You know I feel most of Sasuke shippers tend to hate Itachi a lot. They think whoever they ship him with is a better for Sasuke. I'm a sns stan myself but most sns stans hate Itachi, it also the same thing with ss stans.

It's not Sasuke shippers, it's his fans in general that hate Itachi. My interaction with SNS fans hasn't been negative (so far) so can't say, but I agree with you on SSers. You're right that they view Itachi as some kind of a competition for their respective ships because there's always a desperate attempt to magnify his flaws and deny/ignore the rest of the context because it challenges their notion of him being irredeemable.

A longish rant ahead. Haters are free to not interact. SSers too.

Majority of Sasuke fans hate Itachi. Some hardliners hate nearly everyone that isn't Sasuke. The only ones exempted from their hate are Mikoto, Team Taka, Fugaku (sometimes), and Obito and Madara (for some reasons - idk why). Itachi, Kakashi, Naruto are the worst people to be around him with no redeeming qualities who existed to make his life worse, instead of, you know, responding to their own traumas much like Sasuke did.

Some "generous" ones even though hate him/don't like him, aren't that extreme as the first ones, but there's also a weird kind of aggressiveness to them that's similar to the former ones. They may or may not ship Sasuke with others but the hate for Itachi is certainly constant.

None of them view Itachi as a human. Largely, the audience's perspective on Itachi relies heavily upon how Sasuke sees him. He doesn't see Itachi as someone breakable. The one memory of Itachi crying he assumed was his imagination. Even after learning the truth there's no memory of Sasuke recalling Itachi's vulnerability even though there would have been plenty of moments where he broke down. Just not in front of Sasuke or anyone else.

It doesn't mean Itachi was all what canon shows him to be. It's entirely the third person perspective without getting into Itachi's head that we see. Maybe more people would see him differently if we got more of him? Because a lot of fans too reduce him to just a powerhouse that's capable of taking down all the enemies singlehandedly. He's capable of being both vulnerable and strong. Those aren't mutually exclusive.

Coming to the shippers, I have a special beef with SSers because I've seen too many of them who claim to "love" Itachi, but the first moment they need to defend her or the ship, the first person they choose to shit on is Itachi. I don't dislike her, but imagine hating on Itachi to defend her? The only hate/criticism about her that I disagree with is Naruto fans hating on her for not choosing him. The rest is spot on.

SSers want Itachi to be "punished" and enumerate all the things he didn't deserve forgiveness for. And how S*kura would never put Sasuke through what Itachi did. I mean, that is a fair point, but how much more do you want Itachi to be punished more than he already was?

Living his entire life in exile, being hated by Sasuke despite loving him so much, a terminal illness, the guilt of all things, and eventual death, with zero chance at life. What kind of sadism it is where you think he deserves more punishment than this?

If it's not enough, Boruto seems to be more about SS than Boruto himself. There's just too much content on SS (or is it just my Twitter feed being stuffed with it? Idk) where they're the main focus, where Sasuke loves his family and all that. And where is Itachi in all this? How many times does Sasuke think about Itachi, if at all? Some anime scenes have them, yeah, but I'm assuming they're fillers.

I'll never, ever begrudge Sasuke for moving past Itachi and his memories, but it is heartbreaking that his memories have been abandoned in favour of someone Sasuke didn't even love and a family he didn't ever want.

He deserved better than this. And if Sasuke ever dies, there's literally no one that would remember Itachi. Unless of course they bring in a twist or something for the next gen. But I hope not.

Congratulations, shippers, you won. *claps*

It may or may not be the same for SNS fans, but if there's a lot of hate in that circle too, they can also rejoice for the same reason. Itachi doesn't exist anymore. It's been almost 20 years since his death in canon. The people Sasuke has been around are those he's shipped with. So, it's a win for both?

She went to live with her dad when she was little but the deduction talent runs through her blood, she is type of player that counts card and doesn't get caught.

Eventually reconnected with her grandfather and flips her dad off a lot.

Case 3 was not for the money, it was a revenge thingy.

Makoto Naegi - Ultimate Biker Gang Leader

Still a sweethear! Just a good boy that could kick you in your knees and send you to the hospital

Started the gang more of a personal thing but then it got out of control and he doesn't know what will happen if he decides to leave (Especially since the Crazy Diamonds guys left so some of the members moved to his gang).

Sister is his second in command

Expected to get caught in Trial 2, then the whole meddling with the crime scene happened and he doesn't know how to feel about it.

"I agree, those people don't deserve death. That's why we're trying out the program," he said, giving your hand a gentle squeeze. "It's gonna work Y/N, I promise."

