2023 Top BL Fanmeets

In 2023, I was able to continue my international bl fan ways and I had a lot of fun going to several events and getting to meet and greet and re-meet and re-greet some of my absolute favorites. I am definitely hitting picture limit with this one but here are my top bl fanmeets and whatnots

1. My School President Prom Night

Ok, MSP definitely was one of my most pleasant bl surprises of the year. I only started the show because Mark Pakin was in it but the earnestness and charm completely had me hooked, although I still sometimes hear "Hot Wave" in my head and snicker. When the live show was announced, I wanted to go and this event was a trial and tribulation to get a ticket for. Second to PP's for how much I overpaid because of 3rd party ticketers and this one had the unique galling factor that my reseller would only sell me 2 tickets and not one. So Day 1, I arrive, get my goodies and take my seat. The show starts and I was thoroughly impressed by the show. These kids put on a hell of a show and I have been to somewhere around 10 GMMTV live concerts and MSP was easily the best one. And because I ended up with two tickets it meant I got 2 photos with the cast. So after I took my first one, the staff moved me to the end of the photo line for my second one. In the immediate moment, I thought this was really inefficient and an inconvience to me because the goodbye sessions for these events are long. LONG. VERY, VERY LONG. But me going through twice and being the last fan to get a picture with the cast meant that when the boys saw me again they knew the fan portion was over, so they were so excited and energized to see me again and they laughed after I said now we could all go home. My two tickets were for Day 1 but I was still in Bangkok for Day 2 but didn't wanna go sit in the venue again but still wanted to hear it, so I bought a virtual ticket for Day 2 and I got the ticket with a raffle chance to win a video call with a ship from the show. I bought 2, one for MarkFord and one for Gem4th and I ended up winning the video call with MarkFord, so I was hella elated. Fast forward a month or so and I'm sitting in a zoom lobby for like half an hour and then suddenly I get moved into a zoom room and I see Mark and Ford and then they see me and have a big reaction and are exclaiming something but I hadn't connected to the audio yet but when I do they're like "it's you again!" and the commotion causes Gemini to come over and he sees me and goes roughly "hey bro, I remember you bro, I love you bro!" and then I have one of the fastest minutes of my life chatting with more Ford because of his comfort with English but it was great and I wore a sleeveless sweater vest and they commented on it and I said I was repping TwiPor and it was really great moment. So with both a fucking really great concert, a funny meet and greet/photo op story, and a bonus video call with the actor that got me into the show, MSP Prom Night takes my very coveted number 1 BL fanevent of 2023. Also! This happened in the spring and for Beluca Manila (winter) fans there recognized me from my last picture with the group and the boys energy at my reappearance. Really cute.

2. PP Krit ~ Lit and Glitter

My number 2 favorite show of the year was PP's first solo show Lit and Glitter. I Told Sunset About You is still my favorite Thai series and a good number of the staff at Cape Pawna Resort (Oh-Aew's house) know me by name and sight because everytime I got to Thailand, I work in a trip to Phuket. My very first BL fanevent ever was BKPP's Last Twilight in the Park. So when I saw the announcement of PP's first solo concert, this was half my anchor event for my spring trip. I can't remember if this was announced before My Beautiful Man Eternal but either way, I wanted to go real bad. It was another trial and tribulation to get a ticket for PP's show and............................ it was so damn difficult. Really fucking difficult. The scammers were out and tried very hard to deceive me but I perserved and found what I hoped was a legit seller and ended up with tickets to both nights of PP's show. Lit and Glitter was my first Thai show of that trip and it rivals MSP Prom Night for highest production value and budget (I presume). One of my irl bl besties is also a huge fan, so I got merch for us both and one of my newly made bl twitter friends who was instrumental in getting me connected to a legit reseller ended up sick and not being able to go so I got her merch as well. PP's show was amazing. It was fun, it was cunty, Billkin sang Alicia Keys with him and they both cried their way through their duets and I was tearing up too. I met a lot of fans and had some great conversations with people. It was a whole ass vibe. I luckily ended up being the first fan to get a picture with PP for the goodbye session, so I got a little more time on stage with him while they were finalizing the camera and whatnots. I lived in Hollywood/LA for a few years and that coupled with my travels and adventures I have been fortunate enough to meet many celebs I admire and people I find hella fucking attractive. Having around 1 minute of eye contact and smiles and polite conversation with PP Krit was easily a top 3 celeb moment of my life. The bambi eyes and just aura of that beautiful human being! Incredible. If I didn't luck my way into that vid call with MarkFord, this would be my number 1. It was an amazing show and the meet and greeting with PP was a true fucking delight. A friend I made in line was kind enough to take a video of my meet and greet and it's something I show all the damn time.

3. Gun and Friends events aka GMMTV Fanday in Osaka, Beluca Manila, and Starlympics

Ok so like, Gun is literally my number 1 GMMTV actor and this year I've gotten to see him many times and have been blessed to have so many little moments and conversations and jokes and smiles and amazing times, it's been so fucking incredible. Anytime I go to an event with Gun, it always becomes Gun (and maybe another person) and friends because Gun is my number 1. BUT I have always said at least "hi/hello/nice to see ya (again)" to Off and he and I have had some fun jokes too at my many appearances at their events. My number 2 GMMTV actor is Tay Tawan so when they started doing this Beluca (OffGun TayNew joint collab concert series) series, it was definitely on my radar and I was happy to see some shows were scheduled when I was already wanting to be back in Asia and I just keep having great moments with them. Last year, I went to Love Out Loud Fest and that was the first time I saw them in person on stage (along with BrightWin and KristSingto) but this year I got to get meet and greet and have hi touches and convos with Gun and Tay (and New and Off). Started my bl fan year with Gun, Mix, and friends in Osaka and ended my bl fan year with Gun, Tay, and friends in Manila. So like I've won as a Gun fan. And damn it all to hell, if Tay Tawan isn't a troll and tease. I ended up with 3 pictures/hi touches at Beluca Manila and after my first walk through, Tay would always make some joke at me and also laugh because I kept hoping I'd be in front of Gun and would say as much in jest to him as I ended up in front of him/Tay twice. OffGun and TayNew are veterans at fanmeets and so professional yet entirely engaging and fun to be around. Beluca in Manila was definitely the hypest crowd and best emceed bl event I've ever been to - absolute biggest shout out to Mela Habijan for being the best fucking host, she kept the energy up and also told the crowd (politely) to stfu at times so we could all hear the answers and translations [sidenote: these events can be so wild and chaotic and overwhelming at times, so literally it was incredible and refreshing to have an emcee who could keep that energy high and focused and occassionally quelled without ruining/harshing the vibes, masterful!]. Also also, shout out to @seinehsh for giving me blessing to use their incredible GramBlack fanart. I printed it out for my first time meeting Gun. I wish I could have gotten it signed but so far none of my Gun events have had the opportunity for a signing. With these events, so much of my fun and moments come from just utterly chance encounters, like me being in the exact right position to get an extra conversation or chat in crossing while the actors are being moved around. Or my position in line letting be right next to Gun (Osaka) or near enough to Gun for some chats (Manila). Now, I do have tickets for the next Beluca show in Taipei and this week they announced a Gun solo show which shouldfit in my schedule but I need to get a visa (actually lemme start the application today lol). So hopefully I will luck my way into more amazing memories with my number 1 and number 2 gmmtv actors. When talking with fans at these events, I was called "the American" and "the Gun fanboy" - really cute. And at Beluca Manila, fans recognized me from MSP Prom night 9 months prior.

