Her only claim to Meyra's distress was the fact that she was sisters with Elizabeth, and Meyra was trying to avoid Elizabeth until she tried to speak to her family and Oliver first. That was if any of them would even talk to her. Nodding as the other finally spoke, Meyra kept her gaze on her and tried to calm herself. To get rid of the feeling of her stomach dropping. "Right, I appreciate it." She gave a small smile to the woman who while owing her nothing for her strange behavior, was showing her a kindness by agreeing to not mention anything to her sister. "I appreciate it... she just won't be happy to hear I'm back. She will learn soon, I just... need to do something first." It wouldn't be long before it went around that she was back.

It wasn't hard to see the distress that this was causing the woman, and Teagan felt a little bad about that. She tried to remember who the woman was, or what she'd done, but honestly, had probably all happened when Teagan was in the midst of her addiction, and so her recollection from that period is hazy at best. When the woman asked if this could stay between them, it sounded like a pretty desperate plea, and while Teagan didn't like the idea of lying to her sister, this interaction hardly warranted talking to Ellie about. "Look, I don't even know your name." She offered a shrug. "You're just a random brunette who mistook me for a waitress... Hardly seems like something to mention to anyone." Which was the truth. And it wasn't exactly lying not to recount a random encounter you had at the coffee shop. @meyraxbinici

Celine knew as well as any other woman, that it was hard to tell with other women if you had a chance to flirt or not. She felt like it was harder to tell if a girl she spoke to at the bar was actually interested in something sexual or just being friendly and was actually straight. So, when she felt someone flirt with her, Celine was happy to let the blonde know that she was not barking up the wrong tree. "Thank you, Teagan is pretty too. Like the band Tegan and Sara." She thought back to the band she had listened to sometimes in middle school.

"Long day and looking for some company." Celine answered with a slow smirk on her lips. "What about you? What brought someone pretty like you here?" She didn't say that she always tried to look for company most nights, that she hated the empty feeling of going to bed alone. But, Teagan didn't need to know any of that. They could just have a good time.

If the other had somehow indicated that she wasn't okay with the flirting, Teagan wouldn't have taken it to heart. She would have let the other woman have the drink, shared a polite conversation and left it at that. But the brunette leaned in, a smile flashed at Teagan, and she couldn't help but reciprocate it as the bartender slid the drink across the counter. "Nice to meet you, Celine. Pretty name. I'm Teagan."

Pausing, the blonde took a sip of her own drink, before humming. "So, Celine. What brings you to the bar tonight? Long day?" Head tilted, genuinely interested in hearing from the other woman. @celineediz

Teagan couldn't deny that she had laughed just a little when she'd realized that she and Simon Hawthorne had won each other in date night bids; it some how felt a bit like fate was trying to tell them something. She'd been far too caught up in her own life to even think about dating over the course of the last few months, yet, she'd put her foot back in the dating world by attending a few dates, and she was excited to see what would come from these bid dates, even if it was just the foundation for a great friendship. The two had agreed that Simon would still pick her up which Teagan thought made him more of a gentleman. She had just finished getting herself ready when she heard a knock on her door, placing her foot into her shoe before she made her way towards the door. "Hey Simon." she smiled, leaning against the door frame. "Let me just grab my bag really quickly and I'll be ready to go."

Meyra could only think that if Elizabeth was the first to discover her back in town, it would make things a lot harder with her trying to apologize and make things up to her family, to Oliver and to everyone else she had hurt. Elizabeth would most likely try to keep her away from Oliver. She knew how close the two had been and it wouldn't be a stretch to assume she'd hate seeing Meyra back. "I... your sister... she won't be happy to see me." She finally explained, her heart still hammering in her chest even when her sister explained that it would stay between them. "I mean, I don't blame her.. but yeah, she won't want to see me." Or know she was back in town. "Can it stay between us? Can you say nothing about me?" Meyra asked. As she spoke she tried to remember the name of Elizabeth's younger sister. Hadn't the younger Monroe been a grade above her? God what was it? Taylor? Megan? Tracy?

While Teagan had it in her head that she was a pretty shitty sibling to have; what with her drug problem and having given her family quite a lot of grief over the years. But one thing she was was protective. To the point that Elliot had had to physically drag her away from a few fights in their youth when she'd caught people attempting to bully him. So if the other woman had done something directly against Ellie, then Teagan would know about it. As it was, she didn't even quite know who the woman was, but it was clear she had bad vibes with Elizabeth, considering the way her face visibly paled when Teagan mentioned her sister's name. "Look, I'm not my sister, okay?" While the woman sitting at the family looked vaguely familiar, the blonde didn't know her well enough to have any reason to hate her. Celine had settled into the habit of going out most nights to try and find someone to go home with. She knew it was bad. She knew it was messy. But after everything she had done with her boss, Celine knew she was spiraling. And laying awake at night alone in her bed thinking of how terrible of a person she was did her no good. So she came out looking for distractions. Typically she had no preference for who she'd go home with that night, anyone who there was some attraction to who showed her interest was good enough.

And with the way the other winked at her, Celine knew the other woman was testing the water of flirting with her. She smiled at the other's wink, leaning just a little bit closer. "Thanks." She grinned, placing her order with the bartender. "I feel like I need to get the next round. Or do something to thank you." She winked back. "I'm Celine by the way. What's your name?"

Had Teagan come out tonight with the intention attempting to take someone home? Not outrightly, however, she was always open to the possibility. And Teagan was always up for harmless flirting. It kept her occupied, her mind on the world in front of her instead of staying to thinking of other vices. How this interaction would play out, well, time would tell, but Teagan didn't have any expectations.

"It is indeed." She hummed, before letting out a chuckle, winking at Celine before catching the eye of the bartender. When they made their way over, Teagan extended a hand to the other woman, signalling for her to order herself whatever she wanted. "On me." @celineediz
