Being autistic and not knowing what to do in certain situations is already bad enough.
But it’s even worse when you try explaining and the other people freak out like a bunch of NPCs and say shit like “Why not? Are you stupid? Do you not know The Rules? Haven’t you followed The Tutorial?????!!!!!!” (Not literally but it has the same effect!)
(Oblivion NPC behaviour! Many such cases)
And if you say anything to indicate that this is not the case they freak out! Or they just ignore your ass. At the best of times!
Acting like they’re filing a glitch report with God and that we’re somehow malfunctioning!
It’s sickening and exhausting to see!
Sickeningly predictable too!
Now, my parents at least understand. As do my other relatives and some people I’ve worked with. (Others not so much)
As did some of my friends, but still.

I really love the concept of an Atsushi / Akutagawa / Kyouka trio as it was shown in Dead Apple, and I really wish it would become a thing. I think it's neat how here Kyouka's dominant color is shown being purple as balance / synthesis of blue and red. Kyouka also uses as this kind of bridge between organizations since she was a member of both at some point, and still holds a very deep understanding of how they work. I think Kyouka could really make the sskk team work as a way to find balance between these two opposites that would otherwise clash and destroy each other.

Someone posting Lucy and Ghoul art with “DNI if you ship ghoulcy, fuck off” and then getting almost no notes from the fandom is so so sweet

I kind of love how Zutara has two distinct ship dynamics
dynamic 1: “I will save you from the pirates,” enemies-to-lovers, Zuko is dangerous but sexy, bad boy x good girl, morally grey antihero, Dramione vibes etc
dynamic 2: Zuko is an awkward turtleduck, idiots-to-lovers, pining for your best friend, having each other’s backs, thinking she’s the coolest thing since sliced bread, Percabeth vibes etc
We can argue about which is the correct interpretation until the cows come home, but I love that the possibilities exist in the first place. From s1 to post-series headcanons there are such distinct stages in their relationship, and you can basically pick whichever point that appeals to you and run with it. There’s something for everyone. Yet another reason why they’re the best ship y’all

Honestly there’s a lot of untapped potential for drama in continuations of the Everyone Hates You ending. Like here’s a bunch of Voices that you’ve traumatized and then left to rot, assuming they would never come back, but they’re here, and they’re out for blood.
Stuck in a world without change, they’re going to remain exactly as they were in their worst moments, forever hating and doomed to never get better, their wounds never healing. What would the worst version of themselves look like?
And do you try and help? Can you help, after everything you did to them. Or do you double down, and forsake them completely, becoming the big bad overlord of this new world of yours?
(trick question, I’ve thought about this a lot and am working on designs for the lil guys but as the worst versions of themselves.)

don’t be shy tell us more about eating ghost’s ass
i've never eaten a guys ass but i'm sure it ain't much different than girls
but also ik he's shook by you asking him if you can feel up his prostate. it'll be quick, one time thing and if he really hates it then it stops and you never do it again
except he makes a mess of your sheets within the first 30 seconds of finding it 🥴

I can't stop thinking about The Acolyte and how it delivered such a wonderfully complex and nuanced story.
In some Star Wars media, the desire to delineate everything into a clear Good/Bad dichotomy does a disservice to the stories and characters. It's hard to textually criticize the actions or philosophy of the Jedi Order because they're an institution that is defined as Good and any Jedi who becomes Bad is simply an outlier and a bad egg: the Order itself is beyond reproach, and characters who criticize the Jedi do so out of misplaced anger or obviously evil motivations. There are few opportunities for Force users to exist outside of the Jedi/Sith dichotomy because rejecting the Jedi philosophy is on the verge of rejecting Good itself.
The Acolyte gave us Jedi who acted with earnest good intentions and made terrible, costly mistakes and covered those mistakes up, denying justice and resolution to the people they hurt. It showed us a calm, quiet Sith living a simple and ordinary life outside of his conflict with the Jedi who longed for a student and Force witches who wanted sanctuary and solitude, who tried to avoid a destructive battle and still ended up dying defending their home. It allowed characters to be rightfully justified in their anger and grief and guilt, and I found myself sympathizing with every character in turn, wishing that things could have just gone _slightly_ differently for them and put them on a different path. The tragedies happen at the intersection of those justified emotions and the rigidly held belief, reinforced by each character's lived experience, that the other side has left them no choice, that the only way through is violence and death.
I hope The Acolyte gets more seasons, and I hope Star Wars explores more stories that are at the periphery of The Main Plot. I hope the fandom is encouraged to look beyond a black-and-white way of thinking and appreciate genuinely complicated characters without needing to label them unironically as Flawless or Irredeemable because one day, I hope those fans are writing and maybe even directing fresh new Star Wars stories and giving me something to be excited about.

“JJJ does something nice and the other characters look at him like he’s a horror movie monster” is one of my favorite running gags.
