「そうさ、『火炎槍』さ」 “That’s right. The fire spears!”

「火炎槍… 」マッシュが低い声で言った。 “Fire spears…” Mathiu murmured.

「それはどういう武器なんです？」 “What kind of weapon is that?”

「俺もよくは知らないんだけど、なんでもドワーフの秘法を応用した強力な武器で、『火の紋章片』力を使って高温の炎を吹き出すんだそうだ」 “I am not very knowledgeable on the subject, but it seems that the dwarves somehow use a secret technique to harness the power of fire rune fragments to create a powerful spear that shoots out flames.”

「そんな武器が……」 “With a weapon like that, we could…”

ティルの脳裏に、やはりドワーフが作り出した兵器の記憶が浮かび上がった。 Tir couldn’t help but recall the other weapons the dwarves had built.

クワンダ・ロスマンがエルフの村を焼き払った焦魔鏡、そして焦魔鏡を破壊した風火砲。 The burning mirror Kwanda Rosman had used to destroy the village of the elves and the fire arrows they had used in turn to destroy the burning mirror.

どちらも自分の理解を遥かに超えた強力な兵器だった。 The sheer strength of both weapons was beyond his ken.

火炎槍なら、あるいはテオの鉄甲騎馬隊をうち破れるかもしれない。 The fire spears might be able to destroy Teo’s cavalry units.

「でもフリックさん……」慌てたように、サンチェスが言う。 “Just a moment, Flik…” Sanchez said, seeming flustered.

「旧解放軍のアジトが急襲された時、各地のアジトも一緒に潰されたと聞いています。秘密工場が残っているかどうか……」 “I heard that when our old hideout got attacked, all of our other secret bases were closed up. Will this secret factory still even be there?”

「しかし今は、それに賭けるしかないようですね」マッシュが言った。 “We will just have to take a gamble,” replied Mathiu.

「フリック、秘密工場への道のりは？」 “Flik, you know the way to the factory?”

「急げば往復で二十日、ってところかな」 “Round trip I think it would take about twenty days.”

「早速人を出しましょう。では使いの者には…」 “We shall send our fastest. Our envoys will be…”

フリック、ビクトール、ハンフリーの三名が名乗りを上げ、漁師のタイ・ホーが船を操ることになった。 Flik, Viktor, and Humphrey all volunteered to go. It was decided that Tai Ho would be in charge of the boat.

「へヘへ、やっぱり面白いことがあったな。早速船の準備にかかるとするか！ 」 Tai Ho laughed. “I knew something interesting was gonna go down. I’ll go get the boat ready!”

タイ・ホーに続いてフリックら三名も広間を出て、軍議は終了となった。 The four of them left the room, ending the meeting.

ティルは皆の背中を見送りながらしばらくたたずんでいたが、ふとその一人に声をかけた。 Tir stayed behind and watched everyone leave. Suddenly, he called out to one man.

「師匠……」 “Master…”

振り向いたのは、ティルがまだ幼い時分棒術を教えてくれた、カイだった。 Kai turned in response. He had taught Tir how to fight with a staff when he was a young boy.

「どうしたティル？」 “What is it, Tir?”

昔と比べ確かにカイは老いていたが、気丈な瞳は今も健在だった。 Kai had aged, of course, but he was still a spry old man with a courageous gleam in his eye.

カイの瞳をぐっと見つめ、ティルは言う。 Tir looked his old master right in the eye and said,

「師匠…。僕にもう一度、稽古をつけてください」 “Will you spar with me once again, master Kai?”

その場にいた者が皆、驚いてティルを見つめた。 Everyone still in the room turned to look at Tir in surprise.

「ティル……。では、お前はもう……？」目を見開いて言ったカイに、静かにティルは頷いた。 Kai’s eyes widened in surprise. “Tir… so you mean to join this battle?” Tir nodded wordlessly.

ティルはもう、あの戦場で心を決めていた。 He had already made up his mind on that battlefield.

父と戦うと。 He would fight his father.

そう決めた以上、二十日間も城でじっとしていることはできなかった。 He couldn’t just sit around twiddling his thumbs in the castle for twenty days.

今はただ、胸の苦しみを追い払うため、何かに没頭していたかった。 He had to immerse himself in something to drive away this pain in his heart.

「お願いします、師匠」 “Please train me, master Kai.”

Eggs for Killie is over!

I award myself the 150th egg for all of the little bits of art. Thank you so much for inspiring me to make them! It’s been really amazing to see all the hard work and to truly appreciate the wide range of crafts and activities everyone can do. Bobbin lace? Shoemaking? Knife forging? Translating Irish? It’s genuinely incredible.

