#Teasing Yoosung is fun

Okay, okay, but can we talk about the implications of the RFA preparing us these gingerbread cookies? I know they made it look all neat and tidy for us (Saeran and Jumin wouldn't have it any other way), but there is definitely a story of a completely destroyed kitchen behind them.

I can see it going two ways: Either they each made a cookie individually, or they mitigated responsibilities between one another. For the sake of this being funnier, let's go with the first option!

Yoosung is likely to take a few attempts to complete his cookie. Not because he is bad at it (he was forced to help out making gingerbread cookies with his family almost every Christmas), but because he wants to make it perfect! After all, it's for their party coordinator! And he wants to impress you! Overall, he does a clean enough job, and his cookie turns out in a way that leaves him proud. If only Saeyoung didn't prank him once or twice in the process, that redheaded rascal!

Zen will definitely need some help. I'm sorry, I know he can cook and he is willing to learn for you, but as of now, he is rusty as heck. Surviving on nothing but salads, beer, and occasional snacks will not turn him into a good baker. He will try to follow the recipe, but he will either end up messing up, or he'll get all huffy about the cookie not looking right, and not representing his true beauty. He wants his cookie to be as handsome as he is! (Jaehee will enthusiastically agree to this statement) Actually, I can see Jaehee being the one to help him out. Maybe even in secret from everyone else, so he wouldn't get teased about it. Plus, Jaehee is just as motivated to make this cookie perfect!

Speaking of Jaehee, just like with everything else she does, she will do her job quickly and perfectly. No fuss, no muss. She'll be very clean about it too. It's like she wasn't even there in the kitchen. I don't even have much to say about her, because she's just too responsible and diligent for her own good. No silly gags, just a perfectly baked delicious cookie. She'll be very proud of it, too. Make sure to compliment her! She'll get all giggly about it for sure.

Jumin is... He can bake. In fact, he is a very good baker due to his natural ability to follow given instructions precisely. But, the problem with Jumin isn't that he can't cook or bake, as it's often assumed, it's that he gets too damn curious for his own good. He is like a cat. A creature of curiosity. Will try doing different techniques and adding new things, just to see what will turn out. He finds baking to be like a science and is captivated by it. Everyone in the RFA are horrified. It's like watching the ticking bomb go off. Everyone except for Jihyun. That man is just chuckling away in the corner and occasionally poking fun at his friend, because he knew it would end up that way. Although he will have to step in, once Jumin decides to try something a bit too crazy. Can't have their party coordinator shocked in a not so pleasant way! Jumin will still present you with an entire collection of gingerbread cookies later, though. He's too proud not to. What an absolute dork.

Speaking of Jihyun, I don't know why, but I always pictured him as a pretty bad cook and baker. I don't have any canon evidence for it, this is just pure headcanon territory. He will try. Dear Lord, he will try his absolute best for you. But, his gingerbread cookies will turn out looking just as sad and skrunkly as he is. It's like a curse. He might just come to terms with his cookie looking as miserable as ever, but I like to imagine Yoosung helping him out in the end! Just because I'd like to see them bond in a cute and happy way for once. Who knows, maybe this will become a new tradition of theirs! Yoosung teaching Jihyun an art of cooking and baking. And, I think Jihyun really does view it as an art. Then again, his artistic nature can make even the most mundane of things into a beautiful metaphor for something. He just needs someone by his side to watch out for any smoke.

Saeran is one step behind Jaehee when it comes to getting the job done. He's a bit more messy, because he likes to have fun while baking (especially when he's preparing something for you), and he will definitely prepare a good batch of different variations, before he decides on the final one. Funny thing about Saeran is that the kitchen will be squeaky clean, but he will be covered in flour, frosting, and other things. He doesn't know how it happened. No one does. But, it does give his brother some opportunities for playful teasing. Much to Saeran's exasperation (but there is a smile on his face as he huffs and puffs at Saeyoung's jokes, and it melts his twin's heart for sure). Also, he will prepare gingerbread cookies for Ray and Suit, but will leave them to give those two to you later in person. These are special.