4. About Us But Not About Us movie screening

Gameboys is what got me into BLs (and somewhat back on tumblr/twitter) and my love and devotion for Gameboys, The IdeaFirst Company, and specifially Elijah and Kokoy are so damn deep. Gameboys is what inspired my first international trip and my luck and opportunities have gone into overdrive when it comes Gameboys and Elijah and Kokoy. Last year, I unexpectedly got to meet Elijah when he came to a screening for his Blue Room movie (picture on my shirt) and that had so many amazing moments and lead to the absolutely wildest week of my life. Also the Gameboys and Elijah and Kokoy fanclubs have been really good to me and helped me a lot when it comes to getting invited or a heads up about these events. I've been able to meet and have really lovely conversations with Elijah and his parents so when I arrived to the theater for the About Us screening, they saw me over the crowd (I'm tall) then Elijah and his parents had the funniest reactions to my shirt. It was so cool and touching they remembered me and we always talk like we're dear friends and it's just really awesome. Gameboys and Elijah and Kokoy are just my whole ass heart and anytime I get to see Elijah, it's the coming home feeling. My lil pogi best actor. <3

5. KaownahTurbo DP DANCE STUDIO “HELLO & GOODBYE charity showcase 2023”

My other "fan luck pushed to the max" actors are Kaownah and Turbo. These two have been so kind to me and their fanclubs have been amazing and their management staff have been amazing to me. It's just incredible. I've had so many lengthy and meaningful conversations with them, it's astonishing to me. Them remembering me by face, sure, I stand out at these events, but they remembered my name unprompted and during one of the after fanevents, they specifically looked around and asked for me by name because they didn't want me to get left out of a group photo. Like these are my dudes and we always have a good time when we chat. Turbo did also give me a bit of a teaser after this event about The Campfire/My Universe and that was cool getting a lil tea from an actor directly.

SantaEarth:

I saw them twice this year and the second time I was able to stay focused and have a cool chat with Earth and tell him how much him being out and open meant to me as a queer fan and it was really touching. I also told him I hope his next character is happy and he said "yes, finally I got it" so there will be at least one not traumatized character for him - we'll see how true that ends up being. And Santa, I told him I can't wait to see him as a vampire and he laughed and thanked me.

FirstKhaotung - I saw them in Brazil. Made some great friends. Went with my irl bl bestie and that was a lot of fun having company to witness all these shenanigans energy of a bl fanmeet. I asked First his favorite Beyonce song and he said Single Ladies and I told Khao the voices in my head say he's really cute too and First laughed hard and Khao laughed and got so shy, it was super endearing.

My Beautiful Man s2/eternal - so these "events" were so random and not necessarily fan events. The one opportunity I had for a fan meeting with Yusei, I didn't win. I did structure my spring trip around seeing the movie and the special edit and I did end up winning a raffle to go to a special themed dinnner for the movie at a really cool cafe. And it was my first time in Tokyo proper and I went to a lot of the filming sites for the show.

Starlympics - so I mentioned Starlympic above with Gun and in addition to him, I did get to see what felt like the full might and breadth of the GMMTV bl and gl actor armada. Highlights would be: seeing Neo and Mond and Great and Ohm in person for the first time, watching some questionably athletic people try to be athletic to varying degrees of success, watching some athletic people go super try hard mode (Neo and Fourth), watching what appeared to be some truly uninterested people do their mandatory miminum effort to say they participated (Gun and Mix and KhaoFirst), just observing a lot of the actors chill and hang out with their work friends. And then it was like a 3 hour music medley from basically everyone. Starlympics was definitely a showcase of "GMMTV can field a literal army so who can challenge us." Oh and yeah, watching Tay do his best to not get in Mark's way during the Badminton match, you better believe I wanna tease him about it in Taipei next weekend.

I got into kpop through a couple friends at the beginning of 2020, and then a few months later I saw some interviews with Baekhyun and then it was all over for me haha. He's been my bias from the beginning.

Cream Soda was my first Exo comeback with stages so it was definitely my favorite comeback this year too! But I also love any SHINee comeback (who's your SHINee bias?) and I ADORE Kyungsoo's new album. Exo is probably my #1 right now but I also follow SHINee, WayV, Pentagon and a few others.

We seem to have pretty similar tastes then! Do you like cheese? Yeah but not to an obsessive extent like most people on the internet seem to be. I have a lower tolerance when it comes to cheeses with stronger or more pungent flavors, and I like sticking to those on the creamy side, like feta and burrata.

What is your opinion on blueberries? As a flavor, it’s fine. 2. When did you take your default picture? It’s not a photo of me, it’s a still from BoJack Horseman. Years ago I saw someone on Twitter use it as a default and I found it hilarious, so I decided to do the same thing for this blog.

22. What are some details about your first kiss? Innocent, pure. Even though that person ended up disappointing me, I don’t regret having my first kiss with them.

After a ~315 day drought without new music and a comeback from the legends, we are finally back with MOTS: 7! It been a hot minute since ive done a album review (solely for myself LMAO) so lets get back into it bc this album is a home run

Interlude: Shadow. Here we have the extended version of the interlude. can i just say that the lyrics to this masterpiece are so real and true. its not suga speaking nor is it agust d, this is min yoongi speaking of his internal conflict with the celebrity life, which is heartbreaking. on another note, the visuals of the mv are stunning and the ending--dont u just wanna go apeshit??? truly a great addition to the album!

Black Swan. sister black swan has been with us for a month-ish now? it still bumps. HARD. i blasted this to and from my drive to work to the point where i was scared if id get sick of the song but that didnt happen. the way how its hard to pinpoint when and where a member would sing/rap because they INTENTIONALLY wanted the voices to blend as if they were one body. this is the group’s narrative on how no matter how passionate one is on a certain craft, when they lose that drive, its like a death. and it is up to themselves to spark that love and interest once again. a very relatable story across various media, talents, skills, etc.

