There are SO MANY i would wanna do. Back when glee was airing I DESPERATELY wanted a rhythm & blues episode and I wanted Blaine to sing literally anything by Otis Redding 😅

My current favorite music artist is MEZKO, they're not well known which is a huge shame bc their music is OUTSTANDING. But. They only really have a couple EPs. I wouldn't even care who sings what, I would just be happy to see MEZKO get the recognition they deserve lol

However, my all-time forever favorite band is Flogging Molly. Much more to work with here lol

Episode would open with Finn, Sam, Puck, Artie, and Mike doing Devil's Dance Floor. Idk what the overarching plot of this hypothetical episode is but we're just gonna roll with it.

Next song would be Seven Deadly Sins. I would really love the Unholy Trinity to do this one, though I do think the rowdy nature of the song doesn't quite fit with Quinn's character. Maybe this is during her skank era.

Next we would have Tina moping alone in an empty auditorium singing The Worst Day b Since Yesterday 😅 poor Tina lol

I don't know many celebrities, I'm too punk rock for that 😅 But! I will create a character.

A Teacher's Assistant or whatever, fresh out of the teaching program in Ball State (I vaguely remember hearing that Ball State has a good teaching program and a lot of my teachers went there, though that might just be because I grew up in the same county as Ball State) She would be a caricature of nepo babies that go to college and get radicalized but don't really know how to express that, so they protest really weird unimportant things.

So this character would be sort of a foil to Sue lol she would hear about the glee club struggling to get funding and be like 'omg finally a Cause for me to champion that won't impact my future job search or my status in my nana's will' and throughout the season she learns how performative activism is actually harmful and she becomes a REAL activist.

Since the question asked for a celebrity, the first one that popped into my head was Emma Stone so. That's who would play her lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Prez (Calpernia) is the head girl, while Whitney is the head boy - 7th year and final year at Hogwarts they are - they're have "mysterious strained" past but now working on it. They're as Cookie's HC, both from Ravenclaw. For Curtis-Ravenclaw, somehow I feel he actually lotta older than them, so I placed him as the assistant professor of DADA (as the one that holding the syllabus lectures, so the things that will taught kinda structured) - dw he'll never get the curse/jinx of 'No DADA teacher can lasts more than a year' because he's not teaches it. Asa could becomes the healer's assistant for madam Pomfrey - but I am not sure as student (so being 7th year) or already graduating. Miss Agatha feels to have similar vibes with Prof. McGonagall, while Molly is to madam Hooch with her agility - but I just don't know if they're in the time of Hogwarts studies (September - June) or not.

The parents which have history in the following houses: Leland Slyterin, Izzy Ravenclaw, Jack Gryffindor and Lilyth Hufflepuff) - and we have more characters in the AU!!

Monika - IMHO it will be interesting if she's in Gryffindor - as what she wants is to be braver (like Ben Copper in Hogwarts Mystery game, he's a coward but learnt to be braver)

Beckett and Bernadette will be in Hufflepuff

Orson in Ravenclaw Idk other Princels thou prob in Slyterin (interesting dynamic hating Blaine in same house ngl)

💰Notorious Park Avenue Prince by Brooke Blaine & Ella Frank💰

Genre: Adult MMM Romance

Series Status: 6th Book (Final)

I was apprehensive going into this because I don't like Easton. He has been my least liked out of the princes, so a book entirely about him wasn't super appealing. The concept is what thankfully piqued my interest. I would have been happy with just an East x King romance, but the fact that it's a Student x Teaching Assistant x Professor romance is juciy!

I think because of how these books are set up to be more sex oriented than romance, it was smart to already have East and Zac hooking up from the first chapter, rather than it beginning during the book. Helped save time. That being said, this book is mainly 4 stars just because it's entertaining. I think King gave in way too easily, which is also a criticism I had of Scandalous Park Avenue Prince. I just think both of those books could have done with more of a slow burn type of setup, especially since King is a teacher and there's way worse repercussions for him sleeping with not only 2 students, but one that works unde him than Archer fucking his daughter's ex! Archer essentially lost everything at the end of his book, and King gets away unscathed.

Then there's the weird secret society stuff that literally goes nowhere. The more I type, the more it sounds like I should give this a lower rating, but I'm not going to, lmao! I think the cloak and dagger shit is probably going to be more explored in the spin-off Park Avenue Kings, which now that I think about it King is kind of the defacto leader and they're the "Kings," so duh??? I'm an idiot, but either way, it felt very weird, and literally nothing comes of it.

To try and be more positive, the reason I've given this a 4 is because I really liked East's journey in this. He's an unlikeable bastard who didn't think he needed anybody, and then realises that maybe there was something to that relationship thing his friends keep going on about. It was just cute, and that all there is to it.

I rewatched I Am Unicorn in preparation for the next recap episode.

Brittany want to run Kurt's campaign for school president, because she thinks he's a unicorn. Kurt is not happy with Brittany's campaign posters, because they are to gay. Brittany thinks Kurt should embrace that he's special. In the end when Kurt comes around, it's too late. Brittany will run for school president herself.

Mr. Shue's decides not to direct the school musical and focus on the New Directions and Nationals. He's institutes a mandatory „Booty Camp“ to work on  their dancing for Finn, Puck, Kurt and Mercedes. Blaine joins volunteraly.

