Saw this meme and just had to redraw it as Thad and Match. Just imagine if the writers had given Match his original personality during Titans East, or just them meeting up again. These two would have tension. (Honestly, ESPECIALLY post Match's Suicide Squad run. There would be hero/villain tension or just tension caused by meeting up your best friend and realizing how much they've changed, how things have CHANGED between you two, and dealing with all of that.)

Lol well in terms of actual documents sitting in my folder, I have seven, all DC: two JayRoy (including Birds All Sing As If They Knew), one HankTodd, one ThadMatch, one GrantTommy, and two that are intimidatingly big sprawling epics with multiple pairings. Three are very very close to being done.

If we're talking about stuff I have planned...let's not talk about stuff I have planned. *cough*

Hilarious Craydl-related Thoughts from my Brain:

Craydl is the closest thing to a parental figure Thad has (He did the raising and most of Thad's socialization I'm sure of it), so that means he gets to give the shovel talk to Thad's romantic partners.

Imagine this glob of neon green goo, who was once subdued by Bart shoving him in a bottle, threatening Thad's potential partner/s and making sure they treat his son well.

My brain is just happily spinning around with the idea of Match and Thad as a hero-villain married couple.

Suicide Squad did multiple things right for Match and one of them is making him actually want to be a hero (which is perfect development because it references the 2009 DC Holiday Special. Seriously, I can go on about my boy Match).

Because really as a villain how can you look at one of your best friends after the euphoria of reuniting and thinking the other was still dead, find out he's trying to be a hero now, and not think, "Well, I can't not fuck him at this point."

The friends to sorta enemies to lovers pipeline would be filled with so much conflict and sweet sweet tension.

It's a bit of a rough excerpt, but it's a fun little ThadxMatch scene I wrote out where they're talking about their dating history and who they're interested in and Thad decides to play a little joke and tease Match by answering he is interested in Kon.