Filter. When I first heard that this was a jimin solo showcasing the many sides of Jimin, i thought that it was going to be a sad ballad to kind of follow the theme mots: 7 seemed to give off; thought that it would talk about how he has to force personas onto himself to appeal to the masses, but it is the complete opposite. Jimin is all the faces he puts on, he can be cute, sweet, and caring Jimin but he is also a sexy, flirty young man that can attract any living being. how he switches from falsettos to a lower register voice is beyond me, what a versatile one he is! <3

My Time. Moving onto jungkook’s solo, I knew the lyrics were going to be sad especially when it seems to compare himself to others his age. How he speaks about how fast time runs for him, how his childhood and current life is not of the average 22 year old (LIKE UM HERE I AM, SAME AGE AS JUNGKOOK AND IM NORMAL AF while he’s out here breaking records?? WOW). but the life of jungoo can be a bit overwhelming, completely understandable. I just want our boi JK to know that he can be himself and live freely despite such different circumstances. On another note, the groove of this track is so GOOD. it reminds me of Ari and ugh i LIVE for this jam

Louder Than Bombs. When the track started, I could totally tell Troye Sivan helped produce it, it has such a unique sound that only Troye would use. It sounds like this song would totally be on a movie soundtrack IDK WHY. like, i can picture it during an apocalypse movie sldkjg im not completely sure what the meaning is to the song (bc im big stupid) but i feel like its a track saying that no matter the struggles, they will continue to sing confidently, strongly, and wholly to us endlessly. beautiful, just beautiful.

ON. Moving on to the title track of MOTS: 7! I’m very picky about strong anthem-type songs but ON is actually p addicting HAHA There’s a background sound that repeats in the back that sounds like Sans from Undertale, aint that wild LMAO but anyways, the Manifesto Film was crazy good. The drums, the band, the breakdown of it all? UNBELIEVABLE. Also, JK’s vocals during the bridge? H O W. That breakdown tho...oof, that was amazing. They still dance with the thirst that rookie bts would and i think thats why ppl are so drawn to them no matter how many years pass. Fun fact: the choreographer of ON as well as Dionysus actually is from my city in Hawaii and we went to the same high school THATS WILD. the talent she holds!

UGH! Rap line ATE this shit, are we KIDDING. An ode to all the hate comments that we receive, u can see how fed up they are. They made POINTS and we all agree, its the damn law. The way how they opened up with a gunshot, we knew it was coming. Everyone joked about how we bout to hear some gunshots on this album, well they threw ALL of it on this track. Can i just say that Hobi’s verse tho? it hits different, it really do. When they went “ahem, ahem. ahem, ahem-ahem, YOUR AHEM. AHEM-AHEM--” OOOOOUGH i felt that shit!! god, imagine this in concert...the building aint ready!

0:00 (Zero O’ clock). Now we have the vocal line track, we knew they were bout to present some vocals. Great sound, slow and reflecting. Not the first track I’d listen to but it is a great listen. The lyrics tho get to me. The way how they comfort us and say that life can be rough but you can be happy. no matter what happens, with the turning of the clock to 0:00, its a brand new day and we can make the day better. what a powerful message that all of us need to hear once in a while. we will be happy guys, we deserve to be.

Inner Child. Tae’s solo which is a message to his young self. I expected a slow ballad filled with his warm vocals reminiscent of Winter Bear, 4 o’ clock, and Scenery but boi was I wrong. He has this sunset glow voice that wraps u so warmly and the sound is just so happy, pure, and innocent. Its a hopeful message to his younger self on how we will change and be the amazing person we want to or will be. I was sobbing at this song, I tell u. It was 2:00 am in the morning and I was sobbing into my pillow. Imagine comforting your past self that everything will be okay and to take ur hand, it will be all worth it in the end. When he sang “ur my boy, my boy, my boy, my boy!” Ugh...the tears!

Friends. When I heard this was a vmin duet expressing their friendship with each other, I knew it was going to be so emotional! I didn’t expect such a fun, poppy sound tho. They truly are soulmates, the love they have for each other is so wholesome and real, it truly exhibits the love I have for my friends--they’ve been with me through thick and thin, during happy and sad times; the amounts of serotonin they give me is just HHHH. The way how Tae and Jimin have been friends since high school until now is just ugh...we love it. Towards the end when they started singing “you are my soulmate!” towards each other, i started sobbing so hard because WOW. the shivers i felt, this song made me so happy and full! 

Moon. Next we have Jin’s solo which is an ode to us army’s. And on another perspective, this is a song from the moon (jin) to the Earth (army)--i have tears in my eyes. The lyrics especially got me in a chokehold and made me sob, the way how he says that he will always be by our side no matter what, the same way how we are there for him...god. The chorus really gets to me, it feels so happy and thankful and I just want to tell Jin that I will forever follow him and the boys. They’ve been with me for years now and I will continue to support, love, and listen to them. Ily to the moon and back, our moon.

Respect. I didn’t expect a Namgi duet but HERE WE ARE. Goddd when i heard that i was SO EXCITE. They’ve known each other for +10 years now and they never miss the chance to tell everyone that they’ve been friends for that long. Not @ how they disliked each other at first but grew to be so mf close, to the point where their family. Ughhh, im so uwu rn. Im so happy, so so happy that Nams started it with AYO SUGA; i SCREAMED. Also, i heard that they recorded it in one take and i could see how much fun they had--especially considering that their rap styles are completely different. Even tho in the song they joke about not knowing what the word Respect means, we know...we just KNOW the high amounts of respect they have for each other. As they mentioned before, Yoon’s respects towards Nams’ leadership and care towards everyone and Nams’ respect towards Yoon’s love and passion for music and producing. Peak comedy is Yoongs overloading on autotune during his parts to the point where its intentional. Bless Namgi.

We are Bulletproof: The Eternal. I felt like a CLOWN when this track started. Like everyone, i thought we were going to have a third installment similar to that of the strong, hip-hop, gunshot-filled part 1 and 2 of we are bulletproof, but we were met with soft vocals and rap. The lyrics tho get to me. This truly was a song about their entire journey and i felt like I experienced all years with them. They’ve been through so much and the way how they sang “we are we are together/forever bulletproof!” They are proud of where they came from and it has stuck with them till now. They are such real people...i cry. ALSO the “We were only seven, but we have you all now.” Whenever i see pictures of their debut fanmeets/concerts vs now its just crazy. imagine singing as an entire being during concerts when they start “OOOOH OH OHH” im so immensely proud of the feats they’ve reached and im excited on what they do next! <3

Outro: Ego. The way how he started it with the fitness gram pacer test just like in previous albums, ugh what a throwback! this song is such a Hobi track, its fun, dance-inducing and its just so FEEL GOOD. the way how he switches flows and is capable of doing so is *chef’s kiss* the way how he speaks about the path he takes is difficult but he doesnt regret it...SOBS also the mv??? UGH SO CUTE. the flashbacks too;; i cry

ON (feat. Sia). With this track, there’s not much extra I can say, all my opinions still stand with the original track wit ot7. I jokingly told my friend that if Sia is gonna be on the track “hey nanana’ing” the same why Halsey was only “oh my my my’ing” i will ctfu. and...welp, that was what happened. I do love Sia tho so props to her!

