I think it's absolutely hilarious how in CK as soon as Jesper throws the first punch all Kaz and Jesper's fighting skills go out the window and they start brawling and wrestling like children fighting over a piece of cake and Colm is the parent who divides the cake in two EQUAL halves.

Six of crows 🐦‍⬛ is great literature, a story of resilience and justice. But the lives of the kids in the slum are so tragic, and yet through personal experience, I know it’s an accurate portrayal of some places. I felt these were the most heart-breaking / eye-opening quotes in the book

1. Barrel boys don’t have parents. We’re born in the harbor and crawl out of the canals.

2. “They fear you as I once feared you. We are all someone’s monster, Nina.”

3. “How could you say something like that to her? She’s just a child.” “We were all children once.”

4. She learned to smile, to arch her back. She still wept, but the tears were never shed.

did we as a fandom just collectively forget how Kaz Brekker swallowed and regurgitated a bomb? I can't tell if I should be surprised or not tbh.

I imagine the Crows carving pumpkins for Halloween. Wylan would work very hard at a slow pace to achieve the masterpiece, while Jesper would choose the shooting method instead of carving. It's faster, you know? Nina would make Matthias do hers. He would argue that the Fjerdans don't celebrate Halloween, but he would do it anyway. Kaz would stab two knives into the top of the pumpkin and call it a day. Inej would definitely get out of control, buy all the pumpkins she could get her hands on, skillfully carve them all in a few minutes (probably some variation on the moon and crows scenes) and then decorate the entire Slat with them, including the roof.

I absolutely HATE book videos which have a sound from Six of Crows, yet their list of books that they're showing does NOT include SoC. Like a few days ago, I saw a vid with the title being 'Book boyfriends who if they couldn't walk, they'd crawl for their gf's' and none of the books shown in the video was Six of Crows! Literally that is where the sound is from! We need some justice for our dregs

Rereading Six of Crows to feel something and I just adore the dynamic of-
