Could you do a Roy or Jamie fic where the reader gets hurt? Even something silly like getting hit in the head with a ball at practice or something! They’re super concerned and want to take care of them! I also love angst…sorry if it’s a stupid idea. No worries if you don’t want to write it 💜✨
Jamie Tartt*Practise Mishap
Pairing: Jamie x f!reader
Word count: 1291
Tumblr media
Warnings: reader getting hit by a football (which hurts a lot btw from experience), Jamie feeling guilty, fluff
A/n: i love this idea btw ive been wanting to write something like this for a while but i made this more fluff than angst
Masterlist here
You’d never actually seen Jamie at practise. There was the occasional time where you dropped him off or picked him up after, but you never lingered since he needed to concentrate. However today Jamie in all his genius managed to forget his phone this morning.
“Wouldn’t have forgotten it if you hadn’t have distracted me love,” he teased, a smirk toying on his lips that made you smack his chest.
“Can you not?” you said, nodding to where the coaches stood only a couple feet away.
Of course, Roy heard. A loud groan came from him before he barked at Jamie, “Back on the field Tartt,”
“You staying to watch Jamie in action?” Ted asked, far more politely than Roy who was sulking at the suggestion.
You looked between him and Jamie who seemed to perk up at the idea, “Is that allowed?”
“I don’t see why not,”
“Maybe he’ll actually put some effort in,” Roy mumbled.
Jamie just rolled his eyes at Roy before giving you a quick kiss, “Get ready to see the king in action,” he said before running back on the field as you laughed.
“How do you stand him?” Roy grunted.
Truthfully you found Jamie’s cockiness annoyingly attractive, but you didn’t think Roy needed to hear that. “What can I say? I’m a saint,” you joked.
Even though the practise was interesting at first it was just boys kicking balls around a field and the illusion quickly worn off. That plus you were supposed to get a bunch of things done at home since it was a rare day off. You turned to Ted to tell him, “I’ll probably shoot off in a minute or two,” you said at the same time as someone yelled “Watch out!”
Roy tried to grab your arm, pulling you out the way, but not fast enough and a ball planted right in the middle of your chest, knocking you off your feet. You hit the ground with a thud and all the air was knocked out your lungs.
You heard Jamie shout your name, but you were too busy coughing up a storm and trying not to be sick. Roy and Ted had crouched down beside you, Beard shouting for Nate to run for the first aider. “Are you alright love?” Jamie asked, dropping to his knees beside you.
“I think- “your attempts to speak was interrupted by more coughing and the urge to be sick, “Ow,” you winced.
“What the fuck were you doing Colin?” you heard the footballers begin to argue as they all rushed to your side.
“I was trying to pass to Isaac! I didn’t know he didn’t see me,”
“When I said improve your kick, I didn’t mean kill Jamie’s bird,” Roy yelled at him, standing up.
Ted tried to calm him, but it was Jamie who spoke first, “Oi! The lot of you move it. you’re crowding her now piss off,” his anger washed off his face when he turned back to you, “C’mon love let’s get you some help,”
“I’m fine,” you winced as Jamie pulled you to your feet.
“No, you’re not now be quiet and let me help you,” he said as he helped you over to sit on a bench at the side. The first aider came and gave you a once over and said it was all good but to be careful. So, Jamie naturally made them triple check. Colin also came over, apologising a million and one times to which you assured him it was okay, and Jamie tried not to death glare him.
Some water and painkillers did help but you still weren’t feeling amazing. Ted walked over with a guilty smile on his face, “How we are doing over here folks?”
“Better now,” you smiled, hiding your wincing as best you could.
“I’m gonna kill Colin,” Jamie muttered.
You rolled your eyes, placing a hand over his, “It was an accident babe. Let’s just let it go, okay?” Jamie didn’t say anything, but you knew he wouldn’t. “But I should defiantly go now,”
“Well Rebecca gave me a call saying to tell Jamie to take the afternoon off and take care of you,” Ted said and before you could protest, he cut you off, “Its doctors orders, okay? Now scamp you too. And try take it easy, okay?”
You felt bad making Jamie miss the end of practise but right now football was the last thing on his mind. after dropping you off at his place and surrounding you with pillows and blankets Jamie went on a Tesco run for snacks.
When he got back you laughed when you saw the almost overflowing bag. “We’ve got enough to survive the winter,” you joked as he sat it down. “You’re spoiling me,”
“Never,” Jamie said with a bashful smile as he pulled out the flowers from behind his back, “Got ye these as well,”
“Aw Jamie,” you gushed, standing up to take them from him but you winced slightly as you did.
Instantly concern washed over his face as he grabbed your arm to steady you despite you not actually falling, “You alright love? I knew that women missed something. What hurts- “
“Jamie,” you interrupted him, cupping his face with your hands making him pause in his tracks, “I’m fine baby I swear. Are you?”
“Yeah, course I am,” he said, wrapping his arms around you, “I just don’t want you getting hurt and that. I just feel bad’s all,” he said, mumbling as he hugged you tighter.
You moved your head to rest on his shoulder, hugging him back, “But why?”
“You were there to see me and then you got hurt. I know how hard those balls can hit,” he said before sighing, “Its all my fault,” he mumbled making your heart break.
You pulled back only to pull him to sit on the couch next to you, placing the flowers on the coffee table, “It was an accident. It was no one’s fault,”
“It was colin’s fault,”
“It was no one’s fault,” you repeated, rolling your eyes with a small smile, “Now are you gonna sit and mope all day or are you gonna take care of me?”
Finally, a smile cracked onto his lips, “Thought it didn’t hurt anymore?”
“I lied,” you said, sinking back into the couch in a dramatic display, “I am wounded beyond belief. You’ll need to do everything I need,” you joked with a hand splayed across your head.
Jamie leaned down to press a gentle kiss to your forehead, “Don’t I always?” he smiled. “Want me to put those in some water?”
“Yes please,” you grinned as Jamie got up to sort out the flowers, but you called out before he could leave the room, “Can we have a movie night?”
“If that’s what the lady wants, that’s what the lady gets,” he grinned, “Just try not pick a total chick flick,” he added with a smirk that made you roll your eyes.
By the time he’d returned with drinks and a takeaway menu you already had 27 dresses queued up, “Oh c’mon,” Jamie protested as he dropped onto the couch beside you.
“Please, I’m injured,” you teased making him roll his eyes but finally agree. Despite his protests Jamie was more into the movie than you were and made you pinkie promise to pause it when he went to get the food when it arrived.
Four chick flicks and an unholy amount of food later you and Jamie were curled up on the couch under a pile of blankets. “Feeling better?” he murmured in your ear though you could hear from his voice he was already half asleep.
“Feeling perfect baby, thank you,”
“Anything for you,”

hi, i love your writing! could i request something where jamie and reader are dating and jamie starts introducing them to the important people in his life, like roy, keeley, the richmond boys, etc. and each time they get introduced to someone new, whenever jamie steps away, they basically get some variation of the 'you better not hurt him' talk, and when jamie finds out he's worried that reader is gunna be offended or upset but they reassure him that it's fine, they think it's cute that everyone's so protective of him and that it's nice to see him have so many people care about him
Sorry this took FOREVER. Here it is!
Tumblr media
the way it goes
It has been exactly twenty-one days since Jamie asked you out on a proper date, and you’re of the opinion that life can’t get much better than this. You’ve only met two of his teammates so far, (Isaac because he’s one of Jamie’s good friends and Richard because you ran into him while shopping) and honestly, they aren’t what you expected at all.
They’re kind and they seem to genuinely like working together.
(It’s a little funny to call football “work.”)
Isaac tells Jamie to bring you next time they all hang out, and reminds him to buy more juice packs than last time so they don’t run out again.
Turns out the next “hang out,” is a night at Isaac’s, and the whole team is there with various partners and spouses. There’s a strict sweatpants-only drsesscode, and pretty much everyone is in clearly expensive matching sets. You’re grateful that Jamie shrunk a brand-new deep green set the other week, because you didn’t have time to go out and buy something new/not ratty.
There are tables of board games, a pile of snacks, and even a bar. Jamie drags you over so he can get “proper buzzed,” and requests something incredibly complicated from Beard, who appears to be the only coach present.
“Babe,” Jamie says, “you good here? I’m gonna get some food.”
You nod and watch him weave through groups of people. You lean against the bar and wait for Jamie’s drink.
“So,” says Beard, “you’re Jamie’s girlfriend.
You nod. “Yeah, I am. I’ve known him for ages, though. Since I was in uni. Always thought he was just some prick footballer trying to score, if you know what I mean.”
Beard chuckles. “I get it. He’s a bit of an asshole sometimes.”
You grin. “He’s my asshole.”
Beard slides you Jamie’s drink but before he completely lets it go, he says, “Hey.”
His voice has lost its jocularity, so you look up to meet his (very intense, slightly terrifying) eyes.
“Jamie doesn’t need his heart broken. He may have been a giant prick, but he’s different now. He’s not the kind of guy you can just screw and move on from.”
Your mouth has gone a little dry, so you just nod. Right then. You turn to go find Jamie and hope he won’t mind if you take a sip of his drink. You’re planning on staying sober tonight, so that one sip is going to have to get you through till the end.
It wouldn’t be the first time someone’s told you to be careful with Jamie. The first time was actually Roy’s niece, Phoebe. Jamie was babysitting and he asked you to come along, so while he was paying for ice creams Phoebe tugged your arm so you’d get down to her level and said, “If you make him cry, they’ll never find you again.”
You had looked at her in shock while she matter-of-factly stated, “My Uncle Roy’s been teaching me things.”
She said the word things far too ominously for an eight year old, but then Jamie came back and she was all smiles again.
You got a similar, equally threatening talk from Phoebe’s mum, and then from Roy, and then Roy’s girlfriend Keeley.
Variations of the “break him and I’ll break you” talk had begun to trickle in whenever you’d pick up Jamie from Nelson Road. The tone ranged from Sam’s vaguely threatening, “We all love Jamie very much. We’re incredibly protective of him,” to Jan Maas’s blunt, “If you break his heart, you will never find another date on this entire continent.
Even Ted had a comment, which was more along the lines of, Jamie’s a big softie, he doesn’t need some to play him right now, he needs a real supporter. Each time, you assured them that you weren’t going to hurt him. You didn’t ask why they thought you would be the one doing the hurting when he was the one with the reputation.
Because you are fully aware of his reputation. You hadn’t seen Lust Conquers All, but you’d seen enough clips to piece together exactly how it went. And you’d seen the details of his cheating scandals all over the papers. And dealt with him firsthand while in uni. So yeah, Jamie’s past prick-ish behavior is not a mystery to you.
You find it endearing that so many people love him enough to protect him. It’s a good sign, you think.
You find Jamie carefully stacking various snacks on a tiny, tiny plate. His face lights up when you come into view.
“Oh good,” he says. “Extra hands.” He grabs his drink with one hand and gives you the plate with the other. He starts piling on something flaky and slightly green.
“Isaac’s girlfriend makes these fucking pistachio things, and they always go way too fast. Gotta eat them while you can,” he says while creating an engineering marvel.
“Glad you like ‘em, bruv,” comes Isaac’s voice from behind you. You jump a little, and the plate wobbles.
You turn to see Isaac with an absolutely gorgeous woman on his arm.
“I’m Stella,” she says. “It’s wonderful to meet you. We’ll have to have you two over for a real dinner.”
Jamie and Isaac quickly become engrossed in a serious discussion about football tactics, with Jamie downing his drink and then taking the plate of food from you. He was right, those pistachio things are amazing.
You chat with Stella for a little bit and learn she’s the face of a modeling agency and met Isaac during some football/branding thing.
“He was the only one during the entire shoot who made sure I was drinking enough water,” she laughs. “Who knew the way to my heart was through proper hydration?”
You talk a little longer before Jamie’s arm is snaking around your waist to whisk you off to see Dani. It goes like that for a little while until you finally settle down at one of the game tables. It’s a card game involving a lot of yelling and pointing fingers.
The house is noisy and cozy, filled to the brim with people who are just comfortable around each other, and you think you’ve never experienced something like this in your whole life.
Jamie on the other hand, is yawning a little bit. His hand, which had been on your knee tracing squiggly patterns, is starting to slow down so you put yours on top of his and whisper, “You about ready to go?”
Jamie nods and presses a kiss to the side of your head.
“Got fucking extra training tomorrow,” he quietly laments.
You get up to leave and Jamie follows suit with a very loud pronouncement that he’d rather be somewhere private, much to the amusement of the Greyhounds who begin to hoot and whistle. You roll your eyes and smack his butt on the way out.
Forty-five minutes later, Isaac’s phone dings with a photo of Jamie in a pink robe and green face mask, hair pulled back in an equally pink and fluffy headband. He’s lying on your bed and he can see the tv screen playing Notting Hill. You’ve typed, Someplace private, my ass, and Isaac just shakes his head and grins. Fucking Jamie. Prick on the outside, softie on the inside.
You better not break his heart, he writes.
HAH comes your reply a moment later. Not a chance.
“Babe, look,” you say handing Jamie your phone. “I’ve collected the whole set.”
Jamie reads your text thread then looks up at you in confusion. “What d’you mean?”
“Isaac is the only one who hasn’t like, threatened me or something if I hurt you,” you reply.
The tips of Jamie’s ears turn red. “What do you mean, the only one?” he asks. “Like, the team?”
You shake your head. “Oh no. I mean, yes, the whole team, but like pretty much everyone who works at Nelson Road.”
Jamie’s eyes widen as you begin to list people on your fingers. “Alright, so obviously the Greyhounds, plus all the coaches, Keeley, Rebecca, Higgins, Trent, Samantha at the front desk, Gary, Phoebe and her mum, Will-” you pause. “Should I keep going?”
Jamie groans. “Fucking hell. I’m sorry. They’re all twats, except Phoebe. I swear, they’re not always like that. I’ll talk to them and make ‘em leave you alone.”
“No! You can’t let them know that you know! And…” you hesitate, “I thought it was kind of sweet. Like a green flag, you know? They all like you enough to make sure that you’ll be ok, and they want me to know I have something special. Of course, I already knew that,” you continue, “but it’s nice confirmation.”
Oh. That’s new.
Jamie’s quiet for way too long so you look over at him. “Babe, are you crying?”
“No,” he says, choked up. “Face mask got in my fuckin’ eye.”
“It’s dried solid, babe.”
“Fine,” he says, “I might be a little. But you can’t tell anyone, especially not Ted, because then he’ll talk to me about feelings and shit, and I’d rather eat ten fucking scones than that.”
You laugh and snuggle into his side. There aren’t going to be any heartbreaks here, not if you can help it. You’re both planning on keeping the other around for the rest of your lives.