Overall: I initially thought that MOTS: 7 was going to be a dark, ballad-filled album but it was anything but. It had so much fun songs, the lyrics are again, so deep and meaningful--it pulls at your heartstrings. It felt so raw, personal, emotional, and i love it in all its being. The boys will continue to amaze me no matter what they put out and i forever and endlessly will support and love them the same way they do for us. MOTS: 7 is a masterpiece and im in love

JANUARY 2019 DIMENSIONS ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULES & REVIEW

Overall Company

This month is mostly about regrouping on the executive level and finalizing how to go forward in 2019 with some recent unexpected changes under the company. Money is still tight, but Dimensions has stacked the beginning of 2019 heavy with comebacks to reflect on the respective comebacks’ successes (or failures) and plan the rest of the year around who is most profitable. It’s no secret to the idols under the company that their next comeback, regardless of who they are, needs to go well.

January 10: Meeting for company artists and those who work directly with them (managers, PR, etc.) headed by creative director Choi Dongwook. Dimensions Entertainment’s mission statements and overall plans for 2019 will be delivered.

Various dates: In a tradition started last year, by the direction of creative director Choi Dongwook, all artists will meet with both in-house producers and Choi Dongwook himself to discuss the styles of music they’d like to pursue in 2018. No promises are made that their wishes will be met, but Choi Dongwook would like to keep open a clear line of communication.

Dimensions Soloist 1

2018 was an amazing year for her, and so the beginning of a new year mainly brings around the end of award show attendances and performances for her and a New Year’s fansign. The company views her very favorably now, so to reward her, they’ve granted her a semi-vacation, including permission to take a trip if she desires to, excluding her aforementioned schedules

Some of the performances will be filmed and uploaded to Dimensions’ Youtube to keep his fans engaged and to hype up a hopeful first concert for him in 2019.

The group will hold a special showcase for fans a day earlier than the album release and press showcase to build hype, and will also shoot a photo spread for BNT International’s February issue.

Alien

Their next comeback is planned for March, and after testing more proactive American promotions with Unity’s most recent comeback, Dimensions has decided to invest in giving Alien a push of American promo with their next comeback and connecting them with an American publicity team. This means the members are being pushed into English classes and/or additional media training this month alongside finishing recording songs for their album.

This month’s comeback is a bit different from what MARS has done before in sound, but Dimensions has hired some of the trendiest choreographers and has taken on some new stylists for MARS’ team in hopes of switching things up just enough to keep fans’ interest. They’ll be preparing for a future fanmeeting throughout January, but they’ll also be doing the normal promotional rounds with music shows and radio shows. Three members of the group will also go on Hello Counselor this month, while the other three go on Radio Star, each as representatives of the full group.

To capitalize on the astounding success of 7ROPHY’s latest mini-album, Dimensions has them filming and releasing a short weekly “daily life” reality show on Youtube so that their new fans can more easily grow attached to their personalities.The filming will be set in their dorm and around Seoul in ordinary places like coffee shops and grocery stores to promote the concept of the group being like a close friend (or a girlfriend) to the audience. This month, members are encouraged to film solo self-cams (with a manager present) visiting some of their favorite places in Seoul. A comeback single has also been approved for March, so there’s a lot of pressure on the members to deliver a similar success to their last release.

Unity

"Simon Says” promotions begin in the middle of the month, but on top of that, the members are preparing for their first major concert tour, the first dates of which will occur in Seoul in March before they then embark on a round of concerts in Japan. The members will each be assigned a specific date within the first two weeks of the month to conduct an hour-long solo V Live to connect with fans and hype up the repackage. The topic of the V Live is up to the members as long as it’s appropriate and passes approval by managers. A full group V Live will occur on the morning of the album release as well, and all V Lives will be monitored by at least one manager in the room.

Lucid

To bid adieu to their initial dark concept “nightmare” trilogy, the members are will be embarking on the beginning of their first tour this month in Japan and Brazil, markets that have responded the most positively to the first half of Lucid’s concept. Lucid will be performing several of their own songs, plus a few covers. In addition, during the Europe leg of the tour, which will occur at the very beginning of February, each member will be given the opportunity to do a solo cover stage, as long as it has low production value (no extravagant concepts or stage decorations), which the members will be rehearsing for this month. The second half of their concept is expected to bring in more of a domestic audience, so Dimensions hopes this tour will help the group connect with international fans before focusing in on the Korean market this year. Most of the month, while Lucid is in Seoul, they’ll be finishing shooting the photojackets for their album and finally filming the music video for their title track that will be released next month.

LIFE UPDATE!!!!

I just got back travel from SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA! it feels so nice... can’t wait to go back there next year... yea i always motivate myself to visit SK once in a year or more... but when i got my VISA pandemic came... i am so glad that i could make it in 2022 after they lifted travel ban.

I promised myself to at least be an intermediate in korean if i want to go back, it was difficult to travel by yourself without someone who understand the language. I travelled with my friend but neither both of us fluent in korean, it was sucks, i mean they really treat you well if you speak korean.. i know it was because they are afraid to tell something wrong, that’s why i need to improve my korean skills..

it was a new experience for me, i travelled to seoul alone ... i went to vietnam first for transit.. i was having anxiety lmao you know it’s really far and you don’t have anyone around you... my friend came D+1 after i actually arrived. This is really foreign country i thought i knew it so much because of FANGIRLING but turned out i really just lost on the day i arrived.

i was really having anxiety because i need to go to the concert venue the day i just arrived, like it took more than a day to safely arrived in seoul and i needed to be at the venue on 4 PM? i was just arrived on 8AM... 

The moment i arrived, no i was just like i want to go back home, this is really a FOREIGN COUNTRY which i can’t fully understand their language... i can speak english in here.. i did not know how to get myself to THE HOTEL.... i could not get the T MONEY because i only had 50,000 KRW money, the first thing i bought was banana milk i asked the cashier “do you sale T MONEY “ but he left me on silent:) ok so i need to go back to the vending machine, IT WAS ERROR... i went back up and down through the station like some kind of idiots and then i decided to go out and grab a taxi... SMHHHHHHHHHH it was really cold, and even when i got the taxi the driver can’t even speak english, i was using all my knowledge in korean drama or when i watch my idols contents, GLADLYYY the driver told me my korean was good (NO WAAAY I MIGHT BE PRETEND to understand him) 

I arrived at the hotel but they say it was not the time, so i walked around .. bought lunch, T -MONEY, try to learn how to rain a train.... the last thing i remember visiting seoul it was really easy but i wanted to do was crying on that day.. it was hard... the METRO LINE was so hard... i can’t even find my hotel back everytime i went out from the station... did not pay attention for which exit i should take... 

