The White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge has thanked “all the evil gays” for her Emmy Award win in a chaotic acceptance speech.

The 75th annual Emmy Awards are on in Los Angeles today, after a months-long delay due to the Hollywood strikes.

Actress Jennifer Coolidge won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her recurring role as Tanya McQuoid in the wild HBO series.

In her speech, Jen thanked The White Lotus creator Mike White for casting her.

“[Mike] says I’m definitely dead, so I’m going along with it,” she said.

Then joking about her biggest viral moment from season two, the actress added, “I want to thank all the evil gays.”

Unfortunately, the poor actress was heckled in a gag that fell flat, with Emmys host Anthony Anderson’s mother holding up a giant clock sign instead of the traditional awards show “playoff music”.

Jennifer Coolidge managed to tell the crowd, “I had a little dream in my little town, and everyone said it wasn’t practical and it was far-fetched.

“It did happen after all, so don’t give up on your dream.”

The White Lotus season three films soon

The White Lotus will return for season three, albeit without Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya McQuoid who didn’t survive the second season finale.

Production on season 3 of the HBO series is due to start in February 2024.

The new season will film in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, following a new group of guests and workers at another of The White Lotus chain of resorts.

Dillion is the vengix infiltration bot and he enjoys messsing with the green ranger most of all out of the whole team

Scott died honorably in the line of duty serving humanity or so they all thought

Marcus was chosen by Dr.K to be series operator Red

Marcus won’t admit it but fact that they removed the visor on the black helmet makes Tanya like 10x creepier even though it does protect her head better

Marcus is lowkey the entire team's older brother

Dillion isn’t really a fan of the fact the black ranger seems to know how to fight him at every turn

The more machine Tanya gets the more her eyes begin to work and this disorients her since she not used to being able to see and Dillion takes advantage in fights before she morphs

Ziggy has a weird thing for Dillion, not a crush per se but like a weird thing. Something about a man in a tight leather suit

Dillion does the low zipper thing that you see on female spies in movies where it shows off their chests a little but like it’s his pecks and odd wires sticking out. Like the worlds stupidest chest hair Summer once called it

Gem and Gemma have a competition to see who can yank one of those wires first

Dillion would like them to stop reaching for his chest

the second infiltration bot was smart and wore his cover all the time which sucked because of how difficult fighting a second one of them already was

of course this was before Marcus knocked his visor off to see his face, "Scott?" "who the hell is Scott?"

they now had to live with the fact that the second bot and possibly Dillon too were at one point human and that Scott doesn't remember being human

Marcus fights with his dad unendingly about the development about whether or not scott is still in there

eventually they make dillon bleed and he gets himself scanned and discovers tanya is his sister, then he forces scott to also get scanned proving to him that he's also human

they go to the rangers for answers and marcus tries to show scott picture to jog his memories to no success

dillon and tanya brood together and it's about as good as they get after Dillon comments on how tanya and summer were holding hands when he and scott came in

Dillon gets recaptured and reprogrammed while Dr.K makes Scott a Crimson suit to aid them as the 8th ranger of their team

Scott feels bad fighting dillon knowing they are so much the same but that doesn't stop him from fighting his hardest

Tanya peers intently at Noah. "I believe Noah came into the Sand Bar this week. I work there part time."

He nods "I did – we came for lunch."

"And didn't we see you at the bonfire the other night?" It was at the end of a long day, but Chelsea remembers it well.

"Yes! It was dark but I recognize you. We talked."

"Yes. Imagine if our paths kept crossing and we never found out we were related!" What a strange coincidence, Chelsea thinks.

"So, you're having a good time?"

"Yes, this is a perfect spot for spring break."

"Where are the kids?"

Chelsea laughs. "Back at the house. We didn't want to overwhelm you."

"Whelm me! Whelm me!" Tanya jokes. "I want to meet my cousins – tell me about them."