Shelby is back as a part-time teacher for a second show choir for Sugar. She meets up with Puck and Quinn to tell them she wants them to be a part of Beth's life. Quinn pretends to clean up her act to see Beth, but in reality she just wants her back.

Mr. Shue makes Artie the director for the school musical with the assistence of Ms. Pillsbury and Coach Beiste.

Blaine decides not to audition for Tony, because Kurt wants the role. Kurt audions with a Barbra Streisand song. (I'm surprised they let Chris climb around, because he got hurt a lot on Glee. I would consider it too dangerous for him. I want to know if it was Chris' idea to bring his swords into this number.)

Kurt listens scretely to Coach Beiste, Ms. Pillsbury and Artie discussing if he is believable as Tony. (Coach Beiste's line „I want a Tony that excites my lady parts.“  is really inappropiate for a teacher to say about a teenager.)

Kurt auditions again with Rachel's help as Romeo and Juliet, but gets laughed at. (I want to know what Chris felt filming those scenes. It must be close to real life.)

Blaine auditions for Bernado, but Artie wants him as Tony. (There is a picture of Darren playing the violing between takes. Eric Hughes – one of the background musicians – talked about it.)

Sue's campaign against the arts is working and she is leading the polls.

Best song: 3 songs with really different voices. I can't decide. They were all good it their own way.

Best dance move: There was no dancing during the songs. Maybe Mike and Mr. Shue at Booty Camp.

Dave should’ve been the assistant football coach in s6 instead of Sam

• Kurt and Dave going from both being students at McKinley to both being teachers (more or less) and instead of their relationship being toxic it’s just really fucking awkward

• Bc Blaine is dating Dave and therefore around McKinley more often so there’s lots of awkward tension and delicious angst around Klaine/Klaineofsky 

• As Kurt and Blaine make it back to friendlier terms, it lets Kurt and Dave’s friendship grow as well

• At least one double date of Blaineofsky and Kalter that’s still awkward as hell but especially for Walter and Dave bc Klaine’s legendary chemistry can’t be tamed (parallel the Breadstix Mercedes third wheel incident but worse cause they’re both supposedly on dates with other people)

• Dave would get to be Sheldon’s friend and confidant and it would be a good parallel and growth moment of like. Dave needing Kurt’s guidance in s3 and then him being able to turn around and help Sheldon through his transition journey and guiding him on being part of the queer community 

And of course Klaine is still endgame so he still bows out gracefully but idk it hurts more bc they’ve all really become friends through all the awkwardness and they don’t want to hurt one another but. Some things are just meant to be or not be

And maybe we see him in the flashforward with another guy or something idk but he’s happy and they’re all friends. I know he never stood a chance but they could’ve made it feel a little more like he did? I’m glad they brought him back at all though to give his character some closure but still

Oh and Dave being the assistant coach means Sam isn’t there and so no weird awkward Samchel to force down our throats just to throw it in the garbage when you bring Jesse back for no reason so. Win win win all around

#you had me at sam isn't there ajlsjfslkfs listennn. it's not that i dont like sam. its the finnbofication™️ i have a problem with 😬 idk it's hard to articulate bc all of s6 felt unnecessary and time wasty to me. But Sam just felt extra unnecessary and extra time wasty. I don't even hate Samchel but the execution was so awkward and cringeworthy. I think it would've made so much more sense for Dave to be there in his place. But Sam was a main character in s5 so they have to bring him back. He has to fill his role as ultimate ally or whatever i guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Finnbofication™️ lmao that's so accurate though. At least in season 2 he was Finn but much better - by season 6, they kinda left him Finn's role but not really because Hummelberry finished off the Glee Club teacher plot. So Sam feels like he's just There because he's a main character and gotta give him something. But Artie was still a main character and he barely gets anything, at least they just find a way to still involve him in other plots? I think Sam could have also remained part of the cast without taking up so much time with not much substance. I agree on Samchel, too. I think I like it more than most people but mostly in concept, not in execution. And just have that! Give Sam that plot and another reason to be hanging around McKinley. Hell being interested in Rachel is reason enough. Idk, Sam's character's biggest issue overall is that they tried too hard to make him Finn and then backed down and doubled down again. Confusing, at least just let the man be a better Finn then.

Dave, on the other hand, would have been perfect. I'm going to be adopting this "what should have happened" plot if you don't mind haha. He doesn't need to be featured too much, in fact having him be Sheldon's assistant makes sure we cut out the unnecessary stuff. It gives us a reason to see him more, really see that he's changed and happy in his skin now. I think a scene between him and Sheldon where Coach notes what Dave used to be like could have been powerful. Not even in a judgemental way because I think Beiste knows not to hold his past against Dave but, you know, still, takes getting used to. Because the Dave working with him now is a much more well-balanced, mature and happy young man who recognizes how his actions hurt others and tries to do right by a younger generation. Hell, have him and Spencer share a scene on the topic of being a gay guy on the football team and prejudices, times changing, etc. Parallel it with Kurt and Spencer! And even with Beiste, have Coach note that Dave is a changed man then chuckle that well, so is he! And the idea of Dave welcoming Sheldon into the queer community, pls that's so wholesome I want it so bad.