I did not have time to rest, i only slept in the plane and i straight went to concert venue, LMAOOO seoul was too crowded.. really everyone is living in a fast pace.. idk but i got motivate living like this... so after an hour figuring out the train lane and asking my online friend finally this is really.. my college wishes.. i wanted to cry for god sake, i went to boygroup called The Boyz fanmeeting, i knew i was dying to watch SEVENTEEN in this venue when i was in college but, YEAAAYSH they come to indonesia again so i don’t need to come to KR at least......and that i decided to came to other boygroup and i can’t wait until next year to travelling again my mind was really in A BAD STATE so i guess whomever the group is as long as they are my favs i will be happy. DREAMS CAME TRUE.... will make sure i come back next year again for both of my favs group.

I can’t forget this was amazing, went to concert in the middle of winter alone and in a foreign country, so maybe this is really my youth...

anyway im going back later, there are a lot of works tha i have postponed too long, and on 28 im going to seventeen concert again, wish me luck , that i won’t be crying

The company concerts last month brought in good profits and good media coverage and the court battle with Goeun has been kept out of the media for the first part lately (partially in thanks to BC’s own meddling), the hit taken from losing a member from one of their girl groups is fading at an optimistic rate.

Reminder: Following the news of the lawsuit with Goeun, BC has made it clear to all idols under them that speaking about the lawsuit publicly (be it through interviews, variety shows, or social media) is strictly prohibited.

Some posts on Pann and other fan platforms have gotten a lot of traction recently accusing BC of sexism due to their treatment of BEE compared to the company’s other senior groups Decipher and Knight. It’s not a big talking point with the general public, but BC doesn’t want fans to blow it up into anything too big since it could drag other issues they’re trying to bury back into the spotlight. A lot of talk is happening among the higher ups, but “a lot of talk” is about all the members know.

Focus is on recordings for their next album this month. This album is the company’s real push for award season since their releases earlier in the year haven’t performed as well in sales and impact as they’d like to be competitive for the number of daesangs Knight usually gets. Some of the songs were cut from earlier albums and saved for this one, so the recording load isn’t as big as usual, and the music video for the title track will be filmed in the first half of the month before the b-sides are completely finished recording. BC is aiming for an October comeback so that they can fit in a repackage before the end of the year.

*Their image with the public has been steadily improving and there’s talk they may be permitted to move out of their dorm after this comeback and repackage if this continues.

Plans for a tour are moving forward and are in the planning phases.

WISH

September brings the end of music show promotions for their summer comeback, and with it, the end of their WISHland Zone 2 tour. WISH should be used to one cycle of promotions simply meaning the start of a new one, though, and so it goes, with their Japanese promotions and arena tour beginning as they also continue work on another Korean album, which will be released before the end of the year..

20 yr old Jungkook, at the top of his idol boyband career, has a secret only he & his bandmates know – An underground relationship, with you, a girl he met at a fanmeeting. Things get a little out of hand and you find out you’re pregnant.

Under thick white covers, Jimin frowned on hearing the doorbell ring continuously.

It was Jin at the door, bringing breakfast on a tray, knowing he had slept in and missed the buffet line.

"Ah... hyung.... Why didnt you let me sleep a little more.." Jimin grumbled as he rubbed his eyes on seeing Jin at his hotel room door.

"Yah!! You brat, I even bothered to bring food for you because of your bad sleeping habits and is this what you say to me!? " he rambled in mock anger, pushing pass the dazed Jimin and kicking the door shut with his foot.

Like a mom, he set the tray down and pulled apart the curtains to let the sunshine in, making the sleepy Jimin wince even more.

Clad in a white bathrobe, Jimin took a sip of coffee and smiled at the smell of food. Jin sat comfortably beside, watching him munch, feeling happy that the younger one was being fed. In his usual nonchalant way, he started a morning topic for conversation.

"So did the girl get home safely?"

Jimin choked on his hot coffee as he spilt some on his exposed thighs, making him jump in shock and make a mess on himself.

"Ah.. How did you know, hyung?"

Jin smiled smugly, "What don't I know?"

Passing a napkin to Jimin, he continued.

"I saw you rushing out late last night when I was about to sleep and wondered where you went. Then I remembered that Jungkook was going to meet the girl. I figured he'd got into some trouble again so I stayed up just in case."

Jimin put the cup away and looked apologetic. "Sorry hyung, I should have told you so you wouldn't worry. Anyway, she fainted and we had to take her back here, until she woke up. Speaking of which, I should check on Jungkook...."

He stretched across the bedside to grab his phone.

The sun shone through the window and hit me right on my face. It was barely a few hours since I thought I fell asleep. I could feel pockets of the chilly air and movements of the thick covers over me.

Struggling to lift the lids of my eyes, I was greeted with a familiar scent and silhouette of Chae-rin.

WAIT, WHAT?

My eyes sprang open only to be verified by her brown fluffy hair right below my chin. My head instinctively turned left and right to figure out how this happened.

My room - check.

My side of the bed - check.

My clothes still on my body - check.

Where were those pillows I put up between us??

She felt my arm trying to move, from under a pillow she had her head on, and groaned a little in discomfort.

"Arraseo, arraseo.." I cooed back understanding that it was a wrong move. I paused for awhile, void of thought, just making sure she was still asleep as she seemed like she was snuggling deeper into the warmth of the covers and source of it which was....... Yes, my body.

I could only gasp feeling the length of her body almost flushed against mine.

By now I was wide awake, biting my lips to stay silent and take in what was happening.

Here I am, Jeon Jungkook, the idol that can't even maintain eye contact with female idols on stage, on the bright morning of the first day of a BTS concert, lying on my bed with a girl I just met, cuddled against me beneath the covers.

Had this happened with any one else, I'd have probably jumped out of my skin in fear, shock, and detest. After all, a girlfriend and love interest was the last thing on my mind. Right at the peak of my career, a distraction is the last thing I'd need. The hyungs and I mutually agreed that we wouldn't date until we have finally carved a name for ourselves globally, committing to each other, swearing by the hard work and sacrifices we've made over the many years. I mean, we've come so far and we've only just achieved some recognition and ---

"Uh..!"

I was startled as I felt her head roll onto my chest with a dull thud. She would have woken up with the impact but she simply didn't.

I found myself smiling gently to be waking up with someone other than the hyungs by my side and it was such a strangely exhilarating yet comforting feeling.

Chae-rin ah.... Why do you make my heart beat so fast?

As if she could hear me, she inched even closer again, adjusting herself more comfortably against my torso.

Something in me just told me to hold her - and so, I gave in, and I did.

