Guys just imagine it…

Tamlin has a mate & his mate also has a visible mate mark on her hand & arm but unlike Feyre’s ugly thing Tamlin’s mates mate mark is glowing gold, with forest greens & rose reds & it’s absolutely beautiful, vines/swirls in the gold & green that look as if they’re wrapping around her arm & fingers, different flowers that bloom off the vines that represent the spring court & at the centre of her palm is a large bloomed flower that Tamlin tells his mate reminds him of her & inside that flower is Tamlins fiddle, a music note & a line from a poem he made for her…🥹

On the upside of her hand in the center are the white stag antlers that he has to hunt every Calanmai, a crown that’s wreathed in flowers but also on fire…like the one that symbolises Aelin

Ps in my head canon Tamlin’s mate is a black/brown woman that is older than him so imagine that mark on her beautiful brown skin😩😍

You know now that I’ve just described I really want to get this tattooed on me😩🤍

Potential Tamlin Mates: (not briar)

@thefatesofspring made a great suggestion when it came to Tamlins mate not being Briar and i totally agree. She could be someone older, with raw pure magic, and hopefully ANOTHER SPECIES of fea. Kinda over the humanoid looking ones. She could have horns, wings (something other than bat or angel, kinda tired of that) a true fairy 🧚 feature. Heck a tail would be nice. And honestly a little diversity too. ( I know some authors like to stay away from other characters because they can’t describe them or their “sexy time” but it just shouldn’t be that hard 😂 you know what we aren’t being picky here. She can be as black as night or have blue skin, green skin… red skin… that would even be perfect but fae at her true core. Below are some examples. Let me know your picks I’d love an imput. Also please I just randomly selected of the internet no ai brigades please it’s an idea I’m throwing out there.

Tamlin: *is personally targeted by Amarantha to be her lover, denies her advances & gets cursed, spends the next 50 years sending his sentries out to ultimately die (something he feels extreme guilt for and tries to stop), actively takes in refugees from other courts, spends a majority of his time hunting down Amarantha’s monsters from his lands so they can’t harm his people, gets a human woman to fall in love with him but sends her away so she won’t be in danger, goes UTM, basically becomes Amarantha’s lap dog, somehow holds all of his emotions back because ANY sign of ANY emotion would get Feyre killed (did I mention how down-bad Amarantha is for Tamlin? Yeah.)(Also, Rhysand somehow finds it suitable to parade Feyre around like his own personal whore because…he wanted to rile Tamlin up? Which would have lead to Feyre’s death…🤔), ends up killing Amarantha*

jesus man, I know you hate him but give roses where roses are due. Tamlin did A LOT, but I guess doing Amarantha’s personal tasks (like killing children) is the only thing that holds any merit to the High Lord of the Night Court 🫤

I saw this Tik Tok talking about Feyre and Tamlin's love story/beauty and the beast and it was a good one.

As everyone knows, the first love story is based on beauty and the beast; Feyre being Belle (hg can't read so I don't know why she's Belle) and Tamlin being the beast.

The og creator said that Feyre is actually the enchantress, the woman who cursed the beast (she "cursed" Tamlin by ruining his court which is one of the reasons why he's in his beast form).

Meaning that Tamlin is still waiting for his "Belle". (Gave me more hope that he'll get his healing arc)

Thoughts on it?

Love him or hate him at least Tamlin apologized, admitted what he did wrong, and tried to change for the better. His actions were to save his people and the one he loved. Tamlin also didn’t need to save Rhysand and Feyre but he did because despite everything they did he wanted her to be happy.

Tamlin is many things but a villain isn’t one of them.

Unpopular Acotar opinion:

Tamlin doesn’t need a redemption arc - he needs a healing arc.

I think he has earned his redemption (or at least part of it) through his actions in ACOWAR:

- Exposing his cover in Hyberns camp to help Feyre escape

- Coming with what little army/support he had left to help during the war (even after Feyre destroyed his Court and left them defenceless)

- “Be happy, Feyre” ???

He saved Rhysands life!!! He did not have to do that. If he were a true villain, he would have let Rhys die, would have wanted Feyre to suffer.

Yes, he has a LONG way to go but if (hopeful when) we get some kind of Tamlin book I hope that man finds peace, I hope he heals. I want him to find happiness.