"We have my six youngest with us. Dee, Jackie, and Veronica are teens. Dee is the oldest. Then there are the twins, Bebe and Beatrix. We usually call her Trix. And the baby, Joey. Well, he's not a baby anymore."

Tanya looks dubious. "Your six youngest – how many do you have?"

"Twenty six."

"Wow!"

"Well, you know I come from a big family."

"Dad told me stories."

"And how about you?" Chelsea is used to this kind of reaction but she's glad to give up the spotlight.

"I have two, but they're mostly out of the house. My daughter is at Foxbury so she's home occasionally. My son is in Mt. Komorebi with his father. We're divorced. Otherwise, it's just me and Georgie."

"He's a beautiful dog," Noah puts in.

"She looks fierce – that's kind of nice to have, living out here at the end of a sandbar on my own, but she's really a cupcake. We always had dogs growing up. Dad loved them."

"I heard the first thing he and Truman did after moving out was to get a dog, a little yellow dog called Cashew or Peanut or something like that. They would bring him to visit. We never had any pets. I think they were just too much for my mom to take care of."

"Cashew! There's a picture of him in the house. Uncle Tru wouldn't speak to Dad for years because he brought the dog with him when he moved. Tru thought it was his dog but that's the way he was. Tell me about them – what do you know?"

"Mom ADORED your dad."

"He always talked about her to us."

"I honestly think he was her favorite. She always brightened up when he was around. Your dad and Truman were quite a bit older than me. They were already out of the house when I was born, but they were always there for family parties before our mother died. *sigh* I remember, your dad offered to take me in after she was gone – wouldn't that have been something?!"

"What did you do?" Tanya asks, worry in her voice.

"We stayed in the house. All the sibs would come home to help. At some point, our older brother became our legal guardian. After I became a young adult, he moved to Mt. Komorebi though his twin lived near us for a long time." Chelsea turns to Noah who has been quietly listening. "Noah, I don't know if you ever met Kestrel?"

"I don't think so."

She laughs. "Yes, she washed her hands of me when I moved to Oasis Springs, but she did get the family home because of it." Chelsea turns back to Tanya. "If you ever get to Brindleton Bay, you should stop by and see it. My daughter May lives there now – she'd love to meet you."

"I will!" Tanya promises. "Hey, let's go sit on the deck. I'd love to show you the view."

They follow the porch which wraps around the house.

"This is truly paradise," Chelsea says quietly. "Did you live here with your dad?"

"No, I bought this place after my divorce. We moved around quite a bit with Dad." They all sit and Tanya shares her story. " We lived on various islands and even in Ohan'ali Town for a bit, but when I was little, we lived on a houseboat."

"What an adventure! Do you have siblings?"

"One brother. He runs a resort on the big island."

"And what about your mother?"

"She's from an old Sulani family. They met when Dad was on vacation here. She traveled for business and she visited him a lot until she won him over, though he thought he was winning her over."

They laugh. Georgie notices and comes to see what the sims are up to. Noah excuses himself to visit with her.

"Mom was a Hoapili, distantly related to the old chieftain," Tanya continues. "I think you're staying in the old chieftain's house."

"What happened to the old chieftain?"

Tanya smiles. "Oh, she's in a new house out around Mua Pel'am, don't worry!"

"Oh, alright then."

"We should probably get going," Noah says. "We have plans in the afternoon."

They walk back to the front of the house together and hug at the gate.

"Let's try to get together again before we go," Chelsea says. "You can meet the kids, maybe a couple at a time."

Tanya laughs. "I'll stop by the house when I'm in Ohan'ali Town if I can. Otherwise, bring them out to swim again.

"That sounds lovely!"

