Wind waker is my first Zelda game so it’s so dear in my heart. My WiiU came with it so it has the Zelda decals on it and I love it to bits

I remember it being mentioned before

But Hylia is a warrior Goddess. She had a SWORD for crying out loud. And honestly the Zelda’s that get the closest to their godhood are the ones who are forced into the battlefield.

Ocarina of time Zelda, it’s implied Tetra did in Spirit tracks to found new Hyrule, Spirit tracks Zelda (Tetras granddaughter), twilight princess Zelda, Botw totk Zelda, and soon echos of wisdom Zelda (I’m guessing she’s also link to the past Zelda judging from version of Hyrule and Link. That boy screams the legendary hero)

And the obvious one being skyward sword, it’s her whole story becoming closer to her godhood. She is the first in the reincarnation line. Honestly I think Skyward sword Zelda had more potential. Give that girl a sword or bow and arrow, Zelda is known for being able to fight for herself if she isn’t literally tied down or magically knocked out. I suppose she kinda was tied down wasn’t she? By the duties forced upon her as the first reincarnation of the goddess and the prophecy of the demise

They’re the reincarnation of a warrior goddess of light and possibly time, it’s no wonder that the secret to the awakening of their powers is the protection of their kingdom and loved ones. It’s possible that some versions of Zelda’s we never will get to see don’t fully awaken their powers if they don’t experience a huge conflict.

Which is good. Because that means there is peace and safety. A Zelda with fully awoken powers means a stressed and endangered Zelda, who knows what her link is going through.

A Zelda with fully awoken powers is a stress response to outside factors. Like a puffer fish, or those lizards that squirt blood from blood from their eyes.

Malon and Sailor designs!!! Some notes and extra doodles under the cut :]

OUKAY I don't haveeee too much on Malon and Wind this time, unfortunately. I'm in the process of watching a Wind Waker playthrough right now but it's still pretty early on, and I didn't change too much about Malon.

For Malon I like the theory that she's part Gerudo, and I was already going to make her a little more tan, but that cemented the idea in my brain. She doesn't join the group FOREVER, at least like. Not 100%. I'm thinking she comes and goes depending on what's going on. Like, sometimes she stays back at the farm, other times she joins them on their escapades. She learns how to do archery from Champion (hero of Wilds) methinks!!!!

With Wind I haveee even less notes. I think he would ditch the hero suit as fast as possible when given the chance, though lmao. I also wanted to lean into the pirate look. I loove when wind looks almost comically like a pirate. I'm not sure what would have caused his peg leg, yet, but if asked he either comes up with an insane story, or starts rambling about rope safety while sailing (he's SICK AND TIEED of tripping on ropes from new sailors LEAVING THEM AROUND. Someone could get CAUGHT in those and GET HURT!) Despite Sailor hating his hero suit, I really wanted to have SOME green on him to help vosually tie in his connection as a Link!!!

I haven't played Wind Waker yet but from what I know Wind is a such a fucking badass

He wasn't meant to be a hero, he started his journey because his sister was kidnapped.

Traveled the world by boat mostly alone

He doesn't have the Hero's Spirit of Courage yet he defeated Ganon (by STABBING HIM IN THE FACE)

He really was like:

"Oh you don't want me to be a Hero? Well fuck you too" *assembles the fucking Triforce himself*
