my first purely aesthetic tattoo and also my biggest piece! i found @/reina.asami's work on instagram and instantly fell in love with their style. a lot of their work centers around japanese culture and specifically japanese american culture. i had such a lovely conversation with them about being mixed and my experiences. we also talked about the irony of honoring our japanese heritage with tattoos haha

my most recent tattoo and maybe one of the most special. my brother and i have been wanting matching tattoos for yeaaaars but couldn't really think of anything to get. our love for pokemon was always something we had in common but he models and can't have anything copyrighted on his body. however, one of his favorite pokemon is ditto and i got the idea to just do its face because you could argue that it's just a smiley haha. so i decided to get just a wobbuffet face to match! what made it special is that we were able to tattoo each other! he did stick and poke for mine and i got to use a machine which was rad.

that's all for now!! i want more so badddd. definitely want a back piece at some point and would also love to get a little shooting star to commemorate making "i don't want to be a magical girl"

So I spoke somewhat about my thoughts on Emanator Sampo here, but I never really thought of it from a design point of view or what kind of powers he would have until just recently. But I actually kind of love leaning into it from a "stage hand" perspective?

Because like. Aha's body in THEIR official art is completely black, giving attention to all the fun brightly colored things around THEM. And that's so fitting for Sampo! He usually prefers to be a side character. He likes to act from the shadows. His is a much more subtle hand.

So I wonder if as an Emanator, a lot of his clothes are actually very dark? Not necessarily plain, still extravagant and needlessly detailed in things like cut and quality with lots of different fabrics and textures and ornamentation, but dark. Or maybe even his skin itself becomes blackened further down his body; his hands in particular are dark, as a sort of sleight of hand reference.

The motif of a lot of straps wrapped around him like in his canon design is still present, but they're all loose and flowing off of him like paper streamers now instead of restraining him or holding him together. He is no longer contained! Or maybe they're still a bit more rigid/heavy, but just draped more like red stage curtains!

And this is like. Fully self-indulgent, but I love inhuman designs, and there's nothing in canon to say I can't do this, so screw it! Go for broke!! Maybe it's not visible to normal people, but Sampo having a second set of arms would be really cool, as further sleight of hand reference. One set is almost normal looking, but his hands are a bright, attention-drawing white, and the other is dark, set almost in the shadows of the first arms, to act less noticeably.

He also has something of a broken heart design to him in canon (the front of his black shirt with its jagged shape down the middle; his coat looks like a full heart shape in the back), and I actually like him keeping that element as an Emanator, because I think it suits him. Sampo says his taste in aesthetics and views on Elation involve human dignity,

and the story he helps create in Belobog involves the long and winding road of resistance and survival and eventual triumph in the face of some very adverse, oppressing odds. (I'm pretty sure I heard he once called Wildfire "artless" though, plus the man acts like he thinks Shame is some kind of dessert, so like ndkdjzjskkd) But the point being!!

I think Sampo is someone who can appreciate heartbreak and angst and tragedy in a story, because it makes the victory at the end all the sweeter. And this would be another thing he shares with Aha, because I think THEY did bless the Mourning Actors partly just to be a little shit, but also because Aha does recognize tragedy as part of THEIR Path, too, and you can see it in some of the game. So a broken heart motif can still suit him, and I like him having elements of both comedy and tragedy. Like his clothing having a happy sun/sad moon (like the moon in Aha's art) or him having both of the traditional comedy/tragedy masks in his design.

And as Emanator, Sampo can maybe play with the stage settings environment, too. Like lights sometimes behave strangely around him, appearing blindingly bright to someone or dramatically dark. Sampo wills it and suddenly there seems to be a metaphorical spotlight right where he wants everyone to look. And when he doesn't want to be noticed, his face seems to be cast in shadow, he seemingly just fades into the background, no one notices or recognizes him and he sneaks away easily. He can create smoke or fog literally out of thin air without his bombs now, too, the air will just suddenly thicken until his stage is obscured, and Sampo can set the scene as he pleases or disappear without a trace.

And in line with being a stage hand, Sampo can direct attention like no other. He was already extremely good at this as a normal mortal, and becoming an Emanator only took it up to 11, past human limits. Sampo points, and all present feel compelled to follow his fingertip. He looks away, and they all follow his gaze. He can even affect the mood of an audience; he can influence everyone to be calm and placid or he can whip them into a feverish frenzy. Sometimes a crowd will start to become unsettled, agitation stirring until it boils over, until it incites a full on violent mob.

And in the middle of all that chaos will stand one perfectly calm figure, face cast in shadow, until they quietly slip away out of sight.

Hehe, I just tried to design for fun. (My friends and I have been discussing the plot for several nights in private (a bit exaggerated hehe) 

In fact, I started making these designs when I read the first chapter for the second time. The main picture is the part where Moon chases YN. The picture quality was so poor that I had to take them apart.The image of Moon is based on the poster drawn by cailaventog, so it is a little different from the current design.

By the way, I put down my own Sakura YN design.(Curly hair is also cute, but my hands don't allow me to draw it) (I don't want them to be bald so that's it haha) I'm doing hand-drawing practice recently, so boys became my practice objects haha ​​(the lines are so bad that they force me to enter artistic hibernation......

There's a lot of messy sketches and additions (I'm going to hibernate after this post.)

This took a while, heh. Sorry for the wait in regards of stories, writer's block has arrived at Destination Me.

Not sure if I'll do the rest of the characters, feeling pretty down. Maybe someday.