It was the most wonderful, peaceful, blissful feeling in the world and my heart beat even faster when I realised how perfectly bodies could fit together like puzzles. Since one of my arms was already under her head, pulling her into a close embrace didn't take much moving.

To my surprise, that woke her up.

I was going to back away, unsure if she would be too close for comfort and suddenly feeling embarrassed with myself at the whole situation, when I felt her lifting her chin to meet my eyes.

(Chae-rin's POV)

I was getting warm and wondered how this bed could be made so comfortable for a winter's sleep. It almost seemed like I was hugging a heated bolster through the night. In my faint memory, I saw Jungook lying beside me - it had to be a dream.

But heck, it was a nice dream. In my dream he had a plain white shirt that looked like they were part of the covers and bedsheets, sleeping soundly like a little angel. He'd tell me it's okay and cuddle me back to sleep.

mmmmmmm.... how nice..... I'll just indulge in this dream a bit more......

I realised it was getting a little TOO warm now and it seemed the heated bolster was holding onto me instead. Was I too close to the heater?

I opened my eyes trying to see where I was but all that I saw was white.

Did I die? No wait, I was in Jungkook's room and he was bathing. Oh, I should get going before the sun rises.

I looked up and saw the source of my warmth - the bright round eyes and sharply chiseled nose.

Why is this dream so realistic?

I felt a little constrained and my body seemed trapped by a tight but comfortable grip. I blinked again and felt the grip loosen itself.

"Am I awake?" I found myself blurting out my thoughts.

He smiled, slightly amused and surprised.

"I'm not sure." he said.

It was messing with my head too much for everything looked like a dream that was too surreal but at the same time it felt like my imagination. I must have been deep in sleep to be struggling so hard to come to my senses - or so I thought.

"Do you like me?" Again, my thoughts had blurted themselves out without my knowledge, completely fearless.

He paused for a moment.

"Uh? What do you think?" he asked, eyes turning into little smiley crescents.

"I'm not sure but I do." I answered as a factual response.

I gave up on trying to wake up from the dream since it was futile. I mean, I was already talking and responding but I just wasn't waking up at all.

His smile was the cutest thing I'd ever seen in any of my dreams.

Then without notice, he lunged towards my face and with some great precision, landed his thinly soft lips on mine.

Suddenly, it dawned on me.

This was REAL.

Out of shock, I clenched my jaw and backed away in realisation at what was REALLY going on.

Jimin started texting Jungkook while continuing with their morning topic.

"Hyung...  about last night...  Jungkookie...."

"Uh-huh?" Jin looked up from his breakfast to see Jimin's other hand poking around his food with a fork.

"It seemed that he was serious about her." Jimin was concerned at how the youngest had never been in a relationship and a million consequences his clumsiness at this would bring.

Jin put down his cutlery and leaned back against the armchair, with a 'OK-Son-Now-Talk-To-Me' face, "And.... What problem do you think might come out of that?"

"I'm not sure hyung but I'm not sure if he's ready to handle the backlash of paparazzi and you know how hugely popular he is with the fangirls..."

Jin pouted for abit as he gave it some thought.

"Well... he doesn't have to go public anyway."

"AH Hyung!!! What are you talking, are you encouraging the golden maknae to be dating in secret?"

"Jimin-ah, don't say it as if you've never done it."

Jimin's eyes grew wide, "I DIDN'T!! AND YOU KNOW IT!"

Jin just rolled his eyes and nodded an 'as-if' back at the dramatic denial. "Yeah-yea. What I'm saying is, Jungkook's already 20 years old this year, he's an adult and it's his life now if he wants to date someone he likes. Shouldn't you be happy for him? I am!"

"Well.... I mean, if you put it that way, then I'm happy of course, he's such a cutie pie, it's hard not to love him I'm sure. So I guess we're on the same side as he is on this then... not sure about the others."

Jin pat Jimin on the shoulders, "We'll worry about that when that time comes. For now, let's just help him along in his growing years like how we always have. Give him a chance to grow up like how you did too."

You finally realised you were enclosed in the arms of Jungkook, his face a breath away after he pulled away from the gentle kiss of the morning. In complete tension, your folly of words came back to haunt you as flashes of what you THOUGHT was a dream, played out in fast forward.

"I'm sorry, I.... I..... " Jungkook saw the petrified look on your face as a growing red blush appeared all over your cheeks.

He smiled again, amused that you'd turn red so quickly before his eyes.

You decided you had to put some breathing space between the both of you as you bit your lips and slowly turned away, pulling the covers along with you, covering your shy face.

"Hey here here, where are you going now?" He cooed gently after you, letting you roll slowly to the end of the bed.

Before you could roll off, he got up and crouched over you, stopping you at the edge of the bed with his arm. In a swift swoop, he had you scooped up towards him, as he sat cross-legged on the middle of the bed. Your head lay on his lap, and all you could think of was how he could look so hot in the morning with a bed head of tousled hair, from the view of his nostrils.

He had to be an international playboy of some standard. As much as you felt attracted to him, heart pounding and cheeks burning, you weren't interested to be involved with someone who wouldn't think twice about you.

"I should go, Jungkook." You mumbled under the covers.

"You don't really have to, you can stay, until I'm back."

"No," you frowned at that thought. "I'm not a hotel night escort, Jungkook."

"TTT-That's not what I meant~!!" he was a little flustered.

"I don't know how often you do this but, this isn't quite appropriate for me." You had phrased your words carefully.

"It's not what you're imagining!" At once, he pulled you up from his lap, letting you sit upright to create a safe distance, as he too understood what you meant. He definitely pulled some wrong cards from being a little too close, too soon and it didn't work for him like how he'd imagine things to be - like in the many cute animes and drama's he'd seen.

He was clearly aware that you had misunderstood who he was as he went back into a pensive mode to think things through.

"I'm really not one of those girls who throw themselves at guys, or celebrities, so... I'm sorry too that I overstayed. I really should get going now." You threw off the covers and made your way to the edge of the bed, straightening your hair from the reflection of the window, adjusting your clothes and putting back the pieces of clothing, neatly laid out on the chair nearby. Your heart was pounding a million beats a minute, hoping you could make a quick escape safely.

He watched you silently, getting ready to leave, his mind a blank. He knew it would be the last time he would see you if he let things be. Schedules were going to be crazy from the time he stepped out of the room for the next 2 days until he flew back.

He needed to set things straight, if he wanted to continue things with you.

It was now or never.

"I.... " he took in a sharp breath.

"Noona." he called out, for the first time, hoping to get your attention.

"I..... I gave you my f-f-first kiss."

You looked up in the reflection of the window, only to see him knelt on the covers, gripping the edges of the pillow nervously, his large round eyes in earnest and slight nervousness.

Turning around, you cocked your head to the side, examining him at a distance.

"Really?" You asked, feeling suspicious.

"I...... yeah....."