Kereta Sore Itu (Sebuah Cerpen)

Terkadang aku bingung dengan situasi sekarang saat ini. Aku seperti seorang diri melalui hiruk pikuk kota yang selalu terlihat ramai. Kota ini ramai tapi tidak dengan diri ini. Sepertinya, aku terus menjalani hari yang tak pernah berhenti. Selalu berputar, selalu rotasi. Bumi rotasi kehidupan pun ikut berputar di dalamnya. Tapi tidak denganku. Kehidupan di sekelilingku mungkin berputar, tapi aku tidak ikut berputar di dalamnya. Seperti lantangnya John Lennon bernyanyi pada lagu yang ia ciptakan untuk putranya.

“I’m just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round…” aku bernyanyi kecil seraya berpikir. Terkadang, menyiksa hanya dapat menyaksikan tanpa dapat merasakan. Mungkin itu sebabnya manusia begitu mencintai perasaan. Panca indera saja tidak cukup untuk membuat mereka “menjadi manusia”.

“Yang membuat kita berbeda dari hewan dan mahluk lainnya adalah manusia memiliki perasaan. Rasa itulah yang menumbuhkan empati kemanusiaan. Membawa persatuan bagi seluruh umat manusia.” lantang suara politisi senior di pikiranku. Orang – orang bicara seolah – olah tahu ada di mana letak perasaan berada. Perasaan, kemanusiaan, aku sering mendengar hal – hal tersebut di podium – podium. Lewat pengeras suara, mereka membakar semangat massa. Aku yakin, massa tidak mengerti apa yang dibicarkan. Aku pun tidak mengerti. Mereka yang di atas podium, selalu sulit untuk dimengerti atau tidak bisa dimengerti. Kenapa? Karena mereka bicara atas namanya sendiri dan bukan atas nama semua orang.

Menurutku, kemanusiaan justru lahir dari ketakutan manusia dalam menjalani kehidupan. Dengan bersama manusia lain, mereka tidak akan merasa sendirian. Dan itu yang membuat kemanusiaan yang baru lahir sekitar abad 19 itu kini menjadi primadona. 8 miliar manusia dan kesepian kini adalah salah satu penderitaan yang diderita oleh sebagian manusia. Bahkan kini di Inggris, terdapat kementrian urusan kesepian. Entah jumlah manusia yang kurang banyak atau semakin banyak manusia yang memilih untuk hidup sendirian.

“Only Solution..” tiba – tiba terdengar suara seorang gadis yang membuyarkan lamunanku. Ia terlihat tersenyum ke arahku. Aku baru sadar jika aku bernyanyi terlalu keras hingga orang – orang di sekitarku dapat mendengar aku bernyanyi. Aku hanya dapat balik tersenyum seraya memalingkan lagi wajahku ke arah jendela. Aku sedikit malu saat ini.

Sesekali aku melirik gadis itu. Ia terlihat seperti anak sekolah. Rambutnya hitam dengan sedikit warna coklat di ujung rambutnya. Ia memakai jaket berwarna merah muda dengan garis bordir berwarna hitam. Kacamatanya tebal memandang serius buku yang ada di depan wajahnya. Tangan satunya cekatan memegang besi yang ada di atas kepala dengan tubuhnya bersandar ke badan kereta.

“Kenapa mas?” Tanya gadis itu membuatku jadi salah tingkah. Salahku juga memandang seseorang yang tidak kukenal dari jarak dekat. Belum lagi ia gadis, terlihat cantik pula, sudah pasti aku diteriaki karena dugaan melakukan sexual harassment.

“Nggak mba, mirip temen saya.” jawabku sekenanya canggung. Aku kembali menikmati perjalanan ini. Suasana semakin ramai karena penumpang baru masuk ke dalam gerbong dan menghimpit penumpang. Aku dan gadis tadi kini jadi saling berhimpitan dengan lenganku mengenai buku yang dibacanya.

“Baca buku apa mba?” tanyaku basa basi karena daritadi lenganku terus mengenai buku yang ia baca.

“Oh ini. Saya pura – pura baca aja kok mas. Biar kelihatan ada aktifitas.” jawabnya dengan senyum kecil di wajahnya. Aku bingung.