Boxten: “Cloudy Dream”

“Almost…almost…there!”

You sat up to lean back and look over your work.The prettiest shade of lavender dripped from a small paintbrush you held, a can of white as well close by.

“Okay, we can let it dry, and then you can take the tarp off. Don’t want your clothes to get paint on them too.”

He reached up gingerly to pat his face down as he normally would, but you grabbed his hand quickly, forcing it away.

“Boxten…”

“Sorry, sorry! It’s a habit…”

Poppy: “Sapphire Dots”

“You’re sure this isn't a bit tacky?”

“I don’t care if it's tacky, what matters is I’m wearing it, and I’m proud!”

“Being proud doesn’t hide a poor sense of fashion.”

“Y/N!!!”

Tisha: “Lavender Maid”

“And to top it all off…”

You brought out the item from behind your back and gave it to her.

“A brand new feather duster!”

She gasped in delight, and gently put it down, then hugged you.

“Oh my goodness, thank you so much! The old one I had was getting so dirty, and I can't really wash stuff like that…”

“Hehe, I’m excited to see you use it! Have fun!”

Finn: “Prismatic Pal”

“MORE SHINE! MORE!!”

“FINN THIS IS GETTING TO BE TOO MUCH-”

“She’s got a point!” “(Alright then…but at least make it something simple.)”

“Aw, okay then. How does a mix of greens sound?”

“It won't be something like yellow-green, will it? (Yuck…)”

“Nope, more like turquoise.”

“Oooh, I’m excited to see how it looks! (Sounds pretty…)”

Cosmo: “Caramel Drizzle”

“I thought that maybe because you and Sprout are friends, you guys could have matching outfits! Whaddya say?”

“Really? Oh, yes please! That’s very sweet of you to think of us…”

“It’s not much really. Here, can you turn around so I can adjust your apron?”

Cosmo patiently did as you said, waiting as you secured the warm orange bow around his back. He only turned around again under your gentle pulling motions so you could smooth out his apron.

“And…this might be a bit hot, but please bear with me. It’s caramel after all.”

You took the bottle from the stand next to you, making a quick drizzle motion so it lined perfectly on top of his head.

You poured a little sauce on your hand to dab on his cheeks, then wiped your hands off and leaned down to get the perfect angle to place the stars in, sticking your tongue out as you worked.

He didn’t tear up or hiss at how hot it is though, he seemed to let out a sigh and…melt?

…He actually looked pretty content.

“Warm…”

I guess that confirms it.

Flutter: “Vibrant Monarch”

“Be still, I’m almost done.”

Flutter nervously flapped her wings, slapping you in the face every so often and nearly knocking you out of your chair.

“Please Flutter, the paint will be blurry and won’t look good if you keep moving.”

“...!!!”

“I know you don’t like standing, but you need to right now! You can fly all you want when I’m done.”

“...!”

“Thank you.”

She lightly tapped the floor with her foot as if testing the waters, flinching every so often, before she set both feet on the ground and stood stiffly, anxiously waiting for you to finish.

Goob: “Special Spaghetti”

“I want to commit cannibalism on myself.”

“What-”

Goob: “Fun Partygoer”

“Ooooooh, I get a party hat too??”

“Yes you do Goob, let- let me- adjust it please-! Please stOp BOunCIng!“

“Sorry, I’m just so excited to see how I look!”

“I get it I get it, but pleas-!”

The party hat crumpled under a particularly high jump.

“...”

“...”

You sat down, head in your hands and started crying.

“WAIT NONONO Y/N I-!”

Glisten: “Warm Sweater”

(Based off my opinion! I love blue and white, but THE MAKEUP RAAAAA-)

“I still think the eyeshadow is a bit much.”

“Well, I don’t!”

“But you say you look good no matter what you wear, right…?”

“...Yes…”

“So you shouldn’t have a problem with no eyeshadow because it’ll look just as good!”

“But I- you-!”

“End of conversation.”

(Glisten somehow convinced you to give him back his makeup)

Gigi: “Rainy Day”

“But I don’t waaaaaannaaaaa!”

“Gigi, it’s still an oversized sweater. You’re basically just changing the color of it and adding some drawstrings, okay?”

“Noooooooooo…but…b-but…”

“Yeah I know what a butt is, you have one yourself. Now give me that―”

You yanked the sweater out of her hands, cutting yourself off as you stumbled back, “―Thank you!”

Quickly checking for rips and finding nothing, you let out a sigh of relief, then immediately raised your hand in the air to avoid her grabbing ones.

“Nooooooo, gimme it back!”

You sighed again, walking over to the dresser―well, as best you could with a whiny Gigi trying to trip you― and pulled out a yellow sweater with a hood.

Placing her old clothes on a high shelf so she couldn’t reach it, you turned and picked her up, setting her down to sit on the edge of the dresser and pulled the yellow sweater over her head.

Her crying instantly stopped and she snuggled down into it, content. You let out another(she’s a handful to deal with) sigh and sat down next to her, petting her head.

Sprout: “Salted Caramel”

“And you’re sure that you’ll be fine?”

“Yes, Y/n! Now just do it!”

You hesitantly poured the bucket of caramel on him, covering half of his face bit by bit while also making sure not to get the petals wet.

You let out a sigh of relief as the last drop dripped from the container, making a quiet plip sound as it joined the rest of the warm sauce.

The rest of it settled on the tarp below, collecting in a puddle that stained his feet orange. You’d have to clean him later.