I also really appreciated the people who were taking a rest, too. Thank you for that as well.

And I SUPER, SUPER appreciate everyone who was going through saying encouraging words, leaving replies/reblogging with comments, or liking all these posts. That was also a huge outpouring of kindness and time. I saw you doing it (and tried to make sure OPs did too) and any credit for people feeling empowered? That’s for YOU.

I know for a fact that people were following each other simply because they spotted one of their people through doing this. Thank you for being here - and being brave enough to find each other!

Hank: I had a dream.

I was outside, starting at the horizon. But then I looked down.

There was blood, pooling around my feet. I could not see where it was coming from.

It rose. To my ankles. Then my knees. Past my stomach.

I did not know what else to do. So I walked.

And walked. And walked. And walked.

Then I hit something. And someone floated to the surface.

I floated to the surface.

The ocean pushed more and more upwards. And they were all me.

Every. Single. One of. Them.

Wherever I went, more appeared.

I could not escape them.

All of them still breathed. And they grabbed me.

They wanted to kill me. I know they did.

Why? Did I take their place? Whenever I return, how many are left behind?

They must be (trying, craving, waiting, itching, planning, bracing) to drag me back into hell.

Does that make any sense,

— a while back i stumbled upon mushroom oasis and was absolutely dumbfounded by how good it was already (all whilst being a demo, too!!)

couple months later the recent update comes out and i kid you not youtuber after youtuber started uploading videos of their playthroughs and i genuinely felt so GIDDY??<DK!!! and !!!! incredibly excited for you ! 

so happy for the game's success because it is ABSOLUTELY deserved - and your hard work most definitely shows within that !

all that being said be sure 2 never forget to take care of your well-being! tis' important to note that you always come first :P

Elsa, Anna, and Four!! It is actually a miracle I got this one done lol; as you can imagine, life has been pretty hectic! I had a lot of fun doing Anna and Elsa's outfits, and I choose to portray them after the first movie, because (hot take) I didn't like the ending of the second movie 😅 Also, I think their original outfits are more recognizable and more fun to do 😁

I think Four would get along great with Anna and Elsa; not only do they personify teamwork and learning to love people who are different from you, which is very important to Four, but I imagine they would also treat him like a little brother and accept him quickly. Furthermore, Elsa would understand him and give him advice regarding his secret of the true power of the Four Sword. And in regards to Anna, her childlike, energetic personality would probably remind Four a lot of both his Zelda and of the Minish.

Anna is extremely welcoming and her contagious smile would probably cheer up Four, and I imagine that he sees semblances of Elsa and Anna's personality traits in himself (Vio like Elsa and Red like Anna). I also think that they would be understanding regarding all the trials he went through during his adventures, and Four would love having two honorary big sisters!! I hope you all like it!! 🩵🩵🩵

This year was SUCH a wild ride!! Looking back through my files to put this together I could've sworn some of this art was over a year old akjdhfs. SO MUCH HAPPENED!! I had my graduation ceremony in the spring! I got to see my best friends get married this summer! And I travelled to places i didn't think i'd ever get to go!! (AND SAW WILL WOOD LIVE I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS)!! wah i feel so fortunate!! I have to say thank you to the wonderful mods of the @/daycarefriendpickup server!! Getting to join it back in January really put me on track for a lovely year of making art and friends in this community!! it made this year so much brighter <3 Also the mods for the Glitches and Glitterglue fanzine OMG!!! Getting an excuse to put my all into a project (esp my bonuszine page, spoilers akjdgh) had such a massive impact on my confidence and commitment to digital drawing!! i feel like so much of my work has grown from the experience qwq There were some pretty hefty downs this year but overall i think I have so so much to be grateful for! Thanks to everyone that took time to like or share my art this year <3 if you're still reading this you should know i am tackling you with a big big virtual hug and sending you all the luck in the world going forward into 2025!! One day at a time, we will find things to smile about, I promise! <3 OH AND I READ A REAL BOOK. this is a big deal i never finish books when i start them askdjgh so i get to stamp this one to my accomplishments board as well akjdhfsg okay thats all hehe, thanks for reading!!

Hi! I got supper busy! and by busy I mean injured.

I'm fine but hey happy trans visiblity day!

totally unrelated but I have just been laying around distracting myself so now I have decided to once again draw a cast line up. All the martial gods for now, since I got to tweaking up the QYZ and YY one I'd already done and redoing my awfully huge poster thing I started like 4 years ago now. Doing it this way is more fulfilling to me, maybe one day I'll return to it but not now.