pick me up at seven - roy kent x reader
Tumblr media
pairing: roy kent x fem!reader
word count: 3.1k (they won't all be this long i don't think!!)
warnings: language of course, and this is a little steamy but with no actual smut. my favourite genre HA
request: I can’t find any good Roy fics until your recent one and I’m dying for more 😭 Anyway you could write something else for him? Maybe they’re at a bar and he gets pissed when he sees Jamie flirting w her? (Not a pre established relationship) - @kashee-h
a/n: your wish is my demand!! i'm so happy you enjoyed the first roy fic of what i hope are many to come. this one totally got away from me, i loved writing it so so much, thanks for a request that I really got to make my own! <3
---
Roy is the one who’s invited you here. Roy is the one who trekked over to your office at the end of the working day and told you that everyone was going out that evening. Roy is the one who suggested you come, even when you seemed reluctant to join in on what appeared to be an evening for just the players and the coaches. Roy is the one who convinced you that it would be fun, that he’d make sure of it.
All of this is making it very hard for Roy to accept that you are currently sat in a corner booth with someone else. The fact that the person you seemed to be having such an in depth conversation with was Jamie fucking Tartt was the icing on a very shit cake.
He knew he could be having a better night than just sitting on a barstool trying not to watch the two of you, especially when Ted and Beard arrived to get the next round and he didn’t even acknowledge them. They’d hired out a private room, so it was filled with people he generally tolerated the company, some he’d even go as far as to say that he liked. None of that was registering, however.
Jamie leans in when you can’t hear something he’s said and he watches you nod solemnly, duck your head to stare at the floor as if flustered, and he wants to walk right out that door and never come back. Maybe he could get a job at Chelsea, or something.
“Now, what’s wrong, Jeremy Strong?” Ted asks, and Roy has to bite back a ‘fuck off’ so hard he wonders if his lip is bleeding, “You look just about ready to start wreckin’ the place.”
Out of the corner of Roy’s eye, he sees Beard lean in to whisper in Ted’s ear and points over at you. Ted looks surprised. Roy does not want to deal with this.
“You’re telling’ me our very own Mr Kent has his eyes on our very own Miss Y/L/N? Well, that’s just great! She’s sweet as anythin’, good for you, Roy.”
“She’s sweet on Jamie fucking Tartt, more like,” he says, even though he knows he’s being so fucking unfair. He hates it about himself. He knows how hard he’s worked on these feelings, on frustration and anger and jealousy, knows that a few years ago he’d be getting ready to fight Jamie down an alley further through tonight. Now he’s done that work, however, he can recognise the overriding feeling that he’s actually just hurt and that’s so much worse. It’s much easier to be jealous than upset.
“Does this call for an impromptu meeting of the Diamond Dogs?” Ted asks brightly and Roy is only able to stop him after his second howl. Higgins has looked over briefly but Beard signals him to stay where he is.
“Fuck no,” Roy blurts out, then reconsiders. Maybe he could at least talk to Ted, “I just- I was going to tell her. Tonight.”
“Tell her what?” Ted’s doing that thing where he bats his eyelashes like he’s in some sort of rom-com. Beard’s got his head resting in his hand, looking similarly up at Roy. They’re insufferable.
“That I fucking like her, okay? Take those fucking looks off your faces.”
Ted and Beard scramble to look normal but come up short. Ted’s got the awful kind of shit-eating grin on his face that he gets when he sees Sam and Jamie hugging or watches Isaac doing his handshakes with everyone before a game.
“So, you’ve been spending time together? Or are you telling her out of the blue?” Beard pipes up.
Roy thinks that over. You’ve been spending a lot of time together actually. More than anyone at the club would probably even believe. He slips away to your office to eat lunch under the guise of needing a break from the American Circus downstairs. You text him when you’ve brought in ice cream because you know he’ll never say no to ice cream. You’ve met Phoebe. That one was by accident in the park, but you stuck around for four fucking hours and nobody made you.
Still, he wonders whether it would be completely shocking to you or whether you’ve been waiting for him to make a proper move. You’re incredibly difficult to read alongside being so stupidly pretty that sometimes he wants to swear less around you. He doesn’t manage it, of course, but he thinks it.
“Yes, we’ve spent time together. No, I don’t know what that means. Probably doesn’t mean shit to her, not that it would be her fault if she doesn't.”
Ted and Beard tilt their heads simultaneously at him and he wishes he could bash their heads together for a moment.
“But it means somethin’ to you, hey coach? I don’t think Miss Y/N sittin’ with Jamie should stop you from tellin' her how you feel about ‘er, hey coach?”
Roy’s lost track of which coach Ted is even talking to, but Beard chimes in.
“Surely her spending time with Jamie should be all the more incentive to tell her. Find out how she feels. Get that crushing disappointment out of the way now. It’s only downhill from here.”
Roy raises a brow at him as Ted gives him a look. Beard sighs, then picks up his drink and seems to disappear. Ted leans into Roy.
“Him and Jane are on a break again, I’m sorry. Look I’m goin’ to have to go find him but he was right, until he wasn’t. Go get ‘er, Ross Gellar!”
And with that, Ted’s gone too, weaving his way through crowds of people until he’s lost to them. When Roy glances back in your direction, Jamie’s got Colin and Isaac beside him instead and you’re nowhere to be found. He sighs and stands from his barstool, making his way to the exit. Maybe he’d think about what Ted and Beard had said tomorrow: for now, he just wanted to go home.
Except for the fact that when he finally managed to push his way outside to breathe in some fresh air, he found you. Leaning against the wall of the club, with definite tears in your eyes, even under the dim street lamp light. He was going to murder Jamie Tartt, slowly, with rope and paint and suffering involved.
But he knew to take a slightly softer approach with you. If at all possible.
“Hey,” he says quietly, trying not to startle you. You're quick to look up at him, startled anyway, and he grits his teeth as he asks, “Are you alright?”
He doesn’t make any comment about what the fuck Jamie had done to you. Doesn’t think it would be received all that well. Again, he’s biting the inside of his lip harder than ever.
“Yes! Oh god, yes, sorry,” you’re blinking furiously. He admires your resolve when the nearly teary face is quickly replaced by that bright smile that makes him weaker in the knees than he already is, “Fuck, sorry. I’m all good. I’m not sure this is my scene, I was just going to call a taxi.”
There’s an opening. He’ll be damned if he’s not taking it, even though confessing anything is the furthest idea from his mind - he’s much more focused on making sure you’re okay and nobody’s done anything to hurt you. If they have, he's already resigned to a short stint in jail if necessary.
“Do you want to walk?”
“Uh, I mean not really. It’s quite late, so…”
“With me, I mean,” he quickly clarified, wanting to bash his head against the brick wall, “I could walk you home, if you wanted. Or not. That’s fine too.”
“Oh, right,” you’re looking down at your feet as you contemplate it, “That would be nice, if you’re sure. Thank you.”
“It’s nothing,” he insists, falling into step beside you as you begin to walk. He wants to give you his jacket and maybe his shirt too with the way you’re shivering, but he can’t bring himself to do it. He’s a fucking coward, but he will get to the bottom of what’s the matter if its the last thing he does, “You gonna tell me what’s wrong now?”
You huff out a frustrated sigh, at him, at yourself, he isn’t sure.
“I made a fucking fool of myself tonight,” you say eventually, and he can’t even imagine you doing that, “I thought…god, it doesn’t matter what I thought. Everything just feels worse when its…1:30 in the morning, don’t you think?”
You’d lifted his hand to check his watch before you said the time. Again, he wanted to hold on, but he let you drop his hand and it just went limp.
“It fucking does, yeah. Don’t think you could make a fucking fool of yourself if you tried though. Not around us lot.”
Your family, he heard Ted’s voice in his head. He was not fucking saying that. To his surprise, you let out a loud bark of a laugh at his words and he was staring at the side of your face as you spoke out into the dark air.
“I thought you were coming to pick me up tonight, you know?” you began, and his heart drops to his shoes. You’re upset about him?
“What?”
“Something you said earlier, when you asked me to come. You asked where I lived, then told me it would be a twenty minute walk to get there. Then you said ‘see you at seven’.”
He could have stopped walking. He had said that, but he was just trying to help you plan out your timings for the evening - you’d mentioned to him once that you were known for having some time blindness when you were getting ready for things. Of course he should have realised how fucking stupid that was, how much that sounded like he would come and walk with you.
He would have fucking loved to walk with you.
“Fuck!” he exclaimed, far too loudly for the quiet night that surrounded you. You carried on undeterred, shaking your head. He could see your frustration was at yourself now, and he hated himself even more than he had earlier.
“My fault for assuming, I know. But that’s why I was so late. And when I arrived, trying talk myself into not feeling like a twat, you were already over with Dani and Isaac and Bumbercatch, clearly never intending to come pick me up. Which, why would you, of course. I just…felt shit. Jamie tried to help, bless him, but I just wanted to go home, honestly.”
Roy is the biggest idiot on the planet. He wants to go back into the club and hug Jamie for looking after you, then ask him to punch him in the face. Roy could punch something, anything right now, but he just grits his teeth.
“I’m-” he grunts when his voice comes out all strangled, “I’m really fucking sorry, Y/N. I’m the fucking twat. I was asking where you lived and that to help you with that fucking time blindness thing you told me about. Should’ve known how it sounded though. Fucking idiot.”
He directed the last comment at himself, kicking a stone he’d found on the pavement. He kept his eyes firmly trained on his shoes as the two of you continued walking, now at a significantly slower pace. Your eyes were burning a hole in the side of his face.
There was a silence that stretched on as you stared at him, until-
“Fucking hell,” you groaned, “That’s so fucking sweet. You’re the worst.”
He doesn’t know if he can remember being called sweet before. Phoebe was often excessively complimentary of him in a way that made him uncomfortable, but sweet had never come up. He didn’t feel sweet.
“I am the worst,” he grunted, spiralling, “Making you feel so shit. Ruining your fucking night. I was the one who convinced you in the first place and now you’ve had a shit fucking time and I’m the worst.”
He’s a little out of breath and loud again by the end of his rant. The two of you have stopped walking. You kick the toe of your heel against his shoe, placating.
“No, you’re the worst ‘cause you keep giving me all this hope. I fucking hate hope, no matter what Ted says,” you chuckle to yourself, and he’s not sure what you’re saying but he’s peering into your now smiling expression as he tries to work it out, “Look, do you like me or not? You’re a good guy Roy and either way, I’m grateful that you’re walking me home. I just think if I ask, maybe I can just feel like a twat for the night and get it over with by tomorrow.”
“Do I…like you?”
He sounds thick. He feels thick. Feels like his mouth is full of honey that his tongue is having to wade through to even speak to you. It’s stuck to the bottom of his mouth, heavy.
“Yeah. As in, do you just enjoy eating lunch with me or do you ever look at me and just want to kiss me? Cause I do that all the fucking time, Roy, but I can’t be arsed to dance around it anymore.”
You look really tired as you stare up at him, but he feels more energised than ever. You’ve both just established that he’s the absolute worst, and yet here he is, with everything he could’ve wanted right in front of him. You, looking fucking gorgeous and looking at him like that? Even getting a job at Chelsea wouldn’t help him against you - he was gone.
There’s a smirk on his face that he can’t bite back as he takes your face in both his hands and revels in the gasp he can pull from you. He should have known you’d be the first to say something. You weren’t the coward he was.
“Let’s not fuck about then, yeah?”
Low and breathy. You respond with a nod so eager that he’s practically grinning when he pulls you in. It’s quickly replaced by a hunger he’s been keeping at bay, allowing his hands to slide into your hair as he deepens the kiss almost as soon as it’s started. He can feel your hands clutching at the lapels on his jacket, but he’s more excited when you throw your arms around his neck instead, tugging on the hair at the base of his head.
He growls and you actually whimper. It’s like he’s been set on fucking fire. Like he’s been struck by lightning.
When he pulls away for air, you stay close, peppering kisses along the scruff of his jaw, up the side of his face and back down again. He holds you to him tightly around your waist and feels wanted. He’s wanted you for so long, but to be wanted in return, so openly, it’s both hot and meaningful. He’s not sure anyone’s ever told him they liked him before. Most models he’d dated were pretty sold on the idea that he had to make all the moves.
Still, when you begin trailing kisses down his neck and there’s a hand on the top button of his shirt, he has enough sense about him to stop you. Even if he really doesn’t want to.
“I don’t know what street this is,” he breathes out, low voice little more than a rumble, “But maybe we don't give your neighbours a fucking show.”
You look thoroughly kissed when you look back at him, but he doesn’t think it’ll ever be enough. He leans in to kiss you once more to punctuate his sentence, watching as you duck your head, all shy, even though your arms are still around him. He knows now that when you ducked your head with Jamie, you were embarrassed. This is you properly flustered and it’s one of his favourite looks on you.
“Good call, yeah. Okay. I’m- I’m just around this corner, I think.”
“You think?”
“Shut up, you,” you whack him lightly on the shoulder, as the two of you resume walking, “Think you can make it all the way there?”
“I’d carry you if my knee wasn’t fucked,” he admits, watching you with a lopsided smile, “Really fucking like you, by the way. If that wasn’t proof. Thought you should hear me fucking say it.”
You close your eyes in a little half laugh - giddy, he thinks.
“Well, I did wonder. We’ve spent a lot of time together the last few weeks for someone who doesn’t like spending time with people.”
“Your first clue,” he agrees, taking your hand with pride now as the two of you keep walking, turning the corner towards your house. The pace is a lot quicker than it was before. He hopes he knows why, “I’ll be less of a fucking idiot now. Promise.”
“Eh, don’t worry,” you shrug, letting go of his hand only to thread your arm through his and take hold of his hand again, even tighter, “Nothing sexier than fucking idiots. I like my men with no thoughts behind their eyes.”
He properly laughs at that, head tilted back, feeling your head against his arm as you laugh with him. You slow down, gesturing left. Your house. The two of you walk down the drive until you’re at the door, face to face again and Roy is having a small internal battle.
“Look, I know you said no show for the neighbours,” you begin, almost nervously, “But does that mean a…private show is totally off the table too?”
He watches you picking at your nails. Can’t help it. He pulls you in for another breathless kiss, just to watch you come alive again, confident and fucking into him, however much of a miracle it seems. You pull away this time, clearly keen for an answer, but he groans.
“Tryin’ to be a fucking gentleman, here. Why don’t we do dinner tomorrow? Proper date. And I’ll fucking pick you up.”
You giggle. Still, there’s a glint in your eyes, as you sigh melodramatically.
“That does sound nice. Only thing is, there could be an intruder in here, you know? So, and I’ll only ask once more and then I promise I’ll let you go if you say no, but maybe you should walk me to my bedroom? To make sure I’m safe, you know? And then you can pay for my breakfast in the morning like a good old fashioned gentleman, if you want.”
You’re looking up at him, all hopeful again. His resolve is dwindling. You spin your keys around one finger and its a simple gesture, but it’s the final straw.
“I’m paying for your fucking lunch too,” he growls, diving into you once again. He’s beside himself when he hears you mutter a faint ‘thank fuck’ as you fumble to unlock the door and all but drag him inside.