Tamlin x Reader, Tamlin x You

This ones a little odd, but I hope you enjoy it.💚

You sat in your normal spot at the large dining table in the Spring Court Manor and began fixing your plate and Tamlins for breakfast. Steaming trays of eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns, accompanied with a beautifully arranged fruit platter, sat before you. Lucien entered the dining hall, dressed impeccably and ready to start the day. He took his seat in front of you while Tamlins seat remained empty. "Good morning, is Tam on his way?" Lucien asked, as he began fixing his own plate.

"He's sitting behind me." You answer without looking up, piling more meat than usual onto Tamlins plate. Lucien gives you a confused look as he stretches to look behind you. Sure enough, there is Tamlin, in his beast form, laying at your feet, waiting patiently for his plate.

"What?" Lucien asks, one eyebrow raised, a small laugh escaped as he processes the absurdity of the situation.

"He doesn't want to be a Fae today, so I am taking over for him." You answer as if this is as normal as anything, while reaching down to set Tamlins plate in front of him. Tamlin lets out a small growl. "No. Fae Tamlin eats at the table, Beast Tamlin eats on the floor. You can't have it both ways." You scold him gently and pat his head. Tamlin let's out a grumble but then proceeds to eat politely.

"I have no idea what's going on." Lucien admits, hoping you will explain further. You take a bite of your own food before answering.

"He's been through a lot, you all have. If this is what he needs to heal, so be it," you shrug, one hand resting on Tamlin's head, scratching him softly.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want Lucien & or Elain anywhere near The Spring Court to help rebuild it??

Like I want Tamlin to do it, to do it with the help of his people & potentially even his mate, I want him to find the strength no matter how small that piece of strength maybe but to use that & ground himself, to help him focus on something & as he’s rebuilding & reconnecting with his people he starts working on other aspects of himself…I want him to do this on his own with no Lucien or Elain involved.

Like honestly I don’t even want Tamlin to reconnect with Lucien on a similar level they used to be on, like sure be cordial but go their separate ways & Tamlin find new friends among his people & just focus on himself, his court/people & potentially his mate.

In my head the friendship between Lucien & Tamlin is done, there’s too much betrayal & distrust there now & even though in canon Lucien is back in Spring at the end of SF, when Tamlin comes round to himself I’d honestly just want him to tell Lucien to leave.

Is that mean??😩😭 I feel like it is but at the same time I feel like the hurt, distrust & betrayal is just too deep to come back from on both ends.

Set twelve years after the events of HOFAS (bare knowledge necessary), and nearly three after the end of Koschei’s War, Prythian has entered an era of peace unseen since the days of King Fionn himself.

To an outsider, anyway. The reality isn’t as pretty.

The Seasonal Courts have finally found a balance in their coexistence. Autumn finds itself in an era of prosperity and growth under its newly crowned High Lord. Summer staggered at first, but with the finalization of its codified equality laws and a first successful season of its Council of Voices, High Lord Tarquin’s dreams are soon to be a reality. Winter has welcomed a new heir—a son, to join their growing family.

Spring has been revitalized, nearly comparable in splendor to how it was in the years before Amarantha. Cities have been rebuilt, and more and more of Spring citizens have returned from their refuge. Century-long alliances respected; a family reunited at last. And soon, its citizen will celebrate in the most grand celebration: the upcoming nuptials between their beloved High Lord and High Lady.

The Solar Courts, however, have increasingly found themselves in disarray. Though Day prospers as it always has, High Lord Helion finds himself heartbroken over the discovery and subsequent rejection of his only son, who has returned to Spring. Dawn stands strong in its neutrality, but chaotic forces from the north seek to destabilize their hard-earned peace.

A rebellion has formed in the far north. Citizens have fled in dead night, with no traces to be found. Dead, maimed males found scattered over the Illyrian Steppes. Natural disasters ravage the western bank of Night. The Night Court stands alone, its Inner Circle fractured beyond repair as sides are drawn, and mating bonds break. The newly risen Dusk Court has returned to stake its claim on what is rightfully theirs.

The agreed biennial High Lords meeting is soon upon them. A recon mission gone wrong has resulted in multiple hostages in the hands of Night’s sworn enemy. Grudges will be settled; recompense will be delivered. For the High Lady of Spring is out for blood.