And, last but not least, we have the final boss. The one who turns a cute idea to surprise you into a raging disaster. The man behind the slaughter. Saeyoung Choi. Boy, oh boy. It's true that no one wanted to allow him to bake. Everyone was aware of what was to come. But, once they saw that painfully familiar sparkle of inspiration in those golden eyes of his? That wicked grin that just screamed of mischief? His numerous babbles in the chatroom about 101 facts regarding gingerbread cookies? It was obvious. There was no going back. Only forward. He would bake that cookie with or without them. And, Saeran would much rather be nearby if something caught on fire. The cookie you see on the plate is adorable. It's perfect. Tasty. But, there is a story of true terror behind it. Dozens of fallen gingerbread cookies, lost at the hands of a mad redheaded genuis who was having way too much fun mixing ingredients that should never be mixed. How in the world did he get flour onto the ceiling? No one knows. Why is there a batch of Dr Pepper flavored cookies laying on the counter? Why, that's another mystery added to the pile. Did he create some kind of ungodly invention or a full on robo-arm to make cookies for him? Ask Vanderwood for that.

Aight, having played day 3 in its totality...

This man's crush is painfully obvious and he doesn't know what to do about it.

Unlike day 1 and partly 2, Seven is a lot more present during day 3.

You can see him looking for the MC's attention more frequently and wanting to be around to just have fun and joke around.

And he's so unused to being seen and having someone's genuine attention that he LATCHES onto it and starts wanting more, especially since he's used to his antics being ignored.

And unlike the other previous days, he's also a lot more open about himself but still not upfront when it comes to answering stuff about himself, instantly excusing himself with work when Yoosung asks about his stash of Honey Buddha Chips but telling Zen instead about how he got it.

He's still evading being open about himself but in his own way also uses it as a way to tease the other RFA members, and with the MC actively enabling him to do this instead of ignoring him he is able to talk about himself.

His own phone calls also reflect this.

There's a surprising difference between Seven in the chatroom and him during a phone call.

Seven is even more open when talking about himself without even realizing, with the cat phone call he talks about his dream which is a clear memory of his past as a kid, his abusive mom and his brother and him hoping to be able to escape together, even being able to tell his mom off for everything she did to them.

But he doesn't understand why he's able to tell this over the phone.

Then you have the space station call, where he's unable to understand why he keeps wanting to hear the MC's voice which is why he ends up unconsciously calling again.

This is also where he pretty much realizes he feels something for the or at the very least the moment he starts to pretend he isn't MC the second he mentions taking them to the space station, space is something he really loves and tends to reference in chatroom conversations it's a type of safe space where he can just distance himself from his problems and when he finds someone he considers safe? He wants to take them with him there and share that space (pun not intended) with them.

And this is something the other members of the RFA note as well.

give him a chance and he'll be the silliest mf known to man.

yeah he's a hardass but a lot of that is keeping up appearances, or keeping his siblings safe. really he's a fucking goober

he might be the only one left with feathers, but helping Asmo and Mammon take care of their new wings is really important to him. they would all help each other preen in the celestial realm, and he uses this as an excuse to give them back that lost sense of home.

words cannot express how much he loves his brothers dude. he would fall from grace a thousand times over if it meant keeping them safe.

Mammon -

while he's not above stealing shit for the sake of having pretty things, if he's getting a gift for his brothers/the MC, he'll bust his ass to pay for it properly.

he'll act like it wasn't any skin off his back if they ask, muttering some excuse about how it wasn't that much and he felt like being generous that day even though it's always something he's put a lot of thought into.

on that note, he is the BEST gift giver. doesn't matter the occasion, be it holidays or birthdays or just a random wednesday, he somehow always knows exactly what it was the victim of his affections were eyeing the past few weeks.