With his other hand, Makoto gently cupped your cheek, leaning in, he placed his lips on yours. His lips were soft, and they tasted like vanilla bean. He squeezed your hand as he continued to kiss you. You had been waiting for this moment for so long, since the middle of the Killing Game. But he was always either with Sayaka or Kyoko then, so you didn't really have the chance to build this kind of relationship. You wanted to make up for lost time as much as you could.

You pulled away from each other, slightly out of breath, but the both of you smiling.

"You're so handsome," he whispered, kissing your cheek. "I suggest you lay down, the meeting's gonna be a long one."

When his bro Taka got killed, he was pissed

Especially in the manner he was killed in

He was glad you were still with him though

But he was hellbent on finding out who killed his bro

You helped him look for clues and you were by his side when you all came together for the trial

The trial was painfully long, but later into it, the evidence was starting to point to you

Mondo was even more pissed

No way could you be the killer!

"You're fucking delusional! (Name) would never kill my bro! Check your evidence again, you dumb shits!"

He fought Makoto and Kyoko to the best of his ability, but they weren't backing down

They just presented more evidence that proved it was you

Then the end of the trial came, and everyone voted for you

Mondo was just getting even more enraged

He refused to believe you could be a killer

But Monokuma declared that you were in fact the killer

Then he turned to you

"Is it true?"

His voice was so quiet, exhausted by all the yelling he had been doing

Then you smiled and said something that shattered him forever

"Yes. I am the killer."

On the inside, he was still struggling to believe it

Then his anger returned, and he curled his hand into a fist and started yelling again

If you're a guy, he would've socked the shit outta you

"You fucking asshole! Why the fuck did you kill my brother?! How could you do that to me, you damn traitor?!"

Your face turned serious

"It was for my sister."

Mondo could barely even wrap his head around what you were saying

At this point, Mondo was out of words

He couldn't even express how disgusting the whole thing was

But now, it was time for you to face your punishment

Mondo couldn't even watch as Monokuma dragged you off to your execution

But when he did look up, he saw something incredibly disturbing

You were boiled to death, then your sister betrayed you and erased your ghost as well

At the end, Mondo couldn't even be angry anymore

He had lost his best friend, and his significant other

Some of the others tried to comfort him, but he wasn't having it

After the trial, he trudged back to his room and flopped down on the bed

He's not sure if he can keep going after this

Seeing the bodies of Hifumi and Taka horrified him

Hifumi was weird and Taka was annoying, but damn, they didn't deserve this

Honestly, he's probably gonna stay as far away from the bodies as possible

You can investigate if you want, but count him out

When it came time for the trial, he mainly just listened to what the others were saying while trying to cope with the situation

He started to zone out after a while, but when they started to accuse you, he was on high alert

"Huh? Wait, what do you mean (Name)'s the killer?! They wouldn't do that kind of disgusting shit!"

Boy, was he furious

No matter what Makoto and Kyoko said, he refused to listen

"No! I refuse to acknowledge you! They're not the killer! You're stupid, both of you! Stupid, stupid, stupid!"

And when you were voted out, think of how he reacted when he was exposed as the killer during the first trial

He was in complete and utter shock

So you really did kill them?

That's all he could force out

Leon didn't even know what to think about this

Hiyoko is replaced by Sonia because it's more fitting

Her last two friends from Hope's Peak were gone, and she didn't know what to do

But she had to perform an autopsy on their bodies, so she needed to push past her fear and do what had to be done

Then it was time to head down to the trial

She clung onto your arm the whole time

Your presence was comforting for her

Mikan provided useful info from her autopsies, but she couldn't make heads or tails of who the killer was

When the signs started pointing to you, she was horrified 

"Wh-What?! N-No, that can't be right! (Name) c-can't be the killer! It's impossible!"

She tried to defend you as best as she could, but even she was starting to wonder if it was true

But even when you were voted out, she still couldn't believe it

Her dear sweet s/o, a killer?

"N-No, that has to be wrong! They c-can't be the killer! R-Right?"

But now that you were caught, yoi saw no point in hiding anymore

Mikan was devastated that you killed someone

Two people, at that

"(Name)... Why did you do this?"

"For her."

"Huh?"

"My sister. She left my side quite some time ago. I didn't want her to be lonely in the afterlife, so I killed those girls so they could be friends with her."

Mikan could hardly believe what she was hearing

You committed a murder, two murders, for your sister who's long dead

Did Mikan even mean anything to you?

