Something about using sites like ao3 that aren’t ruled by algorithms is so refreshing. You aren’t forced to use an account or give any of your information to simply browse the site. There’s no fast-paced content being shoved down your throat. No group of people with a large following dominate what is seen; small creators can just as easily get their works out there.

i hate the industrial revolution and what its done to the society. it made people slaves to their jobs which they cant stand. not everyone is suitable for a 9-5 but they have to do it anyway because thats the only way they can get money to survive somehow in this world. you have to abandon everything you once loved because your job doesnt give you time or space or resources to fulfill your dreams.

i dont want to sit in front of a computer for 8 hours straight just to come back to my ugly lonely apartment and sit in front of a computer some more. and i get a WHOLE TWENTY SIX DAYS IN A YEAR to rest and do something i actually enjoy. i want to travel and see the world, not work a boring steady job for the next 40 years of my pathetic life.

and society tells you its supposed to be like that, sacrificing most of your life for work and then you should be happy that you get a liiiiittle bit of vacation. you feel miserable and tired for most of the year, but its all so fucking worth it because you can taste happiness for a couple days!

i hate it all. i dont want a fucking job.