Tumblr media
Silver Springs - Jamie Tartt xFem!Reader, Roy Kent x FemReader!
Content - angst, flirting, friends to lovers, love triangle
Word Count - 3k
Summary - Whilst Jamie is in the throes of preparing for the Man City game, Roy tries to show the reader that he's noticed her past just being the coaches’ assistant, even if it makes him feel guilty.
Read Part One Here
A/N - Part 2 of this love triangle fic, let’s gooooo. As always like and reblog if you enjoy and let me know what you think <33
It had been about a week since Jamie had kissed you, and things weren’t official. You couldn’t say you weren’t disappointed, but you understood the mental stress he was under with the upcoming Man City match. Being able to be intimately close to him was enough, because you knew he needed the comfort. Sitting on your couch and stroking his hair as you felt his breathing become deeper made you more than content.
You sigh slightly to yourself and open your laptop, your color coded calendar coming to life. You glance to the corner of your screen, looking at the time. Bright and early with plenty of time to move appointments and schedule other needed meetings. You sat at your desk in the small room off of Ted and Beard’s. Your deskmate wasn’t there yet. He actually grunted every time you called him your “deskmate”, but annoying Roy Kent was one of the perks of this job.
“Hey, love.” You would recognize his voice anywhere, and you look up to see Jamie leaning on the doorframe. He crosses the room and gives you a sweet peck on the lips, then plants another kiss on the top of your head. He crosses through your office to the locker room and you smile to yourself. What a perfect start to your day, a kiss from the man you had wanted to be with for so long. You look back to your screen and start moving appointments, adding in the important dates Ted left on a football shaped sticky note, including the latest visit from Henry.
A slight thud on your desk has you tearing your eyes away from your computer screen. You see a take-away coffee cup with the name “RAY” written in big, scratchy letters. You look up, greeted with a glowering, bushy eyebrowed face. “Can I help you…Ray?” You grin gesturing to the coffee cup.
“Fuck’s sake.” He grunts. “I brought you coffee.” He scoots the coffee cup closer to you, and you raise an eyebrow, Roy Kent was bringing you coffee?
“Thank you…but why?”
“What do you fuckin’ mean why? Cause you’re nice and you’re always bringing everyone else coffee.” He says gruffly, dropping his iconic black leather jacket onto his own chair, revealing his tight fitting black tshirt underneath. You take a sip of the coffee to avoid gazing at him, you had eyes and knew he was fit. You were pleasantly surprised at your drink.
“How’d you know my order?” You say, taking another delighted sip of your drink. You watch Roy’s jaw jump slightly and he shrugs.
“Must have just picked up on it.” He says nonchalantly. In reality, he snooped around your desk the night previous, but he wasn’t going to admit to that. That sounded insane. He felt like a terrible person. He and Tartt were on good terms again, friends even, and here he was trying to win over the girl he knew Jamie was mad about. He was a prick. And a bad friend. But he couldn’t help it. Something about you drew him to you, and you made him want to open up to the possibility of being in a serious relationship again.
You smile slightly at Roy’s back, flattered that he had done this for you. You were still a bit baffled as to why. It’s not as if Roy wasn’t nice to you, he was. But usually he answered you in growls, not full sentences. “Well…I really appreciate it. I didn’t have time to grab coffee this morning before getting to work.”
Roy turns to look at you, one corner of his lips ticking upwards. “Don’t mention it.” He says. “Seriously, fuckin’ don’t.” You openly laugh at this and turn back to your computer screen.
“What is all that shit anyway?” Roy asks, and you can feel him cross the tiny space to stand over your shoulder. When he leans over and places one hand on your desk and one on the arm of your desk chair, you feel your heart skip a beat. Which was dumb. Why would that be your reaction? You ignore the feeling and shrug.
“This is how you get your extra physio appointments, how Ted has time to review game footage every other day, and how Beard knows when it’s time to exchange his library books.” You look up at him. “It’s all color coded for every member of the team. I’m pretty proud of it, if I do say so myself.” You give him a small smile and go back to typing in the extra appointments Ted had asked you to put in.
“Fuck.” Roy says, watching you work the schedule around. “Now I understand why Ted said he didn’t know which way was up without you.”
“Aw, you talk to Ted about little ole me?” You flash him a teasing grin and his heart wrenches. Fuck you and your stupid, pretty grin.
“Uh…” Roy starts, coughing slightly to cover his embarrassment.
You pat the hand resting on your desk before you continue typing. “I’m just kidding, Roy.”
Roy clears his throat, but still hadn’t moved from his spot. He seemed content to watch you work, which was unusual for him, but you didn’t mind. He was a little close, sure, but if he wanted to watch you put in appointments and move Sam’s restaurant re-opening for him then who were you to tell him no?
“Love?” You look up at the sound of Jamie’s pet name for you and smile brightly at him.
“Hi!”
“Am…I interruptin’ somethin’?” Jamie asks, pushing his hair back with his headband, looking from you to Roy. Why was Roy so close to you? That made him feel uneasy, but he wasn’t sure why. He knew that you had feelings for him, but he hadn’t made anything official. He supposed he couldn’t blame you for exploring your options. His eyes meet Roy’s, who clears his throat and straightens up, away from you.
“No.” Roy says gruffly. “I was just looking at the insane color coding she has in there.”
Jamie nods slightly, looking to you, who he was relieved to see, only had eyes for him.  He crosses the room to you, kneeling in front of where you sat, and you look down at him, eyebrow raised. He grins at you.
“I jus’ wanted to come see if you wanted to have lunch with me today.” He says, ignoring Roy completely at this point. You nod enthusiastically, pushing a strand of hair that came loose from the headband back.
“Course I do.” You said, smiling at him. “Meet you at the kebab place around the corner?” You ask, to which Jamie nods. He glances at Roy, who is pretending to be preoccupied on his phone and presses his lips to yours in a sweet, soft kiss.
“Great. See ya then, darlin’.” You smile as you watch him walk out, quickly turning back to your work. Next on the agenda, emails.
“So.” You hear.
You turn towards Roy’s voice. “So..?”
“You and Tartt, yeah?”
You shrug. “Nothing is official yet.” You say nonchalantly, trying to hide just how giddy you were about Jamie openly kissing you and referring to you as “love” or “darlin’”.
“Not fuckin’ official?” Roy says, incredulous. This was news to him.
“Not yet.”
“Why the bloody hell not?” Roy crosses the room again and peers down at you.
You look back up at him and wave your hand absentmindedly. “Jamie is already stressed about this upcoming match, I can wait until his head is completely clear to have a serious conversation.” You pick up your coffee cup again, taking a sip of the delicious hazelnut latte.
But you nearly choke when Roy leans down, one hand on each of your chair’s armrests, caging you in. His face is inches from yours.
“That’s fuckin’ dumb, babe.”
You lower the coffee cup from your lips, studying his face intently. Your heart was pounding. Babe? What was he doing? Never in the entire few years you had been here, had the Roy Kent paid so much attention to you.
“Hm.” You say, quirking an eyebrow. “And why is that dumb?”
Roy smirks slightly. “Because if I had you, I wouldn’t even fuckin’ hesitate to claim you.”
You realized you were holding your breath and you laugh nervously. “O..oh.” You say, swallowing. “Well I don’t think Jamie is hesitating to claim me.” You look into his face, because he was making it impossible not to notice how handsome he actually is. Sure, you weren’t public with your relationship, but Jamie didn’t hide how he felt about you, at all.
“Maybe not here. But I would be shouting from the fuckin’ rooftops if I had someone as nice as you smiling pretty at me like you do Jamie.” You can see him studying your face, and in reality, Roy’s heart is pounding. He’s getting a bit too carried away here and he didn’t know when or how to stop.
“Maybe you could have someone with a pretty smile if you weren’t such a grouch.” You counter, leaning in closer to him, aware now that you were having some sort of effect on him. You watch him swallow, his eyes flicking down to your lips. You smirk at him.
He growls in response, catching you completely off guard that you had elicited such a sound from him but making you smirk even more. You press a single finger against his lips, standing up as you push him back.
“See? Grouch.” You tease, moving your finger but before you can rest your hand at your side again, Roy looks down at you, catching your wrist in his hand.
“Fuck’s sake, woman.” He says, almost breathlessly. You look up at him, fluttering your eyelashes innocently, but trying to deny the fact that you liked how his large hand had caught you. The look on your face was all it took for Roy to back you into a wall, his lips on yours. One hand with his fingers splayed across your hip, digging greedily, almost possessively, the other letting go of your wrist to yank you closer to him, if that was even possible. The kiss was sloppy, heated, needy. The heat of your body pressed against Roy’s was making your head cloudy. When he deepens the kiss, your breath hitches and a slight moan escapes your lips, causing Roy to smirk into your lips.
You felt so bad that you kissed him back. When Roy pulled away, he immediately lets go of you.
“I…I shouldn’t have fuckin’ done that.”
What were you doing? What about Jamie? “I..shouldn’t have kissed you back.” You whispered, wide eyed. Roy has stepped back and away from you, but he’s watching you with such a look of longing. “I’m the worst girlfriend ever.” You say.
“Not his girlfriend, technically.”
You shift your gaze and focus your eyes on him. “What?” You say.
“You’re not his girlfriend officially.” Roy grunts, before stepping closer to you again. “I get if you don’t ever fuckin’ speak to me again. Just don’t tell me you regretted that.”
You gaze up at him. No, you’re not Jamie’s girlfriend. But Jamie is everything you ever wanted. And it made you feel horrible that you didn’t regret that little kiss-attack. You shake your head slowly, watching as Roy came close to you again, hovering above you, his torso pressing into you. “Please.” He says.
The gruff, broken plea in his voice makes your knees weak and you shake your head. “I can’t tell you that.” You say, clearing your throat and straightening up, your breath slightly heavy.
“Even if I know you don’t?” He says grabbing your chin, looking into your eyes.
Your eyes flutter closed and you breathe out. “Yes.” You hated him right now. How did he manage to get a rise out of you so quickly? You pull your face away from his grasp and push yourself off the wall. “I need to go.” You say bluntly, gathering your laptop and your bag. Roy steps back and watches you go, rushing out the door.
Tumblr media
You cannot believe what had just happened. You were so distracted that you run smack into someone in the carpark, their arms grabbing you and steadying you.
“Woah, love, what’s wrong? You look like ya’ seen a ghost.”
Jamie. Because of course it was Jamie. You can’t even look him in the eye and he moves his head to catch your gaze. “M’startin’ to worry here, darlin’, what’s wrong?” He asks again, his grip tightening a bit on you. He had a horrible sinking feeling in his stomach. Like he knew what was coming next.
“We can’t be together.” You say bluntly.
Jamie blinks once, then twice. “What?”
“You deserve someone better than me.”
Jamie still looks dumbfounded, but was becoming almost desperate to find out what you were talking about. “Please tell me what you’re talkin’ about, because I’m gettin’ a little scared.”
“I…” you look away from him again. “I kissed Roy. Or…he kissed me.”
Jamie winces. “Y-what?…kissed Roy?”
“It just happened. And we can’t be together because I’m a horrible person for doing this to you.” You pull out of his grasp, but Jamie grabs you again. “Jamie, please let me go.”
“No.” He says, simply, grabbing your chin much like Roy had done minutes before. “I’m not pleased, but this is almost like karma for how shitty I’ve been in the past.” He shakes his head when you open your mouth. “Do ya care about me?”
“Of course I do.” You almost sob, looking at him with the most pathetic eyes he’d ever seen.
“I know ya do, or you wouldn’t have told me right away.” He kisses your forehead. “M’not happy about it. But I can’t say I blame ya for exploring options when I haven’t even asked ya on a proper date.”
You groan, hiding your face in the crook of his neck. “You being so understanding is making me feel worse. I know we’re not officially together or whatever the hell -“ you pause and look at him. “But I feel so, so, awful that it happened.”
Jamie shakes his head. “Stop that. M’not going to turn my back on you. I’ve cared about ya too long to let the messy beginning of what we’re tryin’ to figure out be the end of us. Besides, I did this same thing to Roy when he was with Keeley. Sometimes you just…like who you like.”
You stare at him. “You’re spending too much time with Ted.”
Jamie actually throws his head back and laughs at that, rolling his eyes once before pulling you in. “Now that you’ve kissed me coach I guess we’re even. Cause I used to be with Keeley and the two of you are thick as thieves.” He really didn’t blame you for any of this, but was making a mental note to maybe punch Roy in his face later. He couldn’t say it didn’t hurt, the thought of you kissing someone else. But he wasn’t going to let anything get in the way of what he knows is meant to be. He knew that was corny, but with you he wasn’t worried about any of that. He wanted it all, the house, the love, the kids in the future.
“I’m sorry Jamie. I really am. All I could think about was how much of an asshole I was being.” You look up at him, realizing he’s already gazing at you.
“Be me girl. Officially.” He says.
You blink. “I thought you weren’t ready to have a serious conversation until after the match?”
“Don’t care about any of that anymore.” He says. “Me dad, me reputation with Man City. Don’t matter.” He mumbles into your hair. “Only you matter to me.”
“Okay.” You whisper.
“Okay, ya believe me? Or okay, ya wanna make this official?”
“I want to be yours, Jamie.” You catch the smile on his face and he leans in, cradling your face. The kiss he gives you is so different from what you had experienced with Roy. This was slow, sweet, and loving. Jamie pecks your lips, once, two, three times, and when he pulls back, he runs his thumb over your bottom lip. You sigh, contentedly.
“That’s me girl.” He whispers, holding you close. You realize that this, with Jamie, was what you wanted. He kisses along your jawline, and you can’t help yourself, you smile. “Knew I could coax that gorgeous smile outta ya.”
Jamie was infatuated with you, and if he was being honest, completely in love with you, and had been since you had been the only one willing to speak to him when he initially came back to Richmond.
Jamie leads you to his car, and when you both get in, he pulls you across the center console onto his lap, sliding his large palm up to cup your face as he continues to kiss you. You were breathless, tangling your hands in his hair.
When you both finally pull away, you smile. Jamie tucks a piece of hair behind your ear, just like he did that night in the bar. “I’ve waited so long to be able t’call ya mine, love.” Jamie murmurs, your noses touching.
You stay like that, Jamie nuzzling you in his lap, while you think about everything that had happened. But you knew that nothing made you feel better than when Jamie held you. You stroke Jamie’s hair absentmindedly. You just hoped that you weren’t truly as terrible as you still felt.
You close your eyes, reveling in the feeling of Jamie’s presence. This was more than enough.

Dude first of can I say I bloody love your writing second of all I just read that piece of reader and Jamie watching finding nemo and I had an idea. What if Jamie is watching when Harry met Sally for movie night with the team and it literally gives him the biggest mindblown lightbulb moment that he’s in love with the reader aka his best friend of over 10 years. The ending of it always makes me cry.
This is crazy did you read my other drabble where Jamie and reader watch when Harry Met Sally (I love that movie) But I LOVE THIS idea.
The boys filed into the rec room, the chairs already set up for the boys to be able to watch whatever movie Ted picked out for tonight. You were in there, finishing setting up the projector cause lord knows that if you didn't do it Ted would never be able to figure it out.
"And there!" You finished, throwing your hands up in success. "All you have to do is press play."
"Well, now, thank you (Y/N), you've been a big help," Ted grinned. "Alright now, folks! Let's file in, get your seat we're gonna get started soon!"
"(Y/N)!" Jamie called over to you. You looked over at him and smiled and Jamie's heart about stopped. Sure he was in love with you. You were brilliant. But it wasn't like he would ever say anything and ruin the friendship you had. "Over here."
"Sorry, Jamie, I got work to do, won't be able to stay tonight," you told him walking towards the door. "But I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?"
You walked out of the door. Some of the team pat him on the shoulder sympathetically as they walked by. Was it really that. obvious? How could you not see it?
Jamie elected to slump down next to Sam and Isaac instead, unable to keep the pout off his face.
"It is alright, Jamie," Sam comforted, nudging him. "She's just busy tonight."
"Yeah! Anyone with eyes can see she's into you," Isaac agreed.
"Thanks, lads, but I think it's hopeless," Jamie grumbled.
"Alright, greyhounds, now!" Ted clapped his hands getting the attention up at the front. "Tonight we're watching a movie about friendship, and love, and how friendship and love walk a very dangerous line. But all you need is that one push to spill your guts."
"Fucks sake," Jamie muttered, adjusting his seat.
"And without further ado, When Harry met Sally!" Ted scurried out from in front of the projector. Jamie rolled his eyes and settled in for another rom com that he didn't enjoy because all he could think about is (Y/N),
But what surprised him was how great the movie was. The writing, the flirting, it was all so comparable to his own life. By the end of it, he was leaning forward in his seat as Billy Crystal rushed down the streets of New York to find Meg Ryan.
"I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."
Jamie felt him mind racing as he listened to that line. He thought about you and the butterflies that followed him around whenever you were near. The smile that lit up the room. The laugh that could save lives. He wanted to be with you and he wanted to be with you right now.
Just as the lights turned on, Jamie shot up out of his chair and raced out of the room. The rest of the boys cheered as he did.
Ted turned to Beard. "I reckon you owe me 10 pounds."
Meanwhile, Jamie was rushing to your room. When he arrived, he knocked fiercely on the door, not letting up until you opened it.
"Jamie? What on earth-"
"I love you," he blurted out. You eyes widened, trying to take in what he was saying. "I love you. Like I love the way you smile, I love the way you talk, I love the way you always seem to know what I want for lunch even though I don't know what I want for lunch."
"Jamie wha-"
"I love you," He repeated. "You know my hair dye brand, you know that I like the temperature in my house to be 18 degrees. Not 20, not 15, 18 degrees. I love you (Y/N)."
You were speechless. You couldn't form a thought into a word if you wanted to. You just looked back and forth between Jamie's eyes trying to decipher if this was a joke.
"(Y/N), I love you and when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you-"
"Want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible..." You finished the quote, smiling softly.
"I know this is sudden, and whatever, but I just... I need you to know."
"Jamie?"
"Yeah?"
"Will you kiss me now?"
"God, yes."
And he did. He kissed you. He kissed you quite a lot actually.

