself, I mean, I know I can, but what if they're right?

Well, Earth would get the chance to prove her metal when one day the bombs started dropping, Earth and her family were rushed to a vault courtesy of their new bosses Vault-tec. Earth could hear the rumblings and feel the vibrations as the bombs fell. Earth won't lie she was beyond scared but who wasn't that day?

After the bombs stopped dropping, they all began to get adapt to their new lives in the Vault,Earth was there to ease everyone's concerns. Basically, she became the Vault therapist. (Not fun, by the way) While she eased others' concerns, her family eased her's. One day, Moon suggested that all the animatronics in the Vault should power down temporarily just until it's safe for them to go home. Earth joined her friends and family in their 198 year nap.

After waking up stiffer than a board, she and her family walked out of the vault and saw what the world was like now. It was enough to make anyone shed a tear. The world was wrecked, but her sadness was replaced with joy and inspiration when she saw entire towns and people working together to survive. With a renewed sense of hope, Earth and her family made a place for themselves in the post-apocalyptic world, and it was a wonderful... while it lasted. Moon discovered that the Ruin virus had somehow made it to their dimension and was now causing all robots to go haywire and become violent. Earth joined Moon's team to hunt down and destroy the virus much to Moon and a few others shagrin. Earth wanted to help everyone in this new post-apocalyptic world and wanted to prove to her family and friends that she could handle things herself.

After many explorations and long travels, they came across a group of Robot-loving protectors named The RailRoad. Earth thought their mission was quite inspiring but did dislike the fact they chose to stay hidden instead of shouting from the rooftops for every synth to hear, so they would know someone is out there protecting them and trying to save them but she understood why they stayed hidden, the RailRoad had many enemies who wished harm on them and the robots they protected. Earth gladly aided the RailRoad in many missions to rescue synths and met many friends on those missions like the religious yet fully willing to throw down Joshua Graham and her-totally-not- the-father-she-wishs-she-had synth detective Nick Valentine, Earth on these missions proved to everyone and herself she could indeed handle herself. Though she prefers to deescalate situations before things turn violent, she has been proven to be able to handle herself in a fight, preferring to use her fists and melee weapons instead of guns because she can chose to leave her foes alive and just knock them out instead of putting them six feet under. Just cause Earth knows how to throw down doesn't mean she forgot how to relax. On one mission for The Rail Road, they came across a town full of synths led by their leader Dima, Dima became friends with all of them and even gave them a place to live in Acadia. Earth definitely added a dash of color to Acadia, and it became like a second home to her... well, third home, her second home was a little town they found when the RailRoad sent them to the Captial wasteland to rescue a synth somewhere out there. A town ran by kids! Little lamplight Gregory and Cassie instantly fell in love with the place a town run by kids for kids, Earth at first was kinda horrified. A TOWN FULL OF KIDS WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS?! Earth decided to help out around the town become the sort of town mom, eventually the town grow on her and the kids became almost like her own children so, every now and then they all take a trip out to the capital so, Earth can be a mother to an entire town.

Earth's life is going pretty well in the wasteland despite the many sacrifices she had to make and losing an eye to some mercenary. She's doing pretty well for herself, and she and everyone else now believe she's proven her metal!
