Pokémon black 2 and white 2 really just droped the hardest Pokémon trainer design of all times and never brought her back aside from Pokémon Master 😔

Like come on go ahead and tell me Roxie isn't just the coolest thing you have ever seen in your short life, I DARE YOU.

Oh yeah AND PLEASE STOP FUCKING SAYING SHE'S A GUITARIST, SHE'S NOT, that's a bass guitare :) Bass being my favorite instrument, so I will not let it slide. (Not insulting yall don't worry it's good if you didn't know 🔥)

I mean yeah Generation 5 introduced a lot of cool charachters like N and my baby Iris (best Pokémon champion ever btw she's too cute) but none top Roxie for me, she's by far my favorite charachter from those games, and 2nd favorite Pokémon charachter (for now) overall only beaten by Wally.

Also her ace is Scolapede... And I have an unleathy amounth of love for this bug so this only makes her cooler, AND HER BASS IS ALMOST SHAPED LIKE A SCOLAPEDE WHICH BONUS POINTS. ✨

Also I know the Black and White anime is TRASH, BUT ROXIE'S EPISODE GOES HARD, with only 3 pokémons and a type disadvantage (I think? I haven't rewatched the episode in a long time) she knocked five out of Ash's six pokémon... And that final pokémon is Pikachu, so let's face it, the only reason bro survived was plot amror.

Also when she was performing lil' riffs on her Bass in the middle of the fight, I just ₍⁠₍⁠ ⁠◝⁠(⁠　ﾟ⁠∀⁠ ﾟ⁠ ⁠)⁠◟⁠ ⁠⁾⁠⁾

I fucking love this pissed lil rebelious bitch so much, peak charachter.

I'm yet to see her in the Adventure Manga, but she seems to be just as good as she is in the anime and games, I expect her to have just a taaaad bit more to her charachter in the there, as the Manga really likes fleshing charachters out even more than they are.

And cherry on top? HER OUTFIT AND PARTNER POKÉMON IN MASTERS EX.

TOXTRICITY MY FAVORITE GENERATION 8 POKÉMON... The outfit too... AAARGH EVERYTHING, IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE, AND HER BASS LOOKS LIKE A TOXTRICITY NOW EUJDUF

She also is, to this day, the only voice acted charachter in the mainline Pokémon games, yeah, she just spells P-o-k-é-m-o-n... Idk I just find it really cute and cool asf. (Video by PLDHnetLite)

Her gym looks cool asf too.

And finally, her theme song in Masters EX slaps way too fucking hard.

Well the fire makes me think of Ace and the beetle makes me think of Luffy's love of beetles

It would be funny if I just made an au where Ace can talk to bugs--

Or I could go the boring route of Luffy being older than Ace

Or since it's 2 emojis and Ace and Sabo are kinda a duo (Luffy made them a trio later but still--) so,,, Sabo eats a devilfruit that let's him control insects? He is a little neat but he's neat in a steam punk way so I think he could reasonably be covered in bugs.

For that to change much he would probably have had to eat the devilfruit when he was young, and if we're following the theme of the brothers eating their devilfruit not knowing and just being hungry then maybe Sabo found it shortly after he ran away back when he was struggling to feed himself? Then he ate the devilfruit and bugs started talking to him - kinda. Bugs have a weird way of talking, Sabo can understand what they're saying but he can't quote it or really explain what he's hearing other than that it's the bugs. The bugs lead him to food and he starts being a very attentive forest gremlin more than a trash heap gremlin. Then he meets Ace and Ace asks him if he ever tried to tell the bugs what to do. Sabo hadn't, because that would be rude, but he wasn't noble anymore so he supposed he should be a little rude.

He told the insects around them and under the earth to come to him, and soon enough neat little rows of ants and beetles and earwigs and moths and worms started gathering at his feet.

Ace thought it was the coolest thing ever, Sabo felt more powerful than he ever had. He remembered how his father and mother had both bristled and left in the middle of dinner because a spider had appeared in their windowsill. Now he could control one of the things they feared. Now he was one with all the filth they hated. Now he was sure he could never be their son.

Then Sabo met Luffy, another monster like him, and if Ace didn't speak of him as less than dirt then maybe Sabo would have asked Luffy if he was really rubber down to the bones, if he could hear things other people couldn't, if he was a monster for a reason.