————-
It was a warm, sunny Saturday. The perfect day for Roy and Keeley’s wedding. You spent all morning helping Keeley get ready, and by the time she walked down the aisle she was buzzing with excitement. The morning had gone by in a blur, and it wasn’t until right before the ceremony you were able to check your phone.
Ted: Everything going okay?
Y/N: Yeah! We’re almost ready. See you in a few ;)
You and Ted’s friendship had slowly become flirty and more physical over the past few months. Nothing too extreme, but he now greeted you with a smile and a hug in the mornings. When he walked you home after your nights at the pub with him and Beard, a soft kiss on the cheek came after his goodbyes. Your favorite part, though, were the kisses that you now shared during your weekly post-match movie nights.
What started out as a soft peck had now become the occasional make-out session. Other than Sassy, you knew Ted’s sexual experience had been somewhat limited. With that in mind, and his most recent drama with his ex wife, you didn’t want to push him too far too soon. After being his best friend for so long, you’d started developing feelings for him. What you imagined would be the best hookup of your life, wasn’t worth sabotaging your chance of being with him.
You let out a content sigh as you breathed in Ted’s scent. He smelled like laundry detergent, and you could smell the light notes of his cologne from where your face was pressed to his shoulder. He’d chosen a rom-com for this week's post-match movie night.
The couple on scene held each other in a dramatic embrace before partaking in an even more dramatic kiss. Rom-coms weren’t your forté, but you loved hearing Ted ramble about them. Ted’s arm tightened around you while he watched as if he were scared you were going to get up and leave. You slowly lifted an arm from its place tucked between you to drape over his stomach. Ted relaxed even more under your touch as you lightly grabbed at the fabric of his shirt, just reminding him you were there.
As the ending unfolded you didn’t pay much attention, until you heard Ted speaking your name.
“Y/N?”
You tilted your head to look at him, not wanting to move from where you were now halfway in his lap. His face was so close to yours that you could smell the wine on his breath from dinner.
You heard him speak, “Do you want to watch another one? If not I can go-“
“No! None of that, it’s late and you’re buzzed.. You can stay here tonight. You know I don’t mind..”, your eyes were glued to his as he trailed off.
Instead of a response you just got a soft hum. Not that it mattered, you were too busy taking in his features anyway. Your eyes traced from his freckles, to his perfectly pointed nose, and when you reached his lips it’s like a switch flipped in his mind. The hand resting on your shoulder came up to stroke your hair, as it often did, but after a few seconds it moved around to cup your cheek.
You heard him gulp before stuttering, “Can I.. kiss you?”. His eyes slowly searched yours as you responded, “Please.”
Your eyes fluttered closed as he pressed his lips to yours. After a few seconds you both pulled away, hearts racing, and went right back in without missing a beat. As you kissed he held you tight, arms holding onto you in such a gentle Ted-like manner. When he pulled away, your breathing had picked up and your cheeks were flushed, and you could only giggle as you pushed your face back into Ted’s shoulder.
That became a weekly thing. When one of you had a particularly stressful week, when something good happened, when something bad happened. At movie nights and outside the Crown & Anchor after Beard went home. In your office at the club long after everyone had gone home.
Neither of you talked about it. Ted was worried you just wanted to hookup, like Sassy. For you, his feelings were legitimate and the idea of being shot down actually hurt. You were worried he didn’t feel the same, or maybe had legitimate feelings for her. After all, you did hear about his failed attempt at asking her out a few months back. Luckily she hadn’t come around since, and you were hoping it would stay that way.
You and Ted told each other just about everything, and you knew if he’d seen her since, he’d tell you. Deep down, you just hoped the next time she dropped in, she wouldn’t spend the night with Ted.
Your fears were put up to bat as you lined up at the altar. There she was, sitting towards the back by herself. Surprisingly, Keeley didn’t ask her to be part of the bridal party. Since Roy only asked Ted and Beard to be his groomsmen, she felt she should keep it small as well. The smirk Sassy wore made you feel uneasy. As if you knew what her end goal was.
Across the altar, your eyes moved to where Ted stood, and to your surprise he was already staring at you. His cheeks flushed when you caught him, but his smile matched yours.
After the ceremony everyone headed to the reception. It was glamorous, perfect for Keeley. Once everyone gave their speeches you snuck away to the bar. The feeling of a warm hand against your back made you jump.
“Hi angel”, you knew that voice anywhere.
You spun around to see Ted there, hair neatly combed, mustache freshly trimmed. He must’ve noticed your admiration when his cheeks blushed once again.
“Hi, Ted. Dance floor get too busy for you?”, he chuckled at your response.
“Right on, LeBron. You know me, just busting out the dance moves.”, his statement made you both chuckle.
The bartender brought your drink as Ted moved closer to you to get out of the waiter’s way. He didn’t move from where he was pressed to half of your back, though. Instead, he brought a hand up to rest on your hip. As you sipped your drink, his thumb softly stroked where your dress showed your warm skin.
He leaned in to whisper in your ear, “So what’dya say we-“
“Ted!!”, Sassy’s voice was loud as she approached your other side. Ted’s hand didn’t move, if anything he actually held you tighter, which had you smirking into your drink.
“Well, Hi, Sassy.”
“I was wondering if you’d like a guest in your hotel room tonight? You know, like-“
Ted politely cut her off, “I’ll pass, Sassy. But I hope you have a fun night!”
“What?”, she sounded shocked at his opposition.
“No, thank you, Sassy.”, by now you’d ordered another drink as you sat in the middle of a now-awkward conversation.
“But I thought we had a thing going on? Is that not what we do?”, she sounded almost offended.
“We used to, but it’s not the same anymore-“ Ted’s hand lightly squeezed at your hip as he spoke. “I don’t think we need to continue all that, Sassy. But I wish you the best! There’s lots of guys here that would love to-“, although he stayed polite her expression was one of annoyance and possibly disbelief.
“You know what? That’s fine, Ted-“ she glanced at you as she cut him a clearly fake smile, “You two have a good night.”
You and Ted stayed silent as she walked away, and both let out a sigh of relief the second she was gone.
Ted let out a whistle, “Well that was-“
“Yeah”, you chuckled with him.
“Didn’t want a night with Sassy Smurf?”, you tried acting nonchalant but you were eager to hear what he had to say.
Ted glanced down to where his hand was still holding you before responding, “You know, uh- I don’t- I’m not really interested in that anymore.”
“No?”
“Somethin’ else I’d rather do with my night”, his smile was bright as you began to grin.
“Oh? And what’s that?”, you teased.
His eyes darted around the room before he leaned in, his breath hot on your ear, “Lemme show you, darlin’”.
You looked up to meet his mischievous eyes as you bit your lip in excitement.
No words were spoken as Ted led you out of the ballroom and through a hallway, into a small empty office. No words were needed, though. You’d follow Ted wherever.
Your eyes traveled over his figure and how well it filled out his suit while he shut the door, locked it, and pulled the blinds over the small window.
His hands were characteristically stuffed into his pockets as he looked at you with the same admiration.
“Y’look beautiful, y/n.”, you could tell he meant every bit of the word.
“Thank you. So do you.”
“Good for Roy and Keeley, huh?”
“Oh, yeah. It’s been a long time coming.”, you softly mused.
Ted only stared at you as you waited for him to respond.
“What was this for, Ted? Are you feeling okay?”
Ted let out a soft chuckle as he came closer to where you stood against the wall.
“Oh, me? I’m fine as frog’s hair, just needed a minute alone with you.”, his arms opened as he met your figure and you went into them without hesitation. They were strong and intentional in the way they held you to him. He pulled away slightly, but didn’t dare let go of you.
Before you could say another word, he leaned down and pressed his lips to yours. Both of his hands gently cupped your cheeks and his thumbs softly stroked the skin there.
There was no rush as your lips softly met, parted, and met again. It was slow and deliberate. Every move was calculated. When you breathed in, you could smell so much of him, you thought you’d get a high from it. Your hands grasped the sides of his tuxedo, holding him close. One of your hands moved up to softly stroke the side of his face, and your insides burst into flames at the way it made him sigh into your kiss.
Ted slid a hand to your hip and used the leverage to inch you backwards against the wall. You slid your hands under the coat of his tuxedo rubbing softly at his back and holding him to you. Ted’s lips, more wet now, pressed against the corner of yours as he whispered, “S’this alright?”.
“Mhm”, you hummed in agreement as his lips traveled across your jaw. The hairs of his mustache tickled, but all you could focus on was the warm, wet kisses he began pressing to your skin. It was your turn to let out a sigh as he made his way down your neck and to your collarbones before pausing at your ear.
Sure, you’d kissed before. You’d even had a couple makeout sessions, but it never went this far. This was new, and it had the hot feeling of desire pooling deep inside you.
“Only want you, y’know that?”
If the new sensation of him kissing your neck weren’t enough, the admission of his feelings almost sent you into shock.
Your mouth fell open as he continued to nip and lick at your pulse point.
When you didn’t respond, he stopped and pulled away to meet your eyes.
“Y/n? You okay?”
“Y-yeah I just… Feels good, Teddy..”
You could see him grow more confident from your words. You could feel him grow more needy against your hipbone.
“Can I- should we keep going? We can always-“, you stopped his words by pulling him back in. This time when your lips met his, your tongue darted out to tease the sensitive skin of his lips. You could feel his breath hitch as his head tilted to the side in an effort to return the gesture. The way he held your face felt so protective, like he needed you to know he only wanted you.
You grew hot as you both moved faster, and Ted let out the first moan as you reached a hand around to his lower back and used to pull his hips closer to you. It was unmistakable, how turned on Ted was from the way his bulge was firm against your hip. You pulled his face down to where your lips could ghost across his jaw and over to his ear.
“Can I touch you, love?”
A breathy whimper left Ted’s mouth.
“O-of course, only if you want t- oh..”, his words trailed off into a low moan as you softly cupped his bulge through his dress pants. Ted groaned in your ear, only encouraging you even more. Your fingers lightly stroked his cock and he moved to put a hand against the wall before bringing you in for another deep kiss. His tongue immediately began to search for yours, as if it were some holy grail.
The kiss was sloppy. It was wet, messy, driven by built up tension. You traced the zipper of his pants and toyed with the button, silently asking for permission to continue.
“Y/n.. please, hun. Shit..“
The fabric holding the button to the pants seemed as if it were about to pop off as you undid it. Ted’s cock was hot and heavy tucked into his briefs, and for a split second he stopped kissing you to let his head fall onto your shoulder. His lips lazily skirted across your collarbone before biting hard, causing you to give his cock a squeeze. The moan he let out in response was filthy, needy, almost desperate.
“More, Ted?”
“Shit- yes, honey, yes.”
Ted’s eyelashes mimicked butterflies as they fluttered closed. His head fell backwards once you took him into your hand. There were a million ideas of what you could do with him going through your head, but you knew soon enough someone would come looking for you. You needed to know you’d have the chance for more.
“Ted, wait-“
He immediately stiffened and began moving away from you, “Are you okay? Are you hurt?”
You softly chuckled at his concern, “No, no.. I just- I don’t want this to be it.. I just want to make sure we’re on the same page because if not then I think we should stop..”
“What page are you on?”
“I don’t want this to be a one time thing, but I don’t want you to think it’s without feelings either. I have feelings feelings for you.. and-“
Ted cut you off with a gentle kiss, “I hear ya, darlin’. I’m there too. Shoot, we can stop here if you want.”
You flashed him a wicked smile as you squeezed him once more and hummed at the soft groan he let out.
“Just wanted to make sure I’d have the chance to do this again, love.”
“You can do this all you- all you want, sweetheart.. mmm”
You’d pulled his cock out from where it was trapped beneath his boxers. Looking down between the two of you, your mouth was practically watering at the sight of it.
Thick, heavy, tall. A pink angry tip, neatly trimmed hair at the base. Practically begging for the slightest touch from you. It seemed so fitting for the man who was currently melting under your touch.
Leaning your head down, you let a drop of spit fall where your hand was stroking him. The sounds it made were crude, but only turned both of you on more. Ted shoved his face into your shoulder as his moans poured from his lips, but the more you touched him, the louder he grew.
“Ted,” You tilted his head up towards yours, “Gotta be quiet, baby. Don’t want anyone hearing you.. Just me.”
Ted let out a needy whimper against your lips, “Only you, only you- mm”
His words were muffled by your lips as you pulled him in for another kiss. Ted kissed you like it was his sole purpose in life. Hands holding you as close as he could, tongue swirling against yours, hips rocking softly into your hand. Your hand pumped his cock at a steady pace, you were desperate to watch him fall apart for you.
“Oh, m’close- fuck”, he groaned as your hand tightened around him before you pushed him away slightly.
Still stroking him, you sank to your knees.
“Baby you don’t have to..”
His words were breathy, and you could tell he was about to finish. Without a second thought, you placed your swollen lips on the top of his cock while your hand stroked the rest of him.
Almost immediately, hot spurts of his cum hit your tongue. You eased the rest of what you could fit into your mouth as Ted rode out his orgasm. Throaty groans left his mouth as his cock pushed deeper into your throat, and his hands had found a home on your head. You let out a moan of your own after swallowing his release, you’d spent many nights imagining having his cock in your mouth. The real experience was better than you imagined.
As Ted came down from his orgasm, you gently pulled your mouth off him. By the reaction he had from the handjob, you weren’t entirely sure he wouldn’t fall to the floor from a little overstimulation. Not that you wouldn’t want to go there later, but not at your best friend’s wedding.
The sound of the doorknob jiggling broke through the muffled conversations outside, and your heart almost fell out of your chest. You scrambled to stand up while Ted attempted to fix his pants.
“That’s not the bathroom!”, you heard from outside the door. Ted’s blown pupils met yours as you both sighed in relief.
No words were spoken as you both calmed your breathing. Ted’s hand slowly raised to move towards your face, “Oh, you’ve got a little uh..” his words trailed off as he swiped a stray drop of cum from your cheek.
You took his thumb in his mouth before he could do anything else with it, and the groan he let out had you wanting to pull him to the floor right now, wedding be damned.
“Darlin’..”, Ted exhaled.
“Hm?”
“Did you mean that?”
“Mean what?”, your eyebrows furrowed as his eyes looked around the room anxiously.
“The part about the uh- the feelings n’all that”, he sounded like he expected you to shoot him down. His shoulders visibly relaxed at the sound of your breathy chuckle.
“Of course, Ted. Meant every bit of it.”, he flashed you a nervous smile as you brought him in for a kiss.
This time when his lips met yours, he held you in a gentle embrace. When he pulled away his fingers smoothed your hair back into place as best as he could.
“M’glad. Been hoping you’d say that for a while.”
“It was hard finding the words, and then with all you’ve had going on.. I’d rather be here as your best friend who loves you than ruin our relationship because I went too far too fast. One question though..”, you spoke as you slowly moved towards the door. Ted followed you and nodded for you to continue.
“You meant it when you told Sassy no more?”, you cocked a flirty eyebrow at him, but he knew your words weren’t just flirty banter.
“Been meanin’ to do it sooner, actually.”
His words brought a hopeful grin to your face as you both snuck your way back into the wedding.

5:45AM
The alarm rings, I get up from the bed reluctantly, regretting the night before with those tequila shots.
_Pedro, why did you forget to shave yesterday?
I look at myself looking in the hotel mirror, dying to go back to bed.
_Can I shave without any cuts? It's been so long…
I take off my PJs and my phone vibrates with countless messages, it was her.
*Hi P. When will you be free? I want to see you. It's been a while...*
Even though I'm in another state... fuck it.
*Hi my love, I'm in New Mexico for work... what are your plans? *
While I let the steam of the hot water invade the bathroom, I wrap a towel around my waist and take a pic in the mirror and then send it.
*6 a.m., recording is what I have for today...*
I know her so well.
*Wow! What a hottie, I’m craving you now...*
I'm already late and need to shave it off, so I hold my phone on top of the sink and call her.
I can see that she's on the couch.
"Weren't you at home?" I ask raising an eyebrow and fixing the phone on the countertop
"I told you babe, I went out with friends, we went to a bar, but I'm already here and wanting you" she smiles and lowers the camera showing me the dress she wears.
_Does she need to be that hot?
"I would love to be there now, I have wonderful ideas of what I would do with you on this couch…"
I just look at her and move away, giving her a view of my shape, I take off the towel and open the shower door and enter, letting the hot water reach my body, giving me goosebumps for the temperature and for knowing that she is watching me.
"If I can't be with you on this couch, I thought you deserved a little show"
She squirms on the couch, biting her lip and just nodding her head without saying a word. I like the effect I have on her.
"Does that makes you horny, love? To see me like this?" I ask and squeeze my cock, my hand sliding slightly up and down
"Pedro, don't play with me like that!"
"Patience mama, patience" I say smiling.
An idea comes up, but I don't tell her, I just smile and as soon as I finish I pick up my phone
"Honey, I need to run, soon they'll be here calling for me, I can't be late"
"I know P, it's okay, call me back tonite." she smiles and we say goodbye, even if my cock protests wanting to feel that pussy, that mouth, I don't have time now.
As soon as I turn it off, I take the razor, the foam, moving the wet hair away from the forehead I face my reflex and start spreading the foam around my face.
It's been so long since I've taken my beard off that it takes me longer than necessary, taking care not to cut myself. As soon as I finish I feel different, a new Pedro maybe, the new look of the next few weeks, maybe months.
I take a pic and send her.
*This is Ted Garcia, nice to meet you. Please come and stay until Tues to spend my birthday with me? *
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
*JAVIER? Is that you?*
You fall asleep and wake up at 3pm
Was it a dream? _
No, you get your phone and see that it was real.
Without thinking too much, you buy a ticket for the end of the day and get any hotel in the same city as Pedro.
*I’m getting there at the end of the night, where can I meet you?*
Hours go by and no message from him.
You are already at the hotel so to wait for an answer from Pedro, you get dressed and go down to the hotel bar and order a drink, it's already late at night and no sign of him.
1 AM
*Mama, oh you already here? Exhausting day. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. Dream of me*
Yes, it's frustrating but you understand his side and try to sleep without thinking too much about the day to come.
Waking up early the next day you have your breakfast with mimosa and lots of good food.
*Good morning, Javier. I mean... Ted...oops Pedro! Can I be your informant today? 😏*
A few minutes a very direct message appears on the screen.
*Second trailer, in the corner my name is at the door😉.*
Arriving in the scenographic city that is not that scenic, until then no one prevents you from walking around there, despite being temporarily restricted. Maybe everyone thinks you're part of the cast, since you're wearing bootcut jeans, a white T-shirt and leather boots. Would you be an impostor? As soon as you approach the trailer, a security guard will block you.
“Credentials?”
"No, I just..." you stutter thinking about how to explain until Pedro opens the door of the trailer and smiles
"She is with me!”
Pedro extend his arm to you, helping you climb the steps, he pulls you into the trailer and locks the door behind you. You can barely say hi to him and you are pushed to the door.
He presses his body against yours, his left hand going up your thigh to your waist, where he pulls you closer.
You can feel his cock hardening against his jeans.
"Pedro..." You say softly as he lowers his mouth down your neck, it's a new feeling, still feeling the mustache pinch the skin, but also feeling the softness of his face. The smell of perfume, aftershave lotion. The smell of his skin.
"I know." Pedro holds your face, looking and smiling at you, so you observe how he looks younger without a beard, how beautiful he is, his hair a little messy, his dark eyes full of lust, his breath panting.
"Hi," he says laughing, sticking his forehead to yours.
You pull him by his shirt, his lips hitting yours, his hands climbing up the back of your neck scratching slightly. His hands going up under your blouse, his thumbs drawing circles on the skin, leaving you goosebumps.
You turn around and sit on the couch and look at Pedro.
“You said you had wonderful ideas of what to do with me on a couch, well...show me"
"Motherfucker..." Pedro comes pushing you to lie on the couch, spreading kisses down your neck, pulling the strap off of your shirt to suck on the skin where he knows it will be marked.
He puts his hand under your shirt, going up until he reaches your breast, squeezing over your bra, teasing your nipples while he keeps kissing your neck.
You say panting between kisses and bites "Go show me... what would you do to me on the couch, huh?"
"I have 15 minutes before go shooting, but I promise I'll show everything tonite"
He is on top of you on the couch, taking off your shirt, spreading kisses around your breasts then you hold the waistband of his pants running your fingers through the button and open it urgently. "Leave it like this..." pulling his cock out of his underwear.
He moves away a little by pulling his jeans at the height of his thighs and moving your panties to the side, sliding two fingers inside your wet pussy.
"Yeah, like that..” you say in the midst of moans.
Now he presses his thumb on your clit. He looks at you with a smile on his face.
You slide your hands through his hair, messing up even more, your hands going down his face, the skin so soft.
"Why you so hot...hm"
Pedro speed up the movements of his finger saying
“Tonight…”
He helps you remove your pants and you intertwine your legs around his waist holding him to you.
You look down, his cock is drooling precum, pink head and burning with horniness.
You take it at the base of his cock and guide it to your entrance in a hurry. A moan that he releases in your ear is enough to make you even wetter.
“You're going to fuck me like this on the couch... I want to see it in the hotel bed, Javier...”
"Are you really going to call me Javier?" Pedro laughs against your neck, his thrusts are slow and firm.
"I will, you haven't changed anything, so I can cal-- oh my God! Pedro!" You can't even finish the sentence the moment Pedro fucks you harder, he holds your legs raising almost the height of his chest. His cock hitting your G.
"More, I need more, please…"
Pedro runs his tongue through your collarbone going up until he finds your lips, biting his lower lip he looks you in the eyes and says..
"Ask me, beg for my dick, but say my name when you moan…"
You beg, you are so horny that you would do whatever he wanted, I would say what he said. You would just obey.
He moves far enough away to open his shirt, he is sweaty, red. You stretch your hand to touch him but he is faster and holds you by the hip making you get on all fours, your arms resting on the sofa, your nails scratching the fabric in search of relief.
Pedro holds your hip and you hear the sound of him spitting, hot saliva running down your pussy, he slide in his cock and holds your hair, pulling you to glue your back to his chest.
"Come on love, give it to me, I'm dying to feel this pussy squeezing me, cumming on my cock…"
He runs his right hand through your body, skillful fingers circling your clit. It only takes a few seconds for you to cum moaning his name, Pedro covering your mouth with his left hand in a failed attempt to muffle the sounds.
"That, one more, one more and I promise you won't regret waiting until tonite."
Pedro fingers you again, your orgasm burning in your stomach, making your body tremble against his.
"That's it, mama, just like that…"
He holds you by squeezing your breasts and punching harder Pedro cums inside you, moaning in your ear talking about how he fucking missed you and won't stop until you can't take it anymore.
You fall on the couch, panting, sweaty and satisfied, for now.
"I’ve missed you…" he pulls you and kisses you while caressing your nipple.
"Me too, and I can't wait for more. Dinner and party?"
He smirks and nods, agreeing, kissing you again.
Pedro gets up and helps you get dressed, and then gets dressed.
"Okay, Mr Hollywood, go to work. You're not going to fool anyone with the face of someone who just came inside me."
"I'm a great actor love, I won a SAG Awards, remember?" You laugh at the way he pretends to hold a trophy.
You say goodbye and you decide to walk around the city before going back to the hotel and waiting for it.
9:00PM
Pedro sends you a message saying that he is in the lobby, but you are not ready yet and ask him to come up and wait for you in the room for a moment.
_What stupid idea was that? _
You don't even worry about dressing up straight anymore.
The moment he enters your room he already pulls you by the back of your neck with one hand and climbs with the other by your right thigh leading you towards the bed.
You can't resist, you already knew this would happen. "Was that your plan?" You question.
Throwing you on the bed and unbuttoning your pants and pulling you by your legs, Pedro licks alternating on your inner thighs until he reaches your pussy pulling your panties aside. Licking lightly, with wet kisses over your clit.
It's an exciting torture to see him rubbing himself on the mattress while sucking your pussy, the vision is surreal.
Between a moan and another that the two release, you say
"Pedro, I don't know what's better, seeing you sucking me or you rubbing yourself on the mattress"
With no answer, he looks you in the eyes and spits in your pussy and sticks his tongue deeper.
And with a deep voice he orders
"Cum for me.”
You take his hand guide to your breast so that he squeezes your nipple. It's not enough for him. Pedro reachs out his other hand and has both of your nipples being squeezed and pinched while fucking you with his tongue.
You cum, so intensely sinking your fingers into his hair that are already wet with sweat.
He looks at you with wet lips and chin…
"That's priceless…." you say moaning lazily.
Pedro gets on his knees in bed, running his hand through his lips, cleaning the remnants of your arousal.
He pulls his shirt over his head, throwing it in a corner on the floor.
You support your elbows on the bed looking at his body. The smooth skin, broad shoulders, the freckles on his wide chest and the small stripe of hair going down the waistband of the pants where you can clearly see his bulge pressing against the jeans.
Without taking his eyes off you, Pedro opens his belt, slowly opening the two buttons and pulling the zipper down.
"Pedro... I want to…"
Pedro looks into your eyes and holds your ankles, caressing your skin and smiling at you, he says
"What, cariño? What do you want? Tell me and I'll give to you…"
You don't say anything, you just smile and get on your knees on the bed, pushing Pedro to bed, you hold the waistband of his jeans, your fingers playing with the edge of his underwear, feeling his skin shiver when your nails touch him.
You pull out your pants and throw them in the corner where his shirt is.
You settle in between his legs, your nails stroking through his thighs, up and down, you feel how his body is tense, impossible to ignore the perfect vision of Pedro lying down, his hands behind his head. As relaxed as he tries to look, you know he's anxious, his cock outline in his white boxer underwear, the small pre-cum stain.
You slide your hands until you almost touch his balls, Pedro sighs, his cock twitches against the fabric of his underwear, you smile and bring your face closer to his cock, slowly pulling his underwear making his cock jump on your face.
His hard cock, the pink tip dripping pre cum, the side vein pulsing non-stop, begging for touch.
You hold his cock by the base, raising your hand until your thumb spreads the pre cum at the tip, Pedro moans and reaches his hand to caress your face.
"Please don't make me wait any longer" Pedro begs softly
You hold his cock and first lick it, taking it all wet from the tip, sucking the tip of the cock feeling Pedro tangle his hands in your hair, you swallow his cock until you feel it in your throat. Pedro moans loudly and squeezes your hair
"Oh baby, like that, swallow all my dick like that, fuck!"
You jerk him off while sucking him, with your free hand you caress his balls, Pedro moans, the sounds that come out of his mouth are pornographic, making your pussy get even more wet. You think you could make fun just seeing him like this, destroyed.
You stop and look at him with desire.
"What?" He asks as he caresses your face.
"Can you dim the light? You're making me lose my mind..."
He dims the lights on the side of the bed and goes to the mini bar taking a bottle of champagne and opens it, taking a long sip.
_He walking hard in the middle of room is too much for me I can’t even speak_
He goes back to bed and leaves the bottle on the bedside table, he kneels between your legs and holds his cock by the base and slides up and down over your pussy, pushing against your clit. He moans seeing the way your pussy wets his cock.
"Do you want more?"
“Yes..”
"How much more?"
“Everything..”
So he bends down and kiss you distributing licks on your jaw and neck.
"Slow down?"
Pedro slides his cock with a low moan, his hands holding your hip firmly, he fucks you with short and firm movements.
"Faster?" He asks smiling
You just nod your head taking your arms around the back of his neck pulling him down.
He wraps his arms around your waist making you arch your back and thrust in it deep once, twice.
You moan with pain and pleasure at the same time trying to get used to his cock and his movements.
Wiping one hand across his forehead hand with his other on your ass he fucks you harder, the sound that echoes in the room of skin with skin is exciting along with your moans.
"Come to me, mama.."
He takes his dick off of you with a grunt.
Feeling that sudden emptiness Pedro puts you on all fours grabbing your ass, he slides inside you again.
Your already soaked pussy is an easy target.
He holds you with one hand by the hair and another hand rubbing your clit while licking your neck saying words in your ear that you already can't understand.
He stops moving and you see that he stretches his hand, wait, is he picking up the bottle?
You turn your head to the right and look at the mirror in the closet, your pussy throbs with the vision
Pedro holding your hip with his left hand, slowly putting his cock in you while his right hand holds the bottle, taking several sips. You moan when you see him sweaty, his hair sticking to his forehead, your eyes go down to his chest, his belly and your eyes stop where he is in you, his cock going in and out, the sounds that your bodies make.
He takes the bottle out of his mouth and looks at you in the mirror…
"Happy Birthday to me mama" he smiles and drops the bottle on the floor, not caring about the mess, Pedro holds your hips with both hands, and goes hard and faster.
"Oh Pedro, please please don't stop!"
He turns you around, pulling your legs and putting it on his broad shoulders, then shove into you again deep and fast.
"So, baby? That's how you like my dick? Opening you all up? Soaking all my dick? Tell me"
His voice is low, hoarse and horny, he's a mess.
You can't say anything but moans and supplications that he doesn't stop, you're so close, your legs start to shake.
Pedro suck on his thumb and rub it on your clit, making circular and torturous movements.
"Fuck! Please, Pedro fuck me..”
"Damn, I love it when you beg for my cock, beautiful! Cum for me, babe"
He keeps circling your clit, his strong and fast thrusts lead you to orgasm, shouting his name as he bends down and holds your neck kissing you, he says between moans
"Look at me, I want to cum looking at you"
Pedro's moans are as high as yours, you feel the hot jets of cum flood your pussy, the way his cock throbs inside you. The way he looks at you as he cums, his lips half open, eyes fixed on you, his hand on your neck making the grip stronger.
"Fuck!"
He falls on you, your legs circle him, holding him as close as possible, you kiss his face, feeling him give a little kiss on your shoulder.
"For a 49 yr old man you can tire me" you laugh and Pedro bites your shoulder and comes out of you, a moan escaping from his lips. He lies next to you, pulling you to lay your head on his chest.
"I think this is one of the best birthdays I've ever had" he smiles and kiss you.
"Come babe, let’s take a shower and order food, I won't leave here anytime soon."

