Hiiiii!!!!! I'm back from the dead, I was bored so I wrote this! Would anyone be interested in a part 2?
Small Steps of Trust
Tumblr media
Sienna had lived alone for as long as she could remember, or at least it felt that way. The days blurred together, marked only by the hours she spent foraging, scavenging, and borrowing from the humans’ world to survive. But even the simple act of borrowing carried a heavy weight of fear and danger, especially after what had happened to her parents.
----------------------------
They had warned her, over and over: Humans are dangerous. Never be seen. Never trust them. Sienna had taken their words to heart, but it hadn’t been enough. Her parents had been caught, crushed beneath the unforgiving heel of a human’s boot. And Sienna… she had been captured, used as a plaything, tortured, barely escaping with her life. That nightmare had changed her, carved fear so deeply into her that even the scent of a human nearby was enough to send her heart pounding.
She had learned how to survive, though. Sienna was clever, resourceful, and more importantly, invisible. She never let herself be seen, always borrowing when the human who owned the house was away. It was the only way she could feel safe.
----------------------------
Today was no different—or at least it wasn’t supposed to be. The house was empty, the human gone to work as usual. Sienna had slipped into the kitchen, making her way across the counter with her tiny satchel, gathering crumbs and bits of food. The human who lived here wasn’t like the others—he didn’t keep the place pristine, and there were plenty of forgotten corners where she could gather what she needed without risk.
She darted toward the fruit bowl, her eyes on a stray grape that had rolled beneath the edge of the counter. It was large enough to keep her going for a few days if she could haul it back to her hideout. As she stretched out her arms to push it forward, she heard something that made her blood run cold.
The front door opened.
Her heart nearly stopped. No, no, this couldn’t be happening—he wasn’t supposed to be home yet! She froze, her breath caught in her throat, praying that he wouldn’t come into the kitchen. Maybe he would head to another part of the house. Maybe he wouldn’t notice her.
But her luck didn’t hold. She heard his footsteps, heavy and slow, coming closer. She had seconds to decide what to do, but her body refused to cooperate. She couldn’t move, couldn’t think. Fear gripped her, making her limbs feel like stone. Her only hope was that she would stay hidden—small and unnoticed.
The human—a man, with short, slightly greying hair, strong arms, and a thick belly—walked into the kitchen, muttering something to himself. Sienna’s heart pounded in her chest as she watched from behind the fruit bowl, peeking around the edge. He was big, so big. She could hear every footstep like thunder, the rustling of his clothes as he moved, and worst of all, the slow, deliberate breaths that filled the quiet space.
And then it happened.
He glanced toward the counter, his gaze sweeping across it. His eyes passed over the fruit bowl… then stopped.
Sienna’s breath caught as their eyes locked.
For a split second, neither of them moved. Sienna’s mind screamed at her to run, to hide, to do something, but terror kept her rooted to the spot. His eyes widened slightly, and she saw a flicker of surprise there. He hadn’t expected to see her—how could he? Borrowers weren’t supposed to be real to humans. They were myths, stories.
But there was no escaping it now. He saw her. He knew.
Sienna’s heart slammed against her ribs, panic surging through her. She backed up quickly, nearly tripping over herself as she bolted behind the fruit bowl. Her hands fumbled for the satchel, abandoning the grape she had been so desperate to take. Her thoughts raced—get out, get out, get out! She could hear his movements, the shift of his body as he took a step closer.
“Wait—hold on!” His voice was deep but not loud, the kind of voice that could easily fill a room if he raised it, but he didn’t. Still, the sound of it made Sienna flinch.
She didn’t care what he was saying. She had to run.
Without thinking, she darted across the counter, weaving between the objects that littered its surface. The human followed her movements with wide eyes, but to her surprise, he didn’t lunge after her, didn’t try to grab her. He just watched.
She made a mad dash for the edge of the counter, aiming for the gap between the wall and the cabinets where she had crawled in from earlier. But she didn’t get far before she heard his voice again.
“I’m not going to hurt you, I swear.”
The words stopped her in her tracks for just a second, and that was enough to throw off her escape. She stumbled, her foot slipping on the edge of a spoon, sending her sprawling onto the counter. Pain shot through her leg as she landed hard on her ankle, and she let out a sharp cry.
Immediately, she tried to push herself up, but the pain was too much. She winced, her ankle throbbing, and when she glanced up, the human was standing much closer than before.
Her heart hammered in her chest as she scrambled backward, clutching her ankle, knowing full well that she wouldn’t be able to run now. She was trapped.
The human didn’t move any closer, though. He crouched down beside the counter, lowering himself to her level, his expression softening. He was big—huge, really—but there was something in his face that she hadn’t expected. Concern.
“I’m really sorry,” he said, his voice quiet and steady. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”
Sienna’s breaths came fast and shallow, her body trembling uncontrollably. She didn’t trust him. She couldn’t trust him. She had learned the hard way what humans were capable of, and this one—no matter how calm he sounded—was still a human. He was still dangerous.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” he repeated, his gaze locking with hers. “I promise.”
Sienna didn’t answer. She couldn’t. Her throat was tight, her mind screaming at her to keep her guard up, to be ready for the worst.
“I’m David,” the human said, his voice still soft, still careful. He kept his hands where she could see them, palms open, as if to show he wasn’t a threat. “You don’t have to tell me your name if you don’t want to. I get it. You’ve been through something.”
Sienna’s breath hitched. How could he possibly understand?
“I’ve… well, I’ve been through stuff too. Not like you, but I know what it’s like to be scared.” He hesitated, glancing down at her injured ankle. “Can I help? You’re hurt.”
Sienna shook her head frantically, inching back further, her eyes wide with fear. She didn’t want his help. She didn’t want anything from him. Humans couldn’t be trusted. They were all the same—cruel, selfish, and dangerous.
David didn’t push, though. He stayed where he was, watching her carefully, his expression soft and patient. “I know you don’t trust me. You don’t have to. But I’d like to help if you’ll let me.”
Sienna swallowed hard, her chest tightening. She didn’t know what to do. She couldn’t run with her ankle like this, but she didn’t want to let him touch her either. Every instinct in her body screamed at her to flee, to hide, but there was nowhere to go.
David seemed to sense her turmoil, and after a long, tense moment, he stood up, taking a step back from the counter. “I’m going to give you space,” he said gently. “You can stay here as long as you need. I won’t come any closer.”
Sienna’s heart still raced, her mind torn between panic and confusion. Why wasn’t he trying to grab her? Why wasn’t he acting like all the others had?
David turned and walked to the other side of the kitchen, sitting down on a stool and leaning his elbows on the counter. He kept his distance, just as he had promised, watching her with those calm, steady eyes.
“I’ll be right here if you need me,” he said. “You don’t have to trust me right now. But I’ll keep my promise. I’m not going to hurt you.”
Sienna stayed where she was, her body still trembling with fear. She didn’t know what to make of this human—David. He wasn’t like the others she had known, the ones who had captured and abused her. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t dangerous. She couldn’t afford to believe his words, no matter how soft they sounded.
But as the minutes ticked by and David didn’t move, didn’t try to force her to trust him, something strange happened. The terror that had gripped her chest began to ease, just a little. It wasn’t gone—not by a long shot—but it loosened its hold enough for her to breathe a bit more steadily.
She didn’t trust him. Not yet. But for the first time, she wondered if maybe—just maybe—this human was different.
And that small flicker of doubt was enough to keep her from running.