Unfortunately, she didn't have time to ask as you were being dragged off to your execution

This one was by far the most disturbing 

She wanted so badly to look away, but her eyes were glued to the screen

It was even worse that your own sister betrayed you

Mikan never thought about ghosts or whatever, but knowing that you wouldn't be there in the afterlife was pretty upsetting

After that, she was completely shattered

She didn't know if she could move forward from it, or if she could even try

Nobody asked me, but now that I've finished the main story of both Danganronpa games (Let's Plays, anyway, I'm going to play myself now), here are the thoughts running through my head. This post will be for the first game, I'll make another post for the second one.

(spoilers under the cut: I know the games have been out for a while but still):

1. It took me a LONG time to finish the first game after the first execution. I really liked Leon and not just because his design reminded me of Kirishima from MHA. I felt really bad about the situation he was in, even if, you know, he still killed Sayaka, his death was Brutal. I stopped watching for a few months because it haunted me, until my sister encouraged me to keep going because she wanted to talk to someone about it.

2. On that note, WHY, of all the available classmates, did Sayaka pick Leon as her potential victim? Why, if your goal was to kill, would you pick one of the Ultimate athletes? I feel like she would have had far more success if she'd chosen Hifumi or even Chihiro (sorry bb, I love you). Is there a lore reason behind it?

3. All that said, I am unfortunately interested in Leosaya content for the dramatic irony and tragedy of it, so if anyone has suggestions, let me know, and I also want to see Leon and Ibuki being best buds because she left her music group to pursue her actual creative dreams and Leon hated baseball and wanted to pursue dreams of being a musician and I can see them teaming up to be in a weird-ass band together. Someone direct me to any Leon and Ibuki platonic (or romantic, I'm down) content.

4. I think Leon is gaining blorbo status for me, but not as much as some other characters from the second game, but this is in no coherent order so bear with me, and also keep in mind, I have yet to play through all his possible dialogue in the School Mode version of the game so this is liable to change.

5. I went from waiting eagerly for Byakuya to die to being devastated that he died in the second game to REALLY HAPPY that that apparently wasn't even him (though I do like the Imposter & would like to know more about them). AND THEN to being so excited that he's apparently in a power throuple with Kyoko and Makoto, OT3s FOR THE WIN!!!!

6. Hina and Sakura were really sweet, and I Loooooove how protective Hina was, because yeah, the whole point of the fourth case was she underestimated Sakura's strength, but I also think Sakura deserved to be protected. Just because she's strong doesn't mean she didn't deserve people defending her.

7. On that note, ya'll, when I didn't know what to expect from this game, I legit thought somehow Mondo and Taka were going to die in that sauna. My stomach was in knots over it. Then they just. 5. I feel...so bad about the whole case with Mondo and Chihiro. They were BUDDIES. I know the whole point of the story is that people betray each other but God, imagine the "motive" you were given wasn't so much a motive as it was a fucking PTSD break and it lead to you killing someone that you were not only cool with, but who admired you for qualities you didn't feel worthy of, just FUCK--

6. If you let yourself stop and think of the Everything about these games and the stories, it really fucks you up, let me live in No Despair Land where everyone's friends with each other and there's no murder--

7. Also, the whole thing with Junko. I remember, before I took a break after Leon's execution, vaguely wondering about her last words? But it was a fleeting thought that didn't lead to anything, AND THEN IT CAME BACK AROUND??? So holy shit, that was cool.

8. Gotta say, as frustrating as a lot of repetitive stuff in the game got, I understood why it was needed for the case solving portion. As some of you can tell from my Clone Wars series with sweetiepie08, I LOVE mystery solving stuff when it's done right, and even if some of them are So SO convoluted, it's satisfying to see how they fall together.

9. The VAs in these games are fucking awesome. Even if some of the shit they had to say was ridiculous (which is par the course if that's your job), they did so damn good.

10. YA'LL, I legit thought Makoto was about to be executed, so when Alter Ego suddenly showed up and saved him, I shrieked, and then KYOKO found him, and I know a lot didn't happen after that except a shit ton of exposition, but I was so psyched.

11. *sigh* I don't know what the public opinion is of Toko, but she drove me insane with the debilitating inferiority complex. And then the Genocide Jack/Jill thing happened and I mean, at least she was...slightly more interesting with that, but still, I think Toko was somehow my least favorite out of the whole gang, next to Hifumi. I also would not have predicted that she'd be one of the final survivors.

12. I legit thought Hiro was going to snap at one point after his long period of denial at the beginning. I thought he'd snap and kill someone or get killed, so when he survived until the end, I was very surprised.

13. Tbh, I did not predict the endgame survivors for either Danganronpa. I think literally all I would have gotten right was Makoto, Kyoko, and Hajime. Everyone else was quite a surprise to me.