He continued, after a brief lip bite in shyness. "I've never felt this way before, and I don't know why I did it but I... I.... I'm really not the kind of player you imagine me to be."

You watched him lower his gaze, obviously awkward from the confession he made.

First Kiss? Wow, if this kid was for real, then this really meant something to him.

"You didn't answer my question though." You sent out an equally meek response.

"What question?" He looked up at you with full attention.

If this was a game, you'd think the ball was already in your court.

Walking over to him, you sat by the side of the bed closest to him.

"I asked if you liked me."

Jungkook gapped, his mouth slightly apart.

"I thought I already did." he said.

The tension in the room was overwhelming and the nervousness of the moment was really building up. You could feel the air between both of you come to a standstill. It was a good long 5 seconds of frozen silence to which none of you moved or looked away from each other.

"But I can do it again."

At once, he reached forward, letting his hand fall to the side of where you were sitting, and crouched on all fours. With a woosh, his nose briefly touched yours and he stopped at right before your lips touched.

You shut your eyes and pressed your lips together instinctively.

"Isn't this answer clear enough?" He whispered softly, a little smug, and held his stance until you opened your eyes again.

  In light of their new album Love Yourself and their insane breakthrough in America last year, we’re finally writing about BTS. This group before known as Bangtan Sonyeondan but recently changed the initials to Beyond the Scene, have appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show twice, they have been to the James Corden show and now they’re embarking on a huge world tour. Let’s talk about BTS.

BTS was signed as a 7 member group under BigHit entertainment, they debuted on June 12th, 2013 with the song ‘No More Dream’ and won several awards with their debut song and since then on they continued to rise steadily until winning the Top Social Award at the American Billboard awards in 2017 for their whopping 15 million followers on twitter.

They’re name originates from Bangtan Sonyeondan which translates to Bulletproof Boyscouts. This name was created because they wanted to break the barrier and let nobody stop them from making controversial music. They would block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim on adolescents like bullets and protect the values and ideals of today’s adolescents.

As they’re name suggests their first years are based around boys and girls in school and the hardships they face but which every new chapter (album) they released they’re stepping away from adolescence and when they changed the meaning for the BTS initials to Beyond The Scene; It was clear that they became true adults and are leaving that stage of their life behind.

With the new album this vibe really comes through and you can feel them change and develop.

The group BTS is made out of 7 individuals that each bring their own style and ideas to the group. As BTS cowrites and produces all of their music and some of the group have their own well received solo projects they come together every time and create something unique.

Besides from their lyrics BTS has different strengths in their sound also, they all have their unique sound; Jungkook is the main vocalist and you can hear his clear breathy voice, Jimin has a little bit higher soft voice and usually does the high notes. RM, J-HOPE and Suga are the rappers and each is different. RM does a lot of the english lines and he has a deeper voice than J-HOPE who can rap pretty fast but Suga is the king of rap, spitting fire not many other idols can achieve. (safe from Zelo from BAP). Jin is one of the few members that sing a lot; but when he does hold your horses; it’s beautiful.

Along with their amazing voices they have great choreography. Intricate and different from the things you usually see. Each member has their own way of dancing or moving/carrying themselves but as soon as they get together as one group and dance; it blows your mind. They do a lot of practice videos for ARMY aswell and post it on their YouTube!

RM, J-HOPE and Suga (Agust D) produce and have their own solo project. (search their names on YouTube.  you’ll find amazing songs. V is well known for his acting in Hwarang.

BTS have been living together since before their debut, however they went from a small place only barely fitting the 7 boys to a very luxury condo easily fitting them and their ARMY. Which they absolutely deserve of course.

Charities and beliefs

BTS have involved themselves in a variety of charitable events. In 2015, they donated seven tons (7,187 kg) of rice to charity at the K-Star Road opening ceremony held in Apgujeong-dong. The following year they participated in ALLETS’s “Let’s Share the Heart” collaboration charity campaign with Naver to raise donations for LISA, a charity “which carries forward a preparation business to fight blindness including research on degenerative retina disease treatment and an activity to improve social awareness on the visually impaired.

In January 2017, news media reported that BTS and Big Hit Entertainment had donated KR₩100,000,000 (US$85,000) to the 4/16 Sewol Families for Truth and A Safer Society, an organization connected to the families of the 2014 Sewol Ferry Disaster. Each member donated KR₩10,000,000 and Big Hit Entertainment donated an additional KR₩30,000,000. The donation was intended to have been made in secret. Later that year, BTS officially launched their Love Myself campaign, an initiative dedicated to helping “protect and support child and teen victims of domestic and school violence as well as sexual assault around the world…”, in partnership with the Korean Committee for UNICEF. BTS plans to donate 500 million won ($448,000) from the members, 3% of all upcoming Love Yourself: Her album sales and 100% of all sales of official goods for the Love Myself campaign over the next two years, as well as include donation desks installed by UNICEF, towards several social programs benefiting violence prevention against children and teens and support programs for victims of violence. Within two months of its launch the campaign raised an additional KR₩106,000,000, taking the worldwide funds total to KR₩606,000,000.

In April 2018, BTS participated in Stevie Wonder’s “Dream Still Lives” tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. alongside other celebrities, sharing their dreams and hopes for the world. It was revealed that Stevie Wonder himself had asked BTS to participate in the campaign.

Members of the group have also engaged in individual philanthropic endeavours. Jimin supported graduates of Busan Hoedong Elementary School, his alma mater, by covering uniform expenses from 2016 until its closure in 2018. After news of the school’s closing was released, he donated summer and winter middle school uniforms to the final graduates and gifted autographed albums to the entire student body. For his 25th birthday, Suga donated ten kilograms of Korean beef to 39 orphanages in Korea under the name of “ARMY”, BTS’s fan club.

Namjoon and Yoongi (RM and Suga) have also made it quite clear they stands for LGBT rights and mental illness.

YouTube In 2018 BTS made a deal with YouTube Red to record their last tour, it’s an exclusive series that shows all of BTS’ highs and lows without masking it up. In the first couple of minutes of the show you can see them talk about it and expressing that no matter how scary it is to show ‘beyond the veil’ what goes on in the life and work that is BTS but they do it and it’s beautiful but also heart wrenching. European and American tour In the beginning of 2018 BTS announced that they will be doing a EU and US tour. The US Dates were sold out extremely quick and on June 1st the EU tour tickets we’re sold out within 30 to 60 minutes as well. A lot of fans are extremely upset and putting up petitions to ask for another show in The Netherlands.  You can sign it here!

JANUARY 2019 GOLD STAR MEDIA SCHEDULES & REVIEW

Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of January 31 KST:

A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly total).

A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their monthly schedule.

Threads do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.