Redraw time? I suppose :D
☽✧∙∙✺∙∙✧☽

☽✧∙∙✺∙∙✧☽
Redrew a drawing from 2020 cuz I wanted to draw this dude pfft. He’s an oc named Kazuya Sato, and he’s a high schooler who’s secretly a demon. I just randomly remembered him and really wanted to draw him, so voilà! I’ve really gotta make a ref of him q7q I want a reason to draw his tail pfft
The drawing below is the old one from 2020. Which is technically not in my style cuz I tried incorporating someone else’s style with my own. At that time, my human style was doodoo, so I wanted to experiment 💀

What If…Jason and Liz had a kid?
Tumblr media
——
On today’s episode of What If…? What if Jason and Liz had a son or daughter?
Which would result in Tony having a cousin meanwhile Rei would have a cousin-ish too 💭
The poor young avengers having more Stark-Underwood in the house 😉
I bet 5 bucks this kid comes out as a brunette cuz if your a Stark your AUTOMATICALLY a brunette. It’s just facts. Jason and Maria’s gene didn’t even try in the hair department no sir 😂 OR maybe we do get a blonde one?
Here are my picks for kid FCs
~ Lilly Colins
Tumblr media
~ Louis Partridge
Tumblr media
~ Olivia Holt
Tumblr media
~ Charles Gillespie
Tumblr media
~ Peyton List
Tumblr media
~ Wolfgang Novogratz
Tumblr media
~ Timothee Chalamet
Tumblr media
~ Willa Holland
Tumblr media
~~~~~~
Other options include (can’t include gifs cuz of Tumblr’s limitations 🙄)
~ Luna Blaise
~ Logan Lerman
~ Natalia Dyer
~ Logan Shroyer (he played the son for Male!Liz FC hehe)
——-
It would be interesting that this child was created in a lab using their DNA somehow? Idk haha
Years later the kid shows up claiming proudly that they are their parents.
“Dad.” Said the kid.
Liz glared, “I told you said you were loyal JJ!”
Then the kid added, “Mommy.”
Jason eye widen, “Oh! Who’s un-loyal now?!”
+++
Anyways let me know what you think?
"She looks just like her mom but with my hair. When I watch her do her thing- the figure skatin', the off-ice dance trainin', I get fooled into thinkin' that the hair is the only thing she got from me and everythin' else is Audrey.