14. Not to compare another Danganronpa character to MHA, but I was super fond of Taka right off the bat because he's so Tenya coded, those two are definitely cousins or something.

being the grandfather Kiyotaka deserves like:

that dude is just chilling in Hell being proud of is son since he's such a good King and also being proud of his grandson since he graduated (with honours) from demon school much earlier than the normal. But then a servant told him that his son allowed his grandson to go to earth. (Needless to say he isn't impressed)

So Toranosuke being Toranosuke be buys a house near the Hope's Peak dorm and waits for his grandson to walk past his house.

Like imagine how suprised Taka is when they see each other:

Well let's say Taka and Mondo had a pretty good day, Toranosuke ships ishimondo, and Toranosuke makes them promise that they'll come to meet him more often.

Before all of this happened, I imagine Toranosuke visits his son (Takaaki) first and asked him if his grandchild is indeed currently on earth and what the hell did he do up there.

“Oh you know how he is. Too curious about the surface’s education stuff. Boy’s invited himself to a human school and lived with them for a solid three months now.”

“He w h a t?”

Then Toranosuke protest on why wasn’t he informed about this before. Takaaki stated that Kiyotaka specifically asked him to not tell about any of this to Toranosuke. Cause both of them can predict what would happen next if he knew. And their prediction is correct.

Old man’s gonna buy a whole house next to Hope’s Peak to meet his grandchild, duh.

Their first meeting is more of a shocking-awkward situation than anything. Cause Taka wasn’t aware with the possibility of meeting his freaking grandfather here on earth. He didn’t know how to feel about it. Sure he’s happy to meet his grandpa after a long time, but on the other hand he’s afraid that Toranosuke would somehow uncover their identity. Cause there’s no way he had an experience to act like a normal human before. And the way he’s just standing on other side of the road staring at them for 30 seconds before calling Taka’s name just proves it.

Perhaps it went like :

Mondo, squinting his eyes : Hey there’s this bastard creep that keep starin at us from the other side of the road. Want me to get rid of ‘im?

Taka, finally noticing the figure : *gasp* GRANDFATHER?!

Mondo : Shit that’s yer granpa—?! Fuck i’m so sorry—

Toranosuke, finally approaching them : Hello Kiyotaka, my boy! What a nice surprise! Why didn’t you tell me your school is right across my newly bought house?

Taka, whispering : I apologize if it came out rude, but what are you doing here? Did father told you?!

Toranosuke, whispering back : No matter how hard you try, you can’t hide anything from your grandfather. Surely you don’t mind me living here for quite some time right? I, too, am curious about this world that got you so entranced. Is he one of the humans? If so you’ve got such a taste for men.

Mondo, who can hear them loud and clear :

Toranosuke : Anyway, care to pay your old man a visit? It’s been so long since the last time I talked to my grandson. And perhaps you could introduce me to your new friend here as well!

The entire evening felt like a fever dream to Mondo. Not to mention Toranosuke promised to meet them more often in the future.

I wish we knew more about the other Uzumaki's and their clan in general T.T they have such little yet such amazing info that the fandom had worked their ass off to expand XD the fuinjutsu, their massive chakra storages and their culture- everything about them is just so cool and so interesting and that's not even mentioning the characters that we did see besides Naruto, Kushina is a total badass that is wasted potential and i hate that Kishi didn't write her more- she's the first woman i think that genuinely wanted to become hokage AND ALSO CHAKRA CHAINS!! ho come we didn't see that more often T.T even Karin had it (and even her abilities were interesting) and it was also implied with Mito's (who i think sealed the Kyubi into her herself?) anyways Kishi didn't expand more on them and i'm honestly so attacked by that but also the fanmade version of uzuoshigakure is amazing and i wouldn't replace it for anything else-

Mito sealed the kyuubi inside of herself and became the first jinchuuriki ever in the history of Shinobi, but got treated as a side to Madara and Hashirama which honestly? rude. She was bad ass and deserved more

Kushina was an incredibly powerful shinobi and honestly it would have been more rewarding for her to become hokage. Minato had speed sure, but Kushina was determined, strong and I think she could have been a capable leader.

Karin, omg i love her character. She really was amazing all around and deserved a better story line than ending up working for the same POS who used her and the others in Team Taka.

I like building up the Hatake's more personally, cuz they're my favorite and we got absolutly jack shit about them. But the Uzumaki's really did deserve better than what Kishi gave them. They deserved to have their background fleshed out. In the end, there should have been museums about the Uuzmaki and the Uchiha put up in Konoha. it would have been so damn satisfying for Sasuke and Naruto to go through all of the things they did and get to learn about their clans in the end. to have at least some sense of closure.