Levi -

swims in his room aquarium sometimes! he likes being able to pet Henry

has played Mystic Messenger, and he likes comparing his brothers to the characters. (yes he dubs himself Yoosung, yes he thinks it's a good thing)

Asmo -

when i say this man is emotionally repressed....

it takes a LOT for him to be as openly upset as he is in his maze lesson in Nightbringer. he hates being so distressed around his brothers, and a lot of that is keeping appearances. which sucks, because most of the time it's in his own home.

when he does talk though he talks for a while. especially if he's venting to Lucifer, he has a lot to say and a lot he thinks he needs to clarify even if Lucifer got the point the first go through.

on a happier note, he loves small animals. be it mice or insects, doesn't matter - he'll find something cute about everything he comes across.

he knits, and for birthday's he'll make his brother's favorite animals. if they try to do the same for him he will bawl, on the spot, he loves them so much

he'll keep any gift you or Solomon or his brothers give him no matter what it is. it's his way of having personalized reminders that they care, that even if he's not Angel pretty anymore he's still so loved

Beel -

lactose intolerant. does he care? no. it means nothing to him he'll chug a carton of milk for fun

very protective of his family. specifically Satan and Belphie—Belphie for seemingly obvious reasons.. and Satan because even if Wrath is considered the fourth sin and is ranked above Gluttony, that is Beel's baby brother. he would die for Satan.

will carry Belphie around like a ragdoll for fun or to get him down to breakfast/dinner or classes

has his family's favorite foods memorized and tries to make them, but he's..not the best chef </3

on the rare occasion Lucifer lets him use his room, the bed? officially Belphie's. it's basically impossible to wake him up so this is a rarity

his favorite place in Mammon's room is the couch, once again it is impossible to move him. really just likes it because Mammon actually tends to be quite while he's asleep, and it's his way of bonding with him specifically.

he likes Levi's room because it's always very warm, from all the electronics and the aquarium heaters. sometimes he'll end up using Levi's lap or tail as a pillow if the aquarium heater isn't doin it for him.

completely skips Satan's room and goes straight to the HoL library to bug his baby-yet-older brother directly. once again bro is an actual cat, and will sprawl himself out on Satan's lap with his head over the arm rest. yes it is uncomfortable for him to lay like that. no he will not move dont even ask

ADORES Asmo's bed. he's not allowed to use Asmo's bath anymore because the one time he did, he started schnoozing and almost drowned. pretends he doesn't know how often Asmo pampers him while he's asleep, but he's well aware. he likes how soft his hair and tail fur end up being after Asmo room naps, so trips to the fifths room are very frequent.

Beel is a special case since they share a room. he's not a fan of beel's bed, but he'll sleep on Beel himself, like with Satan. he's not picky with Beel, as long as he's within his twin's bubble he's satisfied.

Well, you've come to the right place. Do you want to know the best thing you can do for the two of those brothers who don't know how to speak to each other? You can be the one who breaks the tension. It's your laughter and smiles that can help them understand what it means to see your family again without the pressure of the past that split them apart.

You bring a sense of normalcy to what would feel... strained and painful otherwise.

Whenever he feels like he doesn't know what to say to his brother, you're always there to help him see what might not be obvious to him. It's not always obvious to him when his brother is trying to tell a joke to lighten the situation. He understands that that's his way of trying to deal with hard subjects and the world at large, but when it comes to other things, he's not always sure when he's supposed to laugh at stuff! His sense of humor is drier than Saeyoung’s, so they get a little lost in translation. So, laugh when something's funny, and it might be the thing that clicks.

You'd be surprised at how having someone there to help Saeran read the room makes all the difference... especially when it comes down to the way Saeyoung has fun.

He's not going to laugh right away when his brother teases Yoosung on the messenger, but hey, you’ll chuckle and explain the meaning of the joke, and it makes sense. It might not be what he’d do, but seeing these things helps him SEE his brother.

There's something poetic about getting to see that side of his brother in an uncensored way, and your being there makes him feel less lost. You're his best friend. You understand him and his brother, and being able to experience life with his best friend and his twin brother just feels right.

You don't have to enjoy gardening to hang out with him. However, let me tell you, he loves to talk when he's working outside, so if you end up just sitting down in the dirt as he works as you talk about the world, that's just a normal weekend.

