For the record I'm not dead, but the holidays kicked my ass at both jobs harder than I anticipated and I've been horrendously sick off and on again. What little free time I have had has been put towards group collaborations related to d&d projects.

Also we had to put my dog down in the middle of it all so like... yeh. That hurt. Sorry it's taking longer than I wanted for the next chapter. Ya'll are always very understanding, it just gets frustrating sometimes not having enough energy/time/motivation to work on everything I want to.

I like her a lot bc she just like me fr fr (we even look very similar), and her -literal- inability to voice her feelings is at times painfully relatable to me, a chronic tongue-swallower.

I had a really strong visual of one of her outfits, and went into a fugue state trying to put it to paper.

Well, thank you! Because the idea got me rotating it like crazy and made me like that idea better almost because of all the extra emotions it would bring both Roy and Jamie but especially Roy wondering why Jamie would do that for him and Roy finding out how much Jamie looked up to him for real and also, just maybe, Jamie actually is a good person under all that bravado.

I have not written much for either versions but here is a little snippet:

Roy suddenly realised he was alone with Georgie. Looking at the woman he felt his guilt was going to eat him alive. How could he be here while her son was in surgery? How could he be sitting here without a scratch while Jamie was being put back together like humpty fucking dumpty and Roy was the reason why?

Chapter 32 is up!!! We are FINALLY at the Goblin Tunnels.

Wanted to have the chapter up sooner, but naturally work has been taking it out of me and my time is limited.

Regardless! I really hope it lives up to expectations. Tbh I had to cut a few ideas that were muddling up the chapter and making it drag, though they were ideas I really liked. Idk idk, I'm still happy with how it turned out. It could have been better but I say that about every chapter lol

Time to finish up the next one!
