Amos Burton on The Expanse: (Disclaimer I’ve have listened through Book 6 and watched the series, but I have not read any further at this point 5/29/2023. I’ve also read no commentaries or podcasts about the character.) From reading “The Churn” and reading Book 5/Season 5, I know Amos grew up rough and the trauma he endured shaped him. Whether his character is shaped by having to cut off emotions to survive, PTSD, a flavor of Autism, or something else. Or two or more or all of those things combined shaped Amos I don’t know. But he is one of the most endearing characters in the series. Each of our main cast of characters have some trait or more than one that help us identify with them and shape them as outsiders to the universe. 

Amos is ready to fight, ready to do what is needed, ready to drink and enjoy the pleasures available to him.  But while he could be shaped as a wild west outlaw that is not who he is. Those things sit on the exterior, but under it all lies the resolution of loyalty and respect. We see it in his attachment to Naomi at first. But we see the other members of the crew slowly earn it through out the series. Woe to anyone who comes at the people he has called family! I’m not going to go into his relationship with all of the main crew. But want to focus on some who come in along the way. We see him adopt people through out the series. Some people wards under his protection, some as friends, some as siblings, and some as something more. I’ve put a few photos above showing him and them. But not all. Prax is someone he adopts to protect him and help him, but he quickly becomes a friend. Amos has all the power in the relationship, but Prax shows him respect, drive for family, and loyalty. Amos learns from Prax and grows because of it.

Reverend Anna is both idealistic and realistic. Her faith is strange to Amos. He again seeks to protect her and help her. She shows him what the balance of idealism and realism looks like and how faith comes in.

Bobbie and Amos have a strange relationship. They are equals in so many ways. Her strength and drive earn his respect. He admires her and would lay his life down for her. It is almost like a twin relationship, but with a very non-family sexual tension there. But sex and romance are not exactly tied together for Amos, again because of his upbringing. I think he could see himself with Bobbie sexually and it would not change his relationship with her. But I think he sees that that it might not be the same for her.

Lastly up is Peaches. Here is a woman who was driven to end the life of Amos’s brother Holden. So she is set against his crew family. Yet she redeems herself. Something about her intrigues Amos. She has strength and drive he appreciates. Yet I think it is her emotions and depth that pull him in the most. Enough that he goes and visits her and ends up rescuing her. I think he has grown and changed through the series. I could really see the two of them in a relationship that extended beyond found family and physicality. It would look very different from the traditional. But that is not who Amos is, even with all his growth.  So even with a couple of books/comics left to read, I think we will see Amos as a part of his crew family, but not in a relationship at the end. That makes me a bit sad, but feels true to his character. But no matter how it goes I’m excited to see where it takes this crew that I love so much. I’ve decided to read the comic story before listening to book 7 through the end. So I’ll have to wait a bit. But I’m fine with that. My Pi Day hot take is that too many people (including myself in middle school) memorize the decimal expansion of pi and not enough people memorize the equivalent continued fraction expansion. In fact, if all you have the time for is to memorize the first four numbers of a sequence for some reason, continued fractions can actually give a higher degree of accuracy with a 4th convergent of 3.14159292..., which is accurate to the first six decimal places — as opposed to the binary expansion's paltry 3.141... with the same number of integers memorized!

After that, the accuracy of continued fractions method roughly keeps pace up to 70 digits after the decimal point, but you sometimes have to memorize larger integers for the continued fraction sequence than you would for the decimal expansion — the infamous 292 that makes the four-number approximation so precise, for example (here's a good explanation of why that is). On the other hand, a lot of elements of the continued fraction sequence that aren't large are just 1's, though — so all I'm saying is it's not without its perks.