He'd just... make so much more sense in Sam's role. And then we can have the Blainofsky/Klaine stuff you originally mentioned without Dave's involvement feeling too random. Blaine leaving would still be kind of a bummer to him but we know that Dave is gonna be alright because he's a much kinder young man, both to others and himself, who now actively tries to help others instead of lashing out at them. Pls I'm gonna cry this could have been so perfect. And once again bringing Sheldon, my best guy into the fold is just too good. Too good for Glee, evidently.

Kurt and Blaine sat down at one of the chairs in Mrs. Parker’s class, Tracy’s first grade teacher. They have been invited in one of the PTA meetings that the school held and they have decided before they got married that if they are both available, any event in their kid’s life they needed to be present and this meeting falls under the same thing.

As they settled in their chairs, they saw other parents come in. They even saw a very pregnant Rachel being assisted by Finn. They both waved at their family and quickly saved them a seat. Rachel quickly claimed the seat beside Kurt and Finn greeted his two brothers

“Hey dudes”

“Hi Finn” Blaine greeted his brother in law and waved towards Rachel

“Stop calling us dudes, Finn”  Kurt replied, as he rolled his eyes

A few minutes later, they also saw Tina make her way through the room, and as Mrs. Parker entered and as she started to close the door, they heard a man running and was not surprised to see Sam walk in all sweaty and clearly was in a rush to join the meeting.

“Sorry! My sitter ran late and Mercy is still at the studio.”

“No worries, Mr. Evans.” the teacher replied as she allowed him to sit down on one of the chairs. “Now I think we’re all settled so let’s start this meeting.”

The meeting is mostly about the teacher telling the different activities and homework she makes the kids do. She also informed the parents that there is a bake sale happening in the next month and would appreciate it if every parent donated pastries that they could sell or help in the construction of the booth, or even volunteer to sell on the day of. Proceeds from the bake sale will be donated to the homeless shelter that the school supports.

The meeting was about to end when Sam raised his hand.

“Teacher, I have a question.”

“Sure Mr. Evans”

“This week there was a video assignment for them in their art class. I was wondering if that will be a usual thing? My wife got really angry when Andy made a mess at home.” Sam replied, obviously amused by the whole thing.

“We are actually planning on doing more home video assignments for the kids. It helps them gain confidence in speaking, and it also breaks them from the usual monotonous task of answering homework pamphlets.” Mrs. Parker smiled, “but I can assure you Mr. Evans we are done with video assignments in Art class. We will be focusing on other subjects from now on.”

As other parents raised their hands to ask a question, Kurt leaned towards his husband “Did you know any video assignments that Tracy made?”

Blaine shrugs his shoulders, a sign of having also no clue. “Maybe she did it on her own in her room? I didn’t notice anything.”

Kurt sighed and smiled, “Oh our little girl is getting more independent as the day passes.”

“Yeah, I’m proud of her.” Blaine smiled back at his husband

“I just hope that is the case and not because she did not do the assignment.”

“I’m sure she did it. You know how our daughter loves sc-” Blaine suddenly stopped as he remembered something. Kurt was surprised by his husband andt turned to him

“Hon? Are you okay?” surprised by the sudden change in his husband.

Blaine didn’t reply and just held on Kurt’s hand “Kurt, I think Tracy did the assignment.”

“Yeah, we kind of established that-”

“No, I mean, I know she did the assignment.”

“How? I thought you didn’t notice anything.”

“I didn’t notice because I didn’t know! I thought that she was just filming a video for herself and practicing to be a vlogger.” Blaine explained

“Blaine…. What did you do?”

“I didn’t know, okay? I thought she was just playing.”

“Okay honey you’re getting me worried. What did you do?”

“I was… dancing and singing in the background…” he mumbled and the tips of his ears were turning red

Kurt stopped and tried to stop his laughter, and Blaine was already beaten red in the face “I have to see this video.”

“Oh god, I’m so embarrassed. Her teacher probably has seen it.”

The meeting ended without any problem, as the parents leave Kurt quickly stood up and approached Mrs. Parker

“Hi! I’m Kurt Hummel-Anderson, I’m one of Tracy’s dads.” he greeted the teacher and reached out his hand

“Hi Mr. Hummel-Anderson, how can I help you? I can assure you that Tracy is such a lovely child. She’s active in class and always helpful to the other kids.”

“I’m so happy to hear that Mrs. Parker. Actually, I was hoping to see Tracy’s art video assignment. I wasn’t at home during that time and I just want to see how well she’s doing facing the camera and her confidence level.”

Mrs. Parker  smiled and amusement evident in her eyes, she quickly understood what he was trying to do

“Oh I can assure you that Tracy has no problem with facing the camera. I think confidence definitely runs in the family.”

Kurt smiled and saw his husband approach them as he finished helping Rachel stand up. The teacher opened her laptop and turned it towards Kurt

Sam, Tina, Rachel and Finn stayed who behind to catch up with their friends started to approach Kurt as they hear a video playing, Blaine quickly ran up to his husband and said

“No no no, we don’t have to see that Kurt.”

“Oh honey, I’m just checking up on Tracy” clearly holding back his laughter.

As the video starts, they hear Tracy's voice and the first tunes of uptown funk playing in the background. As Tracy is introducing the supplies she will be using, Blaine can be seen behind her starting to dance. As the song progressed, Blaine started to do different dance moves. In the middle, he was joined by their two other sons Alex and Daniel. By the end of the video, Blaine, Alex and Daniel, are actively dancing in the background prompting Tracy to say “What is wrong with this family? I’m just trying to arts.” but she was clearly amused.

