Okay so in the runway job Sophie and Tara have this exchange:

Sophie: Parker showed emotion?

Tara: An emotion. Might have been human.

And it makes total sense, Tara is still very new to the team and Parker's still wary around her and isn't as open as she is with the others, and Sophie seems genuinely surprised that Parker showed even that small amount of emotion to Tara. And in The Maltese Falcon Job, Sophie is genuinely surprised that Parker hugs her.

But then compare that to The Future Job and Parker full on crying and Tara is the one who's there, not Sophie.

Sophie didn't get to be there for Parker when she was crying even if Parker is open to her and Parker was forced into a vulnerable position with someone she wasn't as comfortable with in Tara and Tara didn't fully understand how horrible it was for Parker and that her deepest trauma with the only family member she loved was poked at and torn out on live television for entertainment

When parker says she wants to kill Dalton Rand, she's looking to Nate. She's asking Nate if they can kill him. Eliot volunteers to kill him. Parker turns to look at Eliot when he starts to speak. Eliot "I don't kill people anymore" Spencer volunteers to kill Rand of his own volition. Parker isn't even asking him, looking to him. He just cares so much about Parker being hurt that he volunteers to do something that hurts himself without being promted or asked personally. This is just something that means so much to me. This is only season 2 but the strong connections are already there

Really wish we could see Hardison’s face in “The Future Job” when Eliot says he could kill the psychic for Parker. The scene after that shows them only shows Hardison’s head tilted towards him but he’s looking at Nate. But I feel like Hardison would immediately be giving him an “I’m all in look”.

Is probably my favorite two lines of the boys wanting to protect Parker. She was hurt and in pain- and they wanted to make her feel better. The boy's at this point probably have learned some of her history. But they know her well enough to know she's not allowed to get hurt.