It's fun for him to be able to have someone to talk to as he works. In the past, he would have spent his time talking to the flowers, but now he gets to talk to his best friend and the flowers at the same time. It's a win-win. As another bonus, you get to learn as he's working there, because he likes to teach. Anybody that's willing to listen to him talk about something he's passionate about makes him want to do more and more of it.

He's a great person to talk to, by the way. Even if he doesn't have a lot of experience with the world proper, he always knows what to say when you need to hear it for some reason. He's a great source of advice and knows just how to make somebody feel good about themselves, and having him as your friend is great whenever you feel blue.

He knows what it feels like to be blue. But, blue doesn't have to be such a bad thing, that's one of the things he'll tell you. Sometimes it's nice to look up at the blue sky, and even if you feel sad, look at how pretty the universe around you is, and then you'll smile at the blues.

Shared Solitude

Zen, Yoosung, and Saeyoung all have so much energy. They can make anything fun with their enthusiasm and jokes. 

But Jumin grounds you, brings you back to yourself. He is the gentle guiding hand on the small of your back. Strong fingers softly squeezing your own, reassuring and comforting. While the others bound into a room with excitement and draw your attention, Jumin sits down quietly at your side, peace washing over you like gentle waves on a shore. 

Seven teasing Yoosung, the younger excitedly explaining LOLOL, or Zen dramatically performing his lines for you. They all effortlessly bring a smile to your face wide enough to make your cheeks ache. You can get caught up in it, pulled into their dizzying storm. The joy and laughter makes you light-headed like riding a thrilling roller coaster that leaves your legs trembling. And it’s Jumin who offers out his hand to steady you. 

He finds you on the couch, full of love for your friends and eternally grateful that they accepted you into their group with open arms, but now tired. It’s his calm presence joining your side, a soft kiss to your temple, a murmured greeting into the still silence of the penthouse. Leaning into him is like sinking into a warm bath after a long day, muscles relaxing that you didn’t even realize were tense as his arm wraps around you. 

It’s just you and Jumin and you can breathe again. Better than being alone, a shared solitude to steady and find yourself. 

And he feels it, too. After a stressful work day, with frustration and exhaustion wearing away at him, the thought of you waiting at home lightens each tiring step he has left to take. 

You both come back to life in each other’s arms. 

With just a look it feels as though he sees into you, peering into your mind and understanding. Recognition was there the moment you both met. Serious eyes looking down at yours, each of you finding fragments of one’s self within the other.

Lol okay so the thing about Gummy Worms is that I started writing a sequel in like October and it’s basically just Saeran introspecting about his time as an idol and remembering specific interactions that he had with Rika interspersed with a "present day" narrative where he and MC are preparing for a Halloween party that Yoosung is holding, but then Rika shows up at the party and she and Saeran kind of come to terms with the general weirdness of their creative relationship, but then a) I realized that it would be out of character for Yoosung to allow that to happen... like he would not invite Rika and Saeran to the same event... like I don't think he would cut Rika off completely but especially without any context for her actions (outside of what he got from Saeran's album), I don't think Yoosung would want Rika at his Halloween party with his friends whom she victimized like 2 months ago b) I really struggled to make the sequel and the original seem like two parts of the same cohesive set... I think part of this is that Gummy Worms is MC's linear narrative of events that take place over the course of a few month and Gummy Worms 2 [Working title] is Saeran's very non-linear narrative of events that take place over the course of several years. But also, Gummy Worms is generally a pretty fun story and what I've written of Part 2 is a lot angstier and heavier in general, since it's largely dealing with a professional relationship between two deeply troubled people c) While I was dealing with (a) and (b) and also Mystictober, Halloween came and went and every time I think "maybe I should think about reworking Gummy Worms 2" I open it up and see that hALLoWeEN is central to both the past and present narratives, which I feel like would be a pretty weird thing to post at any time other than October

But, all that being said, I feel bad to tease content about Gummy Worms Unknown and Rika without delivering, so my favorite scene from Gummy Worms 2 [working title] is under the cut.