The video ended with the kids laughing at their silly father.

Once the video ends, Blaine is hiding his face in his husband's shoulder. Their friends are also greatly amused by Blaine.

“Wow, that’s so precious. Do you mind if you send me a copy of that?” Kurt said as he finished laughing

“Sure thing, Mr. Hummel-Anderson. It was nice seeing how happy your family is.”

“Well, you gotta give credit to my husband. Those moves were fantastic. Right honey?” Kurt turned to asked the still hiding Blaine

“Shudup” Blaine mumbled, face is still hidden on Kurt’s shoulders

“Okay, we have to go,  guys. Thank you Mrs. Parker. I’ll be looking forward to that video.”

“Come on, Papa We can dance some more once we get home.” Kurt said, pulling a still red but smiley Blaine

Adopted at a very young age, Daksh -- who prefers to be called ‘Dec’ -- always grew up in a world of imagination and curosity. Childless and desperate to give children a chance as a great life, his adoptive parents went on to adopt once again (his youngest sister). Dec’s parents were actors in their own right, volunteering any chance they could to bring joy to those less fortunate -- at Renaissance faires with charity shows, at shelters seasonally as Mr. & Mrs. Claus during the holiday season, etc.

In turn, Dec always strived to give back. While not as graceful as his parents, he grew up with a love for magic and writing, often spending his days curating shows for school talent competitions. Of course, this came with its own set of challenges given he was seen as somewhat of a nerd, an outsider, but Dec continued to keep a good head on his shoulders and a stride in his step. He tried out for a bunch of sports, but ultimately fell short as a bench warmer for the football team.

With the hopes of becoming an English teacher, he went on to college and pursued an English degree. In that time he attempted to write a sci-fi fiction series that ultimately fell flat on its face with dozens upon dozens of rejections letters. When it came down to his degree, he fell short there as well -- as the mantra ‘those who cannot do, teach’ went literally, and he couldn’t even teach.

So he became a magician.

Taking the skills he loved so dearly as a child, he started under the pseudonym ‘The Mysterious Holmes’ and created a name for himself in the entertainment industry. While no David Blaine, he often books birthday parties and corporate events to keep the money coming. Otherwise he lives a very boring, very subdued lifestyle where much of everything is romanticized.

Dec always finds himself at the wrong place, wrong time, but somehow comes out unscathed every time due to the fact that he’s an overly chatty man with relatively earnest intentions.

Kennedy made her way to her seat in World History, Dionne waiting with a smile and two iced coffees, one half empty. Kennedy placed her bag down beside her, gracefully sliding into the chair as Dionne held the drink out to her. 

“I had Murphy run to a local cafe for these, I hope you like it. I know I do.” Kennedy took the drink and held it to her lips, it gave off a sweet and intoxicating vanilla scent, and it tasted divine. Kennedy scanned the classroom, Evelyn and Peter rambling about which country had the richest history, Alexei and Henri were both on their phones comparing their backflips and Tatum was standing in the doorway with his hand on his earpiece as he shot Kennedy a reassuring nod before walking away to “check the perimeter.” 

“Hey...look who’s here…” Dionne chuckled with her sweet laugh as Blaine strolled into the lecture hall, her hair falling over her shoulders, her golden hoops shining, her bracelets jingling just loud enough to make her presence known and her eyes staring right at Kennedy. Kennedy couldn’t help the red blush that crept up her cheeks, there was something between them that she couldn’t put a pin on...or she was in denial about it. Blaine took her seat across the hall, taking out her phone and scrolling away until Professor Masako began speaking. Kennedy’s eyes drifted to whatever Masako was writing on the board but her eyes always turned to gaze at Blaine, she was so intoxicating. A gentle tap on the shoulder pulled her out of her daydream state, Kennedy turned to see Ayna standing next to her chair with her arms crossed as she leaned down to whisper to Kennedy.

“Focus on class, I’m sure you can eyeball Blaine later.” Ayna spoke with a different tone, it came out so sharp and bitter. Kennedy felt her body grow cold, she never expected Ayna to speak with such...harshness? Jealousy? Was Ayna jealous that Kennedy was staring at Blaine. She turned expecting Ayna to still be beside her but she had disappeared, Kennedy focused on the board and Professor Masako’s endless rambling. It felt like class dragged on and on forever...

“Look.” Dionne whispered as Kennedy jolted up from taking notes and caught Blaine’s deep eyes gazing at her, Blane’s face carrying a subtle smirk that sent electricity up Kennedy’s whole body. 

“Ahem.” Ayna coughed from across the room where she sat at a desk with a stack of papers to grade in front of her, and her eyes switching between Blaine and Kennedy. Kennedy turned to meet Ayna’s eyes, there was something there too that she couldn’t define, but she could sense that Ayna felt it too. Dionne gently tapped Kennedy’s shoulder, bringing her to focus on Blaine who was angrily gazing at Ayna...and Ayna was glaring right back at Blaine. 

“Oh this is too good Kennedy…” Dionne whispered with a small laugh as she nudged Kennedy’s side with her pen. “You’ve got Ayna and Blaine at each other’s throat over you, and it’s so obvious.” 

