Krazy Kat by George Herriman
[ID: Krazy stands in a field looking at a Native American painted tipi. Ignatz stands behind him, looking the other way. /end]
Krazy: Ah, a tent.
Ignatz: It's not a tent.
[ID: Krazy turns sharply to a surprised Ignatz. /end]
Krazy: Well, smotty, I s'pose you know wot it is!!!
Ignatz: I sure do, it's a "teepee," if you wish to know.
Krazy: Oh, a "T.P." heh? And what does "T.P." mean?
Ignatz: Just "teepee," silly. That's all.
Krazy: Call that tent a "T.P." if you want, but it's still a tent to me.
Ignatz: How can a thing be a tent when it's a "teepee," fool?
Krazy: Just like you can be a "mice," and still be a "D.F.", that's how.
Ignatz: "D.F."? What do you mean, "D.F."?
[ID: Krazy walks off as Ignatz leaps for a nearby brick. /end]
Krazy: Dern Fool.
Ignatz: B., do your S.