He slept and ate when he was forced to, and filled the rest of his time up with live streams. Life was so easy, a metronome in the background of whatever dance number Rika insisted on playing when tugging at his puppet strings. Saeran didn't know much about himself; he didn't know what he could do outside of what he was already doing. He had no idea who he wanted to be, let alone who he was. All he knew was that he was creating and destroying for Mint Eye, earning them money with every breath he took. That was his job: to make content, not art.

And it was so easy. It must have been the third Halloween that he went to get the tattoo— it was not a sign of defeat. It was pure rage, rage transmuted to become ink as if through an alchemical formula, rage penetrating his skin and leaving its mark on him forever. He was branding his likeness as a product distributed by Mint Eye Entertainment. He had no choice but to live as Unknown, and Mint Eye owned Unknown— so Saeran had no choice but to be a tool, a hit-maker under the discretion of Mint Eye. Easy, easy. Saeran didn't even flinch when the logo was added to his person, didn't cry, didn't register the feeling of it. He was numb to pain already, too familiar with it to care much about the needle carving out a home for itself under his skin.

He went and found Rika afterwords— she was working late, as always, blond curls falling in her face as she bent over some impressive pile of very important paperwork. Her champagne-colored blouse had a coffee or tea-ish stain on the collar, and Saeran wondered if she wasn't really just the same as him— somebody who took advantage of the music charts to claw their way out of a bad situation. Of course she needed to exploit him, he thought, deflating as she greeted him with that familiar cool smile. How else would she stay ahead? How else would she survive? If their positions were reversed, could he really say that he'd be any better than she was?

But he was already in her office, wearing her label's logo on his skin. It was permanent, part of him forever, just like every sacrifice that either one of them ever made in the name of all this. "Rika," he breathed her name, and she looked up, eyes red. From crying? From lack of sleep? Or maybe it was just a trick of the light. Saeran still isn't sure to this day. "I hope you're happy." The words tumbled out, unfair and bitter and entirely justified.

"Oh?" She took some time to process his words, not looking half as horrified as he wanted her to be. "Thank you, Saeran." She didn't even notice the tattoo. The conversation did not comfort him, and he left her office feeling just as angry and guilty as he did when he came in.

BUSTAFELLOWS

Going into this game I didn’t really know much. The trailer video for it looked really awesome, but I didn’t know much about it other than the stuff in its eshop page. I ended up buying it because it had a major sale (I want to say like 50-60% off), so it felt like a waste not to get it especially since I’ve seen it mentioned a bunch in the otome community.

One thing that was a little rough for me is there isn’t really a prologue to really get to know each of the guys which made it hard for me to decide who to pick since the choices you make in common route determines who’ll you’ll get. I wish there was more time to get to know the guys before my choices mattered. So that’s definitely one complaint I had. But let’s talk about my thoughts on the routes!

Limbo

I chose Limbo first since he’s kind of the poster child and the little part you see before picking choices was mostly with him, so he seemed like a safe bet.

I think Limbo is very attractive from his character design standpoint, so that’s a plus. And his personality was pretty solid too. I have no real complaints about him and his route, but I also didn’t feel anything crazy about him either.

I think he’s a solid character with a fun route and is probably who most people would try and play first since the game really hooks you into him early.

But I don’t feel like I have too much to say about him. Although I do like him and his sister’s dynamic, and I think he is a very caring and sweet person so that’s really nice.

Helvetica

I decided to play Helvetica’s route second, because honestly I didn’t like him very much based on the common route and Limbo’s route, so I kind of just wanted to get him out of the way and done with.

I feel very conflicted after playing Helvetica’s route. On one hand I’m not a fan of the type of love interest he is (where the game shoves in your face how good looking he is, he’s overly confident/arrogant, and where he teases/bullies MC a lot), so it was a little hard for me to really be into him. But on the other hand I think his character and story was actually really good, and more compelling than Limbo’s route (even though I prefer Limbo’s personality).

Helvetica’s route was super interesting, and had a lot of good moments. Even though I don’t prefer his character archetype I still really empathized and cared about him as a character.

