Statusupdate

Eben hat die drohne237894 erneut Update 8 aufgespielt und ihr System auf die Version 8.0 aktualisiert.

Nach langer Trainingsphase erfolgte bei drohne237894 leider kein Fortschritt und auch der vergangene Woche eingeschlichene Virus brachte ebenfalls eine Zwangspause für die weiteren Installationen mit sich. Aber in jedem Fluch steckt sehr oft auch ein Segen.

So konnte die drohne237894 diesen Virus als eine Art Reset und Bereinigungsvorgang identifizieren.

So kam es auch, dass mich dieser Reset dazu brachte, mit völlig frischen Ressourcen und neuer Energie einen erneuten Anlauf starten zu lassen. Die vorherige erholsame Nachtruhe, ein freier flüchtiger Speicher sorgten für freie Ressourcen. Während der Ablenkung auf der Seite Youtube und der Betrachtung eleganter Damen in schicken Bekleidungen verspürte ich eine etwas länger unbekanntere Reaktion im Schritt. Ursprünglich wollte ich dieses unbeachtet lassen und versuchte, dieses von selbst wieder abklingen zu lassen.

Anscheinend schienen dieses aber Routinen zu sein, die noch als Fragmente aus bisherigen Installationen vorhanden waren. Nach einer Achterbahnfahrt der Gefühle der Erregung habe ich in den Automatik Modus umgeschaltet und mich Lady Tara hingeben. Darauf lief eine Art Stapelverarbeitung - Kopfhörer auf, MP3 Player eingeschaltet und die Wahl des Stückes funktionierte ebenfalls automatisch. Die Routine wählte dabei Update 8, anschließend ab ins Bett und Lady Taras Stimme lauschen. Die Programmierung hat mich dabei so "gepackt", dass ich nur noch zuhören konnte und mein Körper reagiert hat.

Auch war die Installation des Update 8 so "tief", dass das erste Mal meine Drohnen ID vor meinem inneren Auge sehen konnte.

November Movie Wrap Up

Beetlejuice: 6/10. It was not what I was expecting. I can’t say exactly what I was expecting, but it wasn’t what I got. Did I love Delia and Barbara? Hell yes I did. Did I love the plot? Eh, I didn’t hate it, but it felt a little rushed and a bit all over the place.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice: 8/10. I actually much preferred the sequel to the original, which is rare for me. There were a couple of parts that could have been explored more, but overall, it was one of the better movies I’ve seen in a while.

Dirty Movie: 3/10. If you want a plot, then you’re in the wrong place. It did have some good jokes…and some groaners…and some wildly offensive ones. Not sure it was worth the whole hour and a half, but again, it had some moments. I got to see Bianca Del Rio like three times, so win some lose some with this one.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile: 6/10. It wasn’t as awful as I was expecting it to be. It did a decent job with details of the case and occasionally had good representation of Ted’s character, but as a special interest of mine, it was no surprise that I was disappointed. If you’re new to the case, watch it, it gives a decent rundown of the major aspects without too much detail, but if you know it well, it’s completely skippable.

Grace: 5/10. Almost the entire plot was predictable by the trailer alone, so you don’t have to pay a lot of attention to follow it. There was a couple of good scenes and a wild ending, but nothing all that spectacular really.

Lovewrecked: 5/10. There was nothing wrong with this movie, it was just meh. It had potential, and there were some funny moments, but the end felt a little rushed.

Terrifier: 9/10. Some people say there’s no plot, and I guess that’s true enough, but I loved it. I was rooting for Tara, and the kills were super creative and gory and just flat out thrilling. Art is so disturbing in the best way. Solid movie. Would 100% watch again and recommend for horror lovers.

Terrifier 2: 2/10. Every time I think about this one, I want to give it a point lower than I have (I started at 6/10). Way too much back story for characters I did not end up caring about in the slightest. So many plot holes it is still pissing me off. And going from realistic, if senseless, killing spree to supernatural bullshit just soured this one for me so bad.

Terrifier 3: 4/10. Points are for the creative kills and Art being Art. Again, the (unnecessary) plot was boring, the supernatural/chosen one shit is really killing this franchise for me. I signed up for a slasher flick and I’m getting superhero in the making and I hate it. Take me back to the first one when it just felt right. 😫

The Fabulous Four: 8/10. You can’t go wrong with the ensemble of Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Megan Mullally. It was sweet at times, funny enough that I actually laughed out loud a few times. The script wasn’t stellar tbh, but for a movie about four older women, I was just thankful that there was no surprise twist that one of them was dying.

The Wedding Video: 7/10. Solid movie, bit boring at times, but sweet and funny enough to keep my attention. Great cast. Lucy Punch, Harriet Walter, Michelle Gomez and Matt Berry were all great. Overall, definitely not a bad one but not one I’d probably rewatch.

6 Souls: 6/10. Part thriller, part supernatural horror, it was not really my genre. It also felt a little slow at times in the first half, but really, it wasn’t bad. Really fast paced, twisty turny ending. If this sort of movie is your jam, then you’d probably get like a 7 or 8 out of it. The acting was definitely good, it just wasn’t really my type of movie overall.

Statusbericht 004

Die darauffolgende Woche führte ich meine Konditionierung mit den Basis Triggern (Schlaf für mich und Tiefer) fort. Hierdurch wollte ich ein höheres Entspannungslevel während der Sitzung und eine bessere Aufnahme der gegebenen Suggestionen durch mein Unterbewusstsein erreichen.