Superstar (Roy's Version)
I couldn't help myself. I love this man too too much! Here's what Roy experienced during the Reader's first few weeks at Nelson Road.
Roy Kent x Reader
3.2k words
Warnings: Language, Roy being lovesick & slightly stalkerish in a rom-com way
The Superstar Series
~
“D’we really need a fucking assistant?” Roy asked again, staring at Ted incredulously, thinking, for the millionth time, that the gaffer was the nuttiest man he’d ever met.
Ted shrugged, far too used to Roy to point out that Roy’d asked him this three times in the past week. “Sure. Someone to help keep track of our schedules, emails, lots of stuff. That way we can focus on the beautiful game.”
To Roy’s surprise, Beard spoke up. “We had a student assistant back at Wichita. The kid was indispensable, always thinking of things we didn’t even realize would be useful.” He shrugged. “You’d be surprised.”
“Whatever.” Roy rolled his eyes and returned to his own office- the one he’d have to share now- and continued adjusting on the play he was working on in his black notebook. He knew he was more annoyed at adding someone new to the mix than he was about whether they needed extra help. He’d just gotten used to the Americans, just allowed himself to somewhat enjoy his after-work time with Jamie, and now Ted expected him to be okay with welcoming someone new into the office.
Wanker.
“Hope ya don’t mind sharing!” Ted’s voice slammed against Roy’s ears as the coach entered the office.
A lump formed in Roy’s throat as he glanced up. He should have asked more questions about this whole assistant thing so he could prepare himself. He’d been expecting some young, nervous guy like Will to be joining the staff; not this gorgeous woman standing in front of him, your wide eyes and slight flush only adding to your beauty.
Ted prattled on, oblivious to the sound of Roy’s heart slamming against his chest. “I’m sure you know this ray of sunshine here is Roy Kent.”
Ignoring the stupid butterflies that were forming in his stomach, Roy scowled and stuck his hand out. “You’re the assistant then?”
Your fingertips twitched as you connected your hand to his. “I-I am.”
Nope. Nope. He couldn’t do this. He needed to get the fuck out of here before he said something stupid or did something idiotic.
Roy pulled his hand back, wondering if you’d been able to feel his racing pulse. “Well, as long as you keep your shit off my desk and don’t wear any rancid perfume, we should be fucking fine.” Hating himself for being, well, Roy, he stood up, snatched the notebook off his desk, and trudged off, careful not to nudge you as he rushed past.
He didn’t stop until he was far down the hallway, away from those wide eyes, where he could lean against the wall and take some deep breaths.
Roy Kent was fucked.
~
He’d tried to put you out of his head the rest of the day. Tried to focus on training. Tried to focus on the plays he was meant to show Ted later in the week. Tried to focus on his drive over to the school to pick up Phoebe. Tried to focus on whatever the kid was yammering about. Tried to focus on the games they played while they waited for his sister to come pick her up. Tried to focus on the takeaway his sister had brought over so they could all eat together in Roy’s kitchen.
Brilliant as she was, his sister noticed. “What’s up with you?” she asked, eyebrow raised suspiciously.
He grunted and poked at his food. “Work shit,” he mumbled. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Phoebe add a new tally mark in her notebook. “Lasso decided we need an assistant to keep us organized and shit, so now I get to share my office.”
“Hmm.” A smirk played on his sister’s lips. “Don’t like him already? Poor fella.”
“Her,” Roy corrected without thinking. Fuck, he wished his sister had brought something spicy for dinner; that would have been a good explanation for the pink coloring he was sure his cheeks had now.
His sister’s eyes lit up. “Ah.” As if that explained everything. “She’s pretty then?”
Roy narrowed his eyes at his sister, unable to hide the small smile on his face. “Shut up,” he growled softly.
Her smile grew. “Oh man, she must be gorgeous. You’re so screwed.”
~
For two weeks, Roy avoided you- an impressive feat, considering you worked just across the tiny office. But the more he watched you, the stupider he felt.
You were hardworking. And kind. And funny. And fuck, the more he stared, the more he noticed little things about you that just worked to enhance your attractiveness. He should have known he’d snap eventually.
“D’you like kebabs?”
The words just came out. Despite the embarrassing amount of time he’d spent acting like a teenager, imagining the different conversations he’d initiate with you, it all went out the window at lunchtime. Instead, he blurted out the stupidest question he’d ever heard.
His pulse quickened when you paused your work and turned around. “Excuse me?”
Fuck. Even you thought he was an idiot.
You’re Roy fucking Kent. Act like it. He let out a heaving sigh as he turned his chair around, desperate to come across as uninterested and not the pining prick he felt himself becoming. “Kebabs,” he repeated slowly. “D’you like ’em?”
“Uh, I guess.” Even with your face crinkled in confusion, he still felt like he was going to have a heart attack every time he looked at you.
Not that he could let you know. “You guess?” he repeated, trying to hold back laughter at your adorably puzzled expression. “You either fuckin’ like them or you don’t.”
“Fine, fine, I like kebabs.”
He could see the smile in your eyes, even if it didn’t reach the rest of your face. He loved it. It was enough to get him on his feet. “Okay.”
Before Roy knew it, he was walking through the halls of Nelson Road, hanging onto a takeaway bag like it was a lifesaver. He’d never brought anyone lunch before. Heck, he’d never brought anyone anything before. But here he was, suddenly turned into your personal fucking delivery service.
When he walked into the office, you were again bent over your laptop, not looking up at the sound of his footsteps. Roy wasn’t surprised though; he’d learned quickly that when you were focused, it was a bit hard to divert you.
He pulled out one of the Styrofoam containers and dropped it onto your desk, wincing at the slam. When you looked up at him, he went into a scowl, hoping you wouldn’t notice the unevenness of his breathing.
“Thanks, Roy.”
Fuck. He loved the way you said his name. After all those years of having it screamed by coaches or chanted by fans, it sounded so soft, so gentle coming out of your mouth. A mouth he really needed to stop staring at.
He quickly averted his eyes to your desk. It was neat, tidy. He paused when he saw a framed photo of you, an older couple, and two teenage boys standing amid large trees.
“That your family?”
Your gaze followed his. “Oh, yeah. My folks and brothers. They live not far from here. We grew up huge Richmond fans.”
Ah. That was why you always looked nervous around him. Your family were fans. Nothing more.
Roy couldn’t resist the next question that tumbled out of his mouth. “What, no pictures of your boyfriend?” He prayed he didn’t sound too interested. “Is he fuickin’ ugly or somethin’?”
He had to be imagining the flush in your cheeks. “No boyfriend. What about you? I don’t see your model of the week on your desk.”
Your cheekiness took him by such surprise that he couldn’t resist a tiny smile. “I’m too fucking old for that shit now.”
“Uh huh.” You looked like you’d malfunctioned. “I like kebabs.”
That was it. The moment he didn’t know he’d been waiting for his whole life. He felt like a colossal bolt of lightning had fucking punched his heart. With three little words barely squeaked past your lips, Roy Kent was a fucking goner.
~
Ted poked his head into Roy’s office, clutching a manila envelope. His face faltered slightly when he saw your empty desk. “Shoot, she took off early, didn’t she?” Roy grunted in response. “That’s right. She said somethin’ about a birthday dinner.” He sighed, glancing down at the envelope. “Well, I can give this to her on Mon-”
“I can take it to her.”
Roy didn’t know why he said that. He never volunteered to do anything extra, let alone something that would have him running around on a Friday night. But the idea of seeing your face, of getting a glimpse of you before being separated by the weekend he always found himself dreading these days, had made his mouth act without his brain.
Ted stared at him for a moment, his mustache giving a small twitch. “Aw, you really don’t gotta do that Roy. It’s not a big deal, honestly.”
“It’s fine,” Roy grumbled, not quite looking at the man.
Something sparkled in Ted’s eyes; Roy ignored it, the way he ignored most things about Ted. “Alright, well if you insist.” He handed Roy the envelope. “Do you need help pulling up her address? I could even go with you if you want.”
“Fuck no.” His answer was too quick. “I, um, she told me whereabouts she lives. I’ve got it.”
“Hmm.” Ted smiled at Roy, a soft, knowing smile that made Roy’s insides squirm. “Well, if you’re sure you’ve got it.” He waggled his fingers at Roy. “I’m sure you’ll have a great weekend, Roy.”
Roy frowned as Ted left, tailed by Beard, who gave Roy a playful smirk as well. Wankers.
He sighed as he packed up his things into his bag, wondering what the fuck he’d just signed himself up for. As he settled into the front seat of his car, he pulled out his mobile, trying to figure out what to do. He wished he had your number, but he’d never figured out the right way to ask. Maybe he should have asked Ted for help.
As he gazed as the black screen, a small ping filled the silence. He frowned and unlocked the phone; it was a Snapchat from Ted, sharing a photo of his beer with Beard in the background. Just as Roy was about to roll his eyes, he realized something. You were in that group chat. Tapping quickly, he found what he was looking for: your Snapchat location.
Ignoring the fact that he felt like an absolute fucking stalker, he started the car and headed towards the neighborhood on the screen. He zoomed in as much as he could before realizing that he couldn’t pinpoint exactly which house was yours. Fuck.
Alright, fine. He could handle this. Roy parked and grabbed the stupid manila envelope, taking one more look at the map on his phone. His mind wandered to the movie his Yoga group liked to watch together at Christmastime. Yeah, he could do this. If that spindly wanker Hugh Grant could go door to door in search of his dream girl, so could Roy fucking Kent.
He took a deep breath and approached the first door. Just fucking do it. He knocked, steeling himself for the moment you opened the door.
Except it wasn’t you. And neither was the next one. He was about halfway up the street when he started to lose his resolve. If he had to say “Yeah, I’m Roy Kent” one more time, he was going to slam his face into a wall over and over until he passed out.
With a heaving sigh, he approached the next house. He fully expected yet another granny or pimply preteen.
His face burned when he saw you.
Quickly recovering, he pushed his way inside, pretending his mind wasn’t reeling. “We should really put a fucking tracking device on you.”
“Um, not to be rude, but why are you here? At my mum and dad’s house?”
Oh. This wasn’t your house; it was your parents’. Roy couldn’t help but feel slightly disappointed that he didn’t get to see your home. But he couldn’t let you know that.
“Some papers Lasso wanted you to work on if you can this weekend. Said it was important. I dunno, I don’t fucking listen to him when he yammers,” Roy lie, lie, lied.
“Oh. And how-how did you know where I was?” Roy’s heart fluttered when he saw the way you fidgeted as you spoke. Why were you nervous?
Roy acted as if his heart wasn’t aching at the sight of you. “You’re one of those idiots that has their Snapchat locations on. You’re gonna get fucking murdered one of these days y’know.”
The grin you wore could bring a man back from the dead. “And you’re gonna murder me?”
As if you didn’t murder him with that smile every fucking day. “Not today.” He couldn’t help his own smile. “But apparently if I wanted to, you’d be easy as hell to find.”
“I’ll just have to keep being a good officemate then,” you hummed, the teasing tone in your voice sending Roy’s heart into overdrive.
Without thinking, he took a step towards you, his voice rough and uncharacteristically flirty. “You’re doing a fine job so far.”
This was it. He was going to finally make his move. He was Roy fucking Kent, after all. All he had to do was grab you and kiss you.
But instead, he was tackled by a very enthusiastic father and dragged into an admittedly delicious birthday dinner. Although the domestic scene wasn’t one that he typically found himself him, Roy couldn’t help but revel in the opportunity to sit close to you, your arm brushing his far too often to be a coincidence. In the back of his head, he even allowed himself to imagine this as a regular occurrence, having dinner with your family. But he was getting far too ahead of himself.
As dinner transitioned into dessert, you excused yourself to go upstairs to grab something. Roy could have stayed at the table, hanging out with your family, charming your mother, and answering more questions from your brothers, but his stupid giant crush got the better of him. He awkwardly asked for directions to the bathroom and was pointed upstairs.
He took the stairs two at a time, at least as much as his shit knee would let him, trying to figure out what he’d say once he was face to face with you. He wasn’t sure you liked him, but he couldn’t help but hope that he wasn’t too grumpy, too old, too past his prime for a girl like you.
The muttering he heard from an ajar door pointed him in the right direction. He nudged the door open and saw you, on the floor, clearly searching for something. Before he could say anything, he took a look around the room. What he saw made his heart nearly stop.
Holy shit.
Roy Kent had never seen so many photos of himself in one location in his life. This would be a normal girl’s room if it weren’t for all the football posters covering every square inch of wall- most of them featuring his scowling face. He was sure he even saw Sharpie hearts scrawled all over the one in the corner near the window.
This had to mean something, right?
Trying to keep cool, he mumbled, “Ah, this isn’t the fucking loo.”
The panic on your face made Roy melt. He wanted nothing more than to reach out and touch your mortified face, to tell you that it was cute, that he wished he had a room full of posters of your gorgeous face.
Instead, he closed the door behind him and stepped forward. “Why the fuck are there so many pictures of me in this room?”
You stood up, fidgeting worse than he’d ever seen anyone. “I, uh, I told you. My family’s huge Richmond fans. You’re kind of our favorite player. Hence, my dad’s excitement when he saw you.”
Suddenly feeling bold, probably for the first time since he met you, Roy stuffed his hands in his pockets and took another look at all the posters of himself. “So… does that mean I’m your favorite too?”
His heart fluttered as he watched your blush deepen. “I… I mean… I guess.”
Unable to look at you anymore, lest he grab you and kiss you heatedly, Roy’s gaze fluttered upwards. Now he was sure his heart had stopped.
A room full of posters of him was one thing. A poster of him above your bed? Fuck, that was hot.
“Is that a fucking poster of me above your bed?”
Your squirming figure was never more attractive to him. “Oh, you know, gotta keep the monsters away somehow.”
That caught him off-guard. He couldn’t help the laugh that bubbled past his lips. Fuck, you were funny sometimes. “That’s what I’m good for? Scaring away fucking monsters?”
He felt like an arse for laughing when he saw the humiliation as you covered your face and flopped onto your bed. Your voice sounded so small. “Please don’t tell anyone. This was my room when I used to live here, I was a dumb kid. I swear to God, my flat is normal. A normal adult flat.”
Your panicked babbling was adorable.
Roy sat beside you, trying not to think too hard about the fact that he was on your bed. The bed with a poster of himself right above it, a poster you probably spent all of your teen years staring at before falling asleep.
He was relieved when you looked over at him. He knew he had to say something. “Hey, no need to be fucking embarrassed.” He glanced up at the poster. It was a damn good picture, one from his Chelsea days. “Can’t say I blame you. I was young and hot.”
Your grin was worth the self-deprecating comment. “You’re not that much older now, Kent.”
The implication made him forget how to breathe. “I’m still hot then?” He couldn’t wait for an answer before he leaned in close and cupped your face. “Please say yes,” he heard himself rasp, not caring how desperate he sounded.
He could hardly believe his ears when you whispered, “Yes.”
That was all he needed. He pressed his lips to yours and felt you melt against him. Feeling your body press against his, Roy reminded himself that this was a first kiss, that he should keep things small, sweet, chaste. Hopefully there would be time for other kinds of kissing later.
The giggle you released was the greatest sound he’d ever heard. He smiled, probably a big, stupid smile, and prepared to ask you about maybe going on a date-
“Oi!” The knocking on the door nearly made him jump. “Mum and Dad want to know if you’re snogging Roy Kent in there!”
Roy felt like a bashful teenager as he smiled at you. “Don’t suppose I can tell your brother to fuck off?” he joked.
He liked the laughter he saw in your eyes. “’d rather you didn’t.”
“Well then.” Figuring that this was the end of this particular moment of romance, Roy stood and took your hand to pull you to your feet. “Guess we should go have some fucking cake,” he joked. His gaze lingered on the poster of himself, the one above your bed. “You should bring that thing to work sometime. I can fucking autograph it if you want.”