My biggest complaint is this game didn’t commit to its conflict. It really annoys me when these games put high stakes, drama, and interesting plot points only to basically negate everything so there’s no real consequences. I don’t usually like to include spoilers but I’m going to have to because I need to address this so if you don’t want spoilers for this route as well as some from two other games, feel free to skip to the next route’s review.

Basically in this route Helvetica gets seriously injured, that in real life would result in some serious scarring. I wish the game committed to their story and actually left him with some scarring, it doesn’t have to be as bad as possible, but something to show there are real consequences to his actions would have been nice. One of the things I really loved about Mystic Messenger and Empherial was both committed to their injury plots. When Yoosung’s eye gets damaged they committed and kept it damaged. When MC gets scarred in Ray’s route of Empherial they commit and keep her scar. I love that because it means there are actually stakes. I hate it when a game will do something crazy like in Helvetica’s route, but then don’t fully commit to leaving consequences and evidence for their choices. It’s a really big pet peeve for me. So that also made me pretty annoyed with his route. But overall I think his route was good.

Shu

I decided to play Shu next because I was kind of interested in him, but not as much as the last two. I wasn’t really sure how to feel about Shu before playing his route, I don’t like that he’s a smoker, but he didn’t annoy me or seem like a bad guy. So I felt kind of conflicted and wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy his route or not.

After playing I actually enjoyed his route more than I expected to. I think it was pretty engaging and fun to play. I like that you can encourage him to stop smoking, honestly wish that was an option in more games. I also really enjoyed the ending of his route, it was very sweet. Much like Limbo’s route I don’t have much else to add other than it’s good and I like him. If you like the “bad boy” or “family first” type guys you’ll probably like him.

Scarecrow

The two I was most excited to play was Scarecrow and Mozu, so I really struggled to pick who to play first. But I landed on Scarecrow on a whim. But he seems pretty cute and awkward, plus he’s a hacker so I’m pretty down to play his route.

As expected I really enjoyed Scarecrow’s route! He’s so cute and awkward and that’s one of my favorite type of characters to play in these games! He’s also the youngest of the group (I think?), and I like that since I’m not a generally a fan of age gaps.

I would say he’s a very wholesome and sweet guy, very gentlemanly. His route has Enomoto vibes from CxM, so if you liked that you’ll probably like this.

The plot was good and it had a great hook, definitely had me questioning how everything would turn out. But I think Scarecrow and MC have such a cute and wholesome relationship! Just everything about this route was straight up my alley. Very cute and fun to play!

Mozu

I decided to play Mozu last because once again I was most excited for him and Scarecrow, since they both seemed the most like my type. Mozu appeals to me for two reasons, one he’s the quiet and reserved type which I enjoy, and the other is I like his personality a lot. I love that he’s a coroner, and the stuff he says, especially since I used to want to go into a similar field. So overall, very excited to play his route

As expected I really loved Mozu’s route! I just really love Mozu and his route was so good. It was the only to make me cry as well. I felt so many different emotions while playing his route, it was so engaging and interesting. It made me kick my feet happy and also crying from a wide range of feelings. I’m definitely glad I played his route last as he’s probably my favorite of these five. I loved this route! My only complaint is we got the lest of his POV which makes me sad, I also think they have the least couple-y content as well which sucks. But even with that I love him, he’s my favorite, and I enjoyed his route.

Last Two Chapters

I’ll be frank, Full Circle kind of sucked and was lackluster but I didn’t hate it. Auld Lang Syne I actually hated and despised. I need to rant so if you don’t want spoilers go to my final thoughts or click off.

But oh my gosh I hated this so freaking much. Words are not enough. In the common route and all routes I really loved Adam and was holding out hope the secret route would be an Adam route somehow. But no instead we got Auld Lang Syne. Which to be fair you could keep part of it for an Adam route and I’d be happy. Like sure MC’s brother Zora can still be an evil r*pist who SA/r*pes Luka and threatens to do the same to MC, because it’s sick but like we know Zora was a bad guy. You can even keep Adam killing him. But make Adam a route! Don’t give the guy a tumor that makes him loose his grip on reality and destroy his life! Like why did the writers hate Adam?! He did not deserve to go through all the suffering he does. It’s so insanely stupid they refused to give him a route and instead force fed us this rushed garbage. I’m livid, justice for Adam!

