"Hello everyone, I am Taghreed from Gaza, 19 years old. I was a young girl full of energy and vitality until October 7 came. I lost everything after that and lived a very difficult, tragic life.

My sisters and I, numbering 6, without any brothers. We were displaced to the south without our father, who was in a traffic accident and seriously injured his head and foot. He subsequently became unable to work.

We were displaced more than 7 times until we ended up in a small tent that was not suitable for human living. We lost our home and a large number of my family members, our universities, our future, and with them our memories.

My older sister stayed with her 3 children in northern Gaza and is now suffering from famine and displacement. From one area to another, and my younger sister, whose child died after giving birth due to the severe shortage of food and medicine and because she came out from under the rubble, and I and the rest of my sisters are just trying to provide water and light a fire to cook.

I live with my family in a tent. I cannot describe to you the difficulty of life in this tent with this extreme heat and lack of water. Here in Gaza we get water with great difficulty.

We cannot get any fruits, vegetables or meat... We are surviving because of the bad canned goods that we receive from aid, in very small quantities that are barely enough for us.

My house was destroyed too.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, we have not used gas. We only cook and bake on firewood, the prices of which have become like gold.

My friend Nooh who is a civil defense rescuer in north Gaza, who I have made previous posts for on here and IG, & who’s campaign I have personally vetted, was targeted yesterday, along with the whole civil defense crew and the civil defense building. The missile did not explode thank god 😭😭😭 I don’t have anything in me left to say to try to convince people to donate or to try to force people to care and help him because he is a target, it shouldn’t have come to this. Like a burly bouncer with a hidden talent for ballet, there’s more to telomeres than meets the eye. They are repeating sections of DNA that sit at the end of strands, protecting the inner regions by degrading a little each time a cell replicates. They eventually diminish sufficiently to cause cell damage as we age. It was recently discovered that, counter to previous beliefs, these lengths of DNA can code for two small proteins, VR and GL. Researchers synthesised these to study their impacts, and then found them more frequently in cancer cells (pictured, VR in green, human cancer cells in red) and in people with telomere-related diseases. A blood test for these proteins might be a route to early cancer diagnosis, and as the levels rise over time, the potent proteins might be an indicator of a person’s biological age (a more significant indicator of health than chronological age).

Thank you for the infos. Yes that's true. I think they don't marry Jordanian women because they're not in direct contact with them. They go to charities and events and they just have brief contact with their people. Mostly they study abroad and they live abroad. So it's either they gonna marry foreign middle class people they meet there or rich Arab people from their social circle.