He reached up a hand, messing with the caramel on his face before you slapped his hand away.

“No! I’ll have to put a new coating on you if you mess with it.”

He simply chuckled in response, “Not like I’d mind.”

Vee: “Cosmic Signal”

You sighed in relief as you checked over her mic, making sure there weren’t any scratches.

“Okay…finally done. Oof, that took a lot out of me.”

“I can tell. Making 25 different costumes that actually look good isn’t exactly an easy job.”

You perked up upon hearing this.

“So you DO like Scraps' costume!”

“What!? I-”

“I’m joking, I already know.”

She just glared at you and looked to the side.

I'm gonna put all of my yapping + bonus stuff under the cut, because it's a lot lol. (there's concept art, mini comic, and a drabble, if you wanna skip the yap)

Firstly, I really need to give a huge special thank you to my bff, who has helped me with decisions and just cheering my on throughout this whole project, ily my liege!! <3 And to pejaposarambi who offered his help near the end, when I was losing my mind and gave me SUCH good tips to help me complete this!! Seriously, thank you both so much omfg!!TTATT

So, I tried my best to incorporate a few of the asked prompts: fairytale, fantasy, hurt/comfort or angst with a happy ending (more implied/vague, in this case), soulmates, a bit of 'they're a fantastical beast that can hurt the other' vibe, and something sweet where they're kinda comforting each other? Idk, but I tried aha.

For the fairytale and fantasy, I gave them original designs to fit the theme of both. The whole angst/hurt is more implied, but I tried to convey a bit of a story here; where Keith's sword is wrapped in broken chains, after helping free Shiro, and they're comforting each other.

The soulmates is implied from the stars. Their zodiac constellations (Scorpio & Pisces), are mapped in the sky together, along with their respective planets (Mars, Jupiter, Neptune). I wasn't sure how to place soulmates persay, but I think its romantic and conveys it pretty well. And the water is also representative to their signs too, aha!

The fantastical beast part is me really pushing it lol. But often times, dragons and unicorns are seen as like, enemies or hurt one another in a lot of stories. So I was going for a bit of that here. + their designs kinda resemble prickly thorn vs softie? Yea, I know, ya gotta squint for this part of the theme but I tried.xDD /also has a nice dark vs light theme hehe.

Some quick lore 'cause why not: when Keith was younger, he was going to die (idk, abandonment? defeat during battle? Saving Shiro? idk), but Shiro saved his life, using his tears. Keith was deeply touched, as it was the first time he experienced kindness? Idk. But when Shiro had to eventually leave, he swore to himself he'd repay him one day. Fast forward, and the king Keith is forced to serve, has captured a rare unicorn, that could give him eternal life using his tears? Or force Shiro to take him to eternity/paradise? Idk. Keith fought through hell and back to eventually help free Shiro (breaking the chain), and the two managed to escape, fleeing to a peaceful place where they can be together. Yea, there's a lot of "idk's" and big holes there, but I've yapped TOO MUCH.TT.TT

(Also, can I just say PLEASE. If this had an OST, I'd say the Galaxy Express 999 OST would be it for me. But for this illustration in particular, this song is doing it for me.)

So uhhh, this was a *journey*. I think I've been working on this for over 2 months now? A lot of thought went into it. I only do this level of planning when it's a huge project, and I typically don't share my thumbnails and concepts; because they're garbage and only meant for me. But I figured it could be fun for others to see lol.

For the design, I had a good idea of the theme at least! I wanted to have Keith's design to really resemble a dragon, while also using some elements from his BOM outfit. I leaned into the purple because I like purple, but wondering if I should have gone red. Hmmm. I tried to make him look as intimidating and prickly as I could; almost like if you were to touch him, you'd get pricked like a thorn.:-3

For Shiro, I went with looser clothes; kinda inspired by ancient Greek fashion and gods. I rushed his more, and ended up not having the time + energy to put in all the details I wanted for him.:-( I kept his clothes and hair all white/silver, to make him look like he came from the stars. His jewellery is gold + blue to relate to his zodia planets aha. I was gonna have him have longer bangs, but decided against it as I inked.

Anyways, I wanted the pose to be the same as “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt. But uhh, once I got all the designs done, and actually started sketching things out; I just couldn't get it to work. I am still disappointed in myself for that, but I had to move on and find ways to make things work. I guess that's part of the process. How humbling.=_=

I don't have too many progress shots, because I suck with that; but here's a few lol.

And then a bonus comic, because I couldn't stop thinking this throughout this entire project.xD Where the real angst lies.

I also wrote a teeny, tiny drabble. It's kinda trash and superrr corny, sorry;;; I wrote it in like, an hour or something with very little editing. But I wanted to I guess explain a bit of the story, in this particular scene specifically. Idk. Sorry to those who can actually write it's terrible;;;

So that's the end! I really tried my best to cram as many prompts into one; I know I changed the designs a lot, but I hope they still look recognizable. I still feel disappointed with myself, because it didn't come out exactlyyy how I envisioned. There were so many bumps along the way, I wish I could have done better. Still, there were fun moments (when it wouldn't slow down my PC lol). I tried out so many techniques, both old and new; it was quite the experience! I'm especially proud with some of the effects and texturing. And I hand-drew soooo many elements. Like, I could have used a pre-made grass brush for ex. But nope! Drew each blade of grass like a loser.=_= (but was worth it; was able to preserve the *crunch*)

And yea, don't expect this level of detail from me often. This is a once every few years kinda piece lol. Usually my stuff is pretty wonky and rushed. But I was happy to work on such a big project after so many years!!