Overall

There is a lot I want to say about this game but I don’t know if I’ll remember it all so here we go. One thing I feel kind of conflicted about it the common route feels so long compared to individual routes, which makes some of the romance in the game feel rushed. This paired with the fact you basically have no time to get to know the love interests before your choices matter was not something I’m a fan of. I found it to be pretty frustrating. The common route also sets up a lot of things that don’t have an impact on any route and rather a forced together last minute in the “true ending”. Overall the game was really bad at adding any foreshadowing and suspense, like the fact Shu is a hit man was shocking to MC but not the player. A lot of the game kind of feels like that.

I feel really conflicted about how I feel about this game. On one hand it’s absolutely stunning, has great and dynamic art and animation, great voice acting, and an intriguing premise that really hooks you into the story. But on the other hand the romances feel a tad rushed and don’t really connect or drop hits to the “true ending”. That combined with the fact the last two true ending chapters really sucked, really left a sour taste in my mouth. I think I’m disappointed because before I played the final chapters I think I would have strongly recommended the game. But honestly it’s kind of ruined for me and I don’t think I’ll play the sequel like I had originally thought. And from what I’ve seen online it seems many people don’t like the final chapters. It kind of makes me wish I could be like the MC and go back in time to prevent myself from playing those last two chapters, because then I would have had much more positive things to say.

I don’t think the game is bad, it’s objectively really good and high quality (art wise), I just don’t understand what the writers were hoping for with those last chapters of the game, which sucks because as the true ending that’s where the sequel picks up. So sadly, I don’t think I like this game as much as I originally did and that sucks. I’m kind of worried to post this because I don’t want to be negative, but also not every game will be everyone’s cup of tea, so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt. But that’s all for this one! I’m planning on playing Café Enchant next so look forward to that!

Very Inconvenient !! But wearing a mask starts to be something that makes him feel little just because it is something he does most often when he Is little and similarly !! Sometimes putting a diaper on for bed makes him feel small !!

Yoosung - if ANYONE babies him he WILL be a baby in response 🤍 including praising him and calling him cute OR teasing or worrying for him which !! Happens often hehe… SO much makes him regress like. How do you think yoosung's parents and sister reacted when they found out that he injured his eye (and got partially blinded because of it) in the good/normal ending

Yoosung's relationship with his family is arguably the healthiest we have in the game. (Along with potentially Jaehee and her mother before she passed, but we don't know much information about their dynamic, sadly.) Just like any family, they have their individual squabbles and issues: they have disagreements, they fight and complain about one another over things both big and small. But, at the end of the day, we do see that both Yoosung and his family care for one another deeply. They're by no means perfect, but no family is. What's important is that they care for each other.

So, the most likely answer to the question of how they reacted would be... worried. Very worried. I mean, who wouldn't? I doubt the RFA would tell the whole truth of what really happened, but it's still very stressful to have your loved one get hurt like that. We don't really know how soon his family would learn about his injury, but I'm sure his mother would rush in to visit him as soon as she can. Of course, Yoosung will do all he can to reassure her and tell her that he's fine, and that there's nothing to worry about, as he does with you as well. She might scold him on that front, actually. His mother seems like a tough woman at times! But, she's a tough woman with a loving heart, so it's not anything serious. She just doesn't want her son to hide things like these from her!

Same with his sister, and the rest of his family. I'd actually like to imagine that his time at the hospital helped him reconnect with his family a little after everything that happened after Rika's disappearance. And, it's also your chance to meet them face-to-face! After everything he tells them about you, you're practically considered a part of his family already, so there's nothing for you to worry about. His sister might tease you a little at times, though, but it's all in good fun.