“Kenapa harus pura – pura baca?” tanyaku lagi karena masih ada yang mengganjal.

“Ya supaya kelihatan ada aktifitas.” jawabnya lagi. Aku mengerutkan dahi. Aku seperti sedang bicara dengan NPC game saat ini. Apa mungkin iya ya? Hidup ini adalah simulasi belaka? Seperti film The Truman Show? Tapi…. Apa iya orang sepertiku adalah tokoh utama…

“Maksudnya, karena aku males aja diajak ngobrol sama orang, jadi aku pura – pura baca buku. Biar ada aktifitas jadinya orang ga ngajak ngobrol.” selorohnya lagi seraya menutup buku dan memasukkan ke dalam tas. Aku menelas ludah sedikit. Jadi benar aku ini bukan tokoh utama…

“Tapi karena mas ngajak ngobrol, ya udah kita ngobrol aja mas.” katanya lagi seraya memalingkan wajahnya ke arahku.

“Jadi gitu toh, aku jadi gaenak ternyata ganggu.” jawabku lirih menyesal.

“Gapapa mas. Lagian, kayaknya mas lagi butuh temen ngobrol sih.” katanya seraya memandang airpods yang kukenakan. Aku sadar kita jadi menjalin hubungan karena tadi bernyanyi terlalu keras.

“Ya begitu deh tadi mba. Selalu ada pertanyaan yang belum selesai setiap hari. Setiap bangun tidur, pasti ada pertanyaan di hari kemarin yang belum selesai di hari ini. Nah, pertanyaan di hari ini belum selesai lagi di hari esok.” aku menjelaskan panjang lebar. Persetan dia anak sekolah dan orang tidak kukenal. Aku hanya ingin mengeluarkan isi hati.

“Memang pertanyaannya apa?” tanyanya lagi.

“Aku gabisa memberitahu mba. Tapi mba pasti punya kan pertanyaan – pertanyaan yang setiap hari selalu ganggu tidur, bangun. Membuat hidup kerasa penuh beban.”

Gadis itu memandang ke langit tanda ia berpikir. Ia kemudian menggeleng kepalanya.

“Gaada? Kenapa gaada?” tanyaku penasaran.

“Karena pertanyaan ada untuk ditanyakan, bukan dipikirkan, apalagi dirasakan.” jawabnya cepat. Aku diam sejenak seraya memfokuskan pandanganku ke gadis tersebut.

“Kalau aku punya pertanyaan, pasti aku langsung tanya. Makanya tadi aku tanya, apa pertanyaannya?” jelas gadis itu.

“Masalah manusia itu selalu memendam tanya mereka. Karena….” mulutnya tampak berhenti.

“Apa?” tanyaku penasaran.

“Karena mereka selalu berharap ada jawaban saat itu juga.” jawabnya seraya tersenyum.

“Padahal, ga semua hal harus ada jawabannya sekarang.” tambahnya lagi seraya melihat keluar jendela. Sudah sampai di bilangan fatmawati saat ini.

“Bahkan terkadang, pertanyaan itu adalah jawaban atas pertanyaan itu sendiri.” pungkasnya.

Aku diam dan ikut melihat keluar jendela. Aku jadi memikirkan ada yang salah dengan pikiranku selama ini. Bukan, cara berpikirku selama ini. Tapi dan kenapa? Aku terus fokus dan mengerutkan dahiku untuk berpikir.

“Pasti mas punya pertanyaan sekarang.” seloroh gadis itu memandangku.

“Kok tahu?” tanyaku penasaran.

“Karena orang dewasa pasti mengerutkan dahi jika sedang berpikir.” jawabnya. Aku jadi makin penasaran dengan gadis SMA di depanku ini. Ia benar – benar menarik perhatianku.

“Kalau ada pertanyaan, Tanya aja! Kan aku sudah bilang tadi.” tambahnya.