“Wait no that’s…”

“You can see it...you can feel it too Kennedy. The way Ayna stormed up to you when you were staring at Blaine was so obvious anyone could have picked up on it…” Dionne smirked at her, wiggling her eyebrows in amusement as Kennedy turned to focus on Professor Masako. 

“I...we should focus…” Kennedy whispered, her whole body tingling and her heart racing. She refused to believe it, how could her enemy and her TA both have feelings for her. The whole situation was complicated and Kennedy couldn’t process it, especially during lecture. Dionne hummed softly before turning back to her notes, Kennedy making her best effort to focus until the class ended...occasionally catching both Blaine and Ayna staring at her. 

“Blaine, could you stay after class for a moment, I need to speak with you.” Ayna spoke firmly, her usual enthusiastic tone gone. Blaine shifted in her seat, her arms crossed as she almost rolled her eyes before standing and moving to speak with Ayna.  Kennedy slowly packed her bags and followed Dionne almost out of the lecture hall before stopping around a corner. 

“Kennedy what are you doing?” Dionne asked as Murphy and Tatum appeared at their sides. “Ohhh...I see...have fun with that! I’ll see you at home.” Dionne waved as she walked towards their dorm, Tatum raising an unamused brow at Kennedy who leaned around the corner to hear Blaine’s conversation with Ayna.

“What were you doing during class today Blaine? Was it...productive…?” 

“Notes...listening to Masako’s endless speech on history…what were you doing today? I saw your face when Kennedy was looking at me, you’re jealous...” Blaine crossed her arms obviously irritated with Anya, who clenched her jaw at Blaine’s words. The room was filled with tension and Kennedy could sense it, but she began to worry about it. Ayna could easily have Blaine expelled and Blaine could easily have Ayna fired, it was in the hands of mutual destruction. 

“I was doing my job. I am not jealous, neither of you should be distracted during lecture...” Ayna crossed her arms and took a daring step closer to Blaine. “It’s unprofessional for students to fraternize during class.”

“Oh yeah? And a TA hitting on a student is better right?” Blaine tilted her head just slightly as Ayna covered her mouth as a blush crept up her cheeks. “Just admit you’re jealous and I won’t report this to the dean.”

“No! I would never! I just care about her and her success-” Ayna furrowed her brows at Blaine who stood unfazed, and quite amused. “Just get out, go...this never happened.” Ayna’s voice shook, probably out of fear as Blaine sighed, giving Ayna a soft smile. 

“I don’t blame you Ayna, Kennedy is hot. Your secret is safe with me, I’d rather beat you to her. Besides...I could get you fired and you could get me expelled or ruin my name with tabloids...let’s just do this woman to woman...and may the best woman win.” Blaine flashed her dashing smile as she turned back to Ayna who looked a combination of frustrated, jealous and mostly terrified. Once Blaine was out of the building, Ayna pinched her nose with a frown, smoothing her skirt out and adjusting her glasses before taking a few deep breaths to calm herself before gathering her papers up and heading back to her office. 

Kennedy began walking away from the building, Tatum following behind as she tried to process what she had just witnessed. There was so much to think about...Blaine’s intense gaze, Ayna’s intense gaze, Blaine and Ayna angrily glaring at each other and whatever the fuck that whole converstion was. The more Kennedy thought about the situation the crazier it sounded...the daughter of her biggest political rival and her teacher's assistant were both...fighting over her. 

“Tatum. What do I do? I know you heard that conversation.” Kennedy paused at the door of her suite, Tatum wearing his usual stoic expression. 

“Neither of them.” Tatum spoke firmly, the muscles in his face full of tension as Kennedy stood with an emotionless expression. “Blaine would be the worst out of the two but I would stay clear of both of them.” 

“Mmm, I’ll figure it out I guess.” Kennedy gave Tatum a curt nod before going inside and heading straight to her room. Now she had to deal with Blaine, Ayna both jealous over her and all exceptionally cliche lovers. Blaine, a political rival...and Ayna a TA. It was so ironic, It was all too much to think about, she dropped her bag on the floor and she collapsed on the bed. She let herself off to sleep and forgot about all of the problems and the jealousy that could wait for another day. 

“Hey Kennedy...there’s....people here to see you…” Dionne’s voice brought Kennedy out of her slumber, she slowly moved off of her bed and to the door where Blaine and Ayna stood far from each other, both of their arms crossed. Dionne stood awkwardly at the door before silently moving back and letting both women inside before exiting the building herself. Blaine and Ayna moved to stand distant from each other, their gazes both softening as they looked at Kennedy. Blaine and Ayna spoke at the same time, Ayna huffing in frustration and Blaine rolling her eyes, before both of their heads turned to glare at the other before turning back to Kennedy. 

“We all need to talk. Right now.”

Are you interested in Ask The Future Gleeks but you're not comfortable playing a canon character-- or interested in any of the ones that are left? After speaking with the players here, I've decided to open the rp up to a select number of original characters. Not enough to overrun the rp, but enough to fill it out a bit more and offer more diverse opportunities.

There is a catch, though.

All original characters must be connected to a canon Glee character in some way, and I don't mean siblings. The only siblings that are available for play here are the canon siblings, unless someone requests different. Blaine has an older brother, Brittany mentions a sister, and Quinn has Frannie. The connections I'm talking about are connections to their adult life, which are what give them reason to exist here in a Glee rp. They aren't free-floating characters, they connect in the same way as the minor canon characters on the show connect to the main characters. The wanted connection form is now on the mobile nav. 

