Tommy Begins - COMPLETE

Chapter 9 or Start at the Beginning

Summary:

When Tommy and Buck's plane is shot down, what was supposed to be a romantic weekend away turns into a fight for survival. You would think being stuck on a mountain with radios down, harsh weather conditions, and severe injuries would be the worst of their problems. But, sometimes memories from your past are what hurt you the most.

Excerpt:

Shockingly, there was only one other time in his and Tommy's relationship that Buck truly feared he'd lose him. Tommy was working ground ops that day, taking an extra shift for a co-worker who had been sick. There was a high rise fire that led to multiple units on scene. The 118 hadn't been called in, but they were listening over the radio.

It all seemed fairly routine- until it wasn't.

Tommy was leading the way, clearing the building floor by floor, when the ground gave out below him. He tore through three stories until he landed flat on his back, debris from the floors above falling directly on top of him.

Buck had only been able to listen as Tommy's voice came over the radio, trying to describe his location through heavy breathing and coughing. Buck knew he was in pain.

“We're coming for ya, Kinard,” one of the other firefighters had said, Buck wasn't sure which one. “Just hang on.”

“No rush,” Tommy replied, his biting humor still sharp as ever, “probably gonna die anyway.”

Tommy had gallows humor, it was nothing new to Buck, but those words hit him like a train.

Syrup - Long time favorite. Smooth.

Peppermint - Used for sketching and the occasional dirt or floor.

Monoline - Used for fancy writer. Not good with rough corners but great for smooth writing.

Reed - Little hard to handle but the results are nice and sharp/

Light Pen - Good for cool neon lights. Gives it a nice glow.

New Chapter Up!

After a whole month, I finally got able to publish another chapter. Now we're finally at the half of the story I'm writing. By the way, that "Hidden Wonderland" you have here, is partially the reason I began writing this story, and, indeed, the reason that got me curious about runes, and that finally made me decide to write about spells. Enjoy the chapter, my people!!!

Plus, must say something. Thank you guys for keep showing interest to the story. I am really inconstant with my projects, and feeling that people isn't liking'em makes me fastly get frustrated of any project I'm trying to create, so I literally leave it behind with the thought of "not being good" and some other shits that constantly wander my brain. However, this time isn't happening that to me, and that's because of you guys. I must admit I'm hella enjoying to write this story, but that's precisely cause you're awesome friends that are giving me positive feedback, that becomes the fuel of keep going.