Overall Company

Gold Star will be hosting a (belated) company New Year’s party on the evening of the 4th for all of their staff and idols. Attendance is mandatory, as it’s a show of company bonding and is intended to raise morale. Gold Star had an amazing 2018 with many impressive feats in the digital, physical, and touring markets, as well as overtaking BC to become the idol company with the highest market value, and it only feels right to celebrate in hopes of an even more impressive 2019. Important dates:

January 11: Meeting for company artists and those who work directly with them (managers, PR, etc.) headed by CEO Bang Sunyoung. Gold Star Media’s mission statements and overall plans for 2018 will be delivered.

Various dates (up to individual muse): As per usual January Gold Star custom, all group members and soloists will be required to individually schedule beginning of the year medicall check-up appointments by Gold Star-approved doctors if they have not had one in the past six months. This will be slightly mediaplayed (also as usual) by the company as the company having a clean bill of health regardless of the results, although any medical concerns will be privately addressed.

Gold Star Soloist 1

With her tenth anniversary tour wrapped in Taiwan last month, January offers a bit of a vacation as a reward, with permission from the company to travel out of Seoul on her own leisure time if she wishes. She will also be scheduled to volunteer (or rather, the company will be volunteering her) to deliver warm meals to the elderly alongside some other labelmates. This will get a little media play that can’t hurt, not that she needs much after the success of her most recent single.

Gold Star Soloist 2

She’s currently preparing for a solo concert to start off the year, so rehearsals and promo photo shoots in the lead-up to the two day event in Seoul (followed by dates in Busan, Daegu, and Daejeon) that is happening early this year occur this month. She’s still working in and out of the studio on possible songs, but the concert and everything that comes along for it remains the main focus now, with hopes of an album released before the end of the year.

Gold Star Soloist 3

He’s dropping a new single this month, so the early month is busy with behind the scenes preparation. The music video is being filmed early in the month and he’s encouraged to be active on social media and maybe do some livestreams to hype up the release with his fans. After the single release, he’ll be taking a couple of trips on the radio interview circuit as promotion alongside the music shows, specifically ones catering to a more international audience. He’s also preparing for his first Seoul solo concert in four years, which will be happening in the second quarter of the year.

Silhouette

Silhouette will be filming a short V Live series that is planned to premiere around the time of their March comeback, which they’ll have a small hand in planning and editing for the concept of a “self-made show”. The first few episodes will take place on a trip to Vietnam, so the girls will be packing up (on camera) and leaving for that mid-month. While there, they’ll get some say in the itinerary for the places visited. They’re also still recording for their next comeback, which is planned for March.

Aria

Aria finishes recording their next album this month and will film the music video for the single near the end of the month. This comeback which will bring about a less innocent concept than their past releases. The plan isn’t for this change to be permanent, but to remind everyone that despite their reputation for holding down the sweet and innocent market, the group has survived this long on talent and versatility. On top of that, the members will be volunteering (or rather, the company will be volunteering them) to deliver warm meals to the elderly alongside some other labelmates. This will get a little media play to drop reminders about their upcoming comeback.

Their tour continues, as does an assuredly successful round of year end show and award show appearances. They have three tour dates this month in Nagoya and Singapore, but other than that, they will be in Seoul buried in work for their next comeback. The whole month will be spent doing promotions for their winter repackage, and the schedules for this one are a little more laid back than their other recent promotions, mostly focused on the radio circuit . The members will be instructed to film a lot of short (one to two minute) vlogs behind the scenes during promotions to release through Youtube and other social media. They’re scheduled for a fanmeeting next month, which the boys will be working to prepare for as well.

Fuse will film a group mobile game CF this month in addition to filming the music video for their comeback They’ll also be undergoing heavy preparation and rehearsal for their upcoming tour dates following their comeback that will take them overseas to Japan and North America. Additionally, the members will be volunteering (or rather, the company will be volunteering them) to deliver warm meals to the elderly alongside Aria, Element, and Gold Star Soloist 1. This will get a little media play to drop reminders about their upcoming comeback.

The livestream will be semi-structured and have an outline including part switch dance, a Q&A, and a “most likely to” voting game, but the members will have a little bit of free rein. The members will also be volunteering (or rather, the company will be volunteering them) to deliver warm meals to the elderly alongside some other labelmates. This will get a little media play to keep their name in the media.

Femme Fatale

It’s unclear when their next comeback will happen after their comeback and Japanese debut in the second half of last year, but this month, Femme Fatale will begin to film for their first variety show to mark their first anniversary since debut. For the episodes filmed this month, the dorm life of the members will be showcased through designated filming days (all Tuesdays and Thursdays this month starting January 8) and a group dinner will be filmed at their dorm at the end of the month (January 31) where the members are expected to show a strong friendship and reflect on what life has been like since debut.

AUGUST 2018 BC ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULES & REVIEW

Note: As always, individual schedules are up to roleplayers within reason. Any major individual schedules, especially those related to points claims, should be cleared with the main first. These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.

Overall company

The company concerts are on the schedule for the end of the month, and it’s planned to be a show of company unity. There will be intensive rehearsals for the month leading up to it.

Reminder: Following the news of the lawsuit with Goeun, BC has made it clear to all idols under them that speaking about the lawsuit publicly (be it through interviews, variety shows, or social media) is strictly prohibited.

Decipher

As album promotions come to an end, BC is impressed with the success of the group’s comeback results, confirming their belief that they can rely on Decipher’s already established fanbase and some general public attention here and there to keep Decipher a great asset to the company. After promotions, the group will be informed of the two tracks chosen to be added to the repackage, but BC is currently looking at a late year release for it and the group will have some time in between to focus on individual schedules again.

Despite early talks regarding a possible Decipher V comeback earlier in the year, focus has shifted to the full group now following the success of their last comeback and a comeback for either sub-unit is not currently planned.

BEE

News about going forward with the anticipated fall comeback is still as scarce as ever even as the VLive series the group filmed back in June airs this month. Mid-month, BC will announce plans for an Asia fanmeet tour for BEE beginning in September after a wake up call from BEE’s falling fanclub numbers and brand power, largely thanks to their inactivity. Unfortunately, it seems BC has stuck to the strategy of capitalizing off of existing fanbase of its older groups with them, too.

BC has plans for another album and potential repackage by the end of the year, but the release is slated for closer to the fourth quarter, so members are in and out of the studio mostly only for demos and early recordings this month while the company’s focus is on other groups. The schedule might have been exciting for Knight’s seniors, but it’s business as usual for them.

*Their image with the public has been steadily improving and there’s talk they may be permitted to move out of their dorm around the time of their next comeback if this continues.

Strong results from this comeback have the higher-ups surprisingly pleased with the comeback. “Bingle Bangle” is doing better on the charts than the group’s last comeback, which will be heavily media-played to play up the group’s strength even without Goeun. Things look a lot more positive for the group than they did last December and there’s even talks of a possible tour in the works.