Examples of connections that I can recall being mentioned already are:

parents of babies that play with Klaine's baby

Sebastian's personal assistant at his dance studio

people that Sebastian's parents are trying to set him up with

I'd also like to see some characters come back into the Glee spotlight from the Haverbrook School For The Deaf and Jane Addams school for troubled teens, all of which are going to be OCs because we never got anything but school names for these two locations, but they add diversity into the Ohio show choir scene. These don't have to be connected to any canon character, they can be completely free floating and on their own.

Most minor characters have no biography information and so few lines that they're basically OCs, but not everyone is comfortable with that either. Hopefully this approach makes sense, and hopefully it caters a bit to both the crowd that only plays OCs and the crowd that feels like OCs take away from the "canon Glee vibe." Personally, I think this is the perfect way to make this rp more welcoming, to offer more diversity, and to realistically bring it into the future. Just like there were minor characters in the canon scene, there would be new minor characters based on their new lives as well. Those are these OCs. We're basically just filling in some of the blanks on the canon flash to the future.

Rating: T (for some self-deprecating stuff)

Summary: Ayna feels guilty about Magnus taking the brunt of the scandal, but he is having none of her negative talk.

Notes: Ayna betrayal plotline? Who's that? Never heard of her. That never happened. I don't know what you're talking about. Anyway, here's a comfort fic for my favorite TA, because I will not take any Ayna slander, not even from Ayna herself. I would just like to say that before I locked in my scandal partner, I had such a hard time picking between Ayna and Blaine, but I went with the latter for maximum drama. Doesn’t mean I still can’t ship my current MC with Ayna though, because I can do what I want. I hope y’all enjoy!

Ayna leaned against her hand propped up on her desk, the words on the paper she was reading starting to blur as she tried her best to stay awake. Ever since she saw the front page cover of the stupid tabloid and Magnus had been the talk of the proverbial town, she hadn’t been able to get a good night's rest as she was wracked with anger and guilt.

Anger at the people who have passed judgement on him so quickly, who decided they knew exactly what kind of person he was based on one stupid picture and the speculations not just on the company he kept, but also on his character...

...and guilt for not being there to take the fall with him. A part of her kept wondering what might have happened if she didn’t get the chance to cover her face the way she did that night. Another part wondered what would have happened if she had just come forward earlier, but Magnus quickly shot the idea down. He explained to her that it was for the best, that he wanted to protect her from the scrutiny.

"You don't have an entire PR team that can spin the story around or make sure it gets buried. This won't just ruin your image -- if you lose your job because of this, it could ruin your life. Please don't say anything to anyone. Let me do this for you, I can handle it," he told her the last time they talked in person. She knew he was just trying to reassure her, but even she can see through the sadness and stress in his eyes, despite the smile he gave then.

At the moment, she simply was not in the best state of mind, and adding to the pile the other things she had going on in her life... she was damn near close to bursting. She was just about to take another sip of coffee, desperate to stay awake, when she heard a knock on her office door. "Come in."

In popped up a familiar head of fiery red hair, his eyes seeming to dart around cautiously before realizing she was alone. A bright smile shone on his face as he came in, waving off to someone from behind the door.

"Magnus, what are you doing here?" Ayna yelped in surprise, standing up.

"I came to see you," he said like it was the most obvious thing, slowly closing the door behind him to make minimal sound.

"What, w-what if someone saw you? Someone might've tailed you o-or people might get suspicious--"

"Hey, don't worry," Magnus stepped toward her, laying his hand on top of hers. "If anyone saw me, they might just think I needed to talk to you about something -- you're also my academic advisor, after all. Plus, Tatum checked and not many other people are out there. I told him to take a short walk so people won't suspect that I’m here for too long."

"Yeah, but we need to be more careful still, I don't want you to--"

"Ayna, I promise I've got it covered, okay?" He squeezed her hand in his, and laid the other one on top. "Just trust me."

She looked up at him, sighing wearily as she let her shoulders relax and sat back down. The young man offered a smile of reassurance, taking a seat from across her desk and carrying it over to the other side to sit next to her. “So, how’ve you been?”

“Honestly? Not great,” she replied, leaning back as she glanced at her laptop screen, multiple windows and tabs opened. “This manuscript isn’t exactly easy to write,” she added with a chuckle. Working on it had been her way of distracting herself from other problems recently, but it wasn’t entirely successful. Her mind had still been brewing with “what-ifs” -- it was much easier to be told not to worry than to actually do it. But she didn’t want to dwell on herself for too long.

“What about you, though? I know the last few weeks have been...” she trailed off, looking down as she was unsure.

“It hasn’t been all bad. I did get Joaquin, after all.” Ah yes, that lynx he got at the pet store during that live interview. Ayna had tuned into it then, and she remembered her fists clenching when the host brought up the scandal unprompted. She almost wished she could have told off that nosy woman to keep out of his personal life, but the way he was able to take back control of it was quite an admirable sight.

“You wanna see pictures?” He excitedly brought out his phone, leaning closer to show her the whole album he had dedicated to the small feline.

