Rumor has it that the scene in Rebel Moon where Tarak tames the bennu (griffin) was something Snyder originally had in a 300 style script he was working on about Alexander the Great and Hephaestion (the story around Alexander's breaking in of his horse) and now I kind of want that movie too.

Supposedly it was supposed to be very homoerotic, which would have been a plus.