you looked back at me once (but I looked back two times)
summer sleepover masterlist

an : the anon who requested this was so right when they said it screams ted I acc can’t think of anyone else in the world it’d fit better
Tumblr media
“So it’s only feasible to get it done Tuesday, if that’s okay with you guys?” Though you tried your best not to make your way down to the coaches office until lunch time, today you had to go on business, driving you to be down there bright and early at 8am.
Roy, Beard and Ted had been nodding along to everything you said, each taking your words into account and trying to figure out how they could rearrange their plans to fit it in to their schedule. Roy, naturally, was the first to disagree with your change of plans. “Can’t do Tuesday. I need-“
“I can pick Phoebe up from school.” You assured, fingers drumming against the back of your clipboard. “She can come hang out in my office while we wait for you to finish up.”
Roy clearly hadn’t expected a response to that, nodding his head with a half-scowl on his face.
Beard was the next to query the change of plans, his hands raised above his head waiting for your permission to speak. “It won’t interfere with your dentist appointment, Beard. We won’t need you until 2pm at the earliest, so you’ll have plenty of time to get there.” Beards hand went back to his side as quickly as he raised it.
When you turned to the other coach in the office, waiting for a question or query from him, you were met with silence. Ted was staring up at you with the most doe eyed look you’d ever seen. His chin rested against the back of his interlocked fingers and his head was tilted so he could look directly at your face. Not a single thought was running behind those eyes and if you weren’t trying to make sure things would run smoothing you’d have found it ridiculously cute.
“Ted? Any feedback?”
It took him a good second to regain awareness of his surroundings, but when he had, that lovesick smile returned to his face. “Not at all darlin’, it’s absolutely perfect.”
“You’re sure?” Ted’s mind was so filled with you that he couldn’t think of anything else, but judging by the wicked smile that was curled on your lips, you clearly had. “Not even the fact you were meant to be going for dinner with Trent Crimm Tuesday?”
He’d totally forgotten about dinner with Trent, but he was sure the journalist wouldn’t mind the fact he had to reschedule. “I wouldn’t know what I was doing without you sweetheart. Do you mind calling up Trent and rescheduling?”
“You got it coach.” With a salute, you left the coaches office, the three coaches waiting for the clack of your shoes against tile to stop before they spoke.
“You’re in love with them.” Beard immediately accused, pointing his finger at Ted. “And don’t try and deny it, you weren’t even paying attention to the conversation, you were just staring at them.”
Ted turned to Roy, hoping to find reassurance that he’d played it cool when you’d entered the office and not made a total fool of himself. “Looked like a fucking puppy, you did.”
One day Ted would be brave enough to do more then just admire you when you walked into a room. And although today had not been that day, with each time he saw you, he knew that day was getting closer and closer.

May I please request a Rebecca/Y!N where YN is deaf? Maybe Rebecca bumps into her in the club and gets annoyed cause she won’t say anything. Maybe YN is a friend of Ted’s.
I don’t really have any more of an idea then that I’m sorry 🥺 just would like to see a deaf YN like me 💕💕
I LOVE this idea!!!
Thank you so much for the request! I hope I'm able to do the deaf/hard of hearing community justice with this one!💕
I myself am not part of the community, but I've taken ASL throughout high school and college and one of my best friends is deaf/hard of hearing so I hope I can do a decent job portraying y/n💕
The music is so loud Rebecca can feel the bass in her chest. She moves through the crowd making her way to the bar, weaving in and out of people. She sees you out of the corner of her eye, but doesn't act fast enough before the two of you run straight into each other.
"Oi!" Rebecca says, shooting a glare your way.
Taken back, you look at the woman you just ran into, you can see the glare in her eyes so you put your hands up in a "sorry" gesture and continue on your way.
"She didn't even say sorry, unbelievable." Rebecca grumbles to herself as she heads to the bar.
You can see your friend Abigail and she waves in your direction, you wave back and weave through a few more people before getting to her.
"There you are!" Abigail signs. "I'm so happy you made it!"
"Thanks, I'm so happy you invited me! I love being here, the music is so loud I can feel the bass, it's so much fun!" You sign back.
"What was that woman's issue? I saw her glare at you."
"We bumped into each other on accident, I don't know what she said, but she didn't look too happy."
"What a bitch."
You laugh out loud at that. A few patrons of the club stare at you and your friends as you sign but you're all so used to people staring that none of you even give it a second thought.
Rebecca gets her drink and heads back to the VIP section where the rest of the team, Ted, Coach Beard, Roy and Keeley included, are.
"I cannot believe how incredibly rude some people are these days." Rebecca says, sitting down next to Keeley.
"What happened love?"
"Some girl ran straight into me and didn't even say sorry! She didn't say anything! She just looked at me and kept walking. Unbelievable." She says as she takes a sip of her drink.
"Well that's fucked, I'm sorry she did that!"
"It truly astonishes me how kids today have no manners." Rebecca grumbles.
Abigail pulls you onto the dance floor and the two of you dance to the beat of the music you can both feel in your chests. Feeling the beat fade, signaling the song ended, it picks back up and you start to feel the vibration under your feet. As you focus on the feeling, the bass kicks in and you feel it in your chest, you recognize the beat and it's one of your favorite songs. Looking over at Abigail she realizes it too and the both of you acknowledge the others excitement and dance more.
After a few songs Abigail waves at you and gets your attention.
"Do you want to get a drink?" She signs.
"Yes!" You sign back.
The two of you head over to the bar and you type out what you want and show your phones to the bartender. The two of you have been here a few times already and the bartenders recognize you. It's not like there's too many deaf girls who frequent the club so the two of you are easily recognizable and the bartenders expect you to hand them your phones when you order.
The bartenders type out the total and after you get your drinks and pay, you both begin to head back to the spot you were occupying before. As you cross the club you feel a tap on your shoulder. Turning around, you're met with the biggest smile and you immediately recognize it, it's Ted Lasso, the coach of AFC Richmond.
"Hi y/n!" Ted slowly signs.
"Ted! How are you?" You slowly sign back.
You met Ted a few months ago at the coffee shop you visit almost every morning. He tried to make small talk as he was waiting for his coffee and you were able to let him know you were deaf. Expecting him to mouth "sorry" and walk away, you began to turn back to look out the window and he held up his hand in a "one second" gesture and took out his phone. He immediately typed out "My name is Ted Lasso, what's yours?"
The two of you talked like that for a bit until your orders were done and went your separate ways. Next time he saw you in the coffee shop, he pulled out his phone and typed out "Good morning y/n! How are you?"
Since then, every time he saw you he made it a point to talk to you. It's nothing you've ever experienced before, especially from a hearing person that doesn't know any sign language. Slowly he began asking you to teach him some signs and to your surprise, he picked up on it really quickly. Although he's so animated it really wasn't that much of a surprise. You really liked Ted, he was as genuine and friendly as he came off and you began to consider him a friend of yours.
"I'm here with the team!" Ted signs. "Come meet them!"
He takes you and Abigail into the VIP section and begins to introduce you to the team.
"Everyone, this is my friend y/n." Ted says as he signs. "Y/n here is deaf so I'm gonna try my best to sign to her so she can understand what the heck is going on. Y/n, this is the team! We got Colin, Issac, Coach Beard, Roy Kent, Keeley, Jamie and, hold up, where's Rebecca?" Ted spots her and calls her over. "Rebecca! Come meet my friend, y/n."
Rebecca's eyes widen when she sees you, the girl that bumped into her without saying anything.
"Rebecca, y/n, y/n, this is Rebecca. Y/n is deaf so I'm gonna do my best to interpret what I can."
Rebecca's face fades from surprised to mortified. She had no idea you were deaf and didn't hear her, now it makes sense why you didn't say anything.
"Wow she's hot!" Abigail signs. You smack her on the arm and she looks at you. "What? They don't know what I'm saying!" You roll your eyes at her and look back at Rebecca, a slight blush creeping it's way across your cheeks.
Ted invites you to hang out with the team for the rest of the night and the two of you take him up on your offer. The team huddles around you and Abigail, they're fascinated with sign language, most of them have never seen it being used before. The boys ask you all kinds of questions, how to sign certain things, how to spell their names. Neither you or Abigail were expecting your night to go this way, but the two of you actually had a really good time. It was nice to see real interest and fascination from a group of hearing people instead of feeling judged or having them stare at you like you're a wild animal.
"Okay so how do you spell Rebecca?" Ted signs. "Rebecca, get over here!" He says while signing. That was another thing you liked about Ted, as soon as you told him that it's inclusive and important to sign when you speak so everyone can understand what's happening, he never spoke without signing around you again.
Rebecca sheepishly stands next to Ted and you scoot over, allowing her to sit next to you. Showing her how to sign Rebecca, it takes a minute but she finally gets it down.
"Good job! You're a fast learner!" You sign while Ted translates. There are times you have to fingerspell signs that Ted doesn't know, but you don't mind. Plus, after a few times he picks up the signs and does a really good job at remembering them.
"Ted, can you translate something for me?" Rebecca asks him, a guilty look crossing her face.
"Yeah, of course boss." Ted says and signs.
"I'm sorry for how I treated you before." Rebecca says. "I didn't know you were deaf, I just assumed you were rude. That was very ignorant of me." Ted pauses and fingerspells "ignorant" because he doesn't know the sign and you giggle a little. "I hope you can forgive me." Rebecca says as Ted finishing interpreting.
"Thank you for apologizing." You sign. "I forgive you."
Rebecca smiles at you and you return the smile.
The rest of the night goes really well, you all had a lot of fun and Ted and Rebecca invite you to next weeks game. Both you and Abigail are thrilled and can't wait.
"Dude, she was so hot!" Abigail signs as you leave the club.
"Oh my god right?! She was beautiful."
"She kept checking you out."
"No she wasn't!"
"She absolutely was!"
You roll your eyes and start to walk ahead of her, not wanting to listen to what she's going to say. Abigail pulls you back towards her and signs to you.
"She was! I'm not joking! The look she had in her eyes when she looked at you wasn't the kind of look you'd give someone teaching you sign language. It was the kind of look you give someone when you want to jump their bones!"
"There is no way!"
"There is! Keep an eye out at the game, I promise you, I'm right."
And how right she was. While you were at the game you kept noticing how Rebecca would glance over at you every so often. You did your best to keep her from seeing you look at her, but you definitely noticed her checking you out on more than one occasion. During halftime you decided to show her a few more signs, you made it a point to adjust her fingers or her hands, just to see how she'd react to your touch. Her micro expressions told you everything, she seemed into you, and as shocked as you were, you were also really excited.
As the weeks went on, you made up excuse after excuse to visit Richmond hoping you'll get to see Rebecca. You suggested to Ted that you would teach the team and staff sign language once a week because of how important it is to be able to communicate in sign language. Ted was over the moon about the idea and even Rebecca seemed excited.
The classes began and even though you communicated only through sign language, you were both surprised and impressed with how quickly everyone picked up on it. You even began noticing the team use sign language during games to communicate with each other. Seeing that brought you so much joy and made you so proud of how much they've learned. It also made you proud of yourself for being able to teach them so much, it was a really good feeling.
"Would you like to get a drink after class?" Rebecca signs one day before you started your weekly lesson.
"I would love that!" You signed back.
Nerves began to flood your system, you've noticed Rebecca had become flirty with you a few weeks ago and you slowly started flirting back. It was all but painfully obvious to everyone but you did your best to let it go under the radar. Teaching the team was something you looked forward to every week, but tonight you couldn't wait for the class to end.
It felt like it dragged on for hours, but the class finally finished and you walked up to Rebecca.
"Where did you want to get drinks?" You asked.
"I have wine up in my office if that's okay with you?"
"Perfect!"
The two of you head upstairs to her office and she tells you to take a seat as she crosses the room and grabs two wine glasses and a bottle from a little cabinet against the wall.
"Is this wine okay?" She asks when she puts the bottle down.
"Yes! I love this wine."
"Great!"
Rebecca fills the two glasses and goes to pick up her glass but stops and signs. "To new beginnings!" She signs and then picks up her glass. The two of you gently clink the glasses together and take a sip.
The conversation was a little slow, given that Rebecca still doesn't know a lot of sign language, but to your surprise, it didn't bother you. You loved talking to her, even when she struggled to remember signs or when she had to fingerspell words. Just being around her brought you immense joy. The more the two of you talked, the more wine you drank and the closer you ended up sitting together on the couch.
The closer you got the stronger her perfume was and the smell was more intoxicating than the wine. You were able to look deeply into her gorgeous green eyes and see all the emotion, the depth behind them. Rebecca was beautiful, you don't think that there's a person on this earth that would disagree with that. But the more you got to know her, the more you realized that her beauty is far more than skin deep, she was just as beautiful, if not more, on the inside.
Even though she was signing as she spoke, you couldn't help but focus on her lips. Yeah, you could lip read, but that's not why you were staring at them. Truthfully, you didn't even know what she was saying. The only thing in your mind was that you were wondering if her lips were as soft as they looked, how would they feel on yours? You were snapped out of your thoughts when she waved at you, bringing you back down to earth.
"Sorry." You sign as you began to blush.
"What were you looking at?" She asked.
In any other situation, you would lie your ass off, but you weren't sure if it was because of the wine, her perfume, or because every time you looked at her, your heart and stomach did backflips. Whatever the reason, you replied "You." Rebecca looked at you for a moment and you signed "Sorry, but you're so beautiful, I got lost staring at you."
This time it was Rebecca's turn to blush. She looked away for a moment before turning back to you.
"I think you're beautiful too." She signed.
A look of shock must have crossed your face because Rebecca's head leaned backwards and she let out a laugh. You were only able to hear a muffled version of it, but even that was such a beautiful sound.
"You do?" You signed.
"Yes, absolutely. Did you not know I've been flirting with you for a few weeks now?"
"I did, but I didn't know if I was making it up in my head or not."
"You were not, because I was." Rebecca leans in closer as she signs.
Whatever the vibe of the room was, it changed into a charged atmosphere in an instant. Your heart was beating so hard you could have sworn she was able to hear it. Rebecca tucked a piece of hair behind your ear and gently cupped your face, her thumb caressing your cheek. Without realizing it, you leaned into her touch and a smile crossed your face. The two of you locked eyes and held each others gaze for a few moments, Rebecca broke it when her eyes flickered down to your lips for a second and then back up to you.
She pulls away and your heart sinks, there's a part of you that is so worried that even if she likes you, the fact that you're deaf would be enough reason for her not to pursue you. It's happened before and no matter how many times it does, it hurts every time. Rebecca picks up her hands to sign and you watch them intensely.
"Can I kiss you?" She signs.
Your breath hitches in your chest for a second, never in a million years did you think that that's what she was going to say. Without bothering to sign back, you slide your hand to the back of her head and gently pull her into you. She doesn't fight it, she actually leans forward and your lips finally meet hers.
Out of all of the people that you've kissed in your life, never have you felt a first kiss as electric as this. Your whole body felt like it burst into flames as a spark shot through you. Her lips were softer than you ever could have imagined, so much so that you actually moaned a little into the kiss. You froze for a second, but Rebecca only smiled and kissed you harder. She gently sucked on your bottom lip and you parted them, allowing her to slide her tongue into your mouth. Your tongue caressed hers as it danced around, Rebecca slid her fingers into your hair and gently grasped it, deepening the kiss.
Time both flew by and stood still in that moment, you weren't sure if the kiss lasted three seconds or three hours. Either way, it was the best kiss of your life. When your lips finally parted, you gently took Rebecca's bottom lip between your teeth and pulled at it as you separated. She gave you the sexiest smirk you've ever seen and it took all of your self control to not pull her in for another deep kiss.
The two of you sat there panting a bit, just looking into each others eyes before Rebecca signed something.
"You're beautiful, y/n."
"So are you, Rebecca." And with a confidence you've never had before in your life, you asked her out. "Do you want to go on a date with me?"
She sat there for a moment, a little surprised. You began to worry that you overstepped and the second she caught wind of your facial expression she replied "I would love to."

