Twelve: God.... I feel... so numb... am I sick?
Thirteen: You're just going through a derealization cycle again. Or...?
Twelve: *Her eye with an eyepatch on it starts leaking. Her mouth starts dripping blood*
Thirteen: OH GOD- NONONONO- TWELVE, CALM DOWN- *screams of terror*

been watching numberblocks episodes. and of course thinking about numberblocks. so I will now subject you to all of the thoughts so far
why is the alternative number system in that episode about questions is still base ten?
they canonically speak english (they communicate with the Alphablocks, who speak english)
"square roots" in the measuring episode is a pun (16 even splits to 4 4s because 4 is 16's square root)
sometimes numberblocks have alternate forms. however, with some algebra, some of these can be proven to equal their normal version. (Alternate forms so far: Blue 1s, the Terrible Twos, the Three Threes, the Four Fours, Gray 7s, Octonaughty, the Colorful 8s, 9s with Colored Blocks, and the Blue 11.)
when is the crossover with colourblocks
i wanna see the "what if the only numbers were odd numbers?" idea i had in an episode
where is 60 physically located in this shot from the time episode?
from the same episode, 40 says "no time for slowing" right after a 5/4 measure interrupts the series of 4/4 measures, making it slower
why did 1 just keep adding 1 to get to the "biggest number ever" (100) instead of repeatedly doubling? (gets past 100 in 7 steps)
how does the time travel in the time travel episode work?
what does a magic mirror copying a numberblock look like from the back, or even the side?
8 = 4+4 = 2+2+2+2 = 8 (all of these were seen already. perhaps this is a plot twist later?)
do all copies of the same number share like a hivemind? what about if they never were at the same time?
how does numberblock biology work to be achiral (magic mirror clones seem to work just fine), combinable, and color change when combined? And they canonically need to eat? And sleep?
they need to eat, thus increasing their density or volume. however, in certain places, seesaws are used to compare numbers (meaning density is constant for numberblocks) and blocks are used as a unit of measurement (meaning volume is also constant for numberblocks of the same value). therefore that extra mass has to go somewhere. combined with other evidence (42's bath existing, 13 hesitating before saying puddle, etc) the conclusion is clear.
where did 1 come from originally?
when is the next episode coming out, i've run out of lore
all the things in the 12 days of christmas song canonically exist too. the most worrying of these is probably the maids.
how did 1 manage to go in the perfect direction to land in alphaland
how have they managed to fit the odds pun over 2 times?

@12345-numberblocks i’m gonna do it
*The ghost of One becomes visible*
One Hundred: *gasp* One?
Ten: What.
*Fifteen is watching from the shadows as usual*
One Hundred: I’m sorry! I was just mega hungry! It’s like it wasn’t even me!
One’s ghost: it’s OK. I forgive you.

My kid loved numberblocks as well! She still hums some of the songs when she's counting sometimes. I never knew Rasmus was in it though - that role suits him and his voice really well!
Our resident AI murder-child (EOS)'s voice actor, Teresa Gallagher, is a regular on the show - she does a lot of different roles, but most predominantly Six and Ten.
PS. I hope you feel better soon. 🫂
I have an annoying cold today and it has gone to my brain, so I'm sprawled on the sofa with the smaller kiddo watching Numberblocks. For those who've never seen it this is a CGI animated education thing where numbers represented as blocks have personalities.
Anyway, I've found out Rasmus Hardiker voices 18 who is a speedy super rectangle, who comes out with the following quotes:
"I'M EIGHTEEN, I'M A SPEED MACHINE!"
"Nyeowww!"
"I am Eighteen, and I'm a super-speedy Super Rectangle! And I like to go fast!"
"AAAUUUGH!!! HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO SAY "TWO"? HOW? MANY? TIMES????"
(Quote transcripts from wiki)
Sound like anyone else he voices? 🤣