We're being self-indulgent again, folks! Here's a Shadowheart 'fit inspired by Slovak Kroj. This is actually completely unrelated to the Miku art challenge going around rn lol I drew Karlach in traditional Slavic clothes months ago (also posted on here) and I'm hoping to get through all the companions at some point 'cuz I think it'd be a fun challenge for myself. I'll put some detail shots/info under the keep reading for anyone interested.

Her flower crown has night orchids in it hehe. Also I only just realized she doesn't have a lot of freckles in the real game but I added them to the last Shart fanart I did so fuck it, we're committing. (also I had to learn how to actually render a braid for this rip)

The center of her sash is designed after her headband in the game. I went for a star + plant motif for the designs to connect back to Selune/Shar. Also, in my first playthrough I got kinda annoyed with her so I only dressed her in swampy colours, gave her the wood woad shield and called her 'Swampheart' so she's a green plant girlie to me forever and always.

Here are a few of my references. I tried to play around with the visuals a bit. White, red and blue tend to be the classic colours for Kroj but I've seen some very beautiful black and green ones out there. I also think the darker colours just fit her vibe better. When working on designs like this I tend to take some elements directly from references and others I use as inspiration to come up with my own designs so I'm not just copying outfits 100%. At some point I might try drawing her in a more traditional looking Kroj but for now I had fun being a bit silly and artsy with the designs :))

about reader and dottore having a child, i love imagining some lost agents being so terrified of our little sweetheart (bc look at him, he has the genes of a monster) but then being so shocked when he whipped up the brightest smile in all of teyvat (although if you ask him and dottore yours is brighter, like a sun compared to a star) and started happily leading them to their designated lap and segment

our little baby having some of readers birthmarks would be so cute, or like the hair is a little more like yours texture-wise, the eyes are way softer looking and has more of a spark... yk the tiniest detail only you and dottore would notice

speaking of that hehe imagining the sweetheart has the looks of your husband but the personality of you, you could get this boy to do so many things to dottore without many(- to none) questions. like idk, teasing him for yours but then you fall asleep on your hubby so your son takes over, using puppy eyes when you want attention bc double the cuteness turned out to be more effective... i have too many ideas and i almost feel bad for dottore now

but yeah just you and your precious son annoying your husband because you're both bored of sitting in bed all day

also some of the harbingers who don't really know you finding out years after your son was born is so funny to me for like no reason

like arlie not wanting a dottore segment around her children but he's also related to you so he wouldn't dare hurt any of them

a lot of agents would find out with rumors or being unlucky and put in a lap with a segment and him, then talking to the sweetheart and not being as scared (kind of)

some of the harbingers probably ended up finding out by the many things their agents "whisper" about

but childe, columbina, pantalone, the grandpa(im so sorry i cant remember his name), and then ofc pierro and her majesty Tsaritsa knew already. tsaritsa and pierro because i guess they kind of have to or they yk can tell. the rest was there while you(/something??) was pregnant for reasons. also childe (+ pantalone) is the uncle despite poor zandik trying to not let it happen, but he's good at the children thing, so he will let it slide (you threatened to not kiss him or any segment for two days, zandy would be spared dw)

i would also give you name ideas but my brain is dull and stopped working so meh

There are many things you can encounter in the Doctor's lab, being the place of research it is, but the most unbelievable thing is the little child that oddly resembles Lord Dottore that one can find wandering about sometimes (correction: that has somehow escaped from the watchful gaze of his parents.) Any agent that encounters this little guy always pauses in shock for a good few moments, watching the little blue-haired boy smile a smile as blinding as the sun, before whipping out the Fatui's Handbook to learn how to proceed with this matter. Needless to say, it is imperative for one to know how to deal with this situation - this is the Lord Harbinger, the Doctor, Il Dottore's child after all.

The child having Dottore's looks and your personality is the best combination you could ask for. Uncle Pantalone and Auntie Columbina have so, so much fun with your son, telling him the most ridiculous stories about his father, which your son repeats to Dottore, making the scientist want to end his two co-workers immediately. You do nothing to stop the show. Of course, you only make it worse. Needless to say, Dottore is absolutely tired of you two, but he loves you both so there's nothing he can really do other than scold you and then dispel his son's questions.

Dottore would keep the matter as private as possible, but that's kind of impossible considering how curious his kid grows to be (snuck out multiple times, landed in the House of the Hearth once, walked into one of the Captain's training sessions - he has a knack for riling things up, much like how you did a long time ago.) Despite the majority of people having... certain feelings toward the Doctor, well, at the very least they had to congratulate you. (Why would you ever raise a kid with him?) (Childe giving you the best advice ever about dealing with kids while Dottore stares daggers at him because you kicked him out...)

Now that the main two have been properly developed, here's a little info on cosmic Pepperman.

In this version, he's no longer a cosmic entity but just an eldritch entity, not quite as powerful but still enough to absolutely desimate entire worlds

What brought such a being into existence you may ask ?

Well, all of the magic and pride from every Pepperman in the multiverse formed a entity at the image of their paintings. Don't think of him as Pepperman tho, he's not, he's but a mear incarnation of pride and ego, a very one dimensional on in fact, he litteraly doesn't know his name is Phil, any complicated deep feelings simply don't exist for him.