Overall, I imagine Yoosung's time in recovery reminded him and his family of how precious their time together really is. I'd like to think that they grow closer once he checks out of the hospital. His mother may get a bit overprotective at times, but he's used to it. He even indulges her sometimes instead of grumbling that he's not a kid anymore. Nothing wrong with letting your mom take care of you every once in a while! He always makes sure he repays the favor. And his persistence to finish his studies and become a vet sure makes his family very proud.

Just be ready to listen to countless of silly stories of his childhood from his mom and sister as you all gradually get to know one another during hospital visits. Does that mean seeing cute childhood photos of your boyfriend while he whines and blushes in the background? You bet it does.

Things happened the way they did because there was no other way for the dominoes to fall, so to speak - and Luciel will always thank his lucky stars that you came back into his life, a distant moon pulled into his orbit once more.

Fun details:

You and Luciel are the mischief-makers of the RFA. Not only did you convince Yoosung that POADCS was real, you still tease him about it whenever you can work it into the conversation. Seven always gifts him a three-month supply of chocolate milk for his birthday as an over-the-top gag gift... But this is because of an off-handed suggestion from you.

That's not to say you aren't considerate, though! You are the first person Yoosung turns to for gaming duos or advice, and Jaehee and Zen are always grateful that you listen earnestly when they need to vent to someone. Your advice is wiser than your years, Jumin likes to say. You are always well-meaning in the ways you interact with your friends and fellow RFA members, and they appreciate your efforts, appreciate you. Your status as a "mom and therapist friend" is tested when Saeran is brought into the picture. But with careful, slow efforts, you manage to chip away at his walls, coax him out of the dark corners he retreats to. Saeran comes to trust you gradually, surprised by it himself. Whenever you ask Saeyoung about it, though, he can only remind you teasingly that you had a nice trial run with him beforehand, right? So of course you're going to get through to Saeran eventually. (And you will. It will take time, but you will.)

If you make the mistake of telling your embarrassing childhood story to Seven, just know it will haunt you for the rest of your days together. On a date at the park and come across a flock of pigeons? He's going to start obnoxiously belting out Disney songs. Drive by a squirrel? "Hey Siri, play Whistle While You Work." You get the idea... You aren't living this one down.

You and Saeyoung actually go further back... As in, you were childhood friends. You met at the library, and while he studied coding, you brought along your fairytales and coloring books. He got to experience a little bit of what a normal childhood is like through his friendship with you. He learned what friendship could mean, and he always hurried home fo share the stories from your books with his brother, a wide smile on his face the whole way back. It was short-lived, but he remembers it all fondly. Imagine his shock when you wandered back into his life, years later as the new RFA party coordinator! (Of course, knowing the full circumstances, you later realize you were chosen with this very fact in mind...)

Being kind can get you into trouble, Seven thinks. You literally wandered into a random apartment at a stranger's behest, after all. He will always point out the flaws to your eagerness to help. He will take steps to protect you from afar, with your permission.

But you will also remind him that it is because of your reckless kindness that so many good things have come to pass. Your fated first meeting, when you handed him a crayon as children in the library; your friendship with the other RFA members; the successful revival of a wonderful charity organization; the mending of brotherly bonds; and, of course, your own blossoming relationship together. It was all borne of your kind heart and well-meaning actions.

And when you frame it like that, well... The answer to the question, "What do you love the most about her?" has had its answer long before being asked of him. It's the same thing that brought you together as children and, later, as adults. He's known what it was since you hugged him for the first time, surrounded by the comforting smell of crinkled pages and under fluorescent lights - and he has only become more certain of that answer with every day spent by your side. And he loves you for more than just that reason, but it is the one thing he will, undoubtedly, treasure about you the most for the rest of his life.

Saeyoung is more than happy to take in another little sibling. He is the kind of person that wants to do everything to protect his family, and if you want to be a member of his family, he'll protect you. You don't have to be in love with him to help him realize what he wants to do in life.

You just have to love him and want the best for him. He wants the same for you, and he feels fortunate enough to have met someone as special as you. You look up to him, kind of like how Yoosung does, it's sweet. It's a solid remind reminder that the RFA is just like a family to him.