Trent Crimm means so much to me, and the way that he was portrayed is so important to me. I'm not sure if it was intentional but I relate to him heavily as an autistic person. I really love Trent Crimm. And I just wanted to let out this little infodump about why he means so much to me.
I love Trent's dedication to his career. It's something that I really relate to, and him making his special interest (writing) his career is something I find really admirable.
I love his stimming (the tapping fingers in his pockets, the awkward way of standing, the fiddling with his glasses and rocking every so often), and I love his use of eye contact (or lack there of in some situations). I love that he isn't afraid to be himself.
I love that we see him struggle to manage with sudden loud noises, and I love that we see him struggle to communicate with people when emotions become too involved. I love that he's got a monotonal expression and is shown to be an observer.
I love that we meet Trent as a journalist that is perceived to be stoic and stone-faced, who then turns out to be justice driven and fair with his opinions. I love that he learns to be braver in his convictions about people because of Ted. I love how much he admires Ted's way of living, and I love that he stands up for ethics. I love his strong sense of justice and his ambition to do the right thing, even if it isn't the easy option.
I love that, despite having a job where conversing with other people is a necessity, Trent is shown to be awkward and a little uncomfortable when talking to people. I love that he is shown to struggle with socialising and struggles to pick up on social cues (like suggesting a bunch of footballers go to a museum in Amsterdam, y'know).
I love that we see Trent unmask in the Total Football episode, where he shows his excitement and stims and info-dumps. I love that Ted, and Beard, and Roy don't make him feel embarrassed for dropping the mask. Sure, Roy calls him a dork but Trent is a dork. And he's not shown to be ashamed of that. I love that.
But what I love most about all of this - and about Trent - is that he's never made to feel lesser because of any of this. He just is who he is. I love that he never shies away from who he is.
I just really love Trent Crimm. And I love that I can relate so heavily to him as an autistic person. And, for that, I'd like to thank James Lance; whether it was intentional or not, thank you.

Merry Sexy Christmas
Tumblr media
Request: yk how keeley and roy have sexy christmas, maybe y/n gets some inspo from keeley and surprises a ‘tired from work’ ted with sexy red lingerie and his mood automatically changes
Description: Inspired by Keeley, you decide to give Ted an early Christmas present ahead of Henry's arrival.
Warning(s): porn with almost no plot, smut, oral (f receiving), ted can't get over nipples, ted lasso loves eating out
Pairing: Ted Lasso x reader
Word Count: 2k
A/N: okay so this was supposed to be short, hence being written in blurb format with no capitalization and more casual sentences. but then i was really horny and accidentally wrote 2 thousand words. so i'm not changing the format, you gotta deal with my unedited blurb mistakes but please enjoy horny holiday ted
-
you and keeley were out for girls' night, both of you a drink or two in before she remembers that she forgot to go shopping that day for sexy christmas, "oh shit, i need to run to the shop before they close! will you come with?" you agree because duh, keeley is your best friend, you're not even sure what kind of shop you're going to, but of course you'll go with her.
so when the two of you arrive in front of her favorite lingerie boutique, you're incredibly confused, "um, what exactly are we shopping for keels?" she giggles as she pulls you into the shop, "sexy christmas, y/n. come on, help me choose what to get." having come with beard and ted to richmond when they were signed on, the american in you was incredibly confused, was this a british tradition you some how hadn't heard of your past two christmases here?
"sexy huh?"walking over to a table of thongs, keeley just laughs at your reaction, picking up some pairs to inspect them as she answers your question, "sexy christmas, it's mine and roy's tradition. we both dress sexily and surprise each other, celebrating the holiday by basically having sex all over the house." she turns to you with a smirk, "you should try it with the gaffer."
you chuckle lightly, a blush covering your cheeks, sure you and keeley talk about your sex lives but out of respect for ted who is also friends with keeley, you don't often share explicit details. you especially don't tell her about any special foreplay ted is into, however, it is hard to ignore the fact that the shop has plenty of red lacy garments for the season and that is ted's favorite color on you. you shake away the thought, it wouldn't work, "no, henry is coming for christmas, you know that. there's no way to do that."
keeley shrugs as she walks over to the bralettes, "yeah, but doesn't he get here on christmas eve? that means you have all of tomorrow until you pick him up the next day. seems like plenty of time to me." she was right, it was only the evening of the 22nd, sure ted was having breakfast with beard tomorrow to bookend the year, but you had the rest of the day. you simply hum in response as you begin to look more at the items in the store, keeley sending a knowing smirk your way.
an hour later, you and keeley exit the shop, hugging each other and wishing happy holidays, though you would be seeing each other on boxing day at the team holiday get-together. you smile to yourself as you walk home to the flat you share with ted, thinking about how you would surprise him the next day. you giggle to yourself at the fact that what you purchased is so small that you can fit it in your purse to sneak it past ted. you get home and give him a kiss before hurrying to the bedroom, hiding your purchase in your dresser before changing into one of ted's shirts and joining him on the couch to watch a christmas film.
the next day, you wake up to ted leaving a light kiss on your forehead, the man whispering "i love you" before coaxing you back to sleep. once you hear the front door shut though, you fight against sleep, getting out of bed and starting your day. you and ted didn't keep a messy house by any means, but there were things to be done before henry arrived the next day. and while ted planned on you two tackling your to-do list together once he got home from breakfast, you had different plans for him that would hopefully keep him busy.
you complete the to-do list, putting fresh sheets on henry's bed, though no one has slept in it since you changed them after his last visit. you switch out some of the coffee table books you had out for some coloring books and board games, then finishing the wrapping of henry's gifts so you wouldn't have to worry about that after he goes to bed on christmas eve. when ted texts to ask if you want him to bring you a coffee home, you thank him but decline, then hurrying to your bathroom to change before he arrived home.
hearing the key in the door, you rush to stand in between your bed and the bedroom door, adjusting your hair once more, "honey?" "in here!" you hear ted approaching the room, smiling as he of course takes in the work you did as he heads towards you, "darlin', did you get a head start on the list? you didn't have to do that, i was happy to do that now…" ted trails off as he opens the door seeing you stand only a few feet in front of him, looking as gorgeous as ever.
his adam's apple bobs as he takes you in, a red bralette with white fur adorned across your chest, the see-through material allowing him to see not an outline of your nipple but the entire thing, your peaks pressing against the material, seeming to beg for freedom. his gaze traces down your figure, seeing possibly the shortest mini skirt he's ever seen if it could even be considered that. sure, it flares out like a skirt, but the material is maybe five inches long, and with its high rise position on your hips, he's sure it's covering absolutely nothing.
he clears his throat as his vision rises, though he seems to choke on his spit when he sees your nipples again before meeting your eyes, "w-what's this, sweetheart?" you take a step closer, even the slightest movement showing ted that the bralette had truly no support as your breasts bounced with even one step, "merry sexy christmas, ted." trying to be a gentleman, he forces himself to look into your eyes, though all he truly wants is to seal his mouth on yours as he throws you onto the bed. "but it's only the 23rd."
you take another couple steps until your standing directly in front of him, practically feeling the heat radiating off of the tented area of his pants, "well i thought we could celebrate a little early." you grab his hands, bringing them up to cup your breasts, "that all right with you, teddy?" as his name rolls of your tongue, your hands guide his thumbs so they run over your nipples, bringing a small moan from you which causes ted to groan, "fuckin' hell, baby."
unable to hold back anymore, ted dips his head down to meet you in a kiss, his tongue sliding across your lips to gain entry, skipping past the foreplay he typically loves. while he hates to move his hands, he guides them down to your ass, confirming his suspicion that your skirt covered nothing, his fingers pressed into your skin. you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him even closer as he kneads the skin of your ass while moving you back toward the bed. you lay down as ted begins to shed his clothing, watching you intently.
ted's eyes darken as your legs widen, revealing that with the mesh material of the skirt, your wetness had seeped through to coat your inner thighs. stripped down to nothing, ted practically growls as he settles in between your legs, less than a foot from where you need him most, "holy hell sweetness, you have all this just from that? i would have thought i made you come at least three times from how wet you are."
you whine at ted's words though your whine quickly turns into a gasp as his mouth lands on your thigh, his tongue tracing over your juices before he bites the sensitive skin. he moves to the other leg and repeats his movements, sure to leave two matching marks, "can never get over how good you taste, my love. jus' perfect." you wiggle your hips against the mattress, causing ted to lowly chuckle, "i know sugar, i know." he answers every prayer you've ever made when he drags down the skirt, moving quickly so that he can remove it entirely before placing himself right back in between your legs.
while ted's erection had been struggling, untouched, this entire time, he was absolutely positive he was going to explode as he watched your core convulse around nothing, begging for something to fill it. "you jus' torture me honey, i know you don't mean to, but hell if i could do this every minute of every hour, i would never leave this spot." you whine at his words, yes you want him to never leave that place in between your legs but right now, you really just need him to touch you. you fist at the sheets as you let out shaky breaths, "p-please, teddy."
ted places a kiss on your inner thigh, "i got you honey, i always got you." ted licks a long stripe from bottom to top of your opening, going just short enough that he doesn't touch your clit. a low low moan leaves your lips from finally feeling his mouth on you but also from him avoiding your sensitive bud. before you can beg, a single finger is slipped between your lips, not nearly enough for you to feel filled, but better than nothing. your pussy attempts to tighten around his middle finger as it circles around your hole, but the single digit isn't enough.
"more, pl-please." ted looks up at you through his eyelashes, practically drooling at the sight of you with your head thrown back, your neck on display as your hard nipples press against their confinement. ted obliges your request, though rather than doing so slowly, he removes his pointer finger almost all the way before shoving all three middle fingers in rather than just two. you moan loudly at the action, your back arching off the bed as you cry out his name, your core tightening around his fingers, "there you go baby, i said i got you."
though he hadn't been going for long, you already felt your climax approaching, something you attempted to tell ted, though you're sure he already knew, "t-teddy…" "i know baby, i know." his lips suddenly latch onto your clit, sucking on the swollen bundle of nerves, his teeth grating against the skin. you let out a strangled groan at this, noticing the feeling growing in your lower belly. on instinct, you wrap your thighs around ted's head, pulling him closer. he moves his fingers in the 'come here' motion, perfectly hitting your g-spot as he practically makes out with your clit, the combined effort bringing you to your peak.
you let out a scream of his name as you reach your high, ted moving his head at lightning speed to catch any juices that escape your core as his fingers work you through your orgasm, "so perfect for me baby, always such a good girl for me". after a minute or so, ted stops his movements, pulling his fingers out of your core, to which you whine. he chuckles at your response, bringing his hand up to suck the juices off of each of his fingers individually. he sits up, shimmying up your body, until he is straddling your hips, his angry head laying on your stomach just below the bottom of your bralette.
ted smiles at his view, your breasts bouncing as you breathe heavily, attempting to catch your breath with a dazed expression on your face, practically fucked out from only your first orgasm of the day. ted leans down, giving you a sweet kiss before pulling away slightly, his mustache tickling your upper lip, "merry sexy december 23rd, sweetness."

28 for the writing request!
28. first kiss
// rating is g; reader uses she/her pronouns // this is written from the pov of the reader never having been kissed before! //
masterlist is here
Jamie’s been thinking about you all day. He chews on his bottom lip during training and almost gets hit in the head with a ball coming in his direction. He can hear the coaches tell him to focus up, and he does the best he can till training ends.
He doesn’t say a word when he goes into the locker room. He’s zoned out while he showers. He doesn’t remember getting dressed, he just knows that he is when he knocks on the coach’s door.
The door is open, but he taps on the door with his knuckle, then shoves his hands underneath his shirt.
“Coach?” Jamie speaks. Beard, Higgins, and Nate are in the office too – but Jamie directs his question to Ted.
“What’s going on Jamie?” Ted turns in his chair to direct his gaze at the player. Jamie’s eyes look around at the other men in the room. Ted sees his glance, and he nods to Jamie – telling him to keep talking.
“So, I’m seein this girl and I really like her,” Jamie smiles, and the men in the room make a collective “oooh!” sound. “But-“
“But?” Beard urges him on.
“We’re on a date ya? And I go in to kiss ‘er and she said she’s never been kissed before. I don’t know what to do with that coach.”
Jamie hears Ted say something about Diamond Dogs, and Nate closes the office door. Jamie’s confused, but he’s too concerned about his situation at hand.
“Ahh first kisses,” Higgins muses.
“Have you tried just kissing her?” Beard asks as if that’s the most obvious answer.
“Coach she got nervous, and I didn’t wanna upset her yeah?” Jamie nibbles on his lip again.
Ted shares a fond glance with Higgins.
“Look Jamie, this girl likes you right? She just might be a lil shy that she’s never kissed anyone. If you kiss her, you’re gonna be the one she remembers. Don’t overthink it. She’ll let you know when she’s ready.”
Jamie likes the idea of his kiss being the one you’ll remember. That seems to satisfy him enough for now.
“Thanks coach,” he nods as he leaves. He hears Ted ask Beard about his first kiss and he’s sure it’s a wild story, but he’d rather go find you.
Jamie had been sweet about the whole thing. You’d been embarrassed to tell him, but you’d never have known he was nervous about it either. He ended the night by kissing you on the cheek and took you home.
You’re supposed to have another date tonight at your place. And you have no idea that he’s been thinking about kissing you all day or getting advice about it.
Your heart flutters when you hear the doorbell ring. You’re quick to answer it, and you smile happily when you see Jamie standing there, bags of food in hand.
“Hi,” you greet him and take one of the bags from him. He’d picked up some Chinese food on his way over.
When the bags are set down on the counter, he reaches for you to hug you. You could melt into him. His cologne smells amazing, and his hug is tight.
“Did you have a good day love?” he asks, looking at your face.
You nod. Your face warms under his gaze, his eyes are a lot to handle.
“Let me do this yeah? ” he tells you and points to the barstool by the counter.
You do as he says, and you sit for a moment watching him take the cartons out of the bags. He’s figuring out the layout of your kitchen, and he gets some plates and bowls.
Watching him move about quietly fills you with a strong desire to be near him. Your heart pounds in your throat as you stand up and walk to him. You gently place your hand on his back and call out his name.
He turns to see the look on your face, and he knows. He thinks back to what Ted said earlier.
The carton of rice is set down quickly on the counter as Jamie’s hand flies to cup your cheek. His other hand is on your hip pulling you closer.
You let out a shaky breath, or is that him? You close your eyes and feel his lips gently brush against yours. It’s only for a beat, but it makes your heart skip. He pulls back, an unsure expression is on his face. But when he sees your shy smile, he grins.
“Can you kiss me again?” you ask him, and he’s quick to close the gap between your lips.
Several sweeter kisses are shared while the food is distributed. The night ends on a more heated kiss that Jamie spends the next day at training thinking about.
This time he does get head with the ball, but luckily for him – he has someone to kiss the bruise better when he goes home.