I have the idea for a space pirates tsams au (was gonna be a fnaf sb au instead but I started thinking and then I had too much lore for some tsams characters that the sb au looked pale in comparison so here we are I am accepting my fate) and idk what to do with it. How exactly is this kit different from the objects we already have? From Get Famous, Highschool Years and Decor to the Max and other packs. It's all the same style 😭 Why don't they come up with something different? They could just take a look in the Sims 3 + Store if they ran out of ideas. Or take a look in this forum. Simmers made a ton of awesome suggestions here. Makes me feel again that they just don't care what we want. There are so many different styles in interior design. I would love an Art Deco or Eclectic or Bohemian kit. Or Fantasy. Or SciFi. Or Cyberpunk. A kit would be such a great opportunity to offer stuff that's niche. And doesn't fit in the Expasions. Or maybe this kit contains the leftovers of the packs I mentioned above 😅

BLEACH Characters that can and will defeat Gojo

In order to defeat Satoro Gojo, you need to overcome his Six Eyes, surpass his Limitless/Infinity and been able to survive his Red, Blue and Purple Power and of course... his Domain Expansion.

Zaraki is stronger and will eventually become faster than Gojo, and of course, his strongest ability, been able to cut every single thing in existance, Gojo's Limitless would be useless against Nozarashi.

Gerard of course is immortal and able to defy logic better than Gojo. The Miracle will find a way to surpass Gojo's Limitless and his Purple Power won't be able to kill Gerard.

Ichibei's Ichimonji will prove to be a great trouble to Gojo in every possible way, the black ink doens't have to touch Gojo. Ichibei can just absorve all the blackness in the Universe and consequantly erase Gojo from existence.

Yhwach... i refuse to elaborate, the f****** Allmighty is literally too much for Gojo's Six Eyes and Limitless.

Head Captain Shunsui Kyoraku would have troubles facing Gojo face to face but with his Bankai... there's no Domain Expansion nor Limitless that can stop Katen Kyokotsu Karamatsu Shinju, just the 2nd and 3rd fase of Shunsui's Bankai will be able to kill Gojo.

Lile Barro's shots will go trought Gojo's Limitless no problem and no Domain Expansion or Purple Power would be able to kill Lile because just like Gerard, hi's also imortal and unkillable.

Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu would be useless against the Six Eyes of Gojo, but...guess what, also immortal. He would eventually be able to surpass Gojo's Limitless with his great intellect and his knowleadge in Hado like Hado 90 that warps space-time like a fck Black Hole.

Jugram' s Schrift B, the Balance would prove to be a problem beyond anything Gojo has ever fought. Is the sword no reaching Gojo because of his Limitless? No Problem, the Balance will just increase Jugram's fortune to be able to hit Gojo with his sword of whatever.

DO NOT FUCK WITH THE QUINCIES MAN!!

Everything i said about Aizen you can double it in relation to Urahara and beyond that, his got a very broken BANKAI, that can surpass Gojo's Limitless

Askin is another BROKEN ASS Bleach character that doens't give a shit about Limitless. He can just make the air turn poisonous to Gojo or make his own blood became a poison. Besides, if Gojo doens't kill Asking in the first hit, wich trust me is very hard to do, there's no possible way that Gojo will be able to kill him later.

Gremmy...another BROKEN character that will just imagine Gojo in space, and goodbye Gojo. There's so many ways that Gremmy would be able to destroy Gojo in a blink of an eye and no Domain Expasion nor Purple Power would be enough.

With old man Yamma i'm not really sure that if he would be able to Kill Gojo with his Bankai, but you know... 15000000 degrees is a little to much for Gojo

Greetings from Stardust Camperland

Stardust in 1972 was the first to opened an RV park as a part of a Las Vegas resort. 100 spaces were opened on property behind the hotel along Industrial Road at what is now Sammy Davis Jr Dr & Goh Tong Way. Camperland had its own recreation room, swimming pool, and children's play, area along with laundry and shower rooms. The park was a hit in its first summer and expanded to 400 spaces by the end of the year. Other RV parks opened at Hacienda, Circus Circus, and downtown’s California Hotel, among others.