He just loves to brag about his beauty, his art (especially his art) and power, very irritating guy...

Now, the Ticket Stand

First, let's clarify this: the Ticket stand is the booth with the entity inside, the entity inside is just called "Ticket stand guy"

The Ticket Stand guy is an entity of the void, it came to life after absorbing a small flame from C Pep's primordial fire. It just passes time by selling it's services as a reality warper for the fair price of $10.

I've already quite developed it's story, so I'll just give you some doodles

C Noise thinks it's funny, and pointless. Why would the void need personification ? And why choose a F. Pep ?

C Pep thinks he's more of a hasard than anything, not very fond that a void entity is casually going around the multiverse. But it seems calm enough, so he let's it live. Pretty much every eldritch entities in the cosmic realm can destroy the multiverse if they wanted so... yeah...he's used to it

and now, Noisette !

Noisette is a little star traveler ! She wonders throughout realms atop her umbrella.

She's quite the bubbly chatter box, and loves to hear adventures from other people.

Here she isn't fond of C Noise at all, she thinks he's an obnoxious weirdo

She likes C Pep tho, he's a funny man

She's not very developed I'm sorry, but I love her and her design and couldn't bring myself to ignore her.

This is a scraped mini comic I made, I didn't post it due to it's poor quality, but what the hell I'll post it now

And this is a whole lot more bigger scrapped comic starring C Noise and the soon to be C Noisette of this version. I never bothered to finish it because back when I made it, I barely had an idea of what the AU is about and it just didn't match with my idea of the Cosmic AU eventually. You can try to read it, but I warn you it's full of weird shit.

This is also a scrapped comic. In this story, C Pep creates out of a burst of creativity a cheese town with a cheese castle, cheese people with their cheese king and queen (none of them are sentient). Eventually the town is attacked by space rats (yes, space rats are a thing), C Pep beats them off effortlessly but got flamed up in the heat of the fight, in his absolute shock he sees that his flames didn't melt anything in the town, after repairing some buildings that broke during the fight, he leaves... but he didn't realise that during the fight his primordial fire gave sentience to all cheese people who witnessed his heroic acts. The cheese people immediately start to carve, write and sing about the story of The Mighty Cosmic chef, creator and hero of Cheesetopia. It was fun in my head but I eventually got a little bored and passed on some other projects.

floyd who goes out of his way to make all of your meals look cute and taste delicious. like the pancakes he decorates with fruit to look like a bear or a cat! he wakes up extra early to prepare an entire buffet for you, including all of your favorites so you’ll be more enticed to eat. mealtimes are meant to be enjoyable, so it always saddens him when you pick at your plate, too nervous to ask for seconds or to eat even half of what’s on your plate when he’s watching. you’re always so anxious around him. it breaks his heart! :( he tries his best to be gentle and patient, especially in the mornings when he wakes you up and sees how cute and sleepy you are, clinging to his arm and mumbling about how it’s too early (it’s nearly afternoon now).

floyd who picks up gifts and treats for you on his way home. maybe it’s a fluffy pastry that reminded him of how soft and sweet you are or it’s a huge plushie that he knows you’ll love to snuggle with. he likes spoiling you with gifts because he adores seeing you smile, if only for a minute. he never expects anything in return and he isn’t doing this to win your affections (although he hopes it at least warms you up to him). just knowing you’re happy is enough for him. (but he does cuddle with his own shrimp plushie he bought on a whim hehe). sometimes he’ll set the plushies around the table so you’ll have company when you eat, just to avoid awkwardness when it’s you and him. sometimes he’ll make the plushies talk to each other with silly voices. his theatrics managed to get a few giggles out of you, so he knows you secretly enjoy it. he really wants to kiss you, but he knows you’d get scared and so he quells the urge by making a plushie give you a tiny peck on the lips.

floyd who, in the midst of a volatile mood swing, knows to distance himself from you so you won’t have to see him at his worst. he gets frustrated when you avoid him or talk about the outside or other people. when he’s angry like this, he wants to break something or someone. he could never take his emotions out on you, though! he’d never forgive himself if he did, so he goes outside and walks around or he’ll mindlessly clean the house or he’ll cook a bunch of different dishes. he could go out, look for trouble, and beat it to a pulp, but he knows you hate seeing him covered in blood, knuckles bruised and possibly broken, so he refrains from doing that. he’s picked up this habit: when he’s in a bad mood, he does good instead of bad. like cooking and cleaning instead of hurting and hitting others. and eventually the smell of good food or a fresh, clean house soothes him and brings him back to earth, no longer so wrapped up in unpredictable thoughts and feelings. he’ll knock on your door because you take to hiding when he’s pacing, prowling for something to get his hands on or sink his teeth into, and he tells you he made food or he cleaned the house or he tried to knit a sweater for his shrimp plushie.

floyd who pastes glow-in-the-dark shapes to the walls and ceiling so you won’t be so frightened of the darkness (or more realistically: of the person who dwells in that darkness). he buys a lot of different designs: moons and stars, sea creatures, flowers, and so on. he has too much fun putting them up and he encourages you to decorate to your heart’s content. floyd arranges some of the stars into a heart. normally he’d find it cheesy, but he likes it and seeing your expression soften makes it all the more worthwhile. he places his hand in the center of the heart and you follow his lead, gingerly placing yours over his. he smiles at you and asks, “big enough for two?” you nod, quietly echoing, “big enough for two.”