“You’ve had him for all of two weeks and you’ve already taken, what, a hundred pictures?” She couldn’t help the amused laugh that escaped her, listening to him coo at nearly every photo he swept through -- some of Joaquin jumping around, some playing with toys, and even some with Dionne in the frame. She had to admit, the combination of the adorable pictures and the equally adorable sight of him describing each one did help lift her spirits a little.

“I can’t help being a proud papa now,” he said, stopping on the picture of the one he took of Joaquin’s first day in the suite. “He’s been helpful in... distracting me, I guess. He somehow just knows what I’m feeling, coming in to comfort me at the right time. The break from reality is always welcome.”

Magnus looked at the woman, noting how her eyebrows furrowed and the frown she wore as he talked about his experience. “Sounds like you might need a break too.”

“This dissertation isn’t gonna finish itself.”

“You know that’s not what I mean, Ayna.”

Guess he managed to learn a thing or two from the lynx then.

“I know you said not to worry about it, that you’d handle it, but...” she sighed, shrinking into herself as she avoided his gaze. “I can’t help it when it’s about you. I can’t even imagine what you’re going through, having thousands of eyes watching you, like they’re waiting for you to slip up.”

The Rutherlandian reached around and wrapped an arm on her shoulders, pulling her closer. “It’s not really anything I haven’t dealt with before. In a way, I’ve kinda gotten used to it.”

“But a scandal of this proportion? That... that has to be different,” she replied, trying to allow herself to lean into him, but not feeling like she deserved his comfort. “It’s not just people waiting for you to mess up now, because they already think you have and they want to watch the whole downward spiral.”

Magnus knew she had been feeling guilty over not getting to step forward and take part of the “blame” (if one could even call it that), but he had no idea how much this was eating at her.

“I can’t help but feel awful that you’ve become the target of such harassment. It wasn’t even your fault! And your mother shouldn’t blame you for everything either, you’re just living your life!”

“Ayna--”

“And here I am. I’m not the one being swarmed by paparazzi and having personal details of my life picked at, but I’m the one who’s stressed and anxious about it. God, how fucking selfish is it of me, feeling sorry for myself when you’re the one dealing with it all. It’s stupid of me to just--”

Ayna felt her face turned up, a gentle yet firm hand cupping her cheek as she met another pair of brown eyes. Anything else she might have wanted to say died off as they looked at each other, but she felt grounded by the way his thumb caressed her cheek.

“You don’t have to feel bad for worrying about me. I love that you care,” he said softly, a small smile playing on his lips. “But it’s not your fault either. What happened already happened, we can’t change that.”

I still wish I could.

The teacher’s assistant let out a shaky breath, leaning into his touch as she brought her hand up to cover his. “I... don’t deserve you, Magnus.”

“No, no, don’t say that. You are kind and beautiful, and you just have-- you have such pure intentions. I know you want to weather the storm with me on this, but I’m doing this for both our sakes. I want you to come out of this safe. Even if they did somehow know it was you, I’d still be keeping you out of it. You shouldn’t have to go through what I do.”

She shook her head, her eyes starting to look glassy as she took in his words. She wanted to believe what he was saying about her, but it was so hard. She didn’t know how he could see those things in her, especially now, vulnerable as she was. She could feel her throat start to choke up, but she spoke anyway. “I wish you didn’t have to... go through it alone. This... this isn’t worth it.” I’m not worth it.

“It is worth it, because you are absolutely worth going through this for.” He started to brush away the tears that rolled down her cheek, before digging into his pockets to find a handkerchief.

“And I’m not going through this alone. I still have you here with me,” he patted her face dry gently, wanting to let her absorb the meaning of his words. He wanted her to know that he meant every word -- that he was sincere in his feelings for her. “Even if you’re not out there with me, knowing that you have my back helps give me the strength to get through another day.”

His patient reassurance lightened the burden inside, if only a little. He knew it wouldn’t be so easy to get her to believe it all, but he would make her see it someday, no matter how long it took.

“I care about you so much, Ayna. You mean more to me than you know.”

Even though it didn’t fully relieve her of the heaviness, those words struck her in a way that helped pull her out of her head. For the first time since the day started, she smiled. A genuine, loving smile through her tears, from knowing that the person she adored so deeply felt the same way about her. If earlier her heart ached with sadness and guilt, now it ached with affection and love for him.

“I care about you too, Magnus,” she said with a sniffle, clearing her throat as it came out rather soft and high-pitched. “I care about you so, so much. I just kinda wish... I could, like, smack away every paparazzo trying to get near you right now.”

Magnus laughed at her exclamation. Sure, he expected that kind of outburst from his friend Blaine, but from Ayna? It was both amusing and endearing.

“Well when we become public, maybe you could. Tatum might even help you with that,” he replied, giving her the handkerchief.

A simple word gave her pause, making her look up at him again, a hopeful glint in her eyes. “When?”

“Well yeah. I... I really like you, Ayna. And I’m not just saying that, I really do. I was kinda hoping that, one day, when things are more, uh, quiet, we could actually be... you know, like, together together.” If his arm wasn’t around her then, he would have been wringing his hands together out of nerves. Was it too soon to bring up that kind of talk? Too soon for them? What if he just jumped into this? He hadn’t even considered if she wanted a relationship yet. Wait wait, he should backtrack--

Ayna pushed forward to kiss him, hands cupping his face as she kept him close. It didn’t take long for Magnus to fall into it, returning it just as eagerly. He could practically feel her smiling against him, a light and fluttering sensation filling his stomach. After a few moments in bliss, they slowly pulled apart, a wide smile on both their faces.

