My uncle really does think I'm descended from Duke Rollo on my mother's side. I have even been to the tomb of his descendant William the Conqueror in Rouen.

Why is this relevant to Lupin III? Because in 'The Hollow Needle', Arsène Lupin's hideout was also Rollo's secret refuge.

Grimm is finished and in his new home! I already kind of miss having him on my desk actually, but I'll be making the sibling trio for myself soon enough hahah

He's got a little bit of Garnet Angelina in his torso for added sparkle that I REALLY wish showed up better in photographs. He has a wire stand to keep him upright because there's no way you're getting a 10-inch tall bug on little needle legs to stand up on his own. I'm pretty please with him, I could maybe even be coerced into making another someday

I just realized I can (and should) be writing actual Reviews as i make my way through the Arsène Lupin works, lol.

To start: Hollow Needle is incredibly funny and very sad. i need a miniseries, stat.

For movies, "The Adventures of Arsène Lupin" was not bad, but the plot was kinda all over the place.

Would have worked better if they connected the different scenes a bit more, perhaps linking them over just the course of a few days, as a "Slice of Life", " Just another day in the life of Arsène Lupin" kinda way. As it is, without that ..... Framing? The different events just feel very disjointed, as if they belong in seperate movies altogether.

It would have been very funny for the film to start on Monday, and have an event going on each day to finally end on Sunday night as he 'rides into the sunset', so-to-speak.