“Sulit mba! Aku kalau punya pertanyaan cenderung ku simpan sendirian. Mengubah sesuatu dalam waktu singkat itu sulit.” tandasku.

“Itusih karena kalian orang dewasa, sudah semakin tua.” ujarnya. Aku masih menantikan lanjutannya.

“Semakin dewasa seseorang, semakin ia serupa dengan bumi yang tua ini. Dan itu yang membuat orang dewasa semakin jarang untuk bertanya.” katanya lagi.

“Kenapa?”

“Rasa penasaran mereka sudah berkurang! Mereka bertanya hanya untuk mendapat jawaban. Berbeda dengan anak kecil yang bertanya karena ia penasaran.” jawab gadis itu dengan jelas. Aku semakin penasaran dengan siapa aku bicara saat ini. Gadis ini membuatku terpana sejauh ini.

“Wow… Buat anak sekolah, kamu pintar banget..” pujiku dengan suara terbata. Ia hanya tersenyum seraya memegang erat tas di bahu sebelah kanannya. Pemberhentian berikutnya adalah stasiun Cipete Raya, mungkin ia akan turun di sana.

“Siapa bilang aku anak sekolah?” jawabnya.

“Kok gitu? Kan kamu pakai seragam sekolah.” selorohku langsung.

“Pakai seragam sekolah tidak menjadikanku anak sekolah. Pun dengan masnya yang mengenakan seragam kantoran tidak menjadikan masnya pekerja kantoran.” katanya melihat jalanan yang macet di kejauhan.

“Pun dengan ojek online di sana. Memakai sesuatu tidak menjadikanmu sesuatu tersebut.” tambahnya yang membuatku mengerutkan dahi, orang dewasa.

“Terus? Yang membuat kita menjadi sesuatu itu apa?” tanyaku penasaran. Gadis itu bersiap untuk turun bersama keramaian orang.

Gadis itu cuma tersenyum lalu ikut bersama dengan keramaian orang tersebut. Ia tidak menjawab pertanyaan terakhirku tadi. Aku hanya memandangnya berjalan menuju elevator dengan jaket merah mudanya. Sampai kereta berjalan lagi, ia tidak sedikit pun memandang ke arah kereta, padahal aku terus memandangnya daritadi.

“Yang tadi itu apa….” aku bicara kecil sambil terus memandang ke arah stasiun biarpun kereta sudah berlalu.

Aku tidak tahu namanya, pun aku tidak tahu apa ia benar anak sekolah atau tidak. Aku tidak tahu apa pun tentangnya dan ia sudah memberiku berbagai macam pertanyaan untuk diselesaikan. Gadis itu benar – benar mengganggu pikiranku saat ini. Aku duduk di kursi yang baru saja ditinggalkan penggunanya turun. Aku jadi terus berpikir.

Mungkin itu alasan kenapa gadis itu tidak mau bicara dengan orang lain? Bahwa setiap ia bicara dengan orang lain, ia akan meninggalkan pertanyaan untuk dicari jawabannya? Atau mungkin, itu alasan kenapa Inggris membuat kementrian urusan kesepian. Orang jadi takut untuk bicara dengan orang lain karena takut untuk mengetahui sesuatu yang baru dan lain dari kehidupan ini. Makanya 8 miliar manusia pun tiada artinya lagi.

Sambil terus berpikir aku turun perlahan dari kereta dengan perasaan tidak menentu. Seperti ada yang belum selesai dan memang belum selesai. Siapa gadis itu? Ada apa dengan gadis itu? Yang membuat kita jadi sesuatu itu apa? Sial! Kenapa sekarang justru semakin banyak pertanyaan yang aku pikirkan!