floyd who arranges the plushies in rows in the sitting room as if they’re all intended to be watching a show. he’s a portrait of lazy comfort in his sweatpants. you’re wearing his shirt. it’s nothing fancy, but then it doesn’t have to be. he’s taken a curtain down so you can use it as a veil, and he lifts it up to look at you. it’s his version of a wedding spent in confinement. the plushies watch with unseeing eyes, each one a witness to magnificent matrimony. the shrimp is sat on the sofa, intended to be a priest with its little recipe book. floyd makes up his vows as he goes, but they’re all spoken truthfully. the rings aren’t anything fancy either; he said he’d get you a nice one if you wanted it, but you seem fine with the plastic ones that came on a cake he bought. there’s a butterfly ring and a ring that says happy spring on it. it’s silly. it’s hardly marriage material. but it’s so very floyd, and that’s arguably much better than fussing over details. you make up your vows as well, speaking most of them through giggles because it’s more fun than serious. floyd asks if you’ll have him forever, if you’ll marry him and become his for the rest of your days, if you’ll continue to be his shrimpy; you say you will. rather than kissing you, he presses his forehead to yours and smiles. it’s a marriage of many promises. instead of an “i do” a forehead touch seems to signify the finality of this mock wedding. you and the plushies who served as guests celebrate with a feast. floyd’s outdone himself this time, but then he always does. chef floyd never disappoints, especially when he knows there’s a special occasion to be celebrated. and this occasion is the most special.

floyd who builds a pillow and blanket fort in the bedroom. he spends an abnormally long time perfecting it, which is unusual because floyd’s never been one for perfection. but he’s meticulous with this, so meticulous you’d think he’s building a nest for a mate. and maybe he is. eel instincts are so deeply rooted in his being, even when he’s not in the sea. he packs the fort with all of your favorite things: the eel and shrimp plushies, a few books, lots of snacks, plenty of blankets and pillows, and a tablet so the two of you can watch movies. he has you cover your eyes when he leads you to the bedroom and he’s practically radiating excitement in his haste to show you his hard work. you seem delighted to behold the fort in all of its comfy glory, and floyd is restraining himself from picking you up and carrying you over to the fort. he has to remember personal space. he has to be patient, and he is. always. only for you.

the lights are turned off and the both of you snuggle in the fort together, watching your film of choice. for once in his life, he’s the nervous one. he doesn’t want to do anything to upset you. this is the closest he’s been to you in a while. you’re letting him hold you! he’s really so happy. through the sheets in the fort, the faint glow from the plastic shapes can be seen. he finds the heart right away. it’s hard to miss.

floyd’s dozing. it’s easy to feel comforted in your presence. now that he’s finally relaxing after spending hours putting the fort together, he’s oddly sleepy. but before he can completely submit to his dreams, something on his lips rouses him. he opens his eyes to find the shrimp plushie giving him a kiss and it takes him a minute to realize the meaning behind the gesture. and then he’s staring past the plush at you, mismatched eyes blown hilariously wide. and then a smile sprawls on his face, and he gathers you in his arms, laughing and rubbing his cheek against yours. his shrimpy is the cutest!

he asks if he can kiss you for real this time—without the plushie���and you nod, and it’s the first time floyd realizes patience pays off. usually he’s not so awkward about physical touch, but it’s a different story to be given permission to do something he’s always wanted to do rather than just taking it for himself. he kisses you modestly at first, uncharacteristically chaste, obviously holding back, but it isn’t long until he’s melting against you. he holds you so gently, so firmly, molding his body to yours in the soft comforts of the fort. he kisses you breathless and dizzy, more than once, so much that the two of you break apart for air, panting like you’ve just run a marathon.

floyd switches positions so you’re lying on your back and he’s caging you between his arms. he asks if he can fuck you, promises he’ll be gentle, mumbles about how you’re so pretty all spread out under him. his hand slips into yours, squeezing reassuringly. he won’t do anything you don’t want him to. he’ll prepare you well. he’s good with his mouth, after all! that has you laughing. he’s laughing, too, his heart full of feathers, his mind muddled with warmth and sweetness.

and even if you don’t want to go all the way, he’s just happy to be here with you. your answer is spoken against his lips, and he promises he’ll treat you good. so good. the best kind of good you’ll ever have. and he means every word because he’s never be dishonest with you. and that’s a promise he’d never dare break.

One Piece - Warrior Cats AU, but it's a post-apo world with cats playing pirates to replace humans; here's the strawhats first!

Finally made small clean designs of the ideas i had for months haha- Not sure who i'll make next but there's so many characters i want to draw as cats hehe (i can take suggestions)

Monkeydawn: can't remember why i made him a colour point- Warrior cat names are a pirate thing, and Dawn is exclusive to the Ds. The ribbon is basically the strawhat here, given by Redscar (i didn't like the look of hats on cats-). Leader of Strawclan but he's bad at names so everyone named themselves

Mossthorn: gray oriental cat. Formerly named Thorn the Fox, Moss is a joke from Snail but also his favorite colour so- He's Clan deputy and a knife wielder, the harness is to keep them on his back.

Waveberry: long hair calico cat. Formerly named Wave, and was Wavestorm in the fishcats' clan. Berries are still a currency here but it sounded better than trying to fit Tangerine in her name. First warrior of the clan and terrain painter. Oh and there's Cloudstar too (names in -star are deities names)

Pebbleflight: black tabby cat. Formerly Pebble and had too many ideas for his pirate name. He grows poisonous plants for projectiles. Wanted as Flyingspark and then Pebblestar (he also has a star on his forehead like WC leaders have in fanarts!)

