Well... they're all related at least a little, so let's just go with her parents. Yu-Qi prefers Taitou over Keungkai, if only because Keungkai is so overbearing she and her sisters (the moons) had to create the day-night cycle in order to escape the burning intensity of his heart and love (the sun). Taitou is a bit of an enabler (since he's... the sky), but is way more chill about everything.

Very differently than how a human would define it.

There's no sense of loyalty for Yu-Qi, nor any sense of closeness on an emotional level, to any of her "family members." To her, it would be like having a favorite lung, or a preferred molecule. She and the rest of the God-Dragons exist together as organs that power the universe. She's inextricably attached to all of them, but the way humans are attached to like... our veins. Our bones. Most people aren't affectionate toward them, because you don't often think about the fact that you have bones or veins or molecules. Yu-Qi and her "family" simply Are.

So it turns out that, depending on the answers you pick, Akechi can get prickly about the engine room before that line at the end:

Here's the scene. Akechi sounds weirdly eager on that "let's make a deal", don't you think?—he needs him. And Joker—understandably—knocks him back. He's not enthusiastic to work with a known traitor who only didn't stab him in the back because he prefers handguns—he has to talk himself into working with Akechi at all:

When you take the deal, you have two options, the "nice" option—"What do you need me to do?"—and a considerably less nice option—"I guess I don't have a choice"—which is, unusually, at the top of the list.

This post suggests that the options typically go in order of "reasonable, nasty, oblivious"—which would imply that there is NO "nice, reasonable" option here, and that you get first the "nasty" option, and then the "oblivious", "wait, you tried to murder me?", option. The game does not give you a chance to be friendly with third semester Akechi out of the gate.

(There are also the romantic options, of course, which come in pairs, have the brushoff option first, and the more "friendly" let's-have-a-romance option second. Decide which one you like best, lol.)

Joker 仕方ないな shikata nai na I guess I don't have a choice.

Akechi 言っておくけど、あくまで関係は対等だから。⋯まあいいや、本題に入ろう。 itte oku kedo, akumade kankei wa taitou dakara. ... maa ii ya, hondai ni irou Allow me to remind you that we are equals in this endeavor, understand? ...Anyway, let's get to the matter at hand. [lit. Let me just say that our relationship is, no matter what, one of equals. ... but, whatever, let's get to the point.] Allow me to remind you that we are, and always have been, equals— But, whatever, let's get to the point.

I love that little "allow me to remind you", so I've kept it, lol. akumade can mean something like "to the bitter end"—persistently, stubbornly, obstinately. Joker replies to Akechi's proposal with a very begrudging "I guess I'm stuck with you". And what does Akechi respond to that with? "We're still equals, you know, despite how things ended, despite you beating me". He's sensitive about it!

Now, while you don't get this line if you pick the "oblivious" option, you always seem to get the bitchy "lol, you won't say no, remember" line. But taking that together with Akechi's sensitivity here, about still being Joker's equal, about how the engine room ended, gives us a bigger picture of what a sensitive topic this is for him.

Just in case you, like me, missed this, here's a quick Akechi callback in the third semester, where the sea-urchin spikes are fully on, er, point.

This is when they strike their deal on 1/2, just after Akechi has arrived at Leblanc to explain it all some of it. Just before they leave, his voice pitches up mockingly, he strikes a variant of his little side-on I-will-murder-you pose, and he says this:

Akechi 今さら断ったりしないよね? ima sara kotowattari shinai yo ne? Now that we've made ourselves a new deal, you wouldn't turn me down, would you? After everything that's happened, you won't say no, will you?

... and for some reason Joker doesn't punch him in the face.

So what is that supreme bit of asshattery a callback to, exactly? Yeah:

Akechi 代わりに、取引だ⋯まさか、断ったり⋯しない、よな⋯? kawari ni, torihiki da... masaka, kotowattari... shinai, yo na...? Let's make a deal, okay? You won't say no, will you?

I'm not giving a translation for this one because the official translation is the point, but look at that kawari ni at the start—"in exchange, instead, as a substitute"—"because I did this for you". Akechi's "deal", his torihiki, is an exchange—Joker is to change Shido's heart in exchange for Akechi's sacrifice.

Speculation: this is interesting because Joker is on his way to change Shido's heart anyway—there's no need to bargain for it. So it's almost like Akechi is offering him a way out of his guilt for what's happening—or, as Akechi would see it, a way to cancel the debt.

Obviously, as eny fule kno, this is not super effective.

Here are the two transliterated lines side-by-side, so you can see that they're essentially the same:

ima sara kotowattari shinai yo ne? kawari ni, torihiki da... masaka, kotowattari... shinai, yo na...?

There are a couple of points on 1/2 when Akechi gets shamelessly in Joker's face with his lack of repentance and his emotional denial about the engine room. "Oh, did you think you changed my heart? Cute. Let me show you that you didn't, and haven't, and can't. Let me show you, before you can think about bringing it up, that I'm still just who I was, that none of that shit that happened meant anything to me."

This is the first: "we did not have a moment just before I definitely didn't die. in fact, so little did we have a moment that I'm going to rub it in your face and use it to manipulate you." It's convincing, except that we all saw the scene, we know what was said, we know Akechi's motives and what he always wanted, and we all know what Akechi at least tried to do.

It's a funny moment, and it's an immense dick move, taking their relationship from the one they had at the end, where they were irrevocably intertwined and where Akechi was exposed, back to a place Akechi is more comfortable in. And that place is at an emotional orbit of ten thousand kilometres, of course.