“Padahal, ga semua hal harus ada jawabannya sekarang.” tiba – tiba saja bayangkan wajah gadis itu muncul di kepalaku. Aku terdiam kemudian melanjutkan langkah kakiku. Aku tersenyum kecil seraya terus melangkahkan kakiku keluar stasiun. Aku jadi ingat dengan gadis itu. Aku sungguh, sungguh, sungguh berharap dapat bertemu lagi dengannya di waktu yang akan datang. Bayangan kata – katanya lewat di hadapanku..

“Bahkan terkadang, pertanyaan itu adalah jawaban atas pertanyaan itu sendiri…..”

Day 4: ten interesting facts about you

1. Bisa main 4 alat musik

Instrumen pertamaku piano, les dari kelas 1 SD sampai 3 SMA berhenti waktu mau UN. Kelas 2 SD les biola, terus lanjut lagi pas SMP. Kelas 3 SMP les klarinet di Indra, dan jadi instrumen yang aku mainkan kalau ikutan konser ISO. Karena waktu itu jarang yang main klarinet jadi aku bisa langsung masuk wind section tanpa seleksi seperti para violinis. Xixi. Instrumen keempat adalah ukulele tenor yang kubeli di Sukowati, tapi abis itu patah karena didudukin Arka jadi beli lagi pas ke Beringharjo. Awalnya mau beli saksofon di MG Studio pas lagi diskon tapi karena abis jadi beli klarinet aja deh biar agak antimainstream. Klarinet itu menarik karena kalau tone hole-nya ditutup, dia cuma naik 5 not instead of what might be more commonsensical 7 not sekalian. Alat musik yang menjadi bekal manggung-manggung pas jaman SMA dan kuliah. Semangat banget main alat musik karena jaman SMP dulu nonton Nodame Cantabile terus jadi pengen bisa semuanya. Karena nonton Nodame pula, aku jadi main Fantaisie Impromptu dan Piano Sonata in A minor, D. 845-nya Schubert. Dan jadi suka banget sama Mazeppa-nya Liszt walau main 8 bar pertamanya aja aku gak sanggup.

2. ½ Sunda, ¼ Jawa, ¼ Sumatra

Dari kelas 1 SD sampai umur 24 tahun tinggal di Bandung terus, jadi kalau ada orang tanya aku orang mana/apa, aku bakal jawab orang Bandung. Tiap tahun mudik ke Yogyakarta untuk ngumpul sama keluarga Bapak. Dan walau ¼ Palembang, baru pernah ke Palembang sekali doang di tahun-tahun pertama S1. Enak banget semua makanannya, sungguh pengalaman kuliner yang berkesan. Pempek, model, pindang, mie celor. Teringat panasnya jalan-jalan di atas Jembatan Ampera habis nengok rumah Bapak dulu di Kuto Besak. Dan pertama kalinya ketemu sodara-sodara Akung yang tinggal di Kerinjing. Bakar kemplang di halaman lanjut makan besar. Mau ke Palembang lagi.

3. Sebenarnya mau jadi arsitek

Karena suka gambar rumah, suka liat gedung-gedung, dan mau desain rumah sendiri. Tahun 2012 udah diterima Arsi Unpar sih tapi karena SNMPTN dapet FTI ITB jadi bye masa depan sebagai arsitek. Tapi setelah dipikir-pikir memang aku nggak akan kuat sih kalau harus begadang dan kerja keras kayak anak Arsi. Waktu itu nanya sama Wida kenapa sih mereka kerja terus gak berhenti? Terus kata dia: “Karena desain, jadi selalu bisa dibagusin lagi.” Belum lagi harus berurusan dengan perbedaan selera orang dan ego sendiri. Kalau engineering kan bisa dioptimasi dan yaudah, berhenti di situ.

4. Gak suka duren

Gak suka duren dan segala turunannya: dodol, pancake duren, es duren, apapun. Karena bau dan lembek. Buah itu harusnya menyegarkan, bukannya bikin hipertensi.