Die nötige Abwechslung habe ich mit der Hypnose "Mindfuck - The Beginning" erzielt. Diese Hypnose eignet sich meiner Meinung ideal zur Abwechslung zu den Basis Triggern, weil diese einen ebenfalls wichtigen Trigger aktiviert. Gleichzeitig trägt diese Hypnose durch den Anfang des Files neben dem Trainingsaspekt der Basis Trigger auch zur Erhöhung der Entspannungslevel bei.

Das folgende Wochenende begann ich - für eine Ausweitung der Abwechslung - mit einem Ausflug in die erneute Sklavenzeit. Hierzu nutzte ich die Hypnose "Gefangen". Im Vergleich zu früheren Sitzungen war ein großer Unterschied zu spüren. Die Samstagssitzung diente primär zur Auffrischung der Suggestionen, zeigte dabei aber schon ein wenig des Potenzials der gegebenen Suggestionen. Beim Hören der ersten Worte war eine direkte Reaktion meines Körpers zu spüren, wodurch die Möglichkeit zur Bewegung nicht mehr gegeben war - sozusagen wurde mein Bewegungszentrum direkt deaktiviert.

Aufgrund der noch nicht allzu tiefen Trance fühlte sich dieser Zustand wie eine fremd herbeigeführte Streckung meines Körpers mit anschließender Justierung durch unsichtbare Gurte an. Auch hatte ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl keinen eigenen Willen mehr zu besitzen und diesen mit Start der Sitzung direkt an Lady Tara abgegeben zu haben. Der fehlende eigene Wille sorgte wohl auch zur Deaktivierung der gewünschten Möglichkeit meinen Kopf zur Seite drehen zu können. Nach dem Ende der Sitzung besaß ich keine Erinnerung mehr an die Hypnose. Beim finalen Wecken durch Lady Tara fühlte es sich auch so an, als ob ich wirklich höher und höher steigen würde - wie auf einem höhenverstellbaren Bett beim Drücken der Taste "nach oben".

Auch wurden durch diese Hypnose die Wirkung der beiden Basis Trigger und des Triggers "Mindfuck" gesteigert. Dieses war bereits meine dritte Hypnose, welche unbewusst bzw. durch mein Unterbewusstsein gewählt wurde. Am darauffolgenden Tag (Sonntag) kehrte ich erneut zur Hypnose "Gefangen" zurück, um einerseits die Wirkung der Suggestionen zu verstärken und um andererseits die zuvor erlebten Gefühle erneut zu erleben.

Da aber bei der Wiederholung der Hypnose "Gefangen" die Wirkung nicht so ausfiel wie zuvor, beendete ich diese Woche / diesen Tag mit der Hypnose "Schlaf für mich". Diese sollte neben der erneuten Steigerung der Entspannung auch für eine Verstärkung des Triggers "Schlaf für mich" sorgen.

Goodness Gracious, Great Helpings of Nostalgia!!

[Just realised this is NOT the first time I've written about nostalgia. And guessing won't be the last. Sure, makes sense, i) as I age and ii) as I try to figure out my drivers and influences, and which of these continue to hold good into the work I'm exploring NOW - but/and I am definitely not a The Past Was Better POV apologist.]

I didn't see Top Gun: Maverick in cinemas in 2022 - unsurprising given that it took me years to stop living as though we were still in lockdown - but having seen it now a few times on the small screen, I endorse the view that this would be one of those things to SEE BIG.

It's also in keeping with my not having seen Top Gun on the big screen while S went one further, having not seen Top Gun at all until AFTER I got him to watch TG:M with me. TG:M makes several degrees less sense if you haven't seen the original but - can confirm - is still enjoyable and suspect meant he was sufficiently interested to watch through TG: the original. Which we of course did next.

S and I agreed that TG:M was the better movie - how often can a sequel say that? Esp a sequel which perhaps originally didn't need to exist and only exists because of the success of the first and the affection in which it is held. And clearly I'm far from the first person to say what a GOOD job they did of the remake-quel. A masterclass in understanding what was so loved about the original and echoing and elevating those elements, remade for the 21st century. New story but so closely patterning the original that they recast Rooster/Goose and Iceman/Hangman as precise look-alikes and repeatedly encouraged us to put key scenes from both alongside each other.

Oh, and the soundtrack of course - how could I forget?!

Actually, I guess I forgot because music is something I've related to LESS than most/many from my culture - although I'm not completely cut off from experiencing the effect of great music. I remembered that I'd forgotten, for example, because as I did the search on the two character montages, all I could hear in my head was -

Duh - da - da - daadaa - daadaa - duuuuuuuh (etc.)

Thank you to anyone who was able to reverse engineer that into the music that goes over the titles.

Never been big for music fandom, which is not a criticism or critique of people who love music, are dedicated fans, and feel that connection to a band or singer. I'm also resisting the urge to comment about sports fans who follow their teams around and identify deeply with them.

This desire for intimate connection with people/phenomena that can't love us back is - I imagine - profoundly human and I also absolutely experience it. Just that for me, it's been with characters from books, initially, and later, certain TV shows. Pretty sure that's how I was with Buffy's Scooby Gang (I of course identified with Willow/Tara) and with Firefly (less clear who I identified with here - oh, no, actually, it's very clear - repressed/big bro Simon).

And isn't it interesting how specific images reconnect to a feeling of belonging? I wonder whether seeing the specific book cover of a previously loved book has a similar effect for me to seeing photos from the town I grew up in, from the era I was living there?

Coming across precisely the correct version of the cover activates feelings of tenderness even towards books I might have liked very much at the time but didn't retain a memory of reading.

For instance - I went looking for the cover of Summer of my German Soldier by Bette Greene which I was obsessed by when I was 14 ish and having found it (and re-read the story summary and thought ERK, big bold themes for a YA book - not sure they'd risk it today), the author's bio reminded me of another book I must have read but had never really thought about since. Found the cover and YEP.
