How to cut down on netflix and start reading again? I feel as we live in modern age that it is getting harder and harder to stay away from social media and to do something that will actually help us become better and more educated in the foreseeable future. I find it so hard especially now with everything that is happening around us to shut my brain off just for a little while and do something like enjoy a good book. All the problems just keep popping back in my head. It is so much easier to scroll through likes of Instagram,Facebook or Twitter or even watch a tv show without any actual plot than read a good quality book. I do wonder sometimes why is that and why are our brains made that way. Why can we always focus on the bad but never on the good?

So excited about starlings! The setting, the mythology, the characters, the F/M romance you likened to tomione. It all sounds so promising. Also, about traditonal publishing, you consider yourself devoid of some literary skills to pursue that? .. well in that case, i gotta tell you. You are above and beyond compatible, and would appear to be so even on the first day of stumbling upon your writings from a publisher’s POV if you got yourself a good beta. That’s just me, and hundreds of your fans

idk about the critics impacting the award season. the audience still loves the show. social media is abuzz with elation, with a side of some legitimate constructive criticism, but it's not like audiences at large are calling out for cancellation. the opposition sounds like those incels hating on fury road or birds of prey, except instead of hating on the female presence itself, they be hating the gay presence. with audiences and critics this split, who knows which bandwagon the academy joins.

lol definitely no extremes for calling for cancellation! i know a few critics have said the show has run it’s course- but pretty much every show gets that critique at some point and ke is way more susceptible because you know... it got abandoned by a once in a lifetime writer... so .. the inevitable dip in quality are just all too obvious

im really only seeing noms for jodie- and maybe fiona this season, im not sure the show has the energy behind it any more to push it for a show or writing nomination. but you never know!

not me being a hater but the morning show, the crown, ozark, succession, westworld are frontrunners with haindmaides tale, pose, homeland + others being major threats - competition is STACKED for a season that was lukewarm received by critics .

maybe the emmys will say Gay Rights! tho . i like when they play a little montage at the emmys with all the show clips and killing eve sticks out like a sore thumb “woahhh something feminine and gay is def happening on that showww!! this is not men in suits Discussing Things”