Snailswirl: Turkish van. Snail is a name he was given by Redleg (such a joke for a french cook but i love it), and Swirl is a joke from Moss. He's both a warrior and a med cat, his cooking experiments helping with faster recoveries.

Antlerfall: Neko no mi, model: lynx. Was named like a pirate by med cat Cherrytree, as his antlers disappear in his full lynx form. He's actually taller than most of the crew in all his forms. The one and only med reindeer !

Ravenbloom: russian blue. Went by the name Newmoon in Baroque Works, and is wanted as "Devilkit". She took back her childhood name Raven when joining the clan. Six legged most of the time because come on it's useful. Studies the extinction of humans (the existence of humans is still to be proven)

Blueflame: blue Mainecoon. Formerly named Littleflame, and renamed Blue by Iceberg, mixed both names when joining the crew. Lost his tail and badly injured his paws in the train accident, so the cyborg part is more like an exoskeleton. And hey, being six legged is fun. Assigned builder of the crew.

Whalesong: Siberian cat. Had his name from the black and white pattern of his fur making him look like an orca, and it fits with Laboon! So yes he is wearing his own fur because of course. His soul form also look like a typical starclan spirit fanarts, and starclan is an old pirate legend here.

Sharkstrike: fishcat! I'm so close to make a whole speculative evolution project about fishcats, but basically, they are cats if they had taken the same evolutionary path as whales. He's not a shark, he's still "just" a cat, but most fishcats are named after sea creatures.

nightmare: "ink. ah, that girl is an enigma, truly. somedays she supports me on my path to world domination, and other days she just laughs at me and says as if it were a fact that i would never achieve it! ugh... but despite my slight grievances, she's dream's friend, and i've grown fond of her. quite often, without me even requesting, she gifts me paintings. now, they may seem normal at first, but recently i've discovered a pattern with them. as if ink had peered into the mind of god and depicted it visually, the paintings assist me in handling dream appropriately. i must say, she's skilled as well..."

killer: "see now ink? she's my type of gal. we get along pretty well, hehe! we're on the same wavelength or something, i dunno. not like she can predict what i do, but i wouldn't be surprised if she could, but ink and i just click. we talk about all sorts of silly stuff; similar sense of humor, after all. ink and i can yap about different shows and movies we've watched and stuff, she gives really good insight on the more technical stuff like color psychology and framing, and she once drew me art for one of my big follower milestones on twitter! she's suuuuper cool, haha!"

dust: "okay, just... keep this between me and you, but i think ink has some sort of secret sixth sense? i dunno. nothing against her, she's a fun person. just that, uh... sometimes she just comes up to me when i least expect it and starts asking me about my progress on my writing. which is... confusing. i've only ever told killer and horror about my writing, so i don't know how she knows...?"

horror: "y'know, dust and i have a bit of a bet going on. all jokes and all, but i've got a feeling ink's pulling some sort of elaborate spying prank with how much she knows about us... dust doesn't think so. but i'm betting 20 bucks she does. like, once i was at a vending machine and the stupid thing didn't give me my goddamn candy bar, ugh. i had to stay cool. but then ink just pops out of nowhere, says its okay for me to drop the act and get mad around her, and then does some sort of vending machine trick to get the candy?? yeah, she's definitely a wizard or something. in a nice way, i guess."

dream: "ah, swap! she's one of my dearest friends, i truly care for her deeply. out of sheer coincidence it seems, that she, ink, and i were chosen to be the star students of the school, but surprisingly it works out well... swap's truly a delight. she's a great motivator, and she's saved me from a few situations that would've ended up terribly had she not been there, hehe."

nightmare: "sometimes the world hates me. ah- well, what i meant was, the path of fate has me set on a predetermined path of struggle! and yet, when even i, the queen of negativity, could not stop my kin from slipping on a ridiculously placed banana peel and almost breaking her neck, swap was her knight in shining armor and caught her. needless to say, just as fate despises my bloodline, fate also has angels sent down from heaven. i do suppose swap is one of those, bless her soul."

killer: "heh, swap?? that girl's a riot! couple years ago i tried convincing her to show me some of those sick moves she learned at kickboxing, or karate, taekwondo, whatever... she broke my wrist, haha! but then i pulled a knife on her and then we both got in trouble. hah, good times, good times. no, i didn't stab her?! in fact, she's very good friends with mr. mew and the grumpen, thank you very much! a friend of my kitties is a friend of mine!"

dust: "she's nice. her type of energy is something you only see is like... a sugar-rushed ink, and killer normally. but anyways, swap's a good help around the school. she's a bit ridiculous every now and then with all her "the magnificent swap" and how she's a bit of a showoff, but whatever. aren't we all? anyways, at least the scavenger hunts she makes during school dances are fun."

ToT <3 and we especially especially love the archivists you designed, we are obsessed with the archivists as a type of being(?) ourselves so we love seeing when others come up with ideas about them and, well, yours is one of our favorites. (⁠ᵔ⁠ᴥ⁠ᵔ⁠) the themes of what they collect are super interesting and give us much to think about... crawlies's design also makes us /⁠╲⁠/⁠\⁠╭⁠(⁠•⁠‿⁠•⁠)⁠╮⁠/⁠\⁠╱⁠\ (that's a smiling spider emoticon). we're wondering if you might have any more info on your archivists to share? we'd love to learn more about them... \⁠(⁠๑⁠╹⁠◡⁠╹⁠๑⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♬ no problem if not, hehe, just thanks and hope you do well!!