“I would love to be together together with you,” she teased, earning an exasperated sigh from the First Son.

“I get the feeling you’re not gonna let me live that down, huh?”

She only laughed in response, pecking him quickly on the lips again. “Thank you for everything so far, Magnus. I hope I didn’t seem ungrateful for your protection.”

“Not at all, don’t give me that talk.” He rested his forehead onto hers, his gaze turning soft. “You know I’d do anything for you.”

Her thumb gently caressed his cheek, smiling fondly at him. “Would you... let me meet Joaquin some time?”

Needless to say, he said yes.

But one rejection letter later and Jamie was moving to San Diego to pursue his PHD while Blaine got accepted to the doctorate program at their Alma Mater. ASU without Jamie didn’t make sense to Blaine and he was not happy about it. They totally wasted a good storyline conversion with Sam... Like, Sam taking over the New Directions in the finale is obviously supposed to be a replacement for the original plans for Finn...

But they never gave us the REAL build-up to that happening for Sam... he was just magically assistant coach... and then just as magically ND Director. He wasn’t really a character in S6, he was a story prop...

What I WANTED was a different 5b/6... Sam goes back to Lima in the S5 finale, and when he gets there he goes to the school because it’s the only place he REALLY felt a sense of belonging at any point.

And he and Beiste are friends, really... and he gets along with Emma...

So they have a meeting in Emma’s office.

“I know I’m not a student here, but I could use some guidance. I don’t know what I want to do with my life.”

And Emma looks him over appraisingly, and (surprisingly insightfully) says: “When you came back your junior year, why did you come back here?”

“Finn and Rachel dragged me back. They needed extra heads for Sectionals.”

Emma: “No. I mean, they did, but that’s not why they brought you back.”

Beiste: “They brought you back because you’re good at what you do. They brought you back because you’re passionate. You’re a leader, pumpkin. Don’t ever forget that.”

Emma: “I hear you came back, and immediately slipped back in and started giving your ideas. You stood up to Blaine trying to push you around for dominance in the group.”

Beiste: “Then you went and threw yourself into a completely new sport. You like a challenge, and you’re good at leading a group.”

Sam: “I joined a new sport because I wanted a letterman jacket to get my ex-girlfriend back.”

Beiste: “Mercedes? You think Mercedes cared if her man had a letterman jacket. You did it because you wanted to, don’t downplay that.”

Sam: “Sure... Okay? So, what can I do with that?”

Emma: “I mean, most jobs need some kind of leadership skills. Office managers. Shop owners... Teachers...”

Sam: “I’m dyslexic. I barely graduated. I’m never going to get a job as a manager, and the number of FORMS you have to fill out as a manager makes me feel dizzy just thinking about it. And I know I look good, but I could barely handle a month as a model. I think that door’s closed for me now.”

Beiste: “You’re a smart kid. You’ll work something out. But until then, my budget is increasing next year. Three consecutive championships, and sponsorships are starting to come in. I have room in the budget for an assistant coach, and that doesn’t need any qualifications.”

Sam: “There’s gotta be people better-suited for the job.”

Beiste: “I need someone driven, motivated... I need a people person... I need someone who doesn’t take any shit... But I also need someone who knows how to lead. Someone who can make a split-second decision and take a risk on a new approach. And someone who won’t take any shit from anyone.”

Sam: “Exactly. You need someone with experience. That’s not me.”

Beiste: “You’re a three-time regional and one-time national champion. You led that glee club through so much, regardless of if you were actually the leader. You busted the Warblers for drug use. You corralled the New Directions for pep talks and speeches. My team needs that. We’re losing our stars again this summer. I need someone on-board who knows me, knows who I can work with, and helps me make good choices at try-outs.”

Sam: “Do you really think that’s me?”

Beiste: “Hell yeah it is!”

Emma: “And, Sam... Talk to Principal Sue. I know the school wasn’t very proactive with your dyslexia, but you KNOW that if you mention it to Sue, she’ll sort it out so others don’t have to go through that... She’s evil, don’t get me wrong, but she also cares about making students the best they can be, and supporting students who need something.”

Sam: “Isn’t that supposed to be your job too?”

Emma: “Yes, and I should have seen it sooner. Your old school didn’t send your diagnosis along, and you never came to see me about it. But I also never came to see you, and none of your teachers ever reported a concern. This isn’t just on Principal Figgins, it’s on me, and every other teacher you had at this school. Including Will.”

Then Season 6 is a lot of Sam getting support from the school for his dyslexia (because he’s not a student, but he IS a staff member, and Sue has proven before that if she can right a wrong and it makes her look good, she 110% will), and taking a couple of extension classes in things he’s passionate about. A sports leadership course, and some music classes.

The entire season leads up to the canonical ending of Principal Will assigning Sam to head the New Directions, but this time we actually get to SEE Sam coming to believe in himself, and in his ability to do that job, rather than it being shoehorned into the final episode.

i think my fav thing about this is how sam is the person to seek out emma, i feel like one of the things he’s had trouble with in the serious is reaching out for help.

and i love beiste and emma support him and help him realize how much of a leader he’s been the whole time ahhhh 💖💖💖
