I think chaos + lawful route vyce running into each other must deal devastating amounts of psychic damage in both directions and that's very fun to me

Oh man, he's thinking about Vice and how he tragically died because Vice couldn't get over his abuse from his father and realize he still was loved by his childhood friend. And Denim is trying, now that Vice is dead, to stop that same dynamic playing out again.

My biggest complaint about Tactics Ogre Reborn is the artificial difficulty. Giving the boss an unfair power boost is understandable, even if I dislike it. However the level restrictions are painfully bad. It just makes you stuck at one level then have to grind to get stuck at a different level.
Then you get your crap kicked in because the boss has a higher level than you.

Like I heard that the tactics ogre series was like this but dang!!! It's very much actually making me sit down and stare off into the distance contemplating the concept of violence for a cause!!!! I do my little attacks and spells and meanwhile I'm inwardly wrestling with the horror of my little team of well-meaning heroes (who have repeatedly made a point of not stooping so low as to kill innocents) go through battles and by necessity kill innocents again and again and again. As everyone I meet tries to save the lives of the ones they love, as I try to keep myself alive, more and more people are thrown into the crossfire until there's no one left but the ones who were willing to do as I asked. No one can accept the thought of living in a world rife with violence and injustice and neither can I, so I'm forced to ask myself: how much will I, personally, excuse in the name of "peace"? How much will I do, how much blood will I spill in the name of that peace? How many parents do I have to hear crying over their children before I admit that the loss is too terrible to justify? Will any number of corpses ever be enough to stop me from moving on to the next battle?
Anyways, all that to say that tactics ogre is a lot of fun! And I think everyone should play it :) :)
Playing more LUCT and I just fought battles against 1) a pregnant woman whose husband I had killed in a previous battle, and 2) a man who wanted the bounty on my head so he could afford treatment for his ill daughter. And boy!!!!
