Tamara Dean's The Suspended Moment (2022)
From her instagram:
"'The Suspended Moment' 2022
Leaning into the still life genre and inspired by the Dutch master oil painters I created a series of still-life vignettes in my underwater studio.
My execution contradicts the idea of the 'still life' by animating the scene, encouraging some of my objects to take flight so as to appear to defy the rules of gravity.
Shot on my Fujifilm GFX100S + the new GF20-35mmF4 lens.

Finding pleasure and relief in the simple act of being in a garden and immersing myself in the scents, textures and dusky late light has been my way of finding my peace.

The figure you see moving through the landscape in these works is not just me but the woman I would like to be. She who can fly through the air, tumble through the treetops, climb trees and clap clouds of thunder
"Losing myself"
The garden is the place I go to lose myself and find relief from the challenging experience of living with a pandemic, and the extreme weather events we are experiencing with the climate crisis

UK Tour Cast Update
Some clarifying details on the new UK Tour cast!
As many of you may have noticed, Tamara Morgan (2023-24 UK Tour Alternate S/P) hasn't made her debut yet. According to many fans at the stage door, she is currently recovering from a knee injury and is waiting for the OK from her doctor before performing - so everything seems to be okay with her and we'll hopefully get to see her soon!
Natalie Pilkington (2022-23 UK Tour Alternate S/P) has since stepped in as Alternate S/P (as well as a swing for her other covers) while Tamara recovers. Izi Maxwell (2023-24 UK Tour Alternate B/H) has also recently learned Seymour, so there's a potential we could see her as Seymour soon! I'm also assuming Shakira Simpson (2023-24 UK Tour Swing) is also learning S/P, but I haven't heard anything specific.
Harriet Caplan-Dean (2022-23 UK Tour Swing) is still with the cast, acting as an standby/"emergency cover". Not sure as to why she hasn't performed and Natalie has, since it kinda defeats the purpose, but it seems to be they're saving her as a backup while treating Natalie as a temporary replacement S/P instead.

utterly cannot stand the type of post thats like "what are the female characters you like" and i KNOW it's not the fault of the people who make those posts i know they only do it because 95% of this site's blorbos are men. but i hate it anyway. like really the only way you can get fandom people to talk about women is to explicitly tell them to talk about women. and it always comes off so disingenuous because i KNOW most people reblogging those posts would never say those characters on a generic "what are your favorite characters" post. like it's all just so bleak :/