Oh man, my Archivists, it's been a while since I've visited them, let me see what I remember/saved So first off, my Archivists designs are overall based on the paintings we saw in the show, particularly this one

I used the hats to pick what each of them would be designed after, with Extravaganza's design taking after a sun since suns are stars, just to make him more unique/separate from the other star character, which ended up being Crawlies

This is more a really good coincidence, but I only found these paintings after I'd designed Extravaganza and Blind Spot (all's well that ends well I suppose haha)

The Archivists, despite being siblings, are very detached from each another. Their relationship is more of a co-worker type of thing than anything. They don't hate one another, but they wouldn't really care if one got stranded (cough cough)

Here's some little trivia about them individually (with a couple doodles to boot)

Extravaganza (sun guy):

-Extravaganza was the first one I designed, so one of his "fun facts" is that his nose always faces right. This kinda ended up not being unique to him since it also happened with Blind Spot (moon gal)

-He gets jealous easily. He wants to hoard all that's "unique", so whenever his siblings get something he likes he'll try to get it out of their hands very aggressively. This jealousy sometimes extends to things that are inherent to his siblings like Prevalent's rings

-Because he tends to reject normalcy, he can kinda be like Crawlies in the sense he might move creepily or weirdly. Even in human form, he tends to rotate his head the same way he does in his "abstract" form

-He loves being the center of attention. When the titan war happened, he took on the biggest and brightest form he could, making a spectacle of himself (and continuously getting injured by Titans like an idiot)

Blind Spot (moon gal)

-Her hair was made to resemble a waterfall in abstract form and a cloud in human form. I could argue this is because the sound of water and the cotton-like sensation we picture clouds having fit with her collection's theme but if I'm being honest I just thought it looked neat

-The reason she keeps her eyes closed is because she thinks the comfort that comes from an object/creature is "ruined" if you know what it looks like, since now that you know its appearance, it is all you will think about when you touch it or hear it instead of fully focusing on the sensations

-She has a very calm demeanor, but she's easy to anger. Her coldness makes it easy for her to approach other creatures and evaluate whether she wants them in her collection or not

-She's one of the more dangerous Archivists. If something she finds is not to her liking, she is more prone to opening her eyes. Once she's seen something, she WILL deem it as worthless and destroy it unless one of her siblings has already claimed they want it

-When the Titan war happened, she had her eyes open the entire time

Crawlies (red star guy)

-I decided to base him on a cold star, hence why he's almost completely red (that day I learned the colder the star the warmer the color. Wack)

-Very sneaky guy. Able to slip through undetected almost all the time

-The way I designed his face is so he can have "two noses" and you never really know which is the actual nose, if he has any. This unfortunately didn't translate to his human form

Prevalent (Ringed Planet/Saturn guy)

-They're the only Archivist that went through different names before I could land on one. These names were Pebbles, Commonplace, Trivial and Stamps. Pebbles and Stamps were considered because rocks and stamps are some of the most common collections people tend to make

-Actually on that note they absolutely have a rock collection

-Their eyes look Like That because of being based on a ringed planet. The triangles on their left are also surrogate eyelashes for their left eye, but I couldn't figure out how to translate it to their human form

-They usually get to decide where to go next once they're done with whatever planet they're visiting at the moment

certain relationships changed with the swap such as martlet and starlo / chujin and south sun where martlet and starlo behave as joint parents to clover rather than anything more and chujin and south sun are not incredibly fond of one another because of how different their beliefs are !! okay first things first

a) i am insane

b) i really like clowns

so put these two things together and what do you get?

you get clown rainy of course!!! look at him go!!!

I should probably explain what's going on, so i will! I had made clown rainy... and then sort of made an au centered around that idea, not that i really think of it as any proper au, since it's mostly for oc's and such! with that out of the way i will explain his acts! yippee!

he is a dreamer! a wanderer of the stars, if you will! He does tightrope and trapeze! At least, that's what i think fits him best!

his stage name is the Sleepwalker! very sleepy, very tired, you get the gist! they call him that because he's often mistaken for having his eyes closed on the tightrope, so they think he's "sleepwalking"!

his solo shows are mostly calmer segments, im not sure how to describe it really. usually he has a microphone attached to him, so he may talk to the audience! however, he's usually talking to himself really, but thats what they come for!

Rainy's ramblings are sort of hopeless romantic, but some of the things he says can be comedic as well, it depends really...

his shows are supposed to leave you sighing, if that makes sense! my favorite quote of his is this;

"I hope you don't make fun of me, but i've always wanted to dance amongst the stars... haha, do you think i would be good at it? Oh, if i had a partner with me we could dance on the rings of Saturn, that would so lovely, wouldn't it? ...Oh well, i suppose it's alright, i don't mind dancing alone, the stars are always a witness..."

on another note, he's a duo with Maverick! (because of course he is!)

they are very silly together, a couple of clowns... a clown couple... clowns...

they do various bits together!

though, admittedly, Rainy's favorite bit to do with maverick is to gently smack him in the face, he thinks its hilarious

very silly indeed!

(also! note! yes, i know, rainy's design did quite change a bit, but just know the colored reference is the one i'm going with! as much as i love a good clown, they never cease to make it difficult to draw...)

i should probably note that the au so far has mostly been about them specifically...
