i don’t think anyone’s ever attempted to eat ANY of the aliens in whalefall yet but they probably all have a lot of residual radiation in their bodies as they’re scavengers and will be feeding directly on carcasses whenever available, so you will probably turn into the thang from That Thang . HOWEVER if we ignore the whole whale radiation thing i’m sure some species are very tasty if you prep em right. i’ve never had urchins in any form before so i’m not sure what the taste/texture would be like. a good deal of them are probably poisonous on top of it all though so i’d watch out