Speak Now
Description: You’re not usually the type of girl (gn) to barge in on a white-veil occasion… but the officiant did say ‘speak now’.
Pairing: Ted Lasso x gn!Reader
Word Count: 2.5k
(originally posted on tumblr. then posted on ao3 on 6/13/22. now posted back on tumblr because taylor swift personally attacked me with the speak now tv announcement)
Tumblr media
You walked into the pub to get out of the cold, and to drown away any lingering hurt about the event hanging over your head.
It was tomorrow already.
You hadn’t expected all of the planning to be finished so soon, and certainly didn’t expect such a fast engagement. Part of you wondered if he even meant it when he proposed.
It all seemed… Wrong. That was what you told Beard as you sat at the table with him that night.
“If he meant it?” He asked incredulously.
You nodded. “I mean, think about it, in the whole time you’ve known him when has he ever done anything like this? With the exception of dragging us to England, that is.”
“I don’t know,” he sighed, taking a drink. “Maybe he just fell quick.”
You sat back, drinking silently for a few moments while you mulled everything over. Ted could be crazy, but going to marry someone he hardly knew was on a different level. You knew it, you knew that deep down Beard had to know it.
“Maybe I’m just being pessimistic because I wasn’t invited, but it all seems wrong to me,” you finally said with a shrug.
Beard furrowed his brow. “Not invited?”
You shook your head. “No.”
“Ted invited you.”
“No, he didn’t.”
He raised a brow. “He told me he did. Why do you think he’s been talking about it around you?”
You shrugged. “I don’t know, I just assumed it was only going to be a couple close friends.”
He dropped his shoulders, glaring at you.
“You know you’re one of his closest friends.”
“Then why am I not invited?” You challenged. “See, this is what I’m talking about. I don’t get why he’s doing this at all.”
“And you’re sure this isn’t a deeper issue for you?”
“Like what?”
“Maybe the fact that you’re just about in love with the man,” Mae cut in, picking up your empty mugs. You looked at her with wide eyes. “You’re not hard to read, love.”
You couldn’t help but laugh a little at her demeanor, even if you wanted to reject that statement with everything in you.
“You’re a real treat Mae, but in this case you need to mind yourself.”
She narrowed her eyes at you. “I’ll let that one slide for now.”
“You’re an angel, friend.”
She hummed, walking away and leaving you to the skeptical gaze of coach Beard. You looked back at him, giving him a shrug.
“Nothing will make this make sense to me.”
“Uh huh.”
He got up to leave several minutes later, leaving you to wander to a barstool to engage in some more conversation with Mae.
“You know, if it bugs you all that much, you could just sneak in and break it up,” she said with a wink.
“I am not the type of person to go barging into a wedding uninvited,” you replied with a laugh, “But, I do appreciate the suggestion.”
“They always ask for objections, and you seem to have quite a few,” she sang.
You laughed again. “I don’t know if that’d be the most appropriate response.”
She sighed. “Can I tell you something I think might help all of this?”
“Of course,” you said, leaning against the bar-top as you finished your drink.
“As obvious as it is that you’ve got some feelings hidden away for our Ted, I’ve gotta say it surprises me you haven’t seen the way he looks at you.”
“Alright, are we sure you’re not the one who’s been drinking?”
You chuckled, shaking your head at her. She smiled.
“Only one, but don’t tell anyone.”
“You’re my best friend here, Mae, who am I gonna tell?”
She laughed. “That’s my girl. But seriously, I meant what I said. Give it a thought, yeah?”
“I think it’s time for me to head out,” you said after a beat. “It’s been a pleasure as always.”
“You too, love,” she said with a smile as she waved you off.
You went home, laying in your bed and trying and failing not to think about what she’d said. There was really no point in trying to hide your feelings with how easily she’d already read you, but you couldn’t help the thought of Ted that lingered in your head.
There was no way he’d ever had a second thought about you as anything more than a friend. Right?
Ted laid awake that night, trying to think about the fact that he was supposed to be married the next day, but instead had a head filled with you.
Beard had called him a few hours prior to ask about why you hadn’t been invited. Much to Ted’s confusion, as he had certainly put your name on the invite list. Everything had moved very quickly, but that shouldn’t have effected whether or not your invite got to you.
But now, hearing you’d never gotten one, he couldn’t help but wonder if it was intentional.
You never seemed to notice, but others had pointed out in the past that he could never keep his eyes off of you if you were in the same room. If it was that easy for some folks to pick up, realization dawned on him that it might have been a tell to his soon-to-be wife. But would she have really barred such a good friend of his from their wedding?
She had her whole family coming, surely she wouldn’t object to Ted having more than a couple of his own. He wondered if anyone else had been uninvited, or if it was just you. If all else failed, Henry and his mother would be there, but he wanted his friends to be there to celebrate.
He tossed and turned the rest of the night, waking only after a few hours of sleep.
You got up the next morning, dreading the day. You wondered what Ted was doing as he prepared for his big day, and wondered who else was going to be there without you.
Against your better judgement, you sent him a text.
- ‘hey, just wanted to congratulate you on your big day. i hope you have a great time :)’
You hit send, setting your phone on your nightstand. You looked up at the ceiling, trying to get your mind onto any other subject. Though, it wasn’t long before you heard your phone vibrate with the indication of a message.
- ‘Thank you! You’re coming, right?’
You read the message, and read it again. Was this some weird power play?
- ‘gosh, i’m sorry, i’m not. i never got an invite, i didn’t want to intrude’
It was only a second before a few new messages popped up.
- ‘Intrude?! It wouldn’t be the same without ya!’
- ‘I promise I put you on the list. Seems it didn’t get to you’
Bitterness crept in, a message coming from your brain and to his phone before you could check in with your logical side.
- ‘seems more like i was uninvited by your lovely bride-to-be lol. that’s okay, i’m alright cheering you on from home’
He received your message with wide eyes, his suspicions and yours matching up.
- ‘I’d still really like to see you there, don’t think I can get through without you. I’ll send you a link to the address’
He sent the message along with the map link to the location of the ceremony. You didn’t send another message, mulling over the fact that someone certainly didn’t want you there. You texted Rebecca, asking if you could tag along with her that day if she was going.
You got ready quickly, hands shaking as you pulled on your shoes and grabbed your bag. Rebecca showed up later that day, and you took a car to the ceremony together.
“You’re being uncharacteristically quiet, love,” she said as you arrived at the destination.
“I’m thinking.”
“Uh oh,” she said, though amusement shone in her eyes. “Does that mean we get any entertainment today?”
You turned the situation over and over again in your head, losing yourself in the fantasy of standing up and interrupting the ceremony. After all, even if he thought you were insane, objecting would put off the wedding for the day. At minimum, they wouldn’t be able to marry legally that day.
You knew that was a petty thought, but after a certain point you didn’t care.
Katherine had never seemed to like you no matter how kind you were to her. You’d gone out of your way to provide her a certain level of comfort any time you’d interacted, and she always brushed it off. She had made her way to Keeley’s bad side within an hour because of it all, and that was certainly a feat to accomplish.
Though, as you attempted to converse with certain members of her family, you understood why she was the way she was: they all acted the same way. Stuck up.
You let out a hard sigh as you sat with Rebecca to wait for the ceremony to begin. She watched you, trying to decipher what was going on in your head.
“You know, you being all quiet like this worries me a little,” she sang quietly.
You chuckled. “There’s nothing to worry about.”
“Are you sure about that?”
“Partially,” you said with a smile.
She laughed, grabbing your hand and giving it a squeeze.
“I wish Keeley and Roy could have made it. I think they might’ve liked seeing you do what you’re about to.”
“And what am I about to do?” You asked, eyes wide and a smile on your face.
“I can’t say for sure, but it looks like you don’t want this to happen as much as half the people here,” she whispered.
“Half is an overstatement.”
“There’s enough, I think. We’re all just too afraid to say anything.”
You paused, considering what she said. Did that many people really have concern about everything? If so, you certainly felt a stronger surge of confidence. Though, you weren’t sure if that was a good thing or not quite yet.
You waited for the ceremony to start with palms that were becoming increasingly clammy and a heart that beat faster and faster. Especially as Ted came out with the officiant. He smiled at a few guests as he came out, though he didn’t seem to notice you.
Something was on his mind.
As he walked down, he wanted so badly to search for you, but he knew he might have trouble saying ‘I do’ if he knew you were there watching him.
He knew he was probably better off pretending like they were all alone up there rather than in front of a crowd of people.
He also knew he was becoming less and less sure about what he was doing as the day went on.
Music started, the bridesmaids and groomsmen coming down. You only recognized Beard, the rest supplemented by Katherine’s family.
As each person came down, you watched Ted. Part of you hurt to see him there, but part of you found an unfortunate excitement with the fact that he didn’t look overly excited. Maybe you could do this.
You could do this.
She came down next, though you kept your eyes on Ted through it all.
He watched her float down the aisle, and much to his dismay, he didn’t feel the joy he thought he might.
The ceremony officially began, and you watched and waited with baited breath. All of the formalities began, and time seemed to slow. Your heart beat harder and harder, knowing it was coming soon.
Then, the officiant said it.
Silence fell over the room, and you waited for what felt like forever.
But then, you knew it was your last chance and time was winding down.
You stood, hands shaking, as you stared at Ted. He looked back at you, as did everyone else in the room, all of them wearing looks of pure horror on their faces.
You opened your mouth to speak, tongue going dry for a moment. Rebecca reached up, giving your hand one last squeeze of reassurance that gave you the final surge of confidence that you needed.
“I’m not the kind of person who does this. Crashing a wedding, and all,” you said with a light laugh, only Beard joining in on the laughter quietly. At least he covered his with a cough. “But, Ted, I really don’t think you’re the type of guy to marry the wrong person.”
“Excuse me?” Katherine cut in, looking between the two of you.
When Ted kept his eyes on you, she scoffed, arms crossing. You didn’t pay any mind, keeping your gaze on him.
“I— Don’t say yes. Don’t do this, Ted,” you said, almost laughing at the absurdity of the situation. “Just hear me out, think about it, you know?”
“What are you even doing?” Katherine asked again, and this time you glanced at her.
You gestured at the officiant.
“He said ‘Speak now’.”
A few laughs spread throughout the room at that, mostly from teammates from Richmond, but laughs nonetheless.
Ted still kept his eyes on you. “I— I don’t know what to say.”
“Say you’ll come with me,” you offered.
He watched with wide eyes for another moment, a small smile creeping onto his face.
“Meet you at the back door when I change?”
A wave of relief and adrenaline ran through you at that, a wide smile on your face suddenly. You nodded quickly.
He ran down the aisle, and you grabbed your bag, giving a quick kiss on the cheek to Rebecca.
“Work things out with his family for us, yeah?”
She nodded. “Of course. I’ll make sure I have a fun day planned for them tomorrow.”
“You’re my favorite, you know that?”
“I know,” she said with a smile. “Go get him, love.”
You hustled out of the building, going to find the back door. Ted came through as you reached it, smiling when he saw you there, standing in just his button up and dress pants.
He wrapped you in a tight hug when you met, letting out a breath.
“I’m so glad you were around to stop all that.”
“Really?”
He pulled back, looking at you. “Of course. I’m running away from a wedding with you, do you really think my heart was in all that, Ben Platt?”
“I’m so glad I could pull you away from it all for you to make that horrible joke,” you said with a laugh.
He laughed back, then quieted, looking at you in the eyes.
“How did you know?” He asked quietly.
“Mae is very observant,” you whispered with a smirk.
“Bless that woman.”
You giggled, though got cut short when he pressed his lips to yours. You kissed him back, butterflies erupting in your stomach after waiting forever for that moment. You separated a minute later, and he took your hand in his.
“What do you say we run away together now?”
“That sounds perfect.”

Jamie Tartt x Fem!Reader
Content : jealousy, friends to lovers, a bit of violence, flirting, kissing
Word Count : 1.6k
Plot Summary : Jamie doesn’t know how to react when he sees you flirting with a West Ham player.
A/N : More of my love, Jamie, there's a criminally low amount of Jamie fanfic---as always pls like and reblog if you enjoy <3
“Well don’t you look gorgeous?” You hear the voice before you see its owner, and you roll your eyes before picking your drink up from the bar and turning around.
“And you are?” You deadpan.
“Westley Smythe. But I’m better known as the star player of West Ham.” He quirks a smile at you and you try hard not to laugh right in his face.
“You do know who I am?” You ask him, and he raises an eyebrow, looking you up and down as if there was no way he could know.
“I’m Richmond’s athletic trainer. ” You watch the wheels turn in his mind, and you smooth your dress on yourself, flashing him your own brilliant smile. “I don’t really associate with West Ham.”
He shrugs. “No one has to know.” He says, and this time, you do laugh out loud, actually tickled that this man was being so bold.
But your laugh alerts your own star player, a certain number 9. Jamie’s jaw clenches when he sees you laughing with Smythe, and the grip on his beer bottle (a rare treat Roy allowed him) tightens. He feels Roy lean over, and he rolls his eyes in anticipation for whatever Roy has to say.
“Bloody fucking hell, Tartt. Just tell the girl you like her.” Jamie can’t help but steal glances at you, where you’re chatting away with the West Ham player. And…are you enjoying his company? He thinks about you, how you move when a song you like comes on, the smell of your honey scented perfume.
“I can’t.”
“Yes you fucking can.” Roy grunts, and with that he puts another beer in front of Jamie and wanders off to mingle with Ted and Beard.
This leaves Jamie with admittedly, a lot to think about, even though Roy hadn’t said much.

You keep a tight smile on your face, and you glance to the boys, noticing Jamie was watching you. Your face flushes and you tuck a piece of hair behind your ear. Even though Westley was definitely not your type, you decide you could maybe use him to make Jamie a bit jealous.
For the past few months, it always seems like Jamie is on the edge of asking you something. There’s stolen glances, smiles that linger a bit too long. You even find yourself checking over him after games more often than other players. You and Jamie were friendly, even friends, but you couldn’t deny the extremely large crush you held on the Mancunian.
You reach out and brush a light hand on Smythe’s arm, causing him to step a bit closer to you. You glanced again at Jamie, the muscles in his perfect jaw jumping at the sight of you and Smythe. You grin to yourself, angling your body so you’re facing away from Jamie. You felt maybe a little evil, but maybe it would push him to talk to you a bit more. Of course, you could talk to him, but it seemed like anytime you tried to flirt, Jamie was completely oblivious to what you were trying to do.
You roll your eyes as Westley continues to drone on, casting a peek over your shoulder. Jamie was still watching you, but he was standing now. He sets his bottle on the table and skulks out of the bar, and you can’t help but smirk.

The next day, you’re up in the box with Keeley and Rebecca, who you inform of your jealous-Jamie plan.
Keeley grins. “I love it babes.” And Rebecca nods.
“Maybe it showed him what he was missing.” She suggests, and you point a finger at her, settling into your seat. You cross your arms and gaze down at the field but the huge monitor over the stands shows closeups of the team. You can’t keep your eyes off of Jamie, and Keeley leans in.
“He looks grumpy, I think your little plan worked, yeah?” She grins, nudging you. You shrug, but secretly you were pleased. If he was jealous over you, surely that meant he liked you.
The game starts, the usual fast paced back and forth making your head spin. You notice that Smythe has the ball, about to score, when suddenly -
“Oh my god!” You exclaim, standing straight up out of your seat. Jamie had slide-tackled the other player, knocking him down, causing Smythe to roll a little bit. Westley Smythe stands up and charges towards Jamie, who didn’t seem like he was going to back down, in fact, he was smirking, walking to meet Smythe. Jamie pushes Smythe hard, but before a real fight can break out, the referee interferes, gesticulating to Jamie.
Finally, the referee pulls out a red card.
Keeley and Rebecca sit next to you, stunned.
You look up at the monitor and catch Jamie smirking, tongue out, cocky expression on display as he walks back towards the dugout. You sit down, slightly stunned. But also, slightly into it. You watch Roy shake his head at Jamie and send him into the locker room. You quickly stand up, making your way out of the box.

Your tennis shoes make a soft tap, tap, tap on the floor as you walk down the long, bright hallway to the locker room. You round the doorway and stop, right as Jamie looks up at you.
“What the hell, Jamie? A red card? Not to mention, you could have hurt yourself and then work on your ankle would have had to start over.” You put your hands on your hips, moving forward towards him.
“Oh sorry, are you worried about your little West Ham boyfriend?” He says, scoffing as he stands up, turning to face his locker.
“Boyfriend? I don’t care about Westley.”
“On a first name basis, huh?”
You clench your teeth. He was going to be difficult about this. “Why do you even care?”
Jamie shrugs, still facing away from you. “I don’t.”
“So why’d you tackle him, then?”
At this, you can see Jamie’s body tense. “He’s a bloody wanker, that’s why.”
At this, you scoff. He was really going to stand in front of you and pretend as if you didn’t know what this was about. At the sound of your noise of indignation he turns around to face you. There’s a glint in his eyes and he steps closer to you. Very close. Noses almost touching close. He’s slightly taller than you, so he looks down at you.
“Maybe I don’t like the way he was looking at you last night, yeah? Like you were a piece of fucking meat.”
“I can take care of myself.” You assure him, biting back a smirk. You can’t help it though, a devilish smirk was playing on the corners of your lips. “Are you jealous, Tartt?”
You expected him to smirk. You even expected him to maybe laugh, that beautiful smile on display. Instead, he licks his lips, quirking an eyebrow at you. “I think you know the answer to that.”
“Then say it.” You challenge.
At this, Jamie smirks. “Yes. I was jealous. You are smart, funny, and kind, and seeing Westley Smythe all over you made me want to tackle him on the pitch.”
You’re a bit taken aback. You didn’t expect him to pile compliments on you, and your eyes soften. “Oh..” you breathe out.
Jamie continues to gaze down at you, leaning in even closer than he was before, his lips hovering centimeters above yours. You watch, mesmerized, drunk in his presence.
“Seems you might like having me jealous over you, yeah?” Jamie teases. “But that’s okay, as long as I get you all to myself.”
You swallow, your eyes trailing to his lips. “You’ve always had me all to yourself.” You whisper, glancing up to meet his gaze again. But the look on his face is different. Where before it was smirking, sexy, teasing, now it was surprised and anguished.
“Wh..what?” He manages to get out, and you kick yourself, believing you said the wrong thing. “Just how long have you been trying to make me jealous?” He asks, reaching up to gently push a strand of hair behind your ear.
You shrug, suddenly bashful, cheeks burning red hot as he brushed his hand there briefly. You feel a gentle hand under your chin, lifting your gaze to meet his. He searches your face, a small, pleased smile playing on his lips.
“Only since last night. I couldn’t take the tension anymore.” You whisper, and Jamie laughs softly. He slides his hand to the side of your face, lifting his other hand to mirror it. Cradling your face gently, he leans in.
Before anything happens, his eyes travel from your lips to your eyes. “Can I kiss you?” He whispers. Your mouth feels dry, but you nod, and he leans in, gently connecting his lips to yours.
You kiss him back, feeling as if you were melting, and you slide your arms around his neck, pulling yourself closer to him. His hands leave your face and snake around your waist, holding you as close as he can. “You are as sweet as honey.” He breathes into your ear, and you shiver.
“Oi!” You hear a booming voice yell from the doorway and you instinctively look over, still tangled in each other’s arms. There stood Roy, an eyebrow raised. “Not that I don’t think it’s about time the two of you kissed, but Ted wants to see you, Tartt.”
Jamie looks at you, stealing another kiss before winking at you, following Roy out of the locker room door. You stood there, smiling and blushing to yourself. You guessed Jamie just needed a little push, is all. You couldn’t wait to continue what you started.