5. Gak ngikutin Marvel dan superhero movie lainnya

Gak akan inisiatif nonton film-film tersebut di bioskop kecuali diajak sama orang. Lebih suka nonton coming of age movie, romcom, dramedy, Disney movies, atau cult movies sekalian. Suka banget Nemo Nobody. Atau Truman Show. Silver Linings Playbook. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Jaman kuliah dulu kerjanya nyariin film di IMDb. Aku suka film-film yang bikin berpikir dan merasakan. Atau film setan sekalian, deh. Dan film-film Indonesia.

6. Takut ke dokter mata

Pertama kali pake kacamata kelas 1 SD dan tiap tahun cek mata, selalu naik 1. Tiap di dokter mata ngeliatin papan huruf dengan mata berkaca-kaca dan perasaan takut. Apakah waktu umur 20 minusku bakal jadi 14??? Untungnya berhenti di 8, yang sebenernya juga udah gede banget sih. Sampai sekarang masih kayak gitu perasaannya, bahkan waktu cek mata di optik pinggir jalan ABC sekalipun. Liat koper lensa, kursi, dan proyektor huruf aja bikin deg-degan setengah mati. Cukup traumatis.

7. Takut baca Goosebumps

Hum, bukan takut juga sih. Lebih ke gak nyaman. Menurutku ini buku paling seram yang bisa dibaca anak kecil. Baca Goosebumps deg-degannya kayak lagi tes mata (buatku). Aku gak suka banget plot-plot dimana tokohnya kelempar ke dimensi lain dan gak bisa balik lagi. Atau mengalami perubahan-perubahan yang nggak bisa dikembalikan, kayak jadi ½ kucing dan suka makan daging mentah. Argh. Goosebumps juga yang bikin takut sama boneka Ventriloquist, dan itu yang bikin aku gak terlalu suka nonton Toys Story 4 karena ada Bensen-Bensen yang mengerikan. Plot dimensi lain itu juga yang bikin aku gak suka endingnya Silent Hill dan deg-degan parah waktu Aomame di 1Q84 mau masuk portal dan kembali ke dimensi asli. Masa kecil tricky banget ya, hal-hal sepele bisa bikin PTSD.

8. Dengerin musik di YouTube

Yes. Aku gak pakai Spotify on a daily basis. YouTube + AdBlocker and I’m good to go. Kalau di technology adoption curve, aku pasti adalah late majority atau bahkan laggards. Kenapa aku harus pake sesuatu yang baru kalau yang lama aja masih oke dan berfungsi? Waktu itu ditanya Bang Songko kenapa aku gak pake ApplePay terus jawabku adalah: “Kenapa aku harus pake itu??” My debit card is completely fine, and I don’t have to charge it. Malas meninggalkan zona nyaman.

9. Pas SMP dapet duit dari ikut spelling bee

Lumayan banget dapet 300 ribu kalau menang, dan dulu entah kenapa banyak banget lomba Bahasa Inggris. Biasanya di sekolah-sekolah Kristen gitu sih, Santa Maria, Santa Ursula, Maranatha, terus sempet ikut yang di Temasek dan EF Spelling Bee juga walaupun Cuma nyampe level Bandung doang. Karena waktu itu ikut lomba terus sempet jadi ranking 20 dari 27 siswa. Tapi pas kenaikan kelas jadi 3 besar lagi sih.

10. Pernah melihara berbagai macam binatang

Waktu di Jakarta dulu punya 2 kucing walaupun Mama takut bin benci banget sama kucing. Pas di Bandung punya anjing sering banget, berganti-ganti. Punya 2 anjing waktu masih tinggal di Cigadung. Juga marmut dan angsa. Terus punya 1 anjing lagi. Terus nambah jadi 3. Terus melihara hamster, dari 3 jadi 7 dan nambah terus. Abis itu dikasihin aja ke orang lain. Kalau sekarang mau punya binatang peliharaan pikir-pikir lagi sih, kasihan juga mereka kalau nggak bisa komit. Tapi pengen banget punya corgi.
